RESUMO
Variations in liver, blood and urine 3-oxyanthranilic acid-antigen (3-OAA-A) levels and those of ascorbic acid in liver of rats and mice receiving various hepatocarcinogens were examined. Treatment with ascorbic acid (three courses of 15 injections each) given prior to tumor development and during early carcinogenesis was followed by a significant decrease in 3-OAA-A concentration up to its complete elimination from the body and prevented hepatoma development.

Dynamics of the content of 3-OAK-A in the liver, blood and urine as well as of free and bound AK in the liver of rats and mice was traced by the quantitative precipitation reaction and oxidimetric method of ascorbic acid (AA) determination. It was shown that an increase in the content of 3-OAK-A in the liver during carcinogenesis initiation and progression is accompanied by a decrease in the AA content in this organ. One of the possible mechanisms inhibiting the formation of 3-OAK-A is "interception" of the proteins involved in the formation of 3-OAK-A.

By means of a qualitative and quantitative method of precipitation it was found possible to record 3-OAA-antigens in mice receiving ortho-aminoazotoluene. the authors obtained some additional data indicating a similar kinetics of binding for exogenous and endogenous carcinogen. The elaborated method of quantitation of 3-OAA-antigens in the urine may be used for studying the kinetics of this index in cancer patients.

Quantitative and qualitative methods of precipitation rendered it possible to record 3-OAA-antigens and corresponding antibodies in blood and urine preparations from outbred rats receiving hepatocarcinogen DAB.

The paper is concerned with the study of a possibility to record 2-naphtylamine and benzidine in serum and formed blood elements of workers being in contact with dyes, which molecule contain radicals of carcinogens. The Ouchterlony method of precipitation in gel in micromodification and the method of a delay in the precipitation reaction have indicated the presence of benzidine as a haptene in blood serum of 25 among 103 workers and in blood clot extracts in 42 among 116 workers from a textile factory under examination. But 2-naphtylamine was not found in the same subjects.
