RESUMO

An objective stereo video quality assessment (SVQA) strives to be consistent with human visual perception while ensuring a low time and labor cost of evaluation. The temporal-spatial characteristics of video make the data processing volume of quality evaluation surge, making an SVQA more challenging. Aiming at the effect of distortion on the stereoscopic temporal domain, a stereo video quality assessment method based on the temporal-spatial relation is proposed in this paper. Specifically, a temporal adaptive model (TAM) for a video is established to describe the space-time domain of the video from both local and global levels. This model can be easily embedded into any 2D CNN backbone network. Compared with the improved model based on 3D CNN, this model has obvious advantages in operating efficiency. Experimental results on NAMA3DS1-COSPAD1 database, WaterlooIVC 3D Video Phase I database, QI-SVQA database and SIAT depth quality database show that the model has excellent performance.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the value of dual energy CT enterography (DECTE) in evaluating the activity of Crohn's disease (CD). METHODS: The endoscopy and imaging data of 29 patients with CD confirmed by clinic and pathology were analyzed retrospectively. The clinical CD activity index (CDAI) was used as the disease activity grouping standard, 29 patients with CD were grouped into activity groups, 18 patients in the active group (CDAI ≥ 150) with 36 intestinal segments, and 11 patients in the remission group (CDAI < 150) with 20 intestinal segments. The virtual single energy CT value, slope of energy spectrum curve and iodine content were analyzed to evaluate the evaluation of intestinal CD activity by DECTE. RESULTS: There were statistically significant differences in virtual single energy CT value (except 90 keV and 100 keV virtual single energy CT value), curve slope and iodine content between remission group and active group (P < 0.05), and has more diagnostic value for active phase (AUC > 0.5). ① Virtual single energy CT value: the AUC of 60 keV in arterial phase was the highest (0.924). The specificity of diagnosing CD in active stage was high (95%). ② Curve slope: the AUC of portal vein phase was the largest (0.731). The specificity of diagnosing CD in active stage was higher (85%). ③ Iodine content: the AUC of arterial phase was the highest (0.885). The specificity of diagnosing CD lesions in the active stage was 100%. CONCLUSION: The virtual single energy CT value, energy spectrum curve slope and iodine content can provide reference for clinical accurate diagnosis of CD activity.

RESUMO

The concentration, constitution, distribution, possible sources, and associated consumption risks of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in four marine fishes in the Zhoushan Archipelago were investigated. The concentrations of PAHs in the edible muscle of these four fishes ranged from 34.7 to 108 ng/g wet weight. Four-ring and six-ring PAH congeners constitute the most and least percentages of the total PAHs, respectively. The highest PAH concentrations were found in Mugil cephalus, followed by Sebastiscus marmoratus, Lateolabrax maculatus, and Collichthys lucidus. The highest PAH concentrations were found at the sampling island Liuheng, followed by Gouqi, Qushan, Dongji, and Zhujiajian. PAH concentrations in wet weight were remarkably different among these four fish species but not among different locations. High-molecular-weight congeners predominated the PAH composition pattern in most of the samples. Results showed that the consumption of M. cephalus might have potential carcinogenic risk. This study provided baseline data on PAH concentrations in seafood and consequent human consumption risk.

RESUMO

Hydrogenolysis of glycerol to propylene glycol represents one of the most promising technologies for biomass conversion to chemicals. However, conventional hydrogenolysis processes are often carried out under harsh H2 pressures and temperatures, leading to intensive energy demands, fast catalyst deactivation, and potential safety risks during H2 handling. Catalytic transfer hydrogenolysis (CTH) displays high energy and atom efficiency. We have studied a series novel solid catalysts for CTH of glycerol. In this work, detailed studies have been conducted on energy optimization, tech-economic analysis, and environmental impact for both processes. The key finding is that relatively less energy demands and capital investment are required for CTH process. CO2 emission per production of propylene glycol is much lower in the case of transfer hydrogenolysis. The outcome of this study could provide useful information for process design and implementation of novel hydrogenolysis technologies for other energy and environmental applications.

RESUMO

Large yellow croaker (Larimichthys crocea) purchased from five different farming sites in Zhoushan Archipelago and Xiangshan Harbor in the East China Sea, China were analyzed for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). Concentrations of PAHs and PCBs in the edible muscle of L. crocea ranged from 83.14 to 174.68 ng/g wet weight (or 266.89 to 695.24 ng/g dry weight) and 3.89 to 17.40 ng/g wet weight (or 15.50 to 54.25 ng/g dry weight), respectively. Incremental lifetime cancer risk (ILCR) associated with the dietary intake of PAHs and PCBs in L. crocea was assessed. Results showed that levels of PAHs in L. crocea were high enough to cause potential carcinogenic risks for human consumption, while, levels of PCBs in fish samples were of low significant carcinogenic risk.
