ABSTRACT
We present the case of a 14-year-old adolescent boy with a history of poorly controlled asthma and a final diagnosis of a bridge bronchus associated with sling of the left pulmonary artery. Regarding the case report, we describe the characteristic findings in computerized tomography multidetector of the thorax, its classification, and the most relevant information about this malformation. Congenital malformations of the tracheobronchial tree may occur in the context of asymptomatic or symptomatic respiratory patients. These malformations may be associated with other vascular, tracheal, and syndromes with multiorgan involvement. Although most patients are asymptomatic, some of them will have nonspecific symptoms without a clear etiology or will be diagnosed incidentally during the diagnostic evaluation of other pathologies. It is important to know and recognize the normal anatomy and its variations, since radiology undoubtedly plays a fundamental role in the diagnosis and preoperative assessment of these malformations, which although they have low incidence, must be identified in a timely manner by the specialist in diagnostic images.
ABSTRACT
Genitourinary tuberculosis is the second most common form of extrapulmonary tuberculosis after lymph node involvement; tuberculous epididymitis preferentially affects patients between the ages of 30 and 50 years, and at least 70% have a previous history of pulmonary tuberculosis, tuberculous infection scrotum is rare and occurs in approximately 7% of patients with tuberculosis by direct extension from the epididymis, posing problems of differential diagnosis with more aggressive processes such as testicular tumors. We report the case of a 23-year-old man with a testicular mass that emulated being of neoplastic origin, taken to unilateral orchidectomy. The pathology describes necrosis and caseification granulomas, conclusive for tuberculous orchiepididymitis, an immunocompetent patient with no previous history of tuberculosis

Objective: To describe the radiological characteristics of congenital pulmonary and airway malformations which are frequently found in pediatric patients, from three hospitals in Bogotá between the years 2010 - 2016. Materials and methods: Retrospective, observational and descriptive study with a sample of 27 patients, with an average age of 5 months, who met inclusion criteria: patients between 0 months and 17 years of age, with a confirmed diagnosis of congenital malformation of the lung, who underwent surgery for lung or airway lesion and whose histopathological study was compatible with congenital malformation of the lung. Results: The prevalence of congenital malformations is higher in females. 80% of cases had prenatal diagnosis, with cystic adenomatoid malformation being the most common and the main radiological feature being the cyst. Conclusion: Computed tomography allows detailed studies of these malformations, achieving greater accuracy compared to conventional techniques such as chest radiography and ultrasound.
