BACKGROUND: Among couples consulting for infertility, there is a male component, either alone or associated with a female aetiology in around one in 2 cases. MATERIAL AND METHODS: Bibliographic search in PubMed using the keywords "male infertility", "diagnosis", "management" and "evaluation" limited to clinical articles in English and French prior to 1/01/2023. RESULTS: The AFU recommends: (1) a complete medical history including: family history, patient history affecting fertility, lifestyle habits (toxicity), treatments, symptoms, sexual dysfunctions; (2) a physical examination including: BMI, signs of hypogonadism, secondary sexual characteristics, scrotal examination (volume and consistency of testes, vas deferens, epididymal or testicular nodules, presence of varicocele); (3) two spermograms, if abnormal on the first; (4) a systematic scrotal ultrasound,± an endorectal ultrasound depending on the clinic; (5) a hormonal work-up (testosterone, FSH; if testosterone is low: LH assay to differentiate between central or peripheral hypogonadism); (6) karyotype if sperm concentration≤10 million/mL; (7) evaluation of Y chromosome microdeletions if concentration≤1 million/mL; (8) evaluation of the CFTR gene in cases of suspected bilateral or unilateral agenesis of the vas deferens and seminal vesicles. The role and usefulness of direct and indirect tests to assess the effects of oxidative stress on sperm DNA will also be explained. CONCLUSION: This review complements and updates the AFU/SALF 2021 recommendations.

BACKGROUND AND AIMS: The impact of utilizing both symptoms as well as biochemically confirmed androgen deficiency in diagnosis of hypogonadism among type 2 diabetic men is relatively less studied. Furthermore, various determinants of hypogonadism in these men especially the role of insulin resistance and hypogonadism were studied. METHODS: This is a cross sectional study of 353 T2DM men aged 20-70 years of age. Hypogonadism was defined by taking both symptoms as well as calculated testosterone levels. Symptoms were defined using androgen deficiency in ageing male (ADAM) criteria. Various metabolic and clinical parameters were assessed and evaluated with regards to presence or absence of hypogonadism. RESULTS: Among 353 patients, 60 had both symptoms as well as biochemical evidence of hypogonadism. Assessment of calculated free testosterone but not total testosterone identified all such patients. Body mass index, HbA1c, fasting triglyceride level and HOMA IR inversely correlated with calculated free testosterone. We found that insulin resistance (HOMA IR) was independently associated with hypogonadism (odds ratio=1.108). CONCLUSION: Assessment of both symptoms of hypogonadism and calculated free testosterone represents a better way for correct identification of hypogonadal diabetic men. Insulin resistance has a strong association with hypogonadism independent of obesity and complication status of diabetes.

OBJECTIVE: Boucher-Neuhäuser Syndrome (BNS) is a rare autosomal recessive disorder characterized by hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, spinocerebellar ataxia, and chorioretinal syndrome, and associated with a variant in the PNPLA6 gene. Although many reports have mentioned the presence of cognitive impairment, a neuropsychological assessment of a BNS case has never been published. Here, we provide a detailed description of a young adult patient with BNS who has a homozygous pathogenic variant in the PNPLA6 gene. METHOD: A 21-year-old man with progressive ataxia and a history of hypogonadotropic hypogonadism and chorioretinal dystrophy was diagnosed with BNS. A comprehensive cognitive evaluation was performed, requiring the ad hoc selection and adaption of neuropsychological tests to overcome visual and motor impairments that characterize this syndrome. RESULTS: The patient presented an intact global cognitive profile with selective executive dysfunction and mild verbal reasoning dysfunction. In particular, attentional-inhibitory control, working memory, and set switching were impaired, and inadequate development of conceptual knowledge and abstract reasoning was observed. CONCLUSIONS: This is the first report of an explicitly documented comprehensive neuropsychological assessment in a patient with BNS. The battery we composed is an example of a methodology that can be used to conduct a detailed cognitive examination without being penalized for physical impairment.Further studies are needed to define the typical cognitive features that characterize BNS and possibly identify its cognitive phenotype(s).

Objective: Up to 40% of infertile men remain without a recognized cause (i.e., idiopathic infertility). We aimed to identify, categorize, and report the supposed causes of male infertility in a cohort of white-European men presenting for primary couple's infertility, by using a thorough and extensive baseline diagnostic work-up. Material and Methods: Cross-sectional study of 1,174 primary infertile men who underwent a thorough diagnostic work-up including: detailed medical history, physical examination, hormonal assessment, genetic testing, semen analyses; semen and urine cultures; testis color Duplex US. Men without any identified causal factor were considered as idiopathic. Six different etiological categories were established, and their prevalence was estimated. Logistic regression models estimated the risk of missing causal identification. Results: A possible causal factor was identified in 928 (81%) men. Hypogonadism was the most frequent identified cause (37%), followed by varicocele (27%). Genetic abnormalities were found in 5% of patients. A causal factor was more easily identifiable for the more severe infertility cases, and azoospermic men were those less likely to be defined as idiopathic (OR and 95% CIs: 0.09; 0.04-0.20). Relative proportion of identified causes remained constant during the 10-year study period (p>0.43). Conclusions: Due to a more comprehensive and extensive diagnostic work-up, at least one underlying cause of male infertility factor in 4 out of 5 infertile men can be identified. Men with a less severe phenotype remain a clinical challenge in terms of establishing a possible etiologic factor. Further studies are needed to assess which subset of infertile men deserves a more extensive work-up.

Hypogonadism is a prevalent comorbidity with erectile disfunction (ED) and current guidelines recommend screening for hypogonadism with total testosterone (TT). If low TT is detected, further assessment with LH and SHBG plus albumin are needed to establish an etiology and treatment. Our primary objective was to determine the cost benefit of current stepwise approach versus ad initium full hormonal assessment. Two hundred consecutive male patients referred for ED were screened after consent and 81 were included and assessed for hypogonadism according to the current stepwise approach with TT, and only if TT was less than 345 ng/mL, a full hormonal assessment with TT, LH, and SHBG plus albumin to calculate free testosterone was performed. Direct costs were calculated using the national public healthcare system reimbursement tables and were compared with a hypothetical initial full hormonal assessment. Screening TT was less than 345 ng/mL in 34.6% patients leading to a full hormonal assessment on these. Using a stepwise approach there was a direct cost increase of 5.82 € per patient. Moreover, one out of every three patients had two extra venipunctures and an additional follow-up appointment. Current stepwise recommendations may prove costly in high prevalence scenarios such as the ED subpopulation as a direct cost increase was observed.

CONTEXT: Sleep that is insufficient, misaligned, or disrupted causes hypersomnolence and neuropsychological deficits, adversely affects cardiometabolic health, and is increasingly recognized to impair other biological processes that lead to conditions important to men, such as hypogonadism, erectile dysfunction, and infertility. EVIDENCE ACQUISITION: Literature review from 1970 to December 2018. EVIDENCE SYNTHESIS: High-quality and complementary epidemiological and interventional studies establish that abnormal sleep is associated with increased mortality, hypertension, and other cardiometabolic disorders (insufficient, disrupted, and misaligned sleep), as well as reduced fecundity and total sperm count (insufficient sleep), erectile dysfunction (disrupted sleep), and low testosterone (both). Circadian misalignment shifts the peak of testosterone's diurnal rhythm to occur soon after waking up, irrespective of the biological clock time, but it does not change the mean concentration. Preliminary studies show that extending sleep in individuals who are chronically sleep deprived may become a strategy to reduce insulin resistance and hypertension. Continuous positive airway pressure therapy can improve erectile function, and possibly systemic testosterone exposure, but only when used adherently by men with obstructive sleep apnea. Both high-dose and replacement-dose testosterone therapies modestly worsen sleep-disordered breathing, but they also improve cardiometabolic function and sexual desire. Persistence of either the adverse or beneficial outcomes over the longer term requires further investigation. CONCLUSIONS: Sleep is increasingly recognized to be essential for healthy living. Establishing the effect of abnormal sleep, and of improving sleep, on andrological issues of prime interest to men will promote prioritization of sleep, and may thereby improve overall long-term health outcomes.

INTRODUCTION: This article, Part 1 of the Endocrine Society of Australia's position statement on male hypogonadism, focuses on assessment of male hypogonadism, including the indications for testosterone therapy. (Part 2 will deal with treatment and therapeutic considerations.) MAIN RECOMMENDATIONS: Key points and recommendations are:Pathological hypogonadism arises due to diseases of the hypothalamus or pituitary gland (hypogonadotropic hypogonadism) or testes (hypergonadotropic hypogonadism). It is a clinical diagnosis with a pathological basis, confirmed by hormone assays.Hormonal assessment is based on measurement of circulating testosterone, luteinising hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) concentrations. Measurement of sex hormone-binding globulin levels can be informative, but use of calculated free testosterone is not recommended for clinical decision making.Testosterone replacement therapy is warranted in men with pathological hypogonadism, regardless of age.Currently, there are limited data from high-quality randomised controlled trials with clinically meaningful outcomes to justify testosterone treatment in older men, usually with chronic disease, who have low circulating testosterone levels but without hypothalamic, pituitary or testicular disease.Obesity, metabolic syndrome and type 2 diabetes are associated with lowering of circulating testosterone level, but without elevation of LH and FSH levels. Whether these are non-specific consequences of non-reproductive disorders or a correctable deficiency state is unknown, but clear evidence for efficacy and safety of testosterone therapy in this setting is lacking.Glucocorticoid and opioid use is associated with possibly reversible reductions in circulating testosterone level, without elevation of LH and FSH levels. Where continuation of glucocorticoid or opioid therapy is necessary, review by an endocrinologist may be warranted.Changes in management as result of the position statement: Men with pathological hypogonadism should be identified and considered for testosterone therapy, while further research is needed to clarify whether there is a role for testosterone in these other settings.

OBJECTIVE: To assess whether the receipt of androgen therapy is associated with a reduced 30-day rehospitalization rate among older men with testosterone deficiency. PATIENTS AND METHODS: We conducted a retrospective cohort study using a 5% national sample of Medicare beneficiaries. We identified 6372 nonsurgical hospitalizations between January 1, 2007, and December 31, 2012, for male patients aged 66 years and older with a previous diagnosis of testosterone deficiency. Patients who died or lost Medicare coverage in the 30 days after hospital discharge or who were discharged to another inpatient setting were excluded from the analysis. Logistic regression was used to calculate odds ratios (ORs) and 95% CIs for the risk of 30-day hospital readmissions associated with receipt of androgen therapy. RESULTS: In older men with testosterone deficiency, receipt of androgen therapy was associated with a reduced risk of rehospitalization (91 of 929 androgen users [9.8%] vs 708 of 5443 non-androgen users [13.0%]; OR, 0.73; 95% CI, 0.58-0.92) in the 30 days after hospital discharge. In a logistic regression analysis adjusting for multiple demographic, clinical, and health service variables, the OR was similar (OR, 0.75; 95% CI, 0.59-0.95). The adjusted OR for unplanned 30-day hospital readmissions was 0.62 (95% CI, 0.47-0.83). Each of these findings persisted across a range of propensity score analyses-including adjustment, stratification, and inverse probability treatment weighting-and several sensitivity analyses. CONCLUSION: Androgen therapy may reduce the risk of rehospitalization in older men with testosterone deficiency. Given the high rates of early hospital readmission among older adults, further exploration of this intervention holds broad clinical and public health relevance.

AIM: Variations in diagnosing and treating testosterone (T) deficiency between different regions of the world were analyzed in 2006, and repeated in 2010. At present, the changes since 2006 were analyzed. METHODS: About 731 physicians were interviewed in Europe, South Africa, Central and South America regarding factors determining: (1) prescription of T or withholding T, (2) factors in the long-term use of T and the role of T formulations therein, (3) awareness of the wider spectrum of action of T (cardiometabolic disease) (4) reimbursement of T and its impact on (continued) use and (5) best strategies for information on T for physicians. RESULTS: Total T was a key factor in identifying hypogonadism, but for >80% of physicians, clinical symptoms were weighed during diagnosis. Once diagnosed, >85% received T treatment, but the treatment compliance was problematic. Of these patients, 36% decided not to start or continue the treatment. CONCLUSION: More hypogonadal men are treated than before, but ∼20% goes unidentified. Physicians have a greater awareness that T deficiency can be an element in cardiovascular and metabolic disease, but more education of physicians on diagnosis and treatment of hypogonadism are needed. Problems with reimbursement of T are barriers in the prescription of T and its use by patients.

INTRODUCTION: In 2014, the International Society for Sexual Medicine (ISSM) convened a panel of experts to develop an evidence-based process of care for the diagnosis and management of testosterone deficiency (TD) in adult men. The panel considered the definition, epidemiology, etiology, physiologic effects, diagnosis, assessment and treatment of TD. It also considered the treatment of TD in special populations and commented on contemporary controversies about testosterone replacement therapy, cardiovascular risk and prostate cancer. AIM: The aim was to develop clearly worded, practical, evidenced-based recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of diagnosis and management of TD for clinicians without expertise in endocrinology, such as physicians in family medicine and general urology practice. METHOD: A comprehensive literature review was performed, followed by a structured, 3-day panel meeting and 6-month panel consultation process using electronic communication. The final guideline was compiled from reports by individual panel members on areas reflecting their special expertise, and then agreed by all through an iterative process. RESULTS: This article contains the report of the ISSM TD Process of Care Committee. It offers a definition of TD and recommendations for assessment and treatment in different populations. Finally, best practice treatment recommendations are presented to guide clinicians, both familiar and unfamiliar with TD. CONCLUSION: Development of a process of care is an evolutionary process that continually reviews data and incorporates the best new research. We expect that ongoing research will lead to new insights into the pathophysiology of TD, as well as new, efficacious and safe treatments. We recommend that this process of care be reevaluated and updated by the ISSM in 4 years.

INTRODUCTION: Endocrinopathies and metabolic disorders-characterized ß thalassemic (ßT) patients and the prevention and treatment of these comorbidities are important targets to be achieved. The aim of the study was to analyze the diagnostic and prognostic role of ferritin for endocrinopathies and metabolic disorders in ßT patients. The ability of iron chelators to treat iron overload and to prevent or reverse metabolic disorders and endocrinopathies was also evaluated. PATIENTS AND METHODS: Seventy-two ßT patients were treated with different chelation strategies during the study. Receiver operating characteristics analysis was employed to calculate the area under the curve for serum ferritin to find the best cutoff values capable of identifying endocrine dysfunction in thalassemic patients. Kaplan-Meier curves were generated to assess the incidence of endocrinopathy. Adjusted risk estimates for endocrinopathy were calculated using univariate followed by multivariate Cox proportional hazard regression analysis. RESULTS: High ferritin levels were observed in patients with hypothyroidism [1500 (872.5-2336.5) µg/L], hypogonadism [878 (334-2010) µg/L], and in patients with hypoparathyroidism or osteoporosis [834 (367-1857) µg/L]. A strict correlation between ferritin and T2* magnetic resonance imaging of heart (r = -0.64; P:0.0006) and liver (r = -0.40; P:0.03) values was observed. Patients with ferritin values above 1800 µg/L experienced a significantly faster evolution to hypothyroidism [log-rank (χ(2) ):7.7; P = 0.005], hypogonadism [log-rank (χ(2) ):10.7; P = 0.001], and multiple endocrinopathies [log-rank (χ(2) ):5.72; P = 0.02]. Ferritin predicted high risk of endocrine dysfunction independently of confounding factors (HR:1.23; P < 0.0001). The intensification of chelation therapy led to an amelioration of hypothyroidism. CONCLUSIONS: Ferritin represents a prognostic marker for ßT patients and a predictive factor for progression to endocrine dysfunctions. Intensive chelation therapy allows the reversibility of hypothyroidism.

OBJECTIVE: To document current practices in the approach to low testosterone in older men. Given that recommendations are based on low-level evidence, we hypothesized that there would be a wide variability in clinical practice patterns. DESIGN: Members of all major endocrine and andrological societies were invited to participate in a Web-based survey of the diagnostic work-up and management of a hypothetical index case of a 61-year old overweight man presenting with symptoms suggestive of androgen deficiency, without evidence of hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPT) axis disease. RESULTS: Nine hundred and forty-three respondents (91·2% adult endocrinologists) from Northern America (63·7%), Europe (12·7%), Oceania (8·2%), Latin America and Caribbean (7·6%), and the Middle East, Asia, or Africa (7·8%) completed the survey. Response rates among participating societies ranged from 4·1-20·0%. There was a wide variability in clinical practice patterns, especially regarding biochemical diagnosis of androgen deficiency, exclusion of HPT axis pathology, and monitoring for prostate cancer. In a man with suggestive symptoms, 42·4% of participants would offer testosterone treatment below a serum total testosterone of 10·4 nmol/l (300 ng/dl). A total of 46·0% of participants were, over the last five years, 'less inclined' to prescribe testosterone to men with nonspecific symptoms and borderline testosterone levels, compared to 'no change' (29·3%) or 'more inclined' (24·7%), P < 0·001. CONCLUSIONS: This large-scale international survey shows a wide variability in the management of lowered testosterone in older men, with deviations from current clinical practice guidelines, and a temporal trend towards increasing reluctance to prescribe testosterone to men without classical hypogonadism. These findings highlight the need for better evidence to guide clinicians regarding testosterone therapy.

BACKGROUND: Male hypogonadism, caused by intrinsic pathology of the hypothalamic-pituitary-testicular (HPT) axis, is an under-diagnosed condition not to be missed. By contrast, late onset hypogonadism (LOH), due to functional suppression of the HPT axis from age-related comorbidities, may be less common than previously believed. OBJECTIVE: This article outlines the aetiology, clinical features, investigation and management of male hypogonadism and discusses the more controversial area of LOH. DISCUSSION: Pathologically based hypogonadism is, after a thorough diagnostic work-up, treated with testosterone replacement therapy, unless fertility is desired. LOH with modest reductions in testosterone levels should primarily be managed by attention to lifestyle measures, especially weight loss, and optimisation of comorbidities. Clear treatment goals should be identified, and efficacy and safety should be monitored according to published clinical practice guidelines.

INTRODUCTION: A variety of modalities for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) are available, including topical gels, injections, and Testopel subcutaneous testosterone pellets (STP). STP are becoming more commonly utilized in the United States; however, patient preferences, expectations, and usage patterns regarding this therapy remain poorly characterized. AIM: To identify factors influencing patients' decisions to initiate or discontinue STP. METHODS: A total of 175 men from an academic urology clinic who were currently using or who had previously used STP for hypogonadism received a 32-item electronic survey. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Assessment of the impact of convenience, efficacy, side effects, cost, and symptom relief on initiation and discontinuation of STP. RESULTS: One hundred and thirteen men (64.6% response rate) of mean age 51.4 years who previously underwent a mean of 2.8 STP implant procedures completed the survey. Fifty-nine (52.2%) and 40 (35.4%) men had switched to STP from topical gel and injection therapy, respectively, whereas 14 (12.4%) men initially started TRT with STP. Convenience (68.8%) was the most important factor in patients' decision to start STP, while cost of the previous form of TRT (14.7%) was least important. At the time of the survey, 32 men (28.3%) had discontinued STP therapy. Cost of therapy (50%) was the primary factor in discontinuing STP. There was no difference in serum testosterone levels between men who continued STP and those who discontinued therapy (642.8 vs. 629.0 ng/dL, P = 0.83). Overall, 68.1% of patients continued STP therapy at the time of survey completion. CONCLUSIONS: Convenience is the most important factor in a patient's decision to initiate STP; however, physician recommendation also plays a substantial role. Cost was the primary reason for discontinuation. Upon survey completion, greater than two-thirds of respondents elected to continue STP therapy. STP are a viable treatment option for hypogonadal men seeking a convenient and efficacious alternative modality of TRT.

PURPOSE: As more young female patients with cancer survive their primary disease, concerns about reproductive health related to primary therapy gain relevance. Cancer therapy can often affect reproductive organs, leading to impaired pubertal development, hormonal regulation, fertility, and sexual function, affecting quality of life. METHODS: The Children's Oncology Group Long-Term Follow-Up Guidelines for Survivors of Childhood, Adolescent, and Young Adult Cancer (COG-LTFU Guidelines) are evidence-based recommendations for screening and management of late effects of therapeutic exposures. The guidelines are updated every 2 years by a multidisciplinary panel based on current literature review and expert consensus. RESULTS: This review summarizes the current task force recommendations for the assessment and management of female reproductive complications after treatment for childhood, adolescent, and young adult cancers. Experimental pretreatment as well as post-treatment fertility preservation strategies, including barriers and ethical considerations, which are not included in the COG-LTFU Guidelines, are also discussed. CONCLUSION: Ongoing research will continue to inform COG-LTFU Guideline recommendations for follow-up care of female survivors of childhood cancer to improve their health and quality of life.

BACKGROUND: Hypogonadism is frequently diagnosed based on total testosterone (TT) levels alone. However, 99% of testosterone is bound to the sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG) with only 1% free testosterone. Alternative assessment methods consist of assay of free testosterone (FT) or bioavailable testosterone (BT) by equilibrium dialysis, calculation of FT and BT through the Vermeulen equations, and calculation of the free androgen index (FAI). OBJECTIVES: The aim of this study was to investigate the prevalence of hypogonadism in male chronic non-cancer pain patients undertaking long-term intrathecal opioid therapy and the existence of diagnostic discrepancies according to the criteria used. STUDY DESIGN: Prospective observational study. SETTING: Department of Pain Management, Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley, United Kingdom. METHODS: Twenty consecutive male patients undertaking long-term intrathecal opioid therapy had the gonadal axis evaluated by assays of luteinising hormone (LH), follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), TT, SHBG and by calculating the FT, BT and FAI. RESULTS: Hypogonadism was present in 17 (85%) of the patients based on TT; 17 (85%) according to FT and BT calculations; and 14 (70%) when calculating FAI. Based on either TT or FT being low or borderline/low, 19 (95%) of the investigated patients were biochemically hypogonadal. Significant differences were observed between diagnosis based on FT and FAI (P < 0.05). No significant differences were observed between diagnosis based on TT and FT (P = 0.40) or TT and FAI (P = 0.20). CONCLUSION: Hypogonadism is common in patients undertaking intrathecal opioid therapy for the management of chronic non-malignant pain; however, diagnostic criteria can influence the diagnosis of this side effect. The assessment of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis should include evaluation of total serum testosterone, free testosterone, or bioavailable testosterone.

The biochemical diagnosis of male hypogonadism remains a controversial issue. The problem is compounded by the variety of laboratory assays available to measure serum testosterone (T) and the limited understanding, among clinicians, of their relative diagnostic validity. It is widely accepted that only the testosterone not bound to sex hormone-bounding globulin is metabolically active. Therefore, for diagnostic purposes it is frequent practice to order the measurement of free T (FT) or bioavailable T (BAT). Our objective is to describe the methods available for measuring FT and to review the literature to determine the relevance of ordering FT as a diagnostic laboratory tool in cases of suspected hypogonadism. We also provide our biochemical approach in evaluating men with T deficiency. The limited information available in this regard is frequently confined to the biochemistry literature. The few reliable studies indicate that analog-based measurement of FT offers no diagnostic or financial advantage over automated assay for total T. The manuscript also describes "How we do it." For optimal diagnostic accuracy and financial responsibility, total T and calculated FT (cFT) should be the tests employed for initial and confirmatory diagnosis respectively. Measurement of bioavailable T is an alternative option but not germane to the points to which we are calling attention in this paper. While clinicians should be discouraged from ordering FT assays, laboratories performing it should indicate what method was used and warned about possible reliability concerns. FT assays should no longer be a reimbursable test.

AIM: To develop and to validate an Arabic Aging Male Symptoms (AMS) tool and to clinically assess patients with hypogonadism after hormonal treatment. METHODS: The tool was translated into Arabic and tested on 15 Saudi men. During a period of 9 months all males presented to the andrology clinic of the main University Hospital, King Saud University, Saudi Arabia with signs and symptoms of hypogonadism, were included in the study. Arabic AMS scale was applied in the base line visit, then 12 weeks after treatment. Testosterone was monitored before treatment, 4 weeks and after 12 weeks. RESULTS: Ninety-two subjects were included, Cronbach's α of 0.91 showed a very good internal consistency of the Arabic AMS questionnaire. The corresponding α for the subscales were 0.83, 0.84 and 0.73. There was a significant improvement in the mean level of TT after hormonal therapy (HT), this was reflected on the mean differences of improvement in the total Arabic AMS scores and subscales scores after HT, ranged from 31 to 35%. CONCLUSION: The present study revealed a significant association between testosterone levels and AMS tool manifested by a its good ability to measure the effect of treatment on quality of life for patients with hypogonadism.
