RESUMEN

Introduction: Because of the problems of insufficient funds and traditional training methods in college sports agile training, an agile training system based on a wireless ad hoc network was developed to evaluate the effect of improving the sensitive quality of ordinary college students. Based on the ESP-MESH network, the lower computer realizes automatic networking between devices and tests the performance of the mesh network. Fourteen male college students received 9 weeks of agility training, with seven students in each of two groups: traditional agility training and agile equipment training. The researchers evaluated the performance of both groups in rapid disguise, body coordination, changing movements, and predictive decision-making. Results: There was no significant difference between the groups before training, but there were significant differences in the four abilities after training (p < 0.01). The experimental group had significant differences in rapid direction change and physical coordination (p < 0.05), and in changing movement and predictive decision-making ability (p < 0.01). Conclusion: Both traditional training and agile equipment training improve the agility quality of college students, and the latter shows better results in certain abilities. However, limited by other physical qualities, the improvement of motor changes and predictive decision-making ability is not as obvious as the other two abilities.

RESUMEN

Glaucoma is the second leading cause of irreversible blindness worldwide, among which primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) is the most common form of glaucoma in some populations. To date, published data on the association between MTHFR (Ala222Val) polymorphism and POAG risk are still inconclusive. In this work, we performed a meta-analysis of available case-control study in order to assess the association between MTHFR (Ala222Val) polymorphism and POAG susceptibility. In total we compiled 13 studies (1970 POAG patients and 1712 control subjects) into the meta-analysis. Overall, no obvious associations between MTHFR (Ala222Val) polymorphism and POAG susceptibility was found under all four genetic models (Val/Val versus Ala/Ala: OR = 1.05, 95% CI = 0.77-1.43; Ala/Val versus Ala/Ala: OR = 1.05, 95% CI = 0.86-1.26; Ala/Val + Val/Val versus Ala/Ala: OR = 1.08, 95% CI = 0.87-1.34; Val/Val versus Ala/Val + Ala/Ala: OR = 1.14, 95% CI = 0.67-1.92). In the stratified analysis by ethnicity, significant associations were still not observed in all genetic models. In conclusion, based on 13 eligible studies, the result provided strong evidences that MTHFR Ala222Val polymorphism is not associated with POAG.

RESUMEN

PURPOSE: To study the results of laser epithelial keratectomileusis (LASEK) for myopia. METHODS: LASEK was performed with the Nidek EC-5000 excimer laser. 39 patients (78 eyes) with a refraction of -1.50 to -12.00 diopters were treated and followed for 3-12 months. Postoperrative pain, uncorrected visual acuity (UCVA), refraction, corneal haze, and surgical preference were examined. RESULTS: During 3-12 months follow-up, 96.2% UCVA were above 0.5, 92.3% eyes were at least 1.0 in UCVA. The last refraction were whthin +1.00 D and -1.00 D in 18 eyes except 4 eyes. The II grade haze was found in four eye. CONCLUSIONS: LASEK was one of methods to treat eyes with myopia safely and effectively, but also studied in operation, experiment, and further effect.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE: To analyse the clinical results of reconstruction of vocal cord using sternohyoid muscle flap after partial laryngectomy and research a new repairing method to improve laryngeal function and living quality of patient. METHOD: The pronunciation of larynx is on the basic of the vibration of the vocal cord by air current. The laryngeal appearance and the function of opposite side vocal cord is very important for improving the quality of pronunciation. We developed a technique of thyroid cartilage membrane and sternohyoid muscle flap to repair the defect left by a vertical laryngectomy and reconstructed the vocal cord. The thyroid cartilage membrane was used to bridge over the upper part defect of laryngeal cavity, the sternohyoid muscle flap forming the opposite side was made a 90 degree bent toward the laryngeal cavity to repaired the lower part defect of laryngeal cavity and reconstruct a new vocal cord. The repaired larynx recovered the normal appearance. The new vocal cord participated speech. The anterior 2/3 part of both vocal cored could contacted in pronunciation of patient. The phonation function of larynx was restored. RESULT: Sixty-one cases partial laryngectomy was taken including vertical partial laryngectomy in 37 cases, extended vertical partial laryngectomy in 24. During their operations, the laryngeal defect was repaired with thyroid cartilage membrane and sternohyoid muscle flap, and a vocal cord was reconstructed in the same time. After operation, the laryngeal cavity repaired has a normal appearance, and the laryngeal satisfactory phonation effect has been obtained. 93.4% of the patients enjoyed a socially acceptable voice and rejoined normal working. CONCLUSION: A technique of thyroid cartilage and sternohyoid muscle flap to repair the defect and reconstructive vocal cord after partial laryngectomy make patient recover normal laryngeal appearance and obtain satisfactory phonation effect. Among the method of repairation for partial laryngectomy sternohyoid muscle flap should be first considered owing to its various merits: 1. abundant material. 2. convenient procedures. 3. smaller trauma. 4. satisfactory effect.
