RESUMO

Nerve agents (G- and V-series) are a group of extremely toxic organophosphorus chemical warfare agents that we have had the opportunity to encounter many times on a massive scale (Matsumoto City, Tokyo subway and Gulf War). The threat of using nerve agents in terrorist attacks or military operations is still present, even with establishing the Chemical Weapons Convention as the legal framework. Understanding their environmental sustainability and health risks is critical to social security. Due to the risk of contact with dangerous nerve agents and animal welfare considerations, in silico methods were used to assess hydrolysis and biodegradation safely. The environmental fate of the examined nerve agents was elucidated using QSAR models. The results indicate that the investigated compounds released into the environment hydrolyse at a different rate, from extremely fast (<1 day) to very slow (over a year); V-agents undergo slower hydrolysis compared to G-agents. V-agents turned out to be relatively challenging to biodegrade, the ultimate biodegradation time frame of which was predicted as weeks to months, while for G-agents, the overwhelming majority was classified as weeks. In silico methods for predicting various parameters are critical to preparing for the forthcoming application of nerve agents.

INTRODUCTION: Nucleic acid amplification tests (NAATs) play a pivotal role in clinical laboratories for diagnosing COVID-19. This study aimed to elucidate the accuracy of these tests. METHODS: In 2021, an external quality assessment of NAATs for SARS-CoV-2 was conducted in 47 laboratories in Tokyo, Japan. In open testing, where the laboratories knew that the samples were intended for the survey, a simulated nasopharyngeal swab suspension sample was used, featuring a positive sample A with a viral concentration of 50 copies/µL, positive sample B with 5 copies/µL, and a negative sample. Laboratories employing real-time RT-PCR were required to report cycle threshold (Ct) values. In blind testing, where the samples were processed as normal test samples, a positive sample C with 50 copies/µL was prepared using a simulated saliva sample. RESULTS: Of the 47 laboratories, 41 were engaged in open testing. For sample A, all 41 laboratories yielded positive results, whereas for sample B, 36 laboratories reported positive results, 3 laboratories reported "test decision pending", 1 laboratory reported "suspected positive", and 1 laboratory did not respond. All 41 laboratories correctly identified the negative samples as negative. The mean Ct values were 32.2 for sample A and 35.2 for sample B. In the blind test, six laboratories received samples. Sample C was identified as positive by five laboratories and negative by one laboratory. CONCLUSIONS: The nature of the specimen, specifically the saliva, may have influenced the blind test outcomes. The identified issues must be meticulously investigated and rectified to ensure accurate results.

OBJECTIVES: To examine healthcare professionals (HCPs) attitudes, beliefs and preparedness towards the management of Para athlete mental health during the Tokyo 2020 and Beijing 2022 Paralympic Games. METHODS: A cross-sectional observational study was conducted. National Paralympic Committee's HCPs (n=857) working at the Tokyo 2020 and Beijing 2022 Paralympic Games were invited to respond to an anonymous online survey regarding the management of Para athlete mental health in their team. Data were analysed using descriptive frequency statistics. RESULTS: The survey was completed by 256 HCPs (30% of respondents). Most HCPs agreed that mental health was a concern in Para athletes (n=210; 82%). However, half (n=122; 48%) agreed that they did not screen Para athletes for mental health symptoms, and half (n=130; 51%) agreed that there was increased stigma around disclosure of mental health symptoms among Para athletes, compared with athletes without disability. Most HCPs (n=221; 86%) agreed they wanted to improve their knowledge and skills surrounding athlete mental healthcare. Culturally sensitivite, non-discriminatory and contextual factors were highlighted as desired areas of education for HCPs and active information dissemination for Para athletes. CONCLUSION: HCPs working at the Paralympic Games considered Para athlete mental healthcare important and reported perceived stigma, yet indicated low rates of mental health screening. Most respondents expressed the need for mental health education. Culturally sensitive training and active education strategies should be implemented to optimally manage Para athlete mental health.

The Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games was one of the largest international mass-gathering events held after the beginning of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. In this scoping review, we extracted papers discussing COVID-19 risk assessment or management at the Tokyo 2020 Games to determine the nature of studies that were conducted. Among the 75 papers obtained from two search engines (PubMed and ScienceDirect) and four papers collected from hand-searches, 30 papers were extracted. Only eight papers performed both COVID-19 prior risk assessment and quantitative evaluation of effectiveness measures, highlighting the importance of rapid, solution-focused risk assessment. Furthermore, this review revealed that the findings regarding the spread of COVID-19 infection to citizens in the host country were inconsistent depending on the assessment methods and that assessments of the spread of infection outside the host country were lacking.

Like many other countries, the economy and society of Japan have been severely affected by the COVID-19 outbreak, and the fishery sector particularly seafood is no exception. Among seafood, since luxury seafood is more commonly consumed at restaurants it has a higher possibility of getting affected by the pandemic compared with cheap popular seafood for the masses. Considering this motivation, this study investigates the variations in the COVID-19 impact on luxury and cheap seafood prices in the Tokyo Toyosu wholesale market. Using the non-linear autoregressive distributed lag model (NARDL), the study identifies that an increase in the hours of stay-at-home during the initial stage of the pandemic is causing a negative influence on both cheap and luxury seafood prices and that this negative impact was severer in the luxury seafood prices. The study also finds a positive influence from the hours of stay-at-home on some cheap popular seafood like horse mackerel and sardine during the third state of emergency (SOE) where at least most of the elderly people have received their first vaccine dose but the negative impact from the SOE measure remained on luxury seafood. It is evident from the findings that the luxury seafood market is heavily dependent on the restaurant sector, which will likely suffer adverse effects when human mobility is restricted. In the event of a pandemic like COVID-19, policymakers should stabilize the price and provide subsidies to the luxury seafood stakeholders.

OBJECTIVE: Socio-economic status (SES) and smoking are risk factors for periodontitis; however, their interaction has not been determined. We investigated the effect of modification of SES and smoking with periodontal conditions. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Data on the social background, smoking status, and dental examination of 1033 individuals residing in the Tokyo Metropolitan District were analyzed. The outcomes were the number of remaining teeth and the proportion of teeth with probing pocket depth (PPD) ≥ 4 mm and ≥ 6 mm. Multilevel linear and Poisson regression analyses were performed after adjusting for possible confounding factors, including SES, assessed by the average income of the residential area. RESULTS: The mean number of remaining teeth was 24.6 ± 4.8, and the proportion of teeth with PPD ≥ 4 mm and ≥ 6 mm was 31.2 ± 28.5% and 12.2 ± 18.1%, respectively. After adjusting for confounding factors, the lowest-income population had significantly lesser teeth (coefficient: - 0.46, 95% CI - 0.89, 0.02, p = 0.039) and a higher proportion of teeth with PPD ≥ 4 mm than the highest-income population (ratio of means: 1.22, 95% CI 1.03-1.44, p = 0.013). Significant interactions were observed; income inequalities in periodontitis were significant only among current smokers. CONCLUSION: Inequality in socio-economic status is associated with oral health inequalities. The adverse effects of smoking on periodontitis might be greater in the low-income population. CLINICAL RELEVANCE: The low-income population, especially current smokers, had significantly more compromised oral health than the high-income population. In addition to the emphasis on smoking cessation, the promotion of universal health coverage for dental care is necessary to reduce oral health inequalities.

We investigated the spatial distribution, mass profiles, and benthic risk assessment of a wide range of methylsiloxanes (MSs), including 7 cyclic MSs (CMSs; D3-D9; the number refers to the number of SiO bonds), 13 linear MSs (LMSs; L3-L15), and 15 modified and other MSs (MMSs) in sediments from the Tokyo Bay catchment basin, Japan. We observed widespread distribution of MSs (ΣCMS, ΣLMS, and ΣMMS) in the sediment samples, with concentrations of 1.0-6180 ng/g dry weight (dw), 1.8-10,100 ng/g dw, and < 0.31-210 ng/g dw, respectively. Our study is the first to measure various MMSs modified with hydrogen, vinyl, or phenyl groups; however, only methyltris(trimethylsiloxy)silane and phenyltris(trimethylsiloxy)silane were detected with high occurrence frequency. Notably, no elevated concentrations of MSs were observed downstream of silicone manufacturers, whereas the sediment was characterized by a specific D4/D5 ratio. With the Si-based mass profiles in extractable organosilicon (EOSi), the measured CMSs, LMSs, and MMSs accounted for 5.4%, 7.8%, and 0.2%, respectively. Unidentified EOSi (unknown fraction) constituted a major proportion of the EOSi in the sediment, with a mean of 87%, suggesting that the organosilicon environmental emissions were more than the measured MSs. In risk assessment of the adverse effects of D4, D5, and D6 in sediment on benthic organisms, the respective distributions indicated no overlap between the 95th percentile field sediment concentration and the 5th percentile chronic sediment no-effect concentration in organic carbon-normalized concentration. Although the hazard quotient compared with the predicted no-effect concentration for D5 and D6 exceeded the threshold level (hazard quotient ≥1), the results of probabilistic risk assessment for the three CMSs were not high enough to indicate a threat to benthic organisms in the study area.

INTRODUCTION: The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) conducted an external quality assessment (EQA) survey of pathogen nucleic acid amplification tests (NAATs) as a TMG EQA program for SARS-CoV-2 for clinical laboratories in Tokyo. METHODS: We diluted and prepared a standard product manufactured by Company A to about 2,500 copies/mL to make a positive control and distribute it with a negative control. The participants reported the use of the NAATs methods for SARS-CoV-2, the name of the real-time RT-PCR kit, the name of the detection device, the target gene(s), nucleic acid extraction kit, Threshold Cycle value in the case of RT-PCR and the Threshold time value and Differential calculation value in the case of Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP) method. RESULTS: As a result, 17 laboratories using fully automated equipment and 34 laboratories using the RT-PCR method reported generally appropriate results in this EQA survey. On the other hand, among the laboratories that adopted the LAMP method, there were a plurality of laboratories that judged positive samples to be negative. CONCLUSION: The false negative result is considered to be due to the fact that the amount of virus genome contained in the quality control reagent used this time was below the detection limit of the LAMP method combined with the rapid extraction reagent for influenza virus. On the other hand, false positive results are considered to be due to the non-specific reaction of the NAATs. The EQA program must be continued for the proper implementation of the pathogen NAATs.

Seismic ambient noise with frequencies > 1 Hz includes noise related to human activities. A reduction in seismic noise during the COVID-19 pandemic has been observed worldwide, as restrictions were imposed to control outbreaks of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. In this context, we studied the effect of changes in anthropogenic activities during COVID-19 on the seismic noise levels in the Tokyo metropolitan area, Japan, considering time of day, day of the week, and seasonal changes. The results showed the largest reduction in noise levels during the first state of emergency under most conditions. After the first state of emergency was lifted, the daytime noise reverted to previous levels immediately on weekdays and gradually on Sundays. This was likely because economic activities instantly resumed, while non-essential outings on Sundays were still mostly avoided. Furthermore, the daytime noise level on Sundays was strongly reduced regardless of changes on weekdays after the second state of emergency, which restricted activities mainly at night. Sunday noise levels gradually increased from the middle of the second state of emergency, suggesting a gradual reduction in public concern about COVID-19 following a decrease in the number of infections. Our findings demonstrate that seismic noise can be used to monitor social activities.

Introduction: As of June 7, 2021, the outbreak of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has spread to more than 200 countries. The global number of reported cases is more than 172.9 million, with more than 3.7 million deaths, and the number of infected individuals is still growing rapidly. Consequently, events and activities around the world were canceled or postponed, and the preparation for sporting events were greatly challenged. Under such circumstances, about 11,000 athletes from ~206 countries are arriving in Tokyo for the 32nd Summer Olympic Games. Therefore, it is urgently necessary to assess the occurrence and spread risk of COVID-19 for the Games. Objectives: To explore effective prevention and control measures for COVID-19 in large international events through simulations of different interventions according to risk assessment. Methods: We used a random model to calculate the number of initial infected patients and used Poisson distribution to determine the number of initial infected patients based on the number of countries involved. Furthermore, to simulate the COVID-19 transmission, the susceptible-exposed-symptomatic-asymptomatic-recovered-hospitalized (SEIARH) model was established based on the susceptible-exposed-infectious-recovered (SEIR) mathematical model of epidemic diseases. According to risk assessment indicators produced by different scenarios of the simulated interventions, the risk of COVID-19 transmission in Tokyo Olympic Games was assessed. Results: The current COVID-19 prevention measures proposed by the Japan Olympic Committee need to be enhanced. And large-scale vaccination will effectively control the spread of COVID-19. When the protective efficacy of vaccines is 78.1% or 89.8%, and if the vaccination rate of athletes reaches 80%, an epidemic prevention barrier can be established.

In Japan, despite its private-dominant and disjointed health-care system, national initiatives to coordinate various types of health-care facilities are lacking. Municipal governments manage this task with limited resources. This study describes a successful example of a bottom-up approach to create city-wide collaboration for disaster preparedness. In Minato City, located in central Tokyo, a group of physicians created a project involving a city-wide disaster medical care drill. The city Public Health Center, in charge of health-care systems including disaster medicine, helped the group to increase proponents of the project. The city-wide disaster drill started in November 2017; thereafter, the drills were held every year. Participation in drills by various health-care personnel helped establish a city-wide system for disaster medical care, coordination mechanisms among stakeholders, increased motivation among health-care personnel, and development of in-hospital systems. This approach is flexible and applicable to various forms of health-care systems in other areas.

BACKGROUND: The Olympic preparation of athletes has been highly influenced by COVID and post-COVID syndrome. As the complex screening of athletes is essential for safe and successful sports, we aimed to repeat the 2019-year sports cardiology screening of the Olympic Swim Team before the Olympics and to compare the results of COVID and non-COVID athletes. METHODS: Patient history, electrocardiogram, laboratory tests, body composition analysis, echocardiography, cardiopulmonary exercise test (CPET) were performed. We used time-ranking points to compare swimming performance. RESULTS: From April 2019, we examined 46 elite swimmers (24 ± 4 years). Fourteen swimmers had COVID infection; all cases were mild. During CPET there was no difference in the performance of COVID (male: VO2 max 55 ± 4 vs. 56.5 ± 5 mL/kg/min, p = 0.53; female: VO2 max 54.6 ± 4 vs. 56 ± 5.5 mL/kg/min, p = 0.86) vs. non-COVID athletes (male VO2 max 56.7 ± 5 vs. 55.5 ± 4.5 mL/kg/min, p = 0.50; female 49.6 ± 3 vs. 50.7 ± 2.6 mL/kg/min, p = 0.47) between 2019 and 2021. When comparing the time results of the National Championships, 54.8% of the athletes showed an improvement (p = 0.75). CONCLUSIONS: COVID infection with short-term detraining did not affect the performance of well-trained swimmers. According to our results, the COVID pandemic did not impair the effectiveness of the preparation for the Tokyo Olympics.

AIM: To clarify the factors associated with a decreased activity in elderly requiring support/care. METHODS: We included 340 of the 671 people receiving outpatient rehabilitation services under the long-term care insurance system in the present study. These subjects were classified as the favorable motor function group, based on the findings from previous studies, as they required ≤12 seconds to complete the Timed Up & Go test (TUG) task. All of the subjects agreed to participate in the study. The study items were as follows: the LSA score; age; sex; diagnosis name; care grade; number of family members living together; number of times the service was used; TUG score; hand grip strength; scores from the Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Gerontology Index of Competence, Fall Efficacy Scale (FES), Geriatric Depression Scale Short-Version (Japanese), subjective health, and Japanese version of the Six-item Lubben Social Network Scale score; hobbies; role in the household; availability of nearby public transportation services; presence of accessible supermarkets; and presence of pain. On a statistical analysis, we divided the subjects into 2 groups based on their LSA scores: those with a decreased activity (<56) and those with a favorable function/activity (≥56). We then conducted the unpaired t-test and chi-square test to examine these binary variables. Subsequently, we performed a multiple logistic regression analysis with the binary variables as dependent variables. For statistical processing, we used the SPSS Statistics software program, ver. 25, and set the significance level at <5%. RESULTS: Among the 340 subjects, 139 and 201 were categorized as the decreased activity and favorable function/activity groups, respectively. Through a multiple logistic regression analysis, we obtained the following odds ratios: Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL), 0.608 (95% confidence interval: 0.453-0.816); FES, 0.908 (0.855-0.963); and availability of nearby public transportation services, 0.619 (0.390-0.982). CONCLUSIONS: These results suggested the feasibility of identifying factors associated with decreased activity by appropriately conducting assessments using the IADL and FES and availability of nearby public transportation services.

AIM: Children with special health care needs (CSHCN) are those who require more care for their physical, developmental, or emotional differences than their typically developing peers. Among a wide range of burdens that caregivers of CSHCN experience, the mental burden of caregivers is still not well investigated. This study aimed at examining the relationship between caring for CSHCN and mothers' anxiety/depression. METHODS: This study used data from the Tokyo Early Adolescence Survey, a population-based cross-sectional survey. Using screening questionnaires, we evaluated the prevalence of CSHCN and identified their primary caregivers. Focusing on mothers as caregivers, we analyzed the relationship between having CSHCN and mothers' anxiety/depression, and between the severity of children's condition and mothers' anxiety/depression. We further determined what mediates these relationships using path analyses. RESULTS: Among 4003 participants, we identified 502 CSHCN (12.5%), and 93% of responding caregivers were mothers. We found that mothers with CSHCN were significantly more anxious/depressed than those without CSHCN, which was closely related to the severity of children's condition. The mediation effect of social support on the relation between CSHCN and mothers' anxiety/depression was statistically significant. CONCLUSION: Mothers of CSHCN were more anxious/depressed than other mothers in this study. Social support was indicated to have a significant mediating effect on the relationship between CSHCN and mothers' anxiety/depression. Our results suggest that considering ways to offer social support may effectively relieve the mental stress experienced by mothers of CSHCN.

OBJECTIVES: An association has been reported between delays in the onset-to-door (O2D) time for mechanical thrombectomy (MT) and outbreaks of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). However, the association between other MT time courses or functional outcomes and COVID-19 outbreaks remains unclear. We compared the time courses of stroke pathways or functional outcomes in 2020 (the COVID-19 era) with those in 2019 (the pre-COVID-19 era) in Tokyo, Japan. MATERIALS AND METHODS: This retrospective observational study used data from the Tokyo-tama-REgistry of Acute endovascular Thrombectomy (TREAT), a multicenter registry of MT for acute large vessel occlusion in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area. Patients who had undergone acute MT from January 2019 to December 2020 were included. Patients were classified by the year they had undergone MT (2019 or 2020). RESULTS: In total, 477 patients were analyzed. O2D time was significantly longer in 2020 (146.0 min) than in 2019 (105.0 min; p = 0.034). No significant difference in door-to-puncture time (D2P) time or modified Rankin Scale (mRS) score 0-2 at 90 days was seen between 2019 and 2020. In the subgroup analysis, O2D time was significantly longer in the first half of 2020 compared with 2019. Multivariable logistic regression analysis revealed that the year 2020 was a independent predictor of longer O2D time, but not for mRS score 0-2 at 90 days. CONCLUSIONS: Although O2D time was significantly longer in the COVID-19 compared with the pre-COVID-19 era, D2P may not be significantly delayed and functional outcomes may not be different, despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

RESUMO

Incident reports are important for improving the quality and safety of medical care. Healthcare workers with less than one year of work experience have been reported to cause the most incidents, and the most common incident is "drug-related". However, few studies have comprehensively analyzed incidents in dentistry, and the characteristics of dental incidents have not been understood. In this study, to understand the characteristics of dental incidents, we comprehensively analyzed 1291 incident reports submitted to the Tokyo Medical and Dental University Dental Hospital from April 2014 to March 2019. As a result, dental outpatient and dental wards had different types of incidents. In outpatient wards, incidents included many dentistry-specific incidents related to "procedures". Among them, "poor physical condition of the patient during dental treatment" was the most common incident. In contrast, the most common incident from subjects with less than one year of work experience was "damage to soft tissues around the teeth". Thus, to improve the quality and safety in dentistry, it is was considered necessary to analyze and understand the characteristics of dentistry-specific incidents and to take appropriate measures and educate dental professionals.

OBJECTIVE: To assess the association of coprescribed medications for chronic comorbid conditions with clinical dementia in older adults, as indicated by the initiation of a new prescription of antidementia medication (NPADM). DESIGN: Retrospective enumeration cohort study. SETTING: A Japanese city in Tokyo Metropolitan Area. PARTICIPANTS: A total of 42 024 adults aged ≥77 years residing in Kashiwa City, a suburban city of Tokyo Metropolitan Area, who did not have any prscription of antidementia medication from 1 April to 30 June 2012. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURE: The primary outcome was NPADM during follow-up period until 31 March 2015 (35 months). Subjects were categorised into four age groups: group 1 (77-81 years), group 2 (82-86 years), group 3 (87-91 years) and group 4 (≥92 years). In addition to age and sex, 14 sets of medications prescribed during the initial background period (from 1 April 2012 and 31 June 2012) were used as covariates in a Cox proportional hazard model. RESULTS: In a follow-up period of 1 345 457 person-months (mean=32.0±7.5 months, median 35 months), NPADM occurred in 2365 subjects. NPADM incidence at 12 months was 1.9%±0.1% (group 1: 0.9%±0.1%, group 2: 2.1%±0.1%, group 3: 3.2%±0.2% and group 4: 3.6%±0.3%; p<0.0001). In addition to older age and female sex, use of the following medications was significantly associated with NPADM: statins (HR: 0.82, 95% CI 0.73 to 0.92; p=0.001), antihypertensives (HR: 0.80, 95% CI 0.71 to 0.85; p<0.0001), non-steroidal bronchodilators (HR: 0.72, 95% CI 0.58 to 0.88; p=0.002), antidepressants (HR: 1.79, 95% CI 1.47 to 2.18; p<0.0001), poststroke medications (HR: 1.45, 95% CI 1.16 to 1.82; p=0.002), insulin (HR: 1.34, 95% CI 1.01 to 1.78; p=0.046) and antineoplastics (HR: 1.12, 95% CI 1.01 to 1.24; p=0.035). CONCLUSIONS: This retrospective cohort study identified the associations of coprescribed medications for chronic comorbid conditions with NPADM in older adults. These findings would be helpful in understanding the current clinical practice for dementia in real-world setting and potentially contribute to healthcare policymaking. Forecasting the stock market prices is complicated and challenging since the price movement is affected by many factors such as releasing market news about earnings and profits, international and domestic economic situation, political events, monetary policy, major abrupt affairs, etc. In this work, a novel framework: deep predictor for price movement (DPP) using candlestick charts in the stock historical data is proposed. This framework comprises three steps: 1. decomposing a given candlestick chart into sub-charts; 2. using CNN-autoencoder to acquire the best representation of sub-charts; 3. applying RNN to predict the price movements from a collection of sub-chart representations. An extensive study is operated to assess the performance of the DPP based models using the trading data of Taiwan Stock Exchange Capitalization Weighted Stock Index and a stock market index, Nikkei 225, for the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Three baseline models based on IEM, Prophet, and LSTM approaches are compared with the DPP based models.

OBJECTIVE: To describe the implementation of a health monitoring programme for Norwegian Paralympic and Olympic candidates over five consecutive Olympic and Paralympic Games cycles (London 2012, Sochi 2014, Rio de Janeiro 2016, PyeongChang 2018 and Tokyo 2020). METHODS: Athletes were monitored for 12-18 months preparing for the games using a weekly online questionnaire (OSTRC-H2) with follow-up by physicians and physiotherapists, who provided clinical care and classified reported problems. RESULTS: Between 2011 and 2020, 533 Olympic and 95 Paralympic athletes were included in the monitoring programme, with an overall response of 79% to the weekly questionnaire and a total observation period of 30 826 athlete weeks. During this time, 3770 health problems were reported, with a diagnosis rate of 97%. The average prevalence of health problems at any given time was 32% among Olympic athletes and 37% among Paralympic athletes. Acute traumatic injuries represented the greatest burden for Olympic team sport athletes, and illnesses represented the greatest burden for Olympic endurance and Paralympic athletes. On average, Olympic athletes lost 27 days and Paralympic athletes lost 33 days of training per year due to health problems. CONCLUSION: Conducting long-term health monitoring of Olympic and Paralympic athletes is challenging, particularly because athletes travel frequently and often relate to many medical providers. This programme has been implemented and improved within Team Norway for five Olympic and Paralympic cycles and during this time we believe it has helped protect our athletes' health.
