[The application of UHF therapy for the prevention of complications of specific antiblastoma therapy in the patients presenting with III-IV stage lung cancer].

One of the complications of specific antiblastoma therapy in the patients presenting with malignant neoplasms is the suppressed functional activity of blood neutrophil granulocytes. The results of clinical and experimental investigations suggest the enhanced enzymatic activity of neutrophils and lymphocytes under effect of ultrahigh-frequency electromagnetic radiation (UHF EMR). Our study has demonstrated that UHF EMR with a frequency selected on an individual basis in the range from 59 to 63 GHz exerts the protective action on the function and metabolism of blood neutrophils exposed to the damaging action of gamma-radiation in the patients presenting with lung cancer. Moreover, it allows the severity of local and systemic complications of specific antiblastoma chemo- and radiotherapy in these patients to be reduced.

[Efficiency of short courses of physiotherapy with the use of energy metabolism regulators in patients with dorsopathy].

The assessment of procedure tolerance, their efficiency at shortening of courses of dorsopathies physiotherapy to 12-14 days made possible to detect presence of unfavorable reactions to treatment in 32% of cases. Regulator of energy metabolism, included in the therapy, assists to good tolerance to shortened courses of dorsopathy rehabilitation (frequency of presence and expression degree of reaction to treatment reduced to 15%), stabilization of energy system in patients' organism, absence of hyper activation and stress of adaptive mechanisms, maintenance of compensatory abilities reserves.

[Nondrug treatment for opisthorchiasis].

In vitro experimental studies of the antiopisthorchiasis properties of currently available non-drug treatment are ofgreat practical value. The studies demonstrated that the herbal drug ecorsol and the background resonance radiation of the Opisthorchis spectrum exerted an anti-helminthic effect that was evaluated by the marital death and amounted to 83.6 to 96.4%. The experimental studies provided evidence that the background radiation, by using the electromagnetic spectrum of Opisthorchis, had a sufficient helminthocidal effect on mature Opisthorchis felineus in the in vitro experiment, which allows these means to be recommended for the non-drug treatment of chronic opisthorchiasis.

Patients with borreliosis caused by exodic tick infestation running with affection of the nervous system were exposed to scanning EHF-therapy (59-63 GHz) on biologically active zones of the upper third of the chest, right brachial joint, biologically active points GI4, E36. Also, they took radon baths. The treatment was planned with consideration of the principles of chronotherapy. This therapeutic approach produced stimulation of general adaptive reactions and reparative processes in the peripheral nervous system.

73 patients with compression-ischemic myeloradiculopathy received treatment including infrared laser radiation on the paravertebral fields, motor points of the affected nerves and biologically active points Y63, Y67, YB34, YB42, YB43, E34, E42 (1.0-5.0 mW/cm2; 5 and 5000 Hz), electrostimulation of motor nerve points and innervated by them muscles by double square impulses with a fixed gap 5 ms. Impulse infrared laser therapy relieves pain syndrome, stimulates repair processes in the affected nerve structures. Further modified electric stimulation activates a regenerative growth of the nerve fibers, reinnervation of the limb muscles.

Millimeter waves in the treatment of neurological manifestations of vertebral osteochondrosis.

A new millimeter-wave therapeutic technique, which combines pulsed electromagnetic radiation with noise, was developed. This technique produces analgesic and trophic effects, and it also produces an effect on the functional activity of electrically excitable regions of nerve fibers. It can therefore be employed for treating affected nerves and muscles. In this case it is better to begin treatment with optic red and infrared radiation on the reflexogenic zones and muscular consolidations for reduction of trophic abnormalities. This creates favourable conditions for subsequent vibrostimulation of affected nerves and muscles.

This suggests a conclusion that indications to physiotherapy of spinal osteochondrosis can be extended and cover also acute osteochondrosis, that new complexes of physiopeloid therapy may be designed with minimal risk of balneoreactions.
