BACKGROUND: Distiller's grains are a by-product of liquor production with a higher yield than liquor. Developing and utilizing distiller's grains well could alleviate the problem of scarce feed resources. Our present experiment was conducted with 6000 yellow-feathered broilers to study the effects of adding distiller's grains yeast cultures (DGYC) to the diet on growth performance and immunity of broilers. The broilers were divided into five groups, receiving different DGYC concentrations during two stages. Growth performance, intestinal microorganisms and immune organ development were measured. RESULTS: The results showed that groups B and D, supplemented with medium and high concentrations of DGYC, respectively, had significantly improved growth performance compared to the control group (P < 0.05). Group D also showed higher immune organ index (P < 0.01), increased serum total protein, high-density lipoprotein and immunoglobulin levels (P < 0.05) and lower levels of low-density lipoprotein, triglycerides, interleukin 1ß and tumor necrosis factor α (P < 0.05). Hematoxylin and eosin staining confirmed improved immune organ development in group D (P < 0.05). Furthermore, in high-concentration group D, levels of short-chain fatty acids (SCFA; acetic, propionic and butyric acids) in cecal chyme were significantly increased (P < 0.05). The richness (Chao1) and diversity (Faith-pd) index of cecal microbiota were significantly higher in group D compared to the control group (P < 0.05). The microbial composition in group D differed from the control and medium-concentration group B. Seven bacteria (Clostridia-UCG-014, UCG-009, DTU089, UCG-010, Campylobacter, Harryflintia, Shuttleworthia) showed significant differences (P < 0.05). After DGYC feeding, DTU089 decreased, while other SCFA-producing bacteria increased (P < 0.05). Subsequently, KEGG function and corresponding signal pathway predictions were performed on bacteria with significant differences. Group D exhibited a higher enrichment of immune function pathways (P < 0.01) and showed significant changes in four immune signaling pathways according to the signal pathway heatmap. CONCLUSION: Our data suggest that high concentrations of DGYC can be applied as a feed additive for broilers that promotes growth, improves intestinal health and enhances certain immunity. © 2024 Society of Chemical Industry.

INTRODUCTION: This study aims to discern the efficacy and toxicity of stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) in older adults with stage I-II non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and establish a prognostic nomogram for these patients. MATERIALS AND METHODS: One hundred forty-two patients (aged ≥65 years) with clinically-confirmed stage I-II NSCLC treated with SBRT from 2009 to 2020 were enrolled in the study. Primary end points included overall survival (OS), progression free survival (PFS), cumulative incidences of local failure (LF), regional failure (RF), distant failure (DF), and toxicity. A nomogram for OS was developed and validated internally using one thousand bootstrap resamplings. RESULTS: The median times to LF, RF, and DF were 22.1 months, 26.9 months and 24.1 months, respectively. The 1-, 3-, and 5-year PFS rates from the start of SBRT were 79.4 %, 53.1 %, and 38.9 %, respectively. Performance status, pre-SBRT platelet to lymphocyte ratio (PLR), and planning tumor volume (PTV) were predictive of PFS. The 1-, 3-, and 5-year OS rates from the start of SBRT were 90.8 %, 67.9 % and 47.6 %, respectively. In multivariate analysis, good performance status, a low level of pre-SBRT PLR, and small tumor size were associated with better prognosis, all of which were included in the nomogram. The model showed optimal discrimination, with a C-index of 0.651 and good calibration. The most common adverse reactions were grade 1-2, such as anemia, cough, and fatigue. DISCUSSION: SBRT is a reasonable treatment modality for early-stage NSCLC in older adults. It achieved good survival outcomes and low toxicity. The proposed nomogram may be able to estimate individual outcomes for these patients.

Background: Laparoscopic common bile duct exploration (LCBDE) proves a safe and effective treatment for choledochal stones. After LCBDE, preferred choledochal closure is favored for short- and long-term outcomes compared with t-tube drainage. However, there are no relevant studies on the technique of layered closure of the common bile duct with double-needle bidirectional barbed suture at home and abroad. Materials and Methods: A retrospective study of 37 patients who underwent laparoscopic choledochotomy from January 2021 to October 2023 in our hospital was performed. A continuous layered one-stage suture using two-needle bidirectional barb wire. The primary outcomes were stone clearance, operative time, blood loss, and complications. Secondary outcomes were complications, length of hospitalization, and time to drain removal. Results: During the study period, laparoscopic surgery was successful in all cases, and the initial stones were removed without complications. Conclusion: The treatment of choledocholithiasis with continuous layered one-stage suture with double-needle bidirectional barbed wire after LCBDE is a new convenient and effective treatment in selected patients.

Bone marrow biopsy depends on tissue morphology, immunohistochemical staining, and moleculardetection. Tissue pretreatment is required for bone marrow samples, from clinical specimen acquisition to pathological reporting, but during the process, proteins and nucleic acids are often altered because of the acid in fixation and decalcification solutions. In our study, we present an easy and effective pretreatment protocol and compared this novel pretreatment protocol (Set 2) with an existing traditional pretreatment process (Set 1) using tissue morphology, IHC staining, and molecular pathological analyses. Granulocytic IHC markers showed more intensive staining in samples of Set 2 than in those of Set 1. The Set 2 protocol provided a higher DNA yield and less fragmentation; moreover, samples processed with the Set 2 protocol could be subsequently used in FISH and DNA sequencing assays. Our optimized novel pretreatment protocol could better protect proteins and DNA molecules while maintaining good cell morphology compared to traditional pretreatment The novel pretreatment reagents could role as a reference by more laboratories for pretreating bone marrow biopsy samples and scientific research.

Borosins are a class of ribosomally synthesized and post-translationally modified peptides (RiPPs) with α-N-methylated backbones. Although the first mature compound of borosin was reported in 1997, the biosynthetic pathway was elucidated 20 years later. Until this work, borosins have been able to be categorized into 11 types based on the features of their protein structure and core peptides. Type III borosins were reported only in fungi initially. In order to explore the sources and potential of type III borosins, a precise genome mining work of type III borosins was conducted in bacteria and KchMA's self-methylation activity was validated by biochemical experiment. Furthermore, a commercial protease and AI-assisted rational design was employed to engineer KchMA for the capacity to produce various N-methylated peptides. Our work demonstrates that type III borosins are abundant not only in eukaryotes but also in bacteria and have immense potential as a tool for synthetic biology.

OBJECTIVE: The aim of the present study was to assess the therapeutic impact of diosgenin derivative ML5 on Parkinson's disease (PD) and explore the mechanism underlying mitochondrial biogenesis and fusion/fission. METHODS: We established 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine (MPTP)-induced mouse models and N-methyl-4-phenylpyridinium iodide (MPP+)-induced cell models of PD. The pole test and forced swimming test were used to detect the motor coordination and depressive symptoms in mice. The influence of ML5 on dopaminergic neuronal injury was investigated. Meanwhile, adenosine triphosphate (ATP) content, mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP), and reactive oxygen species (ROS) production were measured to evaluate mitochondrial function. Confocal and transmission electron microscopy were used to detect mitochondrial morphology of cell. The expression of mitochondrial biogenesis-related proteins was measured by Western blotting. RESULTS: The administration of ML5 showed the neuroprotection against MPTP-induced damage in vivo and in vitro. The levels of ATP, MMP, and ROS were restored after ML5 administration. In addition, we observed that ML5 preserved the mitochondrial network morphology and inhibited mitochondrial fission. Furthermore, the amelioration of mitochondrial dysfunction was mediated by enhancing 5'-monophosphate-activated protein kinase (AMPK) and peroxisome proliferators-activated receptor γ coactivator-l alpha (PGC-1α) expression, which activated its downstream modulators leading to the enhancing of mitochondrial biogenesis and the balance of mitochondrial fusion/fission. CONCLUSION: ML5 can protect the PD models against MPTP/MPP+-induced mitochondrial dysfunction and neuronal injury via promoting AMPK/PGC-1α signaling activation and be used as a therapeutic drug for PD treatment.

Breast cancer is a major public health concern worldwide, being the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women and a leading cause of cancer-related deaths. Recent studies have highlighted the significance of non-histone methylation in breast cancer, which modulates the activity, interaction, localization, and stability of target proteins. This regulation affects critical processes such as oncogenesis, tumor growth, proliferation, invasion, migration, and immune responses. This review delves into the enzymes responsible for non-histone methylation, such as protein arginine methyltransferases (PRMTs), lysine methyltransferases (KMTs), and demethylases, and explores their roles in breast cancer. By elucidating the molecular mechanisms and functional consequences of non-histone methylation, this review aims to provide insights into novel therapeutic strategies targeting these pathways. The therapeutic potential of targeting non-histone methylation to overcome drug resistance and enhance treatment efficacy in breast cancer is also discussed, highlighting promising avenues for future research and clinical applications.

The coexistence of cadmium (Cd) can potentiate (synergism) or reduce (antagonism) the pesticide effects on organisms, which may change with chiral pesticide enantiomers. Previous studies have reported the toxic effects of chiral penthiopyrad on lipid metabolism in zebrafish (Danio rerio) liver. The Cd effects and toxic mechanism on lipid accumulation were investigated from the perspective of endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress and mitochondrial dysfunction. The coexistence of Cd increased the concentrations of penthiopyrad and its metabolites in zebrafish. Penthiopyrad exposure exhibited significant effects on lipid metabolism and mitochondrial function-related indicators, which were verified by lipid droplets and mitochondrial damage in subcellular structures. Moreover, penthiopyrad activated the genes of ER unfolded protein reaction (UPR) and Ca2+ permeable channels, and S-penthiopyrad exhibited more serious effects on ER stress with ER hyperplasia than R-penthiopyrad. As a mitochondrial uncoupler, the coexistence of Cd could decrease lipid accumulation by alleviating ER stress and mitochondrial dysfunction, and these effects were the most significant for R-penthiopyrad. There were antagonistic effects between Cd and penthiopyrad, which could reduce the damage caused by penthiopyrad in zebrafish, thus increasing the bioaccumulation of penthiopyrad in zebrafish. These findings highlighted the importance and necessity of evaluating the ecological risks of metal-chiral pesticide mixtures.

BACKGROUND: Integrin-Binding Sialoprotein (IBSP) has been implicated in tumor progression across various cancers. However, the specific role of IBSP in breast cancer remains underexplored. There is a need to investigate the mechanisms by which IBSP influences breast cancer progression and its potential as a therapeutic target. AIMS: This study aims to elucidate the role of IBSP in breast cancer, particularly its impact on tumor progression and its relationship with prognosis. We also seek to understand the underlying mechanisms, including the involvement of the BMP-SMAD signaling pathway, and to explore the potential of targeting IBSP for therapeutic interventions. METHODS AND RESULTS: Overexpression of IBSP in breast cancer cells led to increased migration and invasion, whereas IBSP interference reduced these behaviors, indicating its role in enhancing tumor progression. Differentially expressed genes were significantly enriched in the BMP-SMAD signaling pathway, a critical pathway for osteogenic differentiation. Transcription Factor Binding: Dual luciferase reporter assays demonstrated that SMAD4 specifically binds to the IBSP promoter, establishing a regulatory link between SMAD4 and IBSP expression. Silencing IBSP (si-IBSP) mitigated the effects of SMAD4-induced tumor proliferation, confirming that IBSP acts as a downstream target of SMAD4 in the BMP signaling pathway. CONCLUSION: Our study reveals that IBSP plays a significant role in breast cancer progression through the BMP-SMAD4 signaling pathway. Targeting IBSP could be a promising therapeutic strategy for breast cancer treatment. Further research into IBSP inhibitors may offer new avenues for improving treatment outcomes and managing breast cancer more effectively.

Background: Synthetic magnetic resonance imaging (SyMRI) is a fast, standardized, and robust novel quantitative technique that has the potential to circumvent the subjectivity of interpretation in prostate multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (mpMRI) and the limitations of existing MRI quantification techniques. Our study aimed to evaluate the potential utility of SyMRI in the diagnosis and aggressiveness assessment of prostate cancer (PCA). Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 309 patients with suspected PCA who had undergone mpMRI and SyMRI, and pathologic results were obtained by biopsy or PCA radical prostatectomy (RP). Pathological types were classified as PCA, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), or peripheral zone (PZ) inflammation. According to the Gleason Score (GS), PCA was divided into groups of intermediate-to-high risk (GS ≥4+3) and low-risk (GS ≤3+4). Patients with biopsy-confirmed low-risk PCA were further divided into upgraded and nonupgraded groups based on the GS changes of the RP results. The values of the apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC), T1, T2 and proton density (PD) of these lesions were measured on ADC and SyMRI parameter maps by two physicians; these values were compared between PCA and BPH or inflammation, between the intermediate-to-high-risk and low-risk PCA groups, and between the upgraded and nonupgraded PCA groups. The risk factors affecting GS grades were identified via univariate analysis. The effects of confounding factors were excluded through multivariate logistic regression analysis, and independent predictive factors were calculated. Subsequently, the ADC+Sy(T2+PD) combined models for predicting PCA risk grade or GS upgrade were constructed through data processing analysis. The diagnostic performance of each parameter and the ADC+Sy(T2+PD) model was analyzed. The calibration curve was calculated by the bootstrapping internal validation method (200 bootstrap resamples). Results: The T1, T2, and PD values of PCA were significantly lower than those of BPH or inflammation (P≤0.001) in both the PZ or transitional zone. Among the 178 patients with PCA, intermediate-to-high-risk PCA group had significantly higher T1, T2, and PD values but lower ADC values compared with the low-risk group (P<0.05), and the diagnostic efficacy of each single parameter was similar (P>0.05). The ADC+Sy(T2+PD) model showed the best performance, with an area under the curve (AUC) 0.110 [AUC =0.818; 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.754-0.872] higher than that of ADC alone (AUC =0.708; 95% CI: 0.635-0.774) (P=0.003). Among the 68 patients initially classified as PCA in the low-risk group by biopsy, PCA in the postoperative upgraded GS group had significantly higher T1, T2, and PD values but lower ADC values than did those in the nonupgraded group (P<0.01). In addition, the ADC+Sy(T2+PD) model better predicted the upgrade of GS, with a significant increase in AUC of 0.204 (AUC =0.947; 95% CI: 0.864-0.987) compared with ADC alone (AUC =0.743; 95% CI: 0.622-0.841) (P<0.001). Conclusions: Quantitative parameters (T1, T2, and PD) derived from SyMRI can help differentiate PCA from non-PCA. Combining SyMRI parameters with ADC significantly improved the ability to differentiate between intermediate-to-high risk PCA from low-risk PCA and could predict the upgrade of low-risk PCA as confirmed by biopsy.

Calycosin (Caly), a flavonoid compound, demonstrates a variety of beneficial properties. However, the specific mechanisms behind Caly's anticancer effects remain largely unexplored. Network pharmacology was used to explore the potential targets of Caly in renal cancer. Additionally, RNA-seq sequencing was used to detect changes in genes in renal cancer cells after Caly treatment. Validation was carried out through quantitative reverse transcription-PCR and Western blot analysis. The luciferase reporter assay was applied to pinpoint the interaction site between MAZ and HAS2. Furthermore, the immunoprecipitation assay was utilized to examine the ubiquitination and degradation of MAZ. In vivo experiments using cell line-derived xenograft mouse models were performed to assess Calycosin's impact on cancer growth. Network pharmacology research suggests Caly plays a role in promoting apoptosis and inhibiting cell adhesion in renal cancer. In vitro, Caly has been observed to suppress proliferation, colony formation, and metastasis of renal cancer cells while also triggering apoptosis. Additionally, it appears to diminish hyaluronic acid synthesis by downregulating HAS2 expression. MAZ is identified as a transcriptional regulator of HAS2 expression. Calycosin further facilitates the degradation of MAZ via the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway. Notably, Caly demonstrates efficacy in reducing the growth of renal cell carcinoma xenograft tumors in vivo. Our findings indicate that Caly suppresses the proliferation, metastasis, and progression of renal cell carcinoma through its action on the MAZ/HAS2 signaling pathway. Thus, Caly represents a promising therapeutic candidate for the treatment of renal cell carcinoma.

BACKGROUND: Venous thromboembolism (VTE) is one of the most common and serious complications of cesarean section in parturients. Norepinephrine (NE) has been shown to activate coagulation. The aim of this study was to compare the effect of a fixed-rate prophylactic norepinephrine infusion and a fixed-rate prophylactic phenylephrine(PHE) infusion under spinal anesthesia for caesarean section on the prethrombotic response. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Sixty-six women undergoing cesarean section under spinal anesthesia were randomly assigned to the NE group or PHE group, starting simultaneously with the administration of the subarachnoid solution, a "study drug" solution containing either NE or PHE was pumped intravenously at a constant rate of 15 ml/h until the end of the operation. Plasma coagulation factor VIII activity (FVIII: C), Fibrinogen, and D-dimer levels were measured in blood samples obtained on admission to the operating theatre and at the end of the procedure. RESULTS: Compared with preoperative levels, there were no significant differences in postoperative fibrinogen and D-dimer levels in the NE group, except for a decrease in FVIII: C levels (P = 0.003). However, postoperative levels of FVIII: C (P = 0.009), fibrinogen (P = 0.035) and D-dimer (P = 0.025) were increased in the NE group compared with postoperative levels in the PHE group. CONCLUSIONS: NE does not affect the maternal prethrombotic response and can be safely used in cesarean sections. Compared with PHE infusion, NE infusion increased the level of coagulation molecules, suggesting that NE maybe more beneficial for women with high intraoperative bleeding requiring hemostasis.

Background: Posterior fossa craniotomy is commonly performed for various pathologies. However, intra-cranial infection following craniotomy causes morbidity. Pseudomeningocele is one of the main complications following posterior fossa operation. This study aimed to test the hypothesis that the risk of intra-cranial infection is increased in patients who undergo posterior fossa craniotomy with pseudomeningocele compared with those without pseudomeningocele. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the data of patients undergoing posterior fossa craniotomy for the management of neurological pathologies at our institute from 2011 to 2020. A total of 308 craniotomies were included, and the primary outcome of interest was the occurrence of intra-cranial infection. Standard statistical methods were used to explore associations between several parameters, including pseudomeningocele, intra-cranial infection, and wound leak. Results: Of the 308 craniotomies, 41 (13.3%) developed intra-cranial infection and 59 (19.2%) involved pseudomeningocele. Of cases involving pseudomeningocele, 27 (45.8%) developed an intra-cranial infection compared with only 14 of 249 without pseudomeningocele (5.6%; p < 0.001). In the multi-variable analysis, pseudomeningocele was associated with intra-cranial infection (odds ratio [OR] 8.56; 95% confidence interval [CI] 3.145-23.299; p < 0.001) and wound leak (OR 91.339; 95% CI 10.437-799.364; p < 0.001). Conclusion: The findings indicate that patients undergoing posterior fossa craniotomy are at a greater risk of intra-cranial infection if there is pseudomeningocele after the operation.

To detect and analyze the changes of microorganisms in expressed prostatic secretion (EPS) of patients with IIIB prostatitis before and after low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) treatment, and to explore the mechanism of LIPUS in the treatment of chronic prostatitis (CP). 25 patients (study power was estimated using a Dirichlet-multinomial approach and reached 96.5% at α = 0.05 using a sample size of 25) with IIIB prostatitis who were effective in LIPUS treatment were divided into two groups before and after LIPUS treatment. High throughput second-generation sequencing technique was used to detect and analyze the relative abundance of bacterial 16 s ribosomal variable regions in EPS before and after treatment. The data were analyzed by bioinformatics software and database, and differences with P < 0.05 were considered statistically significant. Beta diversity analysis showed that there was a significant difference between groups (P = 0.046). LEfSe detected four kinds of characteristic microorganisms in the EPS of patients with IIIB prostatitis before and after LIPUS treatment. After multiple comparisons among groups by DESeq2 method, six different microorganisms were found. LIPUS may improve patients' clinical symptoms by changing the flora structure of EPS, stabilizing and affecting resident bacteria or opportunistic pathogens.

CD320, which is a transmembrane protein responsible for facilitating the absorption of vitamin B12, plays a key role in this process. However, the relationships between CD320 and immune cell infiltration levels remain unclear, with limited studies investigating the diagnostic and prognostic significance of CD320 in hepatocellular carcinoma. We used various databases, including the TIMER, GEPIA, UALCAN and TCGA databases to investigate the expression levels of CD320 in hepatocellular carcinoma. Subsequently, we analyzed the prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma patients with different expression levels of CD320. Furthermore, we also performed Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence analyses to validate the results of the database analysis. Finally, the functions of CD320 in hepatocellular carcinoma were also confirmed via relevant cell experiments and angiogenesis assays. We found that CD320 expression was significantly upregulated in tumor vascular endothelial cells. Moreover, the knockdown of CD320 led to a reduction in angiogenesis in endothelial cells. Increased expression of CD320 was also correlated with a poor prognosis in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma, which suggested that CD320 may be a potential prognostic marker. Finally, TIMER analysis demonstrated that the infiltration of six immune cell types was significantly associated with high expression levels of CD320 in hepatocellular carcinoma. Herein, we demonstrated that CD320 may play an important role in angiogenesis in hepatocellular carcinoma. These findings suggested that CD320 may be a potential clinical prognostic marker and immunotherapy target for hepatocellular carcinoma.

BACKGROUND: Norepinephrine and phenylephrine are commonly used vasoactive drugs to treat hypotension during the perioperative period. The increased release of endogenous norepinephrine elicits prothrombotic changes, while parturients are generally in a hypercoagulable state. Therefore, this trial aims to investigate whether there is a disparity between equivalent doses of prophylactic norepinephrine infusion and phenylephrine infusion on prothrombotic response in patients undergoing cesarean section under spinal anesthesia. METHODS: Sixty-six eligible parturients will be recruited for this trial and randomly assigned to the norepinephrine or phenylephrine group. The "study drug" will be administered at a rate of 15 ml/h starting from the intrathecal injection. The primary outcome are plasma coagulation factor VIII activity (FVIII: C), fibrinogen, and D-dimer levels. The secondary outcomes include hemodynamic variables and umbilical artery blood pH value. DISCUSSION: Our study is the first trial comparing the effect of norepinephrine and phenylephrine on prothrombotic response in patients undergoing cesarean section under spinal anesthesia. Positive or negative results will all help us better understand the impact of vasoactive drugs on patients. If there are any differences, this trial will provide new evidence for maternal choice of vasoactive medications in the perioperative period. BACKGROUND: The caudate lobe (S1) of the liver, due to its deep central position, presents a formidable challenge for laparoscopic resection. Historical skepticism about laparoscopic approaches has been overshadowed by advancements in technology and technique, with recent studies showing comparable outcomes to open surgery. METHODS: This paper introduces the "Easy First" technique and the Sextet strategies for laparoscopic hepatic caudate lobectomy. The strategies include meticulous preoperative planning, optimal trocar placement, and team positioning, tailored to the anatomical complexities of the caudate lobe. RESULTS: With a 0% conversion and mortality rate, our series demonstrates the safety of the "Easy First" technique. The Sextet strategies have been instrumental in navigating the technical challenges, emphasizing the importance of patient selection and surgeon expertise. CONCLUSION: The "Easy First" technique, with its structured approach and the Sextet strategies, offers a replicable method for laparoscopic caudate lobectomy. It underscores the need for stringent patient selection, advanced technical skill, and high-volume center expertise to ensure procedural success and patient safety.

BACKGROUND AND AIM: Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play an important role in tumor progression, including in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) induced by hepatitis B virus (HBV). Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the role of LINC02532 in HCC, mainly for diagnostic prognostic value and cellular function, as well as mechanistic aspects. METHODS: Initially, GEO and VirBase databases were used to screen for aberrant lncRNAs in HBV-HCC.Then, HBV-HCC persons followed up in our center were retrospectively studied to investigate the diagnostic, prognostic value of LINC02532 in HBV-HCC. Subsequently, the role of LINC02532 in HBV-HCC was measured using cellular function assay methods and possible mechanisms were analyzed in conjunction with bioinformatic predictive science. RESULTS: LINC02532 was a lncRNA abnormally expressed in HBV-HCC. LINC02532 was significantly up-regulated in the expression level in HBV-HCC tissues compared with normal tissues from patients. Moreover, LINC02532 could distinguish HBV-HCC and predict the prognosis of HBV-HCC. In vitro experiments showed that LINC02532 could regulate miR-455-3p and promote the malignant characterization of HBV-HCC cells. CHEK2 was a target gene of miR-455-3p. CONCLUSIONS: The prognosis and diagnosis of HBV-HCC can rely on the expression of LINC02532. LINC02532 was important for further progression of HBV-HCC, by moderating miR-455-3p/CHEK2.
