Giant juvenile fibroadenoma of the breast in a 12-year-old girl.

Giant juvenile fibroadenomas, encountered usually in adolescents, are rapidly growing benign breast masses which lead to discomfort, anxiety and significant psychological stress. The breasts are in their early formative years, and thus, it is important to rule out malignancy as well as plan treatment options to preserve as much breast tissue as is possible. This report highlights a case of giant juvenile fibroadenoma diagnosed in a 12-year-old female child and our endeavour to achieve a good aesthetic result.

A unique case of uncorrected Fallot's tetralogy with nasal dermoid cyst and median cleft lip presenting during postpartum.

While tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) is the most common cyanotic congenital heart disease among children, its first presentation in the third decade of life just after successful pregnancy outcome is extremely rare. In fact, survival of both child and mother having uncorrected TOF after noninstitutional delivery is unheard of. Herein, authors report a case of previously undiagnosed TOF associated with other midline congenital abnormalities, that is, nasal dermoid cyst and cleft palate, who presented for the first time with postpartum hemorrhage after an unsupervised home birth. To the best of our knowledge, this unique association has never been described before.

Giant Schwannoma on Thenar Aspect of the Hand: A Rare Case Report.

Schwannomas are the most common benign tumors of peripheral nerves but are rare in adults. They have an extremely slow rate of growth before the onset of symptoms such as pain, paresthesia, and tingling. Giant schwannomas of the extremities can significantly affect the quality of life. With a correct diagnosis, the tumor can be extirpated with preservation of nerve function and a very low risk of recurrence. A case of a symptomatic giant schwannoma on thenar eminence of the right hand in an adult male is discussed in this report.
