Decision Support for the Therapy Planning for Young Refugees and Asylum-Seekers with Posttraumatic Disorders Due to the Convention on the Rights of the Child and § 6 of the Asylum Seekers' Benefit Act, there are legal and ethical obligations for the care of minor refugees suffering from trauma-related disorders. In Germany, psychotherapeutic care of adolescent refugees is provided by specialized treatment centers and Child and Adolescent psychiatries with specialized consultation-hours for refugees. Treatment of minor refugees is impeded by various legal and organizational barriers. Many therapists have reservations and uncertainties regarding an appropriate therapy for refugees due to a lack of experience. This means that only a fraction of the young refugees with trauma-related disorders find an ambulatory therapist. In a review of international literature, empirical findings on (interpreter-aided) diagnostics and therapy of young refugees were presented. Practical experiences on therapeutic work with traumatized young refugees were summarized in a decision tree for therapy planning in the ambulatory setting. The decision tree was developed to support therapists in private practices by structuring the therapy process.

Psicoterapia online: demanda crescente e sugestões para regulamentação / Online psychotherapy: growing demand and suggestions for its regulation / Psicoterapia em línea y sugerencias para la reglamentación

A psicoterapia online é uma forma de psicoterapia, conduzida por meio de sessões síncronas via internet, ainda não permitidas no Brasil, exceto em alguns casos definidos pela resolução 011/2012, do Conselho Federal de Psicologia. Tal restrição é baseada no entendimento de que a pesquisa disponível é insuficiente para autorizar a utilização generalizada desse tipo de serviço. Estudos sobre a aliança terapêutica no atendimento psicológico, fornecido exclusivamente pela internet, mostram que o estabelecimento da relação terapêutica em chamadas online síncronas ocorre de maneira muito parecida com o que acontece em processos terapêuticos face a face, considerando tanto seus benefícios como seus desafios. Este artigo tem como objetivos ampliar a compreensão da psicoterapia online e questionar a sua simples proibição, sinalizando os perigos implicados, vis-a-vis o aumento da demanda para o serviço e seu uso crescente, em desrespeito às restrições atuais. Este artigo também faz sugestões para a regulação do serviço no Brasil.

Online psychotherapy is a form of psychotherapy conducted by means of synchronous Internet sessions that are still not allowed in Brazil, except in a few instances defined by the Resolution 011/2012 of the Federal Council of Psychology. Such restriction is based on the understanding that the research available is insufficient to authorize a wide spread use of this type of service. Studies on therapeutic alliance in psychological care provided exclusively over the internet show that the establishment of the therapeutic relationship in synchronous online calls occurs much like it does in face-to-face therapeutic processes, considering both, its benefits and challenges. This article aims to broaden the understanding of the online psychotherapy and to question its prohibition, signaling the dangers it entails, vis-a-vis the increasing demand for the service and its widespread use in disregard with the current restrictions. This article also makes suggestions for the regulation of the service in Brazil.

Psicoterapia en línea es una forma de psicoterapia realizada por intermedio de sesiones sincrónicas a través de Internet, todavía no permitido en Brasil, excepto en algunos casos definidos por la Resolución 011/2012 del Consejo Federal de Psicología. Esta restricción se basa en la constatación de que la investigación disponible es insuficiente para permitir el uso generalizado de este tipo de servicio. Los estudios sobre la alianza terapéutica en los servicios psicológicos proporcionados exclusivamente por medio de Internet muestran que el establecimiento de la relación terapéutica en las llamadas síncronas en línea es una forma muy parecida a lo que ocurre en los procesos terapéuticos cara a cara, teniendo en cuenta tanto sus beneficios y desafíos. Este artículo tiene como objetivo ampliar la comprensión de la psicoterapia en línea y cuestionar su simple prohibición, señalando los peligros involucrados, vis-a-vis el aumento de la demanda del servicio y su creciente uso en violación de las restricciones actuales. En este artículo también se hace sugerencias para regular el servicio en Brasil.

[Assessment of prescriptive therapies and remedies - Experience and results].

In the years 2005-2015, a leading assessment institute conducted numerous assessments on behalf of two major German private health insurance companies concerning the necessity of prescriptive therapies and remedies. The findings are presented in this article, and the results vary significantly, depending on the prescriptive therapy assessed.

[Internet presence of neurologists, psychiatrists and medical psychotherapists in private practice]. / Internetauftritte niedergelassener Neurologen, Psychiater und ärztlicher Psychotherapeuten.

OBJECTIVE: The world wide web provides new options to physicians in terms practice marketing, information brokerage, and process optimization. This study explores prevalence and content of homepages of neurologists, psychiatrists and medical psychotherapists in private practice. METHODS: Through the legal bodies of physicians in private practice in six northern German states neurologists, psychiatrists and medical psychotherapists were identified. According to a standardized and operationalized criteria catalogue, homepages were rated. RESULTS: 1804 physicians were identified, 352 (19.5 %) had operated a homepage. Higher frequencies of homepages found for male physicians (vs. female physicians), practice centres (vs. single practices) and urban practices (vs. rural practices). In average, practices reached 18.8 (±â€Š5.3) of 42 points; contact data and accessibility information were generally available; information as to qualification and specialization was provided more infrequently. Legal specifications were not considered in more than every second homepage, interactive elements like online appointment of follow-up prescription were only rarely offered. CONCLUSIONS: Only every fifth neurological or psychiatric practice operates an own homepage, higher competition (urban area) and higher professionalization (practice centres) seem to act as promotors. The legal framework has to be focused, and patient needs should be taken into account.

Based on legal jurisdiction, knowledge of the psychiatric-psychotherapeutic field and insight into the necessity of a new allocation of responsibilities in the overall therapeutic service of a clinic, the core areas of medical activities are defined for the first time, innovative organisational approaches to the reorganisation of therapeutic service are presented and discussed against the background of qualified staff deficit, introduction of an OPS coding for inpatient psychiatry and economic constraints.

[Socio-medical aspects of mental disorders: mental disorders in the German medical health care system and socio-medical therapeutic interventions]. / Sozialmedizinische Aspekte bei psychischen Erkrankungen : Psychische Erkrankungen im medizinischen Versorgungssystem und therapeutische Maßnahmen.

In the first article social medicine was defined. In this second article the health care system and special socio-medical treatments for the individual are described. The role of social medicine is to describe and optimize the health care system. The legal basis for the structure of the health care system is the Social Law. The individual encounter between therapists and patients is also regulated by law. This includes a contract of personal service. Liability of therapists is therefore restricted to correct treatment, which must be documented, and not depending on outcome. Therapists must cooperate with each other. There are special socio-medical treatments for individuals. This includes sickness certificates, enforced treatment, guardianship, support by counselling services, socio-medical support by physicians and psychotherapists in private practice, care and assessment in rehabilitation centres, and measures for reintegration into working life.

In March 2009 the "Krankenhausfinanzierungsrahmengesetz (KHRG)" (Hospital Finance Law) came into force. For this reason, new procedures covering psychosomatic-psychotherapeutic und psychiatric-psychotherapeutic inpatient treatment had to be developed. This paper presents the new Psych-Procedures (Psych-OPS) together with first instructions on coding procedures.
