ABSTRACT
In the title compound, C(14)H(7)F(2)NO(2), the phthalimide ring system is nearly planar [maximum atomic deviation = 0.028â
(1)â
Å] and it is twisted with respect to the attached benzene ring, making a dihedral angle of 55.70â
(6)°. Weak inter-molecular C-Hâ¯F hydrogen bonds are present in the crystal structure.
