RESUMO

In this study, we investigated the role of LINC00520 in colorectal cancer (CRC) progression. We analyzed LINC00520 expression in 15 pairs of CRC tissues and adjacent tissues using qRT-PCR, revealing significantly elevated levels in CRC tissues and cell lines. Lentivirus-mediated up/down-regulation of LINC00520 in CRC cell lines demonstrated that increased LINC00520 expression enhanced cell invasiveness, as confirmed by transwell and wound healing assays. Bioinformatics analysis identified a regulatory axis involving LINC00520, microRNA-195-3p, and NAT2. Luciferase assays confirmed direct binding between LINC00520 and microRNA-195-3p, as well as microRNA-195-3p and NAT2. Overexpression of NAT2 reversed the inhibitory effects on invasion and migration induced by LINC00520 silencing. This suggests that LINC00520, highly expressed in CRC tissues, may modulate tumor biological functions through the microRNA-195-3p/NAT2 axis. Our findings provide insights into the mechanism underlying CRC progression, highlighting the potential of LINC00520 as a therapeutic target.

BACKGROUND: Previous studies implied that local M2 polarization of macrophage promoted mucosal edema and exacerbated TH2 type inflammation in chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP). However, the specific pathogenic role of M2 macrophages and the intrinsic regulators in the development of CRS remains elusive. OBJECTIVE: We sought to investigate the regulatory role of SIRT5 in the polarization of M2 macrophages and its potential contribution to the development of CRSwNP. METHODS: Real-time reverse transcription-quantitative PCR and Western blot analyses were performed to examine the expression levels of SIRT5 and markers of M2 macrophages in sinonasal mucosa samples obtained from both CRS and control groups. Wild-type and Sirt5-knockout mice were used to establish a nasal polyp model with TH2 inflammation and to investigate the effects of SIRT5 in macrophage on disease development. Furthermore, in vitro experiments were conducted to elucidate the regulatory role of SIRT5 in polarization of M2 macrophages. RESULTS: Clinical investigations showed that SIRT5 was highly expressed and positively correlated with M2 macrophage markers in eosinophilic polyps. The expression of SIRT5 in M2 macrophages was found to contribute to the development of the disease, which was impaired in Sirt5-deficient mice. Mechanistically, SIRT5 was shown to enhance the alternative polarization of macrophages by promoting glutaminolysis. CONCLUSIONS: SIRT5 plays a crucial role in promoting the development of CRSwNP by supporting alternative polarization of macrophages, thus providing a potential target for CRSwNP interventions.

Objective: We compared the effects of early and delayed rehabilitation on the function of patients after rotator cuff repair by meta-analysis to find effective interventions to promote the recovery of shoulder function. Methods: This meta-analysis was registered in PROSPERO (CRD42023466122). We manually searched the randomized controlled trials (RCTs) in the Cochrane Library, Pubmed, Cochrane Library, EMBASE, the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), the China VIP Database (VIP), and the Wanfang Database to evaluate the effect of early and delayed rehabilitation after arthroscopic shoulder cuff surgery on the recovery of shoulder joint function. Review Manager 5.3 software was used to analyze the extracted data. Then, the PEDro scale was employed to appraise the methodological quality of the included research. Results: This research comprised nine RCTs and 830 patients with rotator cuff injuries. According to the findings of the meta-analysis, there was no discernible difference between the early rehabilitation group and the delayed rehabilitation group at six and twelve months after the surgery in terms of the VAS score, SST score, follow-up rotator cuff healing rate, and the rotator cuff retear rate at the final follow-up. There was no difference in the ASES score between the early and delayed rehabilitation groups six months after the operation. However, although the ASES score in the early rehabilitation group differed significantly from that in the delayed rehabilitation group twelve months after the operation, according to the analysis of the minimal clinically important difference (MCID), the results have no clinical significance. Conclusions: The improvement in shoulder function following arthroscopic rotator cuff surgery does not differ clinically between early and delayed rehabilitation. When implementing rehabilitation following rotator cuff repair, it is essential to consider the paradoxes surrounding shoulder range of motion and tendon anatomic healing. A program that allows for flexible progression based on the patient's ability to meet predetermined clinical goals or criteria may be a better option.

The integration of HPV DNA into human chromosomes plays a pivotal role in the onset of papillomavirus-related cancers. HPV DNA integration often occurs by linearizing the viral DNA in the E1/E2 region, resulting in the loss of a critical viral early polyadenylation signal (PAS), which is essential for the polyadenylation of the E6E7 bicistronic transcripts and for the expression of the viral E6 and E7 oncogenes. Here, we provide compelling evidence that, despite the presence of numerous integrated viral DNA copies, virus-host fusion transcripts originate from only a single integrated HPV DNA in HPV16 and HPV18 cervical cancers and cervical cancer-derived cell lines. The host genomic elements neighboring the integrated HPV DNA are critical for the efficient expression of the viral oncogenes that leads to clonal cell expansion. The fusion RNAs that are produced use a host RNA polyadenylation signal downstream of the integration site, and almost all involve splicing to host sequences. In cell culture, siRNAs specifically targeting the host portion of the virus-host fusion transcripts effectively silenced viral E6 and E7 expression. This, in turn, inhibited cell growth and promoted cell senescence in HPV16+ CaSki and HPV18+ HeLa cells. Showing that HPV E6 and E7 expression from a single integration site is instrumental in clonal cell expansion sheds new light on the mechanisms of HPV-induced carcinogenesis and could be used for the development of precision medicine tailored to combat HPV-related malignancies. IMPORTANCE: Persistent oncogenic HPV infections lead to viral DNA integration into the human genome and the development of cervical, anogenital, and oropharyngeal cancers. The expression of the viral E6 and E7 oncogenes plays a key role in cell transformation and tumorigenesis. However, how E6 and E7 could be expressed from the integrated viral DNA which often lacks a viral polyadenylation signal in the cancer cells remains unknown. By analyzing the integrated HPV DNA sites and expressed HPV RNAs in cervical cancer tissues and cell lines, we show that HPV oncogenes are expressed from only one of multiple chromosomal HPV DNA integrated copies. A host polyadenylation signal downstream of the integrated viral DNA is used for polyadenylation and stabilization of the virus-host chimeric RNAs, making the oncogenic transcripts targetable by siRNAs. This observation provides further understanding of the tumorigenic mechanism of HPV integration and suggests possible therapeutic strategies for the development of precision medicine for HPV cancers.

PURPOSE: Detecting tumor progression of glioma continues to pose a formidable challenge. The role of fibroblast activation protein (FAP) in gliomas has been demonstrated to facilitate tumor progression. Glioma-circulating biomarkers have not yet been used in clinical practice. This study seeks to evaluate the feasibility of glioma detection through the utilization of a serum FAP marker. METHODS: We adopted enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) technique to quantify the relative FAP level of serum autoantibodies in a cohort of 87 gliomas. The correlation between preoperative serum autoantibody relative FAP levels and postoperative pathology, including molecular pathology was investigated. A series of FAP tests were conducted on 33 cases of malignant gliomas in order to ascertain their efficacy in monitoring the progression of the disease in relation to imaging observations. To validate the presence of FAP expression in tumors, immunohistochemistry was conducted on four gliomas employing a FAP-specific antibody. Additionally, the investigation encompassed the correlation between postoperative tumor burden, as assessed through volumetric analysis, and the relative FAP level of serum autoantibodies. RESULTS: A considerable proportion of gliomas exhibited a significantly increased level of serum autoantibody relative FAP level. This elevation was closely associated with both histopathology and molecular pathology, and demonstrated longitudinal fluctuations and variations corresponding to the progression of the disease The correlation between the rise in serum autoantibody relative FAP level and tumor progression and/or exacerbation of symptoms was observed. CONCLUSIONS: The measurement of serum autoantibody relative FAP level can be used to detect the disease as a valuable biomarker. The combined utilization of its detection alongside MR imaging has the potential to facilitate a more accurate and prompt diagnosis.

The biological clock system is an intrinsic timekeeping device that integrates internal physiology and external cues. Maintaining a healthy biological clock system is crucial for life. Disruptions to the body's internal clock can lead to disturbances in the sleep-wake cycle and abnormalities in hormone regulation, blood pressure, heart rate, and other vital processes. Long-term disturbances have been linked to the development of various common major diseases, including cardiovascular diseases, metabolic disorders, tumors, neuropsychiatric conditions, and so on. External factors, such as the diurnal rhythm of light, have a significant impact on the body's internal clock. Additionally, as an important non-photic zeitgeber, exercise can regulate the body's internal rhythms to a certain extent, making it possible to become a non-drug intervention for preventing and treating circadian rhythm disorders. This comprehensive review encompasses behavioral, physiological, and molecular perspectives to provide a deeper understanding of how exercise influences circadian rhythms and its association with related diseases.

Objectives During craniotomy for cerebellopontine angle (CPA) lesions, the exact exposure of the margin of the venous sinuses complex remains an essential but risky part of the procedure. Here, we revealed the exact position of the asterion and sinus complex by combining preoperative image information and intraoperative cranial landmarks, and analyzed their clinic-image relationship. Methods Ninety-four patients who underwent removal of vestibular schwannoma (VS) through retrosigmoid craniotomies were enrolled in the series. To determine the exact location of the sigmoid sinus and the transverse sinus and sigmoid sinus junction (TSSJ), we used preoperative images, such as computed tomography (CT) and/or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) combined with intraoperative anatomical landmarks. The distance between the asterion and the sigmoid sinus was measured using MRI T1 sequences with gadolinium and/or the CT bone window. Results In 94 cases of retrosigmoid craniotomies, the asterion lay an average of 12.71 mm on the posterior to the body surface projection to the TSSJ. Intraoperative cranial surface landmarks were used in combination with preoperative image information to identify the distance from the asterion to the sigmoid sinus at the transverse sinus level, allowing for an appropriate initial burr hole (the margin of the TSSJ). Conclusion By combining intraoperative anatomical landmarks and preoperative image information, the margin of the TSSJ, in particular, the inferior margin of the transverse sinus, can be well and thoroughly identified in the retrosigmoid approach.

OBJECTIVE: To compare examination time and image quality between artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted compressed sensing (ACS) technique and parallel imaging (PI) technique in MRI of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). METHODS: Sixty-six patients with pathologically confirmed NPC underwent nasopharynx and neck examination using a 3.0-T MRI system. Transverse T2-weighted fast spin-echo (FSE) sequence, transverse T1-weighted FSE sequence, post-contrast transverse T1-weighted FSE sequence, and post-contrast coronal T1-weighted FSE were obtained by both ACS and PI techniques, respectively. The signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR), and duration of scanning of both sets of images analyzed by ACS and PI techniques were compared. The images from the ACS and PI techniques were scored for lesion detection, margin sharpness of lesions, artifacts, and overall image quality using the 5-point Likert scale. RESULTS: The examination time with ACS technique was significantly shorter than that with PI technique (p < 0.0001). The comparison of SNR and CNR showed that ACS technique was significantly superior with PI technique (p < 0.005). Qualitative image analysis showed that the scores of lesion detection, margin sharpness of lesions, artifacts, and overall image quality were higher in the ACS sequences than those in the PI sequences (p < 0.0001). Inter-observer agreement was evaluated for all qualitative indicators for each method, in which the results showed satisfactory-to-excellent agreement (p < 0.0001). CONCLUSION: Compared with the PI technique, the ACS technique for MR examination of NPC can not only shorten scanning time but also improve image quality. CLINICAL RELEVANCE STATEMENT: The artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted compressed sensing (ACS) technique shortens examination time for patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma, while improving the image quality and examination success rate, which will benefit more patients. KEY POINTS: • Compared with the parallel imaging (PI) technique, the artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted compressed sensing (ACS) technique not only reduced examination time, but also improved image quality. • Artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted compressed sensing (ACS) pulls the state-of-the-art deep learning technique into the reconstruction procedure and helps find an optimal balance of imaging speed and image quality.

Hypopharyngeal cancer (HPC) is a rare disease. Therefore, it is a challenge to automatically segment HPC tumors and metastatic lymph nodes (HPC risk areas) from medical images with the small-scale dataset. Combining low-level details and high-level semantics from feature maps in different scales can improve the accuracy of segmentation. Herein, we propose a Multi-Modality Transfer Learning Network with Hybrid Bilateral Encoder (Twist-Net) for Hypopharyngeal Cancer Segmentation. Specifically, we propose a Bilateral Transition (BT) block and a Bilateral Gather (BG) block to twist (fuse) high-level semantic feature maps and low-level detailed feature maps. We design a block with multi-receptive field extraction capabilities, M Block, to capture multi-scale information. To avoid overfitting caused by the small scale of the dataset, we propose a transfer learning method that can transfer priors experience from large computer vision datasets to multi-modality medical imaging datasets. Compared with other methods, our method outperforms other methods on HPC dataset, achieving the highest Dice of 82.98%. Our method is also superior to other methods on two public medical segmentation datasets, i.e., the CHASE_DB1 dataset and BraTS2018 dataset. On these two datasets, the Dice of our method is 79.83% and 84.87%, respectively. The code is available at: https://github.com/zhongqiu1245/TwistNet.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a common diagnostic method for hypopharyngeal cancer (HPC). It is a challenge to automatically detect HPC tumors and swollen lymph nodes (HPC risk areas) from MRI slices because of the small size and irregular shape of HPC risk areas. Herein, we propose a cascade detection network with Convolution Kernel Switch (CKS) Block and Statistics Optimal Anchors (SOA) Block in HPC MRI (CCS-Net). CKS Block can adaptively switch standard convolution to deformable convolution in some appropriate layers to detect irregular objects more efficiently without taking up too much computing resources. SOA Block can automatically generate the optimal anchors based on the size distribution of objects. Compared with other methods, our method achieves splendid detection performance and outperforms other methods on the HPC dataset (more than 1800 T2 MRI slices), achieving the highest AP50 of 78.90%. Experiments show that the proposed network can be the basis of a computer aided diagnosis utility that helps achieve faster and more accurate diagnostic decisions for HPC.

ETHNOPHARMACOLOGICAL RELEVANCE: Fufang E'jiao Jiang (FEJ) is a prominent traditional Chinese medicine prescription, which consists of Asini Corii Colla (Donkey-hide gelatin prepared by stewing and concentrating from the hide of Equus asinus Linnaeus., ACC), Codonopsis Radix (the dried roots of Codonopsis pilosula (Franch.) Nannf., CR), Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma Rubra (the steamed and dried root of Panax ginseng C.A. Mey., GRR), Crataegi Fructus (the mature fruits of Crataegus pinnatifida Bunge., CF), and Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata (the steamed and sun dried tuber of Rehmannia glutinosa (Gaertn.) Libosch. ex Fisch. & C.A. Mey., RRP). It is a popularly used prescription for "nourishing Qi and nourishing blood". AIM OF THE STUDY: To explore the potential mechanism of FEJ on precancerous lesion of gastric cancer in rats by combining network pharmacology and metabolomics. METHODS: Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology and Bioinformatics Analysis Tool for Molecular mechanism of Traditional Chinese Medicine were used to identify the ingredients and potential targets of FEJ. GeneCards database was used to define PLGC-associated targets. We built a herb-component-disease-target network and analyzed the protein-protein interaction network. Underlying mechanisms were identified using Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway enrichment analysis. In addition, 40% ethanol, N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitroguanidine and irregular eating were used to establish PLGC rats model. We also evaluated the efficacy of FEJ on MNNG-induced PLGC rats by body weight, histopathology, blood routine and cytokine levels, while the predicted pathway was determined by the Western blot. Ultra-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry-based serum non-targeted metabolomics was used to select potential biomarkers and relevant pathways for FEJ in the treatment of PLGC. RESULTS: Network pharmacology showed that FEJ exhibited anti-PLGC effects through regulating ALB, TNF, VEGFA, TP53, AKT1 and other targets, and the potential pathways mainly involved cancer-related, TNF, PI3K-AKT, HIF-1, and other signaling pathways. Animal experiments illustrated that FEJ could suppress inflammation, regulate gastrointestinal hormones, and inhibit the expression of PI3K/AKT/HIF-1α pathway-related proteins. Based on serum non-targeted metabolomics analysis, 12 differential metabolites responding to FEJ treatment were identified, and metabolic pathway analysis showed that the role of FEJ was concentrated in 6 metabolic pathways. CONCLUSION: Based on network pharmacology, animal experiments and metabolomics, we found that FEJ might ameliorate gastric mucosal injury in PLGC rats by regulating gastrointestinal hormones and inhibiting inflammation, and its mechanism of action is related to the inhibition of excessive activation of PI3K/AKT/HIF-1α signaling pathway and regulation of disorders of body energy metabolism. This comprehensive strategy also provided a reasonable way for unveiling the pharmacodynamic mechanisms of multi-components, multi-targets, and multi-pathways in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Introduction: Kashin-Beck Disease (KBD) is an endemic disease predominantly affecting joint and skeletal muscle, predisposing the articular cartilage to degeneration and necrosis. Currently,staged total hip arthroplasty is a common surgical method for advanced femoral head necrosis from KBD, but there are no reports in the literature on simultaneous bilateral total hip arthroplasty (SB-THA) for patients with KBD. Case presentation: A 42-year-old male from Shaanxi Province, an endemic area, had bilateral hip pain for 4 years, with hips inversion and a crossed gait. After preoperative preparation, a SB-THA was performed by a posterolateral approach. Postoperative medication and functional exercises were administered and the patient was followed up for at least 3 years after discharge. The patient's hip mobility, hip scores and quality of life scores were recorded in detail during the follow-up. Result: The patient stopped antibiotic treatment on the postoperative day-2, and all inflammatory indicators showed normal and started appropriate exercise, and the pain score decreased significantly. On the postoperative day-7, the patient had gradually adapted to various forms of rehabilitation exercises. He was discharged from the hospital on the postoperative day-10 and continued to be followed up. From the preoperative period to the last follow-up, the patient's bilateral hip mobility and functional scores improved significantly, and no adverse events such as hip pain, prosthesis loosening or dislocation were found at the last follow-up. Conclusion: The patient's performance was satisfactory both intraoperatively and in the early postoperative period, but the hip scores and quality of life scores began to plateau or even decline from the third year after surgery to the last follow-up, probably due to the influence of further damage to articular cartilage in other parts of the body.

Donkey-hide gelatin, also called Ejiao (colla corii asini), is commonly used as a food health supplement and valuable Chinese medicine. Its growing popular demand and short supply make it a target for fraud, and many other animal gelatins can be found as adulterants. Authentication remains a quality concern. Peptide markers were developed by searching the protein database. However, donkeys and horses share the same database, and there is no specific marker for donkeys. Here, solutions are sought following a database-independent strategy. The peptide profiles of authentic samples of different animal gelatins were compared using LC-QTOF-MS/MS. Fourteen specific markers, including four donkey-specific, one horse-specific, three cattle-specific, and six pig-specific peptides, were successfully found. As these donkey-specific peptides are not included in the current proteomics database, their sequences were determined by de novo sequencing. A quantitative LC-QQQ multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) method was further developed to achieve highly sensitive and selective analysis. The specificity and applicability of these markers were confirmed by testing multiple authentic samples and 110 batches of commercial Ejiao products, 57 of which were found to be unqualified. These results suggest that these markers are specific and accurate for authentication purposes.

RESUMO

Herein, we describe a nickel-catalyzed reductive deaminative arylalkylation of tethered alkenes with pyridinium salts as C(sp3) electrophiles. This two-component dicarbofunctionalization reaction enables the efficient synthesis of various benzene-fused cyclic compounds bearing all-carbon quaternary centers. The approach presented in this paper proceeds under mild conditions, tolerating a wide variety of functional groups and heterocycles. It has been used to functionalize complicated molecules at a late stage.

Pepino (Solanum muricatum, 2n = 2x = 24), a member of the Solanaceae family, is an important globally grown fruit. Herein, we report high-quality, chromosome-level pepino genomes. The 91.67% genome sequence is anchored to 12 chromosomes, with a total length of 1.20 Gb and scaffold N50 of 87.03 Mb. More than half the genome comprises repetitive sequences. In addition to the shared ancient whole-genome triplication (WGT) event in eudicots, an additional new WGT event was present in the pepino. Our findings suggest that pepinos experienced chromosome rearrangements, fusions, and gene loss after a WGT event. The large number of gene removals indicated the instability of Solanaceae genomes, providing opportunities for species divergence and natural selection. The paucity of disease-resistance genes (NBS) in pepino and eggplant has been explained by extensive loss and limited generation of genes after WGT events in Solanaceae. The outbreak of NBS genes was not synchronized in Solanaceae species, which occurred before the Solanaceae WGT event in pepino, tomato, and tobacco, whereas it was almost synchronized with WGT events in the other four Solanaceae species. Transcriptome and comparative genomic analyses revealed several key genes involved in anthocyanin biosynthesis. Although an extra WGT event occurred in Solanaceae, CHS genes related to anthocyanin biosynthesis in grapes were still significantly expanded compared with those in Solanaceae species. Proximal and tandem duplications contributed to the expansion of CHS genes. In conclusion, the pepino genome and annotation facilitate further research into important gene functions and comparative genomic analysis in Solanaceae.

As a reversible modification, N6-methyladenosine (m6A) plays key roles in series of biological processes. Although it has been found that m6A modification is regulated by writers, erasers and readers, their evolutionary processes are still not clearly and systematically described. In the present work, we identified 1592 m6A modification regulators from 65 representative plant species and performed the phylogenetic relationships, sequence structure, selection pressure, and codon usage analysis across species. The regulators from different species or subfamilies were distinguishable based on the phylogenetic trees. Although the gene structure was structurally and functionally conserved for each kind of regulators, the unique exon/intron structures and motif organizations were observed among different families. The selection pressure analysis demonstrated that the regulators experienced purifying selection. Interestingly, the selection pressure for the regulators in higher plants was more relaxed, indicating that they might have acquired new functions during evolution. In addition, the different codon usage preferences were observed for the different kinds of m6A modification regulators. These results will not only facilitate our understanding of the evolution of m6A regulators, but also shed light on how the evolutionary differences affect their functional divergence.

We hypothesized that neural EGFL like 1 (NELL1) promoter hypermethylation might be associated with the prognosis of gastric cancer. Some studies considered NELL1 as a tumor suppressor gene and our research confirmed for the first time the hypermethylation in the promoter region of NELL1 by the application of mass spectrometry. Promoter hypermethylation can cause the silencing of tumor suppressor genes and promote tumor progression. Based on present studies and research results, we proposed that NELL1 promoter hypermethylation might be associated with cancer staging and the survival of gastric cancer patients and had prognostic value. We hoped that NELL1 promoter hypermethylation would be applied not only for early detection but also prognosis prediction of gastric cancer and would become a new prognostic biomarker.

Highly expressed enhancer of zeste homolog 2 (EZH2) has been associated with many kinds of cancers and other diseases, while its functional role in asthma is largely unknown. In our study, we investigated the molecular mechanism of EZH2 in the development of asthma. An ovalbumin-induced mouse asthma model was established, followed by injection of short hairpin RNA (sh)-EZH2, overexpression-B-cell translocation gene 2 (oe-BTG2), microRNA (miR)-34b agomir as well as their corresponding controls. Next, primary bronchial epithelial cells were isolated and cultured, followed by treatment of oe-FOXO3, miR-34b inhibitor, sh-EZH2, oe-BTG2, and corresponding controls. The effects of EZH2 on inflammation were evaluated by determining levels of inflammatory factors interleukin (IL)-4, IL-5, IL-13, IL-17, and protein levels of transforming growth factor ß, matrix metalloproteinase-9, and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases-1. The interactions between EZH2 and forkhead box O3 (FOXO3), between FOXO3 and miR-34b promoter, and between miR-34b and BTG2 were analyzed by conducting dual-luciferase reporter and chromatin immunoprecipitation assays. Notably, EZH2 and BTG2 were significantly overexpressed, while FOXO3 and miR-34b were obviously underexpressed in asthma. EZH2 silencing led to inhibited inflammation though upregulation of FOXO3, which could bind to the miR-34b promoter and facilitate its expression. In turn, miR-34b reduced BTG2 expression by targeting its 3'untranslated region. Our study provides evidence that EZH2 promotes asthma progression by regulating the FOXO3-miR-34b-BTG2 axis.
