RESUMO

Large bone defects due to trauma, infections, and tumors are difficult to heal spontaneously by the body's repair mechanisms and have become a major hindrance to people's daily lives and economic development. However, autologous and allogeneic bone grafts, with their lack of donors, more invasive surgery, immune rejection, and potential viral transmission, hinder the development of bone repair. Hydrogel tissue bioengineered scaffolds have gained widespread attention in the field of bone repair due to their good biocompatibility and three-dimensional network structure that facilitates cell adhesion and proliferation. In addition, loading natural products with nanoparticles and incorporating them into hydrogel tissue bioengineered scaffolds is one of the most effective strategies to promote bone repair due to the good bioactivity and limitations of natural products. Therefore, this paper presents a brief review of the application of hydrogels with different gel-forming properties, hydrogels with different matrices, and nanoparticle-loaded natural products loaded and incorporated into hydrogels for bone defect repair in recent years.

Some automotive companies develop battery electric vehicles (BEVs) with an ultra-long range to address consumers' range anxiety. However, ultra-long-range BEVs have many problems, and whether they can truly solve consumers' range anxiety has not been studied. Thus, we build a technology-rich, bottom-up approach model to evaluate BEVs' performance, economy, and total cost of ownership (TCO) to reveal the necessity of developing ultra-long-range BEVs. The results show that the ultra-long-range BEVs' dynamic, safety, and economy performances are poor compared to short-range BEVs. Based on the TCO analysis considering battery replacement and alternative transportation costs, 400 km is the optimal range of BEVs for consumers. In addition, consumers' range anxiety is essentially anxiety about energy replenishment. Ultra-long-range BEV cannot really solve consumers' range anxiety except by reducing charging frequency. In the case of gradually improving the charging and swapping infrastructure, we believe that automotive companies do not need to develop ultra-long-range BEVs.

The dispatching of hydro-thermal system is a nonlinear programming problem with multiple constraints and high dimensions and the solution techniques of the model have been a hotspot in research. Based on the advantage of that the artificial bee colony algorithm (ABC) can efficiently solve the high-dimensional problem, an improved artificial bee colony algorithm has been proposed to solve DHTS problem in this paper. The improvements of the proposed algorithm include two aspects. On one hand, local search can be guided in efficiency by the information of the global optimal solution and its gradient in each generation. The global optimal solution improves the search efficiency of the algorithm but loses diversity, while the gradient can weaken the loss of diversity caused by the global optimal solution. On the other hand, inspired by genetic algorithm, the nectar resource which has not been updated in limit generation is transformed to a new one by using selection, crossover and mutation, which can ensure individual diversity and make full use of prior information for improving the global search ability of the algorithm. The two improvements of ABC algorithm are proved to be effective via a classical numeral example at last. Among which the genetic operator for the promotion of the ABC algorithm's performance is significant. The results are also compared with those of other state-of-the-art algorithms, the enhanced ABC algorithm has general advantages in minimum cost, average cost and maximum cost which shows its usability and effectiveness. The achievements in this paper provide a new method for solving the DHTS problems, and also offer a novel reference for the improvement of mechanism and the application of algorithms.

PURPOSE: To evaluate the feasibility of intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM) for the measurement of diffusion and perfusion parameters in hyperacute strokes. MATERIALS AND METHODS: An embolic ischemic model was established with an autologous thrombus in 20 beagles. IVIM imaging was performed on a 3.0 Tesla platform at 4.5 h and 6 h after embolization. Ten b values from 0 to 900 s/mm2 were fitted with a bi-exponential model to extract perfusion fraction f, diffusion coefficient D, and pseudo-diffusion coefficient D*. Additionally, the apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) was calculated using the mono-exponential model with all the b values. Statistical analysis was performed using the pairwise Student's t test and Pearson's correlation test. RESULTS: A significant decrease in f and D was observed in the ischemic area when compared with those in the contralateral side at 4.5 h and 6 h after embolization (P < 0.01 for all). No significant difference was observed in D* between the two sides at either time point (P = 0.086 and 0.336, respectively). In the stroke area, f at 6 h was significantly lower than that at 4.5 h (P = 0.016). A significantly positive correlation was detected between ADC and D in both stroke and contralateral sides at 4.5 h and 6 h (P < 0.001 for both). Significant correlation between ADC and f was only observed in the contralateral side at 4.5 h and 6 h (P = 0.019 and 0.021, respectively). CONCLUSION: IVIM imaging could simultaneously evaluate the diffusion and microvascular perfusion characteristics in hyperacute strokes. LEVEL OF EVIDENCE: 2 Technical Efficacy: Stage 1 J. MAGN.
