RESUMO

Radioresistance is increasingly developed in esophageal cancer. Increasing radiation sensitivity can reduce the mortality of esophageal cancer. To investigate the effect and mechanism of ozone on the radiotherapy sensitization of esophageal carcinoma. KYSE150 cells were xenografted subcutaneously into nude mice and irradiated with 8 Gy radiation according to different subgroups (sham, radiation, ozone and radiation+ozone group (n = 10 per group)). Half of the mice were used to determine the body weight, tumor size and tumor weight. Half of the mice were used to collect peripheral blood. The serum was centrifuged to detect circulating cell-free DNA (cf-DNA), interleukin-6 (IL-6), interferon-γ (IFN-γ), myeloperoxidase (MPO)-DNA complexes, tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) and hypoxia-inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α) using commercial kits. The levels of phosphorylation AMP-activated protein kinase (p-AMPK) and scavenger receptor-A (SR-A) were measured by immunocytochemistry and Western blotting in the tumor tissues of mice. Ozone alone or combined with radiation therapy significantly reduced the body weight, tumor volume and tumor weight of esophageal cancer compared to the sham group. The ELISA results showed that the levels of cf-DNA, IFN-γ, MPO-DNA complexes, TNF-α, IL-6, HIF-1α and MMP-9 in the peripheral blood of mice treated with ozone combined with radiation were significantly lower compared with the radiation group. Ozone, synergistically with radiation, significantly increased the protein expression of p-AMPK and SR-A. Ozone may increase the radiosensitivity of esophageal cancer by inhibiting neutrophil extracellular traps.

BACKGROUND: Traditional bandages, gauze, and cotton balls are increasingly insufficient for addressing complex war injuries characterized by severe bleeding and diverse wound conditions. The giant salamander, a species of high medical value, secretes a unique mucus when stimulated, which has potential applications in wound care. MATERIALS: Giant salamander skin mucus gel dressing wrapped with bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs-GSSM-gel) was prepared and validated. Skin wound injury of rabbit and mouse models were established. Hematoxylin and Eosin, Masson's trichrome, and Sirius red staining were performed. The platelet aggregation rate and coagulation items were measured. Transcriptome sequencing was performed to find potential differential expression genes. RESULTS: Preparation and characterization of BMSCs-GSSM-gel were performed, and BMSCs-GSSM-gel particles with a diameter of about 200 nm were obtained. BMSCs-GSSM-gel accelerated wound healing in both rabbit and mouse models. BMSCs-GSSM-gel significantly promoted hemostasis via increasing platelet aggregation rate and fibrinogen, but decreasing activated partial thromboplastin time, thrombin time, and prothrombin time. BMSCs-GSSM-gel treatment significantly impacted several genes associated with cell adhesion, inflammatory response, collagen-containing extracellular matrix, and the positive regulation of cell migration based on Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analysis. Integrin Subunit Beta 4 (ITGB4), Integrin Subunit Alpha 3 (ITGA3), and Laminin Subunit Beta 3 (LAMB3) might be involved in the wound healing process by BMSCs-GSSM-gel. CONCLUSIONS: We proved the BMSCs-GSSM-gel greatly improved the skin wound healing, and it might play a crucial role in the application fields of skin damage repair.

OBJECTIVE: To compare the number of oocytes retrieved and clinical outcomes of ovulation induction in an older population treated with in vitro fertilization (IVF)/intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) (IVF/ICSI) using different rFSH options and the effectiveness of antagonist treatment to induce ovulation using gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonists (GnRH-a) in combination with an human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) trigger. METHODS: A total of 132 fresh cycles were selected for this study, which were treated with IVF/ICSI in our hospital from March 2022 to December 2022. Observations were made according to different subgroups and the effects of different triggering methods on the number of oocytes obtained, embryo quality, and clinical outcomes. RESULTS: The initial gonadotropin (Gn) dose, the number of oocytes, and the number of MII oocytes were higher in group A than in group B (p < .05), and the clinical pregnancy rate was 29.41% in group A. Group B had a clinical pregnancy rate of 27.5%. The double-trigger group was superior to the HCG-trigger group in terms of the number of 2PN, the number of viable embryos, and the number of high-quality embryos (p < .05). The use of a double-trigger regimen (OR = 0.667, 95%CI (0.375, 1.706), p = .024) was a protective factor for the clinical pregnancy rate, whereas AFC (OR = 0.925, 95%CI (0.867, 0.986), p = .017) was an independent factor for the clinical pregnancy rate. CONCLUSIONS: The use of a dual-trigger regimen of GnRH-a in combination with HCG using an appropriate antagonist improves pregnancy outcomes in fresh embryo transfer cycles in older patients.

Gold nanoclusters (AuNCs) are a class of novel luminescent nanomaterials that exhibit unique properties of ultra-small size, featuring strong anti-photo-bleaching ability, substantial Stokes shift, good biocompatibility, and low toxicity. Various biomolecules have been developed as templates or ligands to protect AuNCs with enhanced stability and luminescent properties for biomedical applications. In this review, the synthesis of AuNCs based on biomolecules including amino acids, peptides, proteins and DNA are summarized. Owing to the advantages of biomolecule-protected AuNCs, they have been employed extensively for diverse applications. The biological applications, particularly in bioimaging, biosensing, disease therapy and biocatalysis have been described in detail herein. Finally, current challenges and future potential prospects of bio-templated AuNCs in biological research are briefly discussed.

Interleukin 32 (IL32) is a pro-inflammatory cytokine that plays a key role in promoting sterile inflammation by modulating immune responses. However, the role of IL32 in various cancers remains unclear. This research aimed to investigate the correlation between IL32 expression and immunity and visualize its prognostic landscape in pan-cancer. We investigated gene expression, genomic alterations, and survival analysis of IL32 in pan-cancer in numerous databases including TCGA, GTEx, cBioPortal, and GDC databases. Tumor immune cell infiltration was assessed using the CIBERSORT computational method as well as the ESTIMATE method to analyze the correlation of IL32 expression with stromal and immune components. Protein-protein interaction analysis was performed in the STRING and GeneMANIA databases, and gene function enrichment was performed by GO set enrichment analysis. Tumor tissues had higher IL32 expression levels than normal tissues. Elevated IL32 expression was associated with poor OS and prognosis. In addition, tumor stemness, TMB, MSI, and immune checkpoint genes were also associated with IL32 expression. Correlations were observed between IL32 expression and B cell, CD4T cell, CD8T cell, neutrophil, macrophage, and DC infiltration in multiple cancers. GO enrichment analysis showed that IL32 expression was associated with cancer pathways, cytokine-receptor interactions, and NOD-like receptor signaling pathways. These findings suggest that IL32 may serve as a biomarker of cancer immune infiltration and poor prognosis, providing new therapeutic targets for cancer treatment.

Bimetallic coordination polymers (CPs) have two different metal ions as connecting nodes in their polymer structure. The synthesis methods of bimetallic CPs are mainly categorized into the one-pot method and post-synthesis modifications according to various needs. Compared with monometallic CPs, bimetallic CPs have synergistic effects and excellent properties, such as higher gas adsorption rate, more efficient catalytic properties, stronger luminescent properties, and more stable loading platforms, which have been widely applied in the fields of gas adsorption, catalysis, energy storage as well as conversion, and biosensing. In recent years, the study of bimetallic CPs synergized with cancer drugs and functional nanomaterials for the therapy of cancer has increasingly attracted the attention of scientists. This review presents the research progress of bimetallic CPs in biosensing and biomedicine in the last five years and provides a perspective for their future development.

Malignant ascites in hepatocellular carcinoma is usually a sign of advanced disease and poor prognosis and is also thought to be associated with chronic inflammation mediated by neutrophil extracellular trap (NET) networks. Although ozone, a strong oxidant, has significant antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects, its effectiveness in treating malignant liver ascites is unclear. We first measured the levels of NETs in the peripheral blood of patients with liver cancer and healthy individuals. Next, we constructed the H22 tumor-bearing mouse model and observed the abdominal girth, body weight, survival rate, and survival time in each group; we marked the proteins associated with NETs in mouse intestinal tissues by immunofluorescence; cf-DNA and cytokines in ascites such as: tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), interleukin 6 (IL-6), matrix metalloprotein 9 (MMP-9), and interferon gamma (IFN-γ) levels in ascites were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The expression levels of phosphorylated adenylate-activated protein kinase (P-AMPK) and scavenger receptor-A (SR-A) were detected by immunocytochemistry in the intestinal tissues of each group of mice. We further examined the expression of P-AMPK and SR-A proteins in ascites deposits by Western blotting. The results show, the plasma levels of NETs were higher in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma than in normal subjects (P < 0.01). Abdominal girth and body weight were significantly reduced in the ozone-treated group compared with the model group, while survival and survival time were dose dependently increased (both P < 0.05). NET-associated guanine histone H3 and myeloperoxidase were abundantly expressed at neutrophil aggregates in the intestinal tissues of the model mice, whereas their expression was significantly reduced in the ozone-treated group. The levels of cf-DNA, IL-6, IFN-γ, MMP-9, VEGF, and TNF-α were dose dependently increased in the ascites of H22 tumor-bearing mice in the ozone-treated group compared with the model group (all P < 0.01), while the expression of P-AMPK and SR-A proteins was increased in the ozone-treated group compared with the model group. Ozone showed significant antiperitoneal fluid production properties in H22 tumor-bearing mice, and ozone reduced peritoneal fluid production by activating AMPK and up-regulating SR-A phagocytosis damage-associated molecular patterns to reduce the production of NETs. This suggests that ozone could be used as a new drug for the treatment of malignant ascites in hepatocellular carcinoma.

Radiation enteritis is one of the main adverse effects of radiotherapy, presenting with a poorly understood etiology and limited options for therapy. Intestinal inflammation and ischemia are the core mechanisms of radiation enteritis. Suppressor of cytokine signaling 3 (SOCS3) is an endogenous "inflammation brake." We hypothesized that paeoniflorin, a pinane monoterpene bitter glycoside, could increase SOCS3 expression to reduce inflammation and ischemia and improve enteritis in mice. Laser Doppler flowmetry was used to detect changes in intestinal blood flow. RAW264.7 and human umbilical vein endothelial cells were used to investigate the mechanism of action of paeoniflorin. It was observed that radiation caused high mortality, intestinal inflammatory responses, and low blood flow in mice. Paeoniflorin effectively alleviated intestinal atrophy, prevented thrombosis, improved radiation enteritis, and reduced mortality in mice undergoing radiotherapy. In addition, paeoniflorin increased the release of growth arrest-specific gene 6 (Gas6) and phosphorylation of the Axl receptor, subsequently inducing the expression of SOCS3 and inhibiting the expression of p-apoptosis signal-regulating kinase 1 and tissue factor in vivo and in vitro. Based on our findings, we suggest that paeoniflorin is potentially effective in alleviating radiation enteritis via the activation of the Gas6/Axl/SOCS3 axis and subsequent reduction in intestinal inflammation and ischemia.

Background: The efficacy of ethiodized poppyseed oil in hysterosalpingography (HSG) image quality and fertility enhancement has been revealed, but whether this HSG modality has similar effects in the Chinese population is still unclear. Methods: Between July 18, 2017, and December 29, 2019, this multicentric, randomized, two-arm, clinical trial was performed involving 15 medical centers. Infertile women meeting HSG indications were randomly assigned to an oil group and a water group. The coprimary outcome included HSG image quality during HSG and fertility-enhancing effects of HSG. This study was registered on ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT03370575). Findings: A total of 1026 subjects were randomly assigned to an oil group (N = 508) and a water group (N = 518). HSG image quality revealed that the oil group had outstanding visualization (all P < 0.001); total image quality scores for uterus opacification or uterine outline (2.9 ± 0.4 vs. 2.7 ± 0.5), fallopian tube outline (2.3 ± 0.8 vs. 1.7 ± 0.7), fimbrial rugae (1.7 ± 1.0 vs. 1.3 ± 0.8), fallopian tube spillage (2.1 ± 0.9 vs. 1.6 ± 0.8), peritoneal distribution (2.6 ± 0.9 vs. 2.1 ± 1.0) and diagnostic quality (11.6 ± 3.4 vs. 9.5 ± 3.1) (all P < 0.001) were higher in the oil group than in the water group. Regarding fertility-enhancing evaluation, the oil group showed an increased cumulative on-going pregnancy rate, on-going pregnancy within 6 months (29.1% vs. 20.1%), clinical pregnancy (39.5% vs. 29.1%) and live birth ≥ 24 weeks of gestation (36.1% vs. 27.7%) but a shorter time to pregnancy than the water group (all P < 0.01). Concerning adverse events, the oil group showed a lower occurrence rate of abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding after HSG (both P < 0.01). Interpretation: Ethiodized poppyseed oil-based contrast is superior to water-based contrast during HSG in terms of image quality improvement and fertility enhancement. This study indicates the priority of the application of ethiodized poppyseed oil-based contrast during the HSG procedure in infertile patients. Funding: No funding was received.

In this paper, synergistic effects of stereotactic radiotherapy (SRS) combined with karelizumab on the patients with advanced NSCLC have been analyzed through extensive experiments. For this purpose, 100 patients with advanced NSCLC in our hospital from December 2018 to December 2020 were selected and divided into control group and observation group. The control group was treated with SRS, while the observation group was treated with karelizumab at the same time. The data of age, gender, BMI, pathological type, and clinical stage were collected and recorded. After 3 months of treatment, the short-term efficacy of the two groups was evaluated according to RECIST solid tumor efficacy evaluation standard. Fasting venous blood of all patients before and 3 months after treatment was collected. The serum levels of matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9), cytokeratin 19 fragment (CY211), carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) were detected by the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The KPS score was used to evaluate the quality of life before and after treatment. The incidence of fatigue, diarrhea, and other adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. The patients were followed up for 3 years, and the survival of all patients was recorded. The total effective rate of the observation group was 50.00% (23/46), which was evidently higher than that (27.78% (15/54)) of the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the parameters of CY211, MMP-9, VEGF, and CEA in the two groups were evidently lower than those before treatment, and the parameters of CY211, MMP-9, VEGF, and CEA in the observation group were evidently lower than those in the control group after treatment (P < 0.05). After treatment, KPS parameters of the two groups were evidently higher than those before treatment, and KPS parameters of the observation group were evidently higher than those of the control group after treatment (P < 0.05). The 1-year, 2-year, and 3-year survival rates of the observation group were 95.64% (44/46), 89.13% (41/46), and 80.43% (37/46), respectively, and the 2-year and 3-year survival rates of the observation group were evidently higher than those of the control group (P < 0.05). SRS combined with karelizumab in the treatment of patients with advanced NSCLC has good curative effect, can evidently inhibit the angiogenesis and tumor growth and metastasis, can evidently improve the quality of life of patients, has a good synergistic effect, and can be widely used in clinic.

Polyploidy and life-strategy transitions between annuality and perenniality often occur in flowering plants. However, the evolutionary propensities of polyploids and the genetic bases of such transitions remain elusive. We assembled chromosome-level genomes of representative perennial species across the genus Glycine including five diploids and a young allopolyploid, and constructed a Glycine super-pangenome framework by integrating 26 annual soybean genomes. These perennial diploids exhibit greater genome stability and possess fewer centromere repeats than the annuals. Biased subgenomic fractionation occurred in the allopolyploid, primarily by accumulation of small deletions in gene clusters through illegitimate recombination, which was associated with pre-existing local subgenomic differentiation. Two genes annotated to modulate vegetative-reproductive phase transition and lateral shoot outgrowth were postulated as candidates underlying the perenniality-annuality transition. Our study provides insights into polyploid genome evolution and lays a foundation for unleashing genetic potential from the perennial gene pool for soybean improvement.

Luminescent covalent organic frameworks (LCOFs) have attracted significant attention due to their tunability of structures and photophysical properties at molecular level. LCOFs are built to highly ordered and periodic 2D or 3D framework structures through covalently assembling with various luminophore building blocks. Recently, the advantages of LCOFs including predesigned properties of structure, unique photoluminescence, hypotoxicity and good biocompatibility and tumor penetration, broaden their applications in biorelated fields, such as biosensing, bioimaging, and drug delivery. A specific review that analyses the advances of LCOFs in the field of biosensing and bioimaging is thus urged to emerge. Here the construction of LCOFs is reviewed first. The synthetic chemistry of LCOFs highlights the key role of chemical linkages, which not only concrete the building blocks but also affect the optical properties and even can act as the responsive sites for potential sensing applications. How to brighten LCOFs are clarified through description of structure managements. The ability to utilize the luminescence of LCOFs for applications in biosensing and bioimaging is discussed using state-of-the-art examples of varied practical goals. A prospect finally addresses opportunities and challenges the development of LCOFs facing from chemistry, physics to the applications, according to their current progress.

The most common kind of kidney cancer with poor prognosis is clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC). Pyroptosis is shown to be an inflammatory type of programmed cell death in recent years. In this research, we utilized pyroptosis-related differentially expressed lncRNAs in ccRCC to develop a predictive multi-lncRNA signature. We uncovered 14 lncRNAs with different expression patterns that were linked to ccRCC prognosis. Kaplan-Meier analysis identified a signature of high-risk lncRNAs related to poor prognosis for ccRCC. Furthermore, the AUC of the lncRNA signature was 0.771, indicating that they can be used to predict ccRCC prognosis. In predicting ccRCC prognosis, our risk analysis approach outperformed standard clinicopathological characteristics. In the low-risk group, GSEA indicated tumor-related pathways. T-cell functions such as T-cell coinhibition and T-cell costimulation were found to be expressed differently in two groups. Immune checkpoints including PD-1, LAG3, CTLA4, and BTLA were also differently expressed between the two groups. In patients with ccRCC, we created a 14-lncRNA-based predictor as a robust prognostic and predictive tool for OS.

Chronic constriction injury (CCI) of the sciatic nerve was used to establish neuropathic pain (NP) models in rats. CCI rats were then treated with propofol (Pro) and their paw withdrawal mechanical threshold (PWMT) and paw withdrawal thermal latency (PWTL) were measured. In addition, the expression patterns of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-1ß (IL-1ß), and IL-10 were detected. CCI rats treated with propofol were further injected with antagomiR-140-3p to verify the role of miR-140-3p in propofol's analgesic actions. In addition to confirming the relationship between miR-140-3p and JAG1, the expression patterns of JAG1 itself were detected. Propofol-treated CCI rats were also injected with Ad-JAG1 (adenovirus-packaged JAG1 overexpression vector and Ad-NC) to test the role of JAG1 in propofol's analgesic mechanism of action. Finally, the levels of JAG1 and Notch pathway-related proteins were detected RESULTS: Propofol was found to alleviate NP, including thermal hyperalgesia and mechanical pain threshold. Propofol could also ameliorate neuroinflammation by up-regulating the expression of IL-10 and inhibiting the release of TNF-α and IL-1ß. Mechanically, propofol enhanced the amount of miR-140-3p in CCI rats via the regulation of JAG1. Down-regulation of miR-140-3p, or up-regulation of JAG1, could reduce the protective effect of propofol against NP. Propofol inhibited the activation of Notch signaling via miR-140-3p/JAG1 to realize its analgesic effect CONCLUSION: Our findings indicated that propofol inhibits inflammatory responses and the Notch signaling pathway via miR-140-3p/JAG1 to alleviate NP. These data provide evidence to support a potential clinical therapy for NP.

OBJECTIVE: This study is set out to determine the relationship between IL-32 and radiosensitivity of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). METHODS: Western blot was adopted for measuring IL-32 expression in Eca-109 and TE-10 cells. Eca-109 and TE-10 cells with interference or overexpression of IL-32 were treated with the presence or absence of X-ray irradiation. Then, the use of CCK8 assay was to detect proliferation ability, and effects of IL-32 expression on radiosensitivity of ESCC were tested by colony formation assay. The cell apoptosis was detected using flow cytometry. STAT3 and p-STAT expression, and apoptotic protein Bax were detected by western blot. RESULTS: Colony formation assay and CCK8 assay showed that compared with the NC group without treatment, the growth of the ESCC cells, that is Eca-109 and TE-10, was significantly inhibited in the OE+IR group with highly expressed IL-32 and irradiation. In flow cytometry analysis, in Eca-109 and TE-10 cells, highly expressed IL-32 combined with irradiation significantly increased apoptosis compared with the control group. Highly expressed IL-32 has a synergistic effect with irradiation, inhibiting STAT3 and p-STAT3 expression and increasing apoptotic protein Bax expression. CONCLUSION: IL-32 can improve the radiosensitivity of ESCC cells by inhibiting the STAT3 pathway. Therefore, IL-32 can be used as a new therapeutic target to provide a new attempt for radiotherapy of ESCC.

BACKGROUND: The correlation between postoperative deep venous thrombosis (DVT) and inflammation in patients with permanent cardiac pacemaker implantation was analyzed. METHODS: A total of 130 cases undergoing permanent pacemaker implantation in the 305 Hospital of Chinese PLA and Fuwai Hospital from May 2014 to February 2017 were selected. Of the 130 cases, 60 patients complicated with DVT were selected as the observation group, and the remaining 70 cases without complications of DVT were selected as the control group. The relationship and influence of various factors were explored. RESULTS: The number of patients smoking and the number of subjects with DVT history in the observation group were higher than those in the control group. In the observation group, plasminogen activator inhibitor (PAI)-1: Ag, PAI-1: Ac, thrombin-activated fibrinolysis inhibitor (TAFI): Ag, and TAFI: Ac levels were higher than those in control group (P<0.05). The levels of inflammatory factors of the peripheral blood of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). In the correlation analysis of serum inflammatory factors and coagulation factors, CRP, IL-6, IL-10 were positively correlated with PAI-1: Ag level. Age, BMI, smoking history, number of implanted electrodes, DVT history, duration of immobilization and inflammatory factor levels had independent predictive value on postoperative complicated DVT. CONCLUSION: The serum inflammatory factors are closely associated with postoperative DVT in patients implanted with permanent cardiac pacemaker, and the serum inflammatory factors are a good reference for the evaluation of DVT.

The radioresistance of oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is a critical factor leading to a poor prognosis among patients. The expression of PBX1 is abnormally high in a broad range of human tissues, and this gene plays a key role in tumour proliferation. This research intended to explore the radiosensitization of OSCC by silencing PBX1. The OSCC cell lines KYSE450 and KYSE150 were subjected to PBX1 silencing and/or irradiation (IR). Cell proliferation, colony formation, and apoptosis were tested to evaluate the radiosensitization ability of PBX1 silencing. The levels of STAT3 and p-STAT3 in the OSCC cells were tested by Western blotting. Furthermore, KYSE150 cells with or without PBX1 silencing were xenografted into nude mice with or without radiation exposure. Concomitant PBX1 silencing and IR can obviously suppress growth and enhance radiosensitivity in OSCC cells and xenografts. Moreover, the downregulation of PBX1 inhibits the expression of STAT3 and p-STAT3. The downregulation of PBX1 may increase radiosensitivity in OSCC cells and xenografts via the PBX1/STAT3 pathway. Our findings demonstrate that PBX1 may be a potential target for promoting the effect of radiation therapy in OSCC patients.

Developing novel luminescent materials for sensitive and rapid detection of heavy metal ions, organic solvents and organochlorine pesticides is vital for environmental monitoring. Herein, a new Ag(i) luminescent coordination polymer [Ag(3-dpyb)(H3odpa)]·H2O (LCP 1) (3-dpyb = N,N'-bis(3-pyridinecarboxamide)-1,4-butane, H4odpa = 4,4'-oxydiphthalic acid) was obtained by a hydrothermal reaction and characterized by single crystal, powder X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and luminescence spectroscopy. LCP 1 is a three-dimensional (3D) supramolecular framework formed from 1D [Ag-3-dpyb-H3odpa] n chains and H-bond interactions. The luminescence sensing study of LCP 1 for recognizing organic solvents, organochlorine pesticides and heavy metal ions was performed, which demonstrated it to be a potential luminescent sensor for Hacac, NB, 2,6-DCN, Fe2+, Hg2+, and Fe3+. Fe2+, Hg2+, and Fe3+ in river water were determined using LCP 1 with satisfying recovery.
