With global warming becoming increasingly severe, environmental issues are receiving international attention. Crystalline silicon is an indispensable and important raw material for photovoltaic and semiconductor fields, but the cutting of crystalline silicon materials generates a large amount of silicon wastes. This article evaluates the environmental impact of a hydrogen production process using diamond-wire sawing silicon waste (DSSW) using the life cycle assessment (LCA) methodology. For comparison, it was also analyzed the environmental impact of the alkaline water electrolysis (AEL) hydrogen production route. In the DSSW alkaline catalyzed hydrolysis (DACH) hydrogen production route, the hydrogen production stage accounts for the main contribution of nine environmental impact indexes, including GWP, PED, ADP, AP, EP, ODP, ET, HT-cancer, and HT-non cancer, exceeding 56 %. Whereas for the AEL route, the environmental impacts of the electrolytic cell manufacturing stage can be neglected, and the operating stage contributes almost all the environmental impacts, contributing more than 92 % to the twelve environmental impact indexes. Compared to the AEL route, the DACH route has higher environmental impacts, with GWP index reaching 87.78 kg CO2 -eq/kg H2, PED index reaching 1772.90 MJ/kg H2, and IWU index reaching 622.37 kg/kg H2 which are 2.85, 4.07 and 7.56 times higher than the former, respectively. Although the environmental impact of the DACH route is significant, most of its indirect impacts were caused by the use of raw materials, and the energy consumption and direct environmental impact are both low. The environmental impact of the AEL route is mainly indirect effects generated due to the use of electricity. If clean renewable energy sources (e.g., solar PV, hydropower, geothermal or biofuels), were used for the AEL route, all twelve environmental impact indexes would be significantly reduced.

This research was aimed at exploring the application value of a mobile medical management system based on Internet of Things technology and medical data collection in stroke disease prevention and rehabilitation nursing. In this study, on the basis of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, the signals collected by the sensor were filtered by the optimized median filtering algorithm, and a rehabilitation nursing evaluation model was established based on the backpropagation (BP) neural network. The performance of the medical management system was verified in 32 rehabilitation patients with hemiplegia after stroke and 6 healthy medical staff in the rehabilitation medical center of the hospital. The results showed that the mean square error (MSE) and peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) of the median filtering algorithm after optimization were significantly higher than those before optimization (P < 0.05). When the number of neurons was 23, the prediction accuracy of the test set reached a maximum of 89.83%. Using traingda as the training function, the model had the lowest training time and root mean squared error (RMSE) value of 2.5 s and 0.29, respectively, which were significantly lower than the traingd and traingdm functions (P < 0.01). The error percentage and RMSE of the model reached a minimum of 7.56% and 0.25, respectively, when the transfer functions of both the hidden and input layers were tansig. The prediction accuracy in stages III~VI was 90.63%. It indicated that the mobile medical management system established based on Internet of Things technology and medical data collection has certain application value for the prevention and rehabilitation nursing of stroke patients, which provides a new idea for the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of stroke patients.

Objectives: To explore the effect of social support and ability perception on stress coping strategies for competitive stress, and to reveal the mediating effects of primary and secondary evaluation, so as to further improve the theoretical model of stress coping in soccer players. Methods: A total of 331 male athletes from 22 teams in the Chengdu Middle School Campus Football League were taken as survey samples, and surveys were conducted on their stress experience, social support, ability perception, cognitive assessment, and coping strategies for competition stress. SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0 statistical analysis software were used. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were used to process the obtained data. Results: (1) Positive primary assessment acted as a full mediator in the relationship between social support and secondary assessments, and negative primary assessment acted as a partial mediator in the relationship between competence perception and secondary assessments; (2) Secondary assessment played a partial mediating role between positive primary assessment and positive coping strategies, and a full mediating role between negative primary assessment and positive coping strategies; (3) Secondary assessments played the mediator neither between social support and a coping strategy for stress nor competence perception and a coping strategy for stress; (4) Positive primary assessment, positive negative assessment, and secondary assessment all had significant positive benefits for positive coping. Still, the impact of positive primary assessment on positive coping was significantly better than negative primary assessment and secondary assessment. Conclusion: The coping strategy for the competitive stress model proposed by this study has a very good fit for the causal model. It can be used to explain the observed data from soccer players in middle schools. The primary and secondary assessments play different roles in the model. The combination of problem focuses and emotional focus on the positive stress coping strategy is suitable in the field of competitive sports. Still, the relevant research results need to be further explored and verified in the future.

BACKGROUND: In the pandemic of COVID-19, due to asymptomatic patients and high personnel fluidity in outpatient clinics, health care workers (HCWs) in outpatients were facing severe threat from infection. There is an urgent need for a risk assessment to recognize and prevent infection risks. PURPOSE: To establish a semi-quantitative risk assessment model on COVID-19 infections for HCWs in outpatient departments, and apply it to practices. Further to provide infection risk management strategies to reduce infection threats in the post-pandemic of COVID-19. METHODS: We used the method of Brainstorm, Literature study and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) for risk factors selection and model construction, we also created corresponding indicators for each risk factors, in order to collect data in assessment practice. RESULTS: Eighteen risk factors were recognized and selected for model construction, by scatter plot, these risk factors had been classified into four parts, spanned the scopes of diagnosis and treatment, environment, personal protection and emergency handling, with specific management suggestions provided. In the practice, outpatient clinics were divided into three risk levels, 5 clinics in high risk level, 9 in medium risk level and 11 in low risk level. CONCLUSION: A proper comprehensive risk assessment model for COVID-19 infections has been successfully established. With the model, the ability to COVID-19 prevention in outpatients can be easily evaluated. The strategies on disinfection, surveillance and personal protection were also valuable references in the post-pandemic of COVID-19.

PURPOSE: To assess the performance of PET vascular activity score (PETVAS) in comparison with SUVmax, inflammatory biomarkers and ITAS-2010 score in a cohort of TAK patients. METHODS: Sixty-four PET/CT scans acquired from 54 TAK patients were analyzed. The inflammatory activity was qualitatively determined by physician's global assessment and quantitatively determined by ITAS-2010 score. SUVmax and PETVAS were acquired by consensus review. Levels of the inflammatory biomarkers C-reactive protein (CRP), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), and pentraxin-3 (PTX-3) were measured. Performance of the qualitative diagnoses and the quantitative correlation were, respectively, compared by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve and Spearman correlation coefficient. RESULTS: The biomarkers (CRP, ESR, PTX-3), PET uptake values (SUVmax, PETVAS), and ITAS-2010 scores were all significantly higher in active patients than in non-active ones. The area under the ROC curve and Youden Index of PETVAS and PTX-3 were higher than those of SUVmax, CRP, ESR, and ITAS-2010. PETVAS and PTX-3 resulted in a higher Spearman correlation coefficient with ITAS-2010 than other criteria, either among all patients or within the active group. Alteration trends of PETVAS and PTX-3 during follow-up showed a tighter correlation with clinical progression/remission assessment than other criteria. CONCLUSIONS: In TAK evaluation, PETVAS is superior for qualitative and quantitative assessment, compared with the regional SUVmax. Compared to CRP and ESR, inflammatory biomarker PTX-3 shows better qualitative performance and a higher correlation with PETVAS and ITAS-2010. These findings indicate that the use of PETVAS and PTX-3, instead of SUVmax and CRP/ESR, has potential advantages in the clinical evaluation of TAK.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the economic loss of nosocomial infections (NI) in patients with cerebral hemorrhage or cerebral infarction. METHODS: We used case-control method to compare the medical expenses between 46 pairs of cerebral hemorrhage or cerebral infarction patients with or without NI. RESULTS: The median hospital stay, total treatment expense, medications expense, examination expense, and treatment expense of NI were significantly higher in the NI group than in non-NI group (all P < 0.01 ). CONCLUSIONS: NI can prolong hospital stay and increase medical expenses of patients with cerebral hemorrhage or cerebral infarction. Effective measures should be taken to control NI.
