Laceração traqueal por alçaponamento de ar - relato de caso / Tracheal laceration by air trap ­ case report

RESUMO

Lesões traqueais intraoperatórias são raras e graves. Estão comumente associadas a intubação orotraqueal (IOT). Clinicamente apresentam-se insidiosamente e estão associadas a taxa de mortalidade elevada. O diagnóstico é difícil e requer um alto índice de suspeição. O objetivo deste trabalho é relatar e discutir o manejo anestésico e cirúrgico de uma paciente que apresentou uma laceração traqueal durante IOT.

ABSTRACT

Intraoperative tracheal lesions are rare, severe and commonly associated with orotracheal intubation (OTI). The presentation is insidious and are associated with high mortality rate. The diagnosis is hard and demands a high level of suspicion. The aim of this study is to report and discuss the anesthetic and surgical management of a patient who presented a tracheal laceration during OTI.
