Particle rafts are a new kind of soft matter formed by self-organization on the interface, which possesses mechanical properties between fluid and solid, and they have been widely used in many industrial fields. In the present study, the compression experiment of a circular particle raft is first performed, where an SDS (sodium dodecyl sulfate)-coated metal ring is placed around its periphery. When the surfactant diffuses, the particle raft shrinks, and its shrinkage ratio increases with the increase in the surfactant concentration, where the experimental results are consistent with the numerical simulation. Next, the relationship between the initial surface tension difference of SDS and the radius shrinkage of the particle raft is obtained by dimensional analysis. In what follows, the diffusion model is built to quantify the diffusion process of SDS at the liquid-gas interface, and then the analytical concentration solution of the concentration of SDS at the periphery of particle raft is given. The particle raft is viewed as an elastic circular plate under the action of the radial pressure, which originates from the surface tension difference, which has been verified by the experimental result. These explorations cast a new light on how to apply loads to measure mechanical properties of soft matter, which also provide some inspirations on the design of microsensors and microfluidics.

OBJECTIVES: Oral mucoceles are most frequently encountered on the lower lip. A variety of treatment options are currently employed, including surgical excision, pharmacological injections, and laser therapy. However, each of these approaches may introduce risks and potential complications. Clinical practice has demonstrated a potential for self-healing in lower lip mucoceles, making a conservative observational approach more appealing. This research is a prospective study aimed at evaluating the self-healing capacity of lower lip mucoceles. METHODS: In this prospective study, patients with mucoceles were encouraged to intentionally delay medical intervention and to wait for self-healing. Disappearance of the mucocele for at least 3 months was defined as self-healing. RESULTS: Thirty patients with lower lip mucoceles were included. With no intervention, 24 patients (80%) reported self-healing of lower lip mucoceles. The mean natural duration of the mucoceles was 3.63 (± 4.7; 1-24) months. After self-healing of the mucocele, the patients were followed up for 17.21 (± 9.45; 2-30) months and there were no reported recurrences. CONCLUSIONS: Lower lip mucoceles have a high potential for self-healing and patients may be routinely encouraged to wait for self-healing. CLINICAL RELEVANCE: The high self-healing rate observed in this study suggests that a conservative, non-interventional approach might be considered as the first-line management for lower lip mucoceles.

UAVs have been widely used in deformation monitoring because of their high availability and flexibility. However, the quality of UAV images is affected by changing attitude and surveying environments, resulting in a low monitoring accuracy. Cross-shaped markers are used to improve the accuracy of UAV monitoring due to their distinct center contrast and absence of eccentricity. However, existing methods cannot rapidly and precisely detect these markers in UAV images. To address these problems, this paper proposes an adaptive Radon-transform-based marker detection and localization method for UAV displacement measurements, focusing on two critical detection parameters, namely, the radius of marker information acquisition and the edge width of the cross-shaped scoring template. The experimental results show that the marker detection rate is 97.2% under different combinations of flight altitudes, radius ratios of marker information acquisition, and marker sizes. Furthermore, the root mean square error of detection and localization is 0.57 pixels, significantly surpassing the performance and accuracy of other methods. We also derive the critical detection radius and appropriate parameter combinations for different heights to further improve the practicality of the method.

In the present study, the morphology evolution of a particle raft with a preprepared crack, which is caused by injecting the surfactant sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) into water, is demonstrated. Experimental results on the process of crack closure and configuration evolution are captured and are in excellent agreement with the numerical simulations. Then a surface diffusion model on SDS is proposed to quantify the detailed physical scenario. The surface diffusion factor is determined through the shooting method based on the experimental result of dynamic surface tension. As a result, the analytical solution for the SDS concentration distribution is given. The theoretical result on the dependence relationship between the profile shrinkage ratio and the time variable is consistent with the experimental result. At last, the relation between the initial surface tension difference of SDS and the profile shrinkage ratio is obtained in the light of experiments and dimensional analysis, and the two results are very close. These analyses provide a comprehensive understanding of the coupling between chemicals and mechanical behaviors of soft matter, and the modulation of defects in the particle raft provides some inspiration for engineering new devices at the microscale.

BACKGROUND: Fear of cancer recurrence (FCR) is a multidimensional construct; however, few studies have meaningfully integrated FCR severity (i.e., level of fear) with FCR-related concepts (e.g., triggers). PURPOSE: The present study determined (a) latent profiles of FCR; (b) socio-demographic variations between identified profiles; (c) interactions between identified profiles and resilience and rumination on chronic physical disorders, depressive/anxiety symptoms, and quality of life. METHODS: The present study is a secondary data analysis of which 404 cancer survivors were included in this study. All participants completed the Fear of Cancer Recurrence Inventory and measures of resilience, rumination, depressive/anxiety symptoms, and quality of life. RESULTS: Latent profile analysis identified three distinct profiles based on varying levels of FCR and FCR-related concepts; Profile 1 "Low FCR" (n = 108; 26.4%), Profile 2 "Moderate FCR, High coping" (n = 197; 49.4%), and Profile 3 "High FCR, distress and impairment" (n = 99; 24.3%). Profile 3 was associated with younger age and history of radiotherapy. Latent profiles of FCR significantly interacted with resilience and rumination on depressive/anxiety symptoms. CONCLUSIONS: Latent profile analysis integrates FCR severity and FCR-related concepts to support a nuanced understanding of FCR. Our results suggest specific points of intervention, which extend beyond addressing FCR severity.

Reliable and controllable growth of two-dimensional (2D) hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) is essential for its wide range of applications. Substrate engineering is one of the critical factors that influence the growth of the epitaxial h-BN films. Here, we report the growth of monolayer h-BN on Ni (111) substrates incorporated with oxygen atoms via molecular beam epitaxy. It was found that the increase of incorporated oxygen concentration in the Ni substrate through a pretreatment process prior to the h-BN growth step would have an adverse effect on the morphology and growth rate of 2D h-BN. Under the same growth condition, h-BN monolayer coverage decreases exponentially as the amount of oxygen incorporated into Ni (111) increases. Density functional theory calculations and climbing image nudged elastic band (CI-NEB) method reveal that the substitutional oxygen atoms can increase the diffusion energy barrier of B and N atoms on Ni (111) thereby inhibiting the growth of h-BN films. As-grown large-area h-BN monolayer films and fabricated Al/h-BN/Ni (MIM) nanodevices were comprehensively characterized to evaluate the structural, optical and electrical properties of high-quality monolayers. Direct tunneling mechanism and high breakdown strength of ∼11.2 MV cm-1are demonstrated for the h-BN monolayers grown on oxygen-incorporated Ni (111) substrates, indicating that these films have high quality. This study provides a unique example that heterogeneous catalysis principles can be applied to the epitaxy of 2D crystals in solid state field. Similar strategies can be used to grow other 2D crystalline materials, and are expected to facilitate the development of next generation devices based on 2D crystals.

Circular RNAs (circRNAs) have important regulation in in sepsis-related acute lung injury (ALI). Circ_0001498 was significantly overexpressed in sepsis-induced acute respiratory distress syndrome. The aims of this study were to explore role and mechanism of circ_0001498 in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-treated WI-38 cells. Human samples were collected from 56 sepsis patients and 46 healthy volunteers at Liyang People's Hospital. Circ_0001498, microRNA-574-5p (miR-574-5p) or sex-determining region Y-related high-mobility-group box 6 (SOX6) levels were detected via reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction assay. Cell viability was determined through Cell Counting Kit-8 assay. Apoptosis rate was examined by flow cytometry. Western blot was used for measurement of proteins. Inflammatory cytokines were detected via enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Target relation was analyzed via dual-luciferase reporter assay and RNA immunoprecipitation (RIP) assay. Circ_0001498 was overexpressed in sepsisrelated ALI patients and LPS-treated WI-38 cells. Silencing circ_0001498 reduced LPS-induced cell apoptosis and inflammation. Circ_0001498 interacted with miR-574-5p. The regulation of circ_0001498 knockdown was abolished by miR-574-5p inhibitor. Furthermore, miR-574-5p directly targeted SOX6 and circ_0001498 upregulated SOX6 via targeting miR-574-5p. Overexpression of miR-574-5p alleviated LPS-induced cell injury by downregulating SOX6. This research identified that circ_0001498 facilitated sepsis-related ALI progression by targeting miR-574-5p to upregulate SOX6.

OBJECTIVES: To identify the role and mechanism of a male specific gene, SRY, in I/R-induced hepatic injury. BACKGROUND: Males are more vulnerable to I/R injury than females. However, the mechanism of these sex-based differences remains poorly defined. METHODS: Clinicopathologic data of patients who underwent hepatic resection were identified from an international multi-institutional database. Liver specific SRY TG mice were generated, and subjected to I/R insult with their littermate WT controls in vivo. In vitro experiments were performed by treating primary hepatocytes from TG and WT mice with hypoxia/reoxygen-ation stimulation. RESULTS: Clinical data showed that postoperative aminotransferase level, incidence of overall morbidity and liver failure were markedly higher among 1267 male versus 508 female patients who underwent hepatic resection. SRY was dramatically upregulated during hepatic I/R injury. Overexpression of SRY in male TG mice and ectopic expression of SRY in female TG mice exacerbated liver I/R injury compared with WTs as manifested by increased inflammatory reaction, oxidative stress and cell death in vivo and in vitro. Mechanistically, SRY interacts with Glycogen synthase kinase-3ß (GSK-3ß) and ß-catenin, and promotes phosphorylation and degradation of ß-catenin, leading to suppression of the downstream FOXOs, and activation of NF-κBand TLR4 signaling. Furthermore, activation of ß-catenin almost completely reversed the SRYoverexpression-mediated exacerbation of hepatic I/R damage. CONCLUSIONS: SRY is a novel hepatic I/R mediator that promotes hepatic inflammatory reaction, oxidative stress and cell necrosis via inhibiting Wnt/ß-catenin signaling, which accounts for the sex-based disparity in hepatic I/R injuries.

OBJECTIVE: Care for fear of cancer recurrence (FCR) is considered the most common unmet need among cancer survivors. Yet the prevalence of FCR and predisposing factors remain inconclusive. To support targeted care, we provide a comprehensive overview of the prevalence and severity of FCR among cancer survivors and patients, as measured using the short form of the validated Fear of Cancer Recurrence Inventory (FCRI-SF). We also report on associations between FCR and clinical and demographic characteristics. METHODS: This is a systematic review and individual participant data (IPD) meta-analysis on the prevalence of FCR. In the review, we included all studies that used the FCRI-SF with adult (≥18 years) cancer survivors and patients. Date of search: 7 February 2020. Risk of bias was assessed using the Joanna Briggs Institute critical appraisal tool. RESULTS: IPD were requested from 87 unique studies and provided for 46 studies comprising 11,226 participants from 13 countries. 9311 respondents were included for the main analyses. On the FCRI-SF (range 0-36), 58.8% of respondents scored ≥13, 45.1% scored ≥16 and 19.2% scored ≥22. FCR decreased with age and women reported more FCR than men. FCR was found across cancer types and continents and for all time periods since cancer diagnosis. CONCLUSIONS: FCR affects a considerable number of cancer survivors and patients. It is therefore important that healthcare providers discuss this issue with their patients and provide treatment when needed. Further research is needed to investigate how best to prevent and treat FCR and to identify other factors associated with FCR. The protocol was prospectively registered (PROSPERO CRD42020142185).

OBJECTIVES: Transdiagnostic risk factors-disrupted processes common to psychopathology-link adverse childhood experiences to severe mental disorders (i.e. major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia spectrum disorders); however, transdiagnostic protective factors are understudied. The present study investigated the association between a positive mental health framework of protective intra- and interpersonal resources and severe mental disorders in individuals with adverse childhood experiences. We hypothesized that (1) individuals with adverse childhood experiences will experience more severe mental disorders and poorer intra- and interpersonal resources than those without adverse childhood experiences; (2) intrapersonal (e.g. general coping) and interpersonal resources (e.g. emotional support) will interact to predict severe mental disorders. METHODS: A total of 1929 adults participated in this population-based study. Participants were assessed for adverse childhood experiences, severe mental disorders, and intra- and interpersonal resources (general coping, general affect, emotional support, interpersonal skills, spirituality, and personal growth and autonomy) via structured interviews and self-reports. RESULTS: As hypothesized, individuals with adverse childhood experiences (62.6%) experienced more severe mental disorders and poorer intra- and interpersonal resources than those without adverse childhood experiences. Among those with adverse childhood experiences, emotional support interacted with general coping and general affect to predict severe mental disorders; general coping and general affect were negatively associated with severe mental disorders at high (+1 SD) and low (-1 SD) emotional support, respectively. CONCLUSIONS: The present study identified interactions between specific intrapersonal (i.e. general coping and general affect) and interpersonal resources (i.e. emotional support); knowing among whom and when to intervene are essential for optimal treatment of adverse childhood experiences and severe mental disorders.

There are currently few effective and safe pharmacologic means for inducing beige adipogenesis in humans. This study highlights the role of potato protease inhibitor II (PPI II) in regulating the browning of adipose tissue. The in vitro results showed that PPI II increased the expression of the uncoupling protein 1 (UCP1) protein and gene and beige-specific genes, including Cd137, Cited1, Tbx1, and Tmem26 in vitro. PPI II treatment for three months in diet-induced obesity mice increased the levels of the UCP1 protein in white adipose tissue, causing elevated energy expenditure, thus preventing obesity and improving glucose tolerance. Mechanistic studies further revealed that PPI II regulated the abundance and activity of ß3 adrenergic receptor (ß3 -AR) in white adipocytes. Chemical-inhibition experiments revealed the crucial role of ß3 -AR-dependent protein kinase A (PKA)-p38 kinase (p38)/extracellular signal-related kinase1/2 (ERK1/2) signaling in PPI II-mediated browning program of white adipose tissues. In summary, our findings highlight the role of PPI II in beige adipocyte differentiation and thermogenesis and provide new insights into its use in preventing obesity.

People in outdoor areas suffer from more heat stress than indoors during warm seasons due to the lack of shelters or cooling facilities. This problem is pressing with urban heat island and continuous global warming. Researchers have explored various strategies for ameliorating thermal stress, coining the term 'outdoor thermal environment (OTE)' for this area of study. It has been found that the OTE is affected by vegetation and other factors (i.e., geometry) of a location. There have been many studies on vegetation, with these conducted at various levels and using different methods. Several parameters have been used to characterise vegetation and have been found to statistically correlate with many thermal indices (i.e., physiologically equivalent temperature, PET; universal thermal climate index, UTCI etc.). This article reports on a review of journal papers that investigated the climatic regulations of vegetation. In this study vegetation-indicating parameters were clustered according to the methods, scope, and thermal indices. Studies involving large scales preferred general indicators (e.g., NDVI, vegetation cover etc.) whereas specific, detailed parameters (e.g., crown sizes) were more frequently used in studies of micro levels. Outdoor thermal environment studies involving vegetation were mostly conducted in regions with high heat stress levels. Also, remote sensing and meteorological station observation were more frequently used in large-scale studies, while small-scale studies preferred simulation and field measurements. Their findings were expressed by the statistical correlation between vegetation parameters and thermal indices. For instance, NDVI, LAI, and crown size were negatively correlating with temperatures. The findings of this study help inform directions for future vegetation studies regarding outdoor thermal environment designs. Researchers would be clearer on selection methods and thermal indices regarding their targets and supporting tools.

The mammary gland undergoes fast cell proliferation during early pregnancy, yet the mechanism to ensure genome integrity during this highly proliferative stage is largely unknown. We show that pregnancy triggers replicative stresses leading to genetic instability in mice carrying a mammary specific disruption of breast cancer associated gene-1 (BRCA1). The fast cell proliferation was correlated with enhanced expression of most genes encoding replisomes, which are positively regulated by estrogen/ERα signaling but negatively regulated by BRCA1. Our further analysis revealed two parallel signaling pathways, which are mediated by ATR-CHK1 and WEE1-MCM2 and are responsible for regulating DNA replication checkpoint. Upon DNA damage, BRCA1 deficiency markedly enhances DNA replication initiation and preferably impairs DNA replication checkpoint mediated by ATR and CHK1. Meanwhile, DNA damage also activates WEE1-MCM2 signaling, which inhibits DNA replication initiation and enables BRCA1-deficient cells to avoid further genomic instability. Finally, we demonstrated that overriding this defense by WEE1 inhibition in combination with cisplatin, which causes DNA damage, serves as a promising therapeutic approach for killing BRCA1-deficient cancer cells.

Black phosphorus (BP) is a novel two-dimensional nanostructure with wide potential applications in such areas as nanoresonators and nanosensors. In this study, we concentrate on the role of the bending stiffness of the BP monolayer in its mechanical performances, including tension, compression, buckling and bending. Firstly, the stress-strain curve and Young's modulus of the single layer black phosphorus (SLBP) nanoribbon with different chiral structures are obtained in the tension process via the molecular dynamics (MD) simulation. Next, the loading behavior of the SLBP nanoribbon during compression is simulated via MD. It was found that the bending stiffness of the nanoribbon has an essential effect on its postbuckling behaviors, and an empirical formula is proposed which can accurately depict the postbuckling process. Eventually, the bending properties of chiral SLBP nanoribbons are explored via the MD simulation, and the modified expression of the bending stiffness can better predict its large deflection. These findings are beneficial for us to fully understand mechanical responses of BP, which hold implications in engineering new materials and devices at nanoscale.

The recently synthesized monolayer diamond-diamane has proved to possess excellent mechanical and electrical properties, and it holds great potential in the field of nano-mass sensors. Herein, a molecular dynamics (MD) simulation is employed to systematically investigate the vibration response of the diamane nanoribbon (DNR) for the mass inspection. The results show that under different attached masses, the natural frequency of DNR is about three times of that of the bilayer graphene nanoribbon (BGNR) with the same size. The edge flatness of the DNR can be maintained during the vibration process, while the edge of the BGNR will warp in the initial state. Increasing the pre-strain can significantly increase the natural frequency of the DNR, leading to a higher response sensitivity of the DNR. In addition, the DNR has a higher mass resolution than the BGNR, and can detect smaller attached mass. The position of the attached mass in the resonator has a significant effect on the detection response. When the attached mass is near the center of the resonator, the frequency shift reaches the maximum value, and then it rapidly decreases to zero when the attached mass is close to the edge of DNR. Finally, the attached mass has no obvious effect on the quality factor of the DNR, and its value is stable between 105and 106orders of magnitude. The theoretical results demonstrate the accuracy of the MD results. The MD simulations reveal that the DNR has important implications as a resonant material for nano-mass sensor in the future.

BACKGROUND: Few studies have examined clinically relevant mechanisms that underlie the association between two important indices of recovery- depression severity and health-related quality of life (HRQOL) in psychiatric outpatients. This study aimed to explicate the roles of pain interference and pain severity as mediating and moderating mechanisms in the relationship between depressive symptoms and HRQOL. METHODS: Data from 290 outpatients diagnosed with schizophrenia (n = 102), depressive (n = 98), and anxiety (n = 90) disorders were examined. Participants completed a set of questionnaires that queried their sociodemographic statuses, current pain severity and interference levels, depression severity levels, and HRQOL. Subsequently, mediation and moderation analyses were conducted. RESULTS: Analyses revealed that pain interference fully mediated the relationship between depressive symptoms and physical (34% of the total effect) but not mental HRQOL. At high pain levels (+ 1 SD from mean), depressive symptoms may interfere with physical quality of life through pain interference, but this was not present at low pain levels (- 1 SD from mean). CONCLUSIONS: Prolonged pain symptoms could negatively influence psychiatric recovery beyond the physical aspect of HRQOL. These results thus imply a need to detect and manage severe physical pain complaints at the acute stage in psychiatric outpatients.

Cumulative lifetime trauma has a profound impact on the development of schizophrenia spectrum disorders. However, few studies have determined participants' most distressing (i.e., "worst") life event in childhood or adulthood or examined whether this event contributes to poorer clinical outcomes. The present study aimed to (a) determine the associations between the worst life event and demographic/clinical variables and (b) examine the associations between the worst life event and psychiatric symptoms (i.e., positive, negative, depressive, and anxiety symptoms). Participants (N = 150) were outpatients newly diagnosed with schizophrenia spectrum disorders who were assessed for lifetime trauma exposure, positive and negative symptoms of schizophrenia, and symptoms of depression and anxiety. Multinomial logistic regression analysis was conducted to examine the associations between demographic and clinical variables and worst life events (none, childhood, or adulthood). Multiple linear regression analyses were performed to examine the associations between worst life events and psychiatric symptoms. More participants reported that their worst life event occurred during adulthood (31.1%) than childhood (21.3%). Adulthood trauma was associated with male gender, older age, non-Chinese ethnicity, and psychiatric comorbidities; childhood trauma was associated with a family history of depression/anxiety. Adulthood trauma was significantly associated with more severe positive psychotic symptoms, f2 = 0.19, whereas childhood and adulthood trauma exposure were both significantly associated with more severe depressive and anxiety symptoms, f2 s = 0.19 and 0.25, respectively. Our findings underscore the importance of conducting assessments for worst life events and the associated risk factors to develop meaningful formulations and appropriate trauma-focused treatment plans.

OBJECTIVE: To study the clinical application of high-frequency ultrasound in the treatment of infantile hemangiomas. METHODS: Ultrasonographic data before and after treatment for 1 month, 3 months and 5 months were recorded from 80 patients with infantile hemangioma. The hemangioma was monitored dynamically with relevant indexes before and after treatment, and the treatment results were divided into 2 groups: the treatment-effective group of 70 cases and the treatment-ineffective group of 10 cases. The differences of tumor size, internal echo and hemodynamic parameters (peak arterial systolic flow velocity, resistance index and venous velocity) were compared before and after treatment, and reliable ultrasound observation indexes were summarized. RESULTS: After treatment, in the treatment-effective group, the thickness of tumor was reduced in all cases, the blood flow signals decreased in 55 cases, the peak systolic velocity decreased in 55 cases, resistance index increased in 55 cases, and venous flow velocity decreased in 53 cases; the differences were statistically significant compared with those before treatment (P < 0.05). The thickness of tumors was significantly decreased after 5 months of treatment compared with 1 month and 2 month treatment (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the longitudinal and transverse diameter of tumors after treatment (P > 0.05). In the treatment-ineffective group, there was no significant difference in the above indexes before and after treatment (P > 0.05). CONCLUSION: High-frequency ultrasound had primary application value in the treatment of infantile hemangiomas, where the change of tumor thickness provided the most important observational indicator.

Blunt traumatic thoracic aortic injury (BTAI) is an extremely serious medical condition with a high rate of associated mortality. Recent advances in techniques such as thoracic endovascular repair offer new opportunities to manage the critical BTAI patients in an efficacious yet less invasive manner. A 65 year-old-male suffered from multiple injuries after a fall, including BTAI in the aortic arch, which resulted in dissection of the descending thoracic-abdominal aorta and iliac artery, development of an intimal flap in the left common carotid artery, and dissection of the left subclavian artery. Based on the imaging information of this patient and our clinical experience, the combined treatment of fenestrated thoracic endovascular repair and a chimney technique was immediately planned to fully repair these dissections and moreover prevent further dissection of the branching vessels, additionally to ensure sufficient blood flow in the left subclavian artery and left common carotid artery. The intervention yielded satisfactory early outcomes. Follow-up assessment at six months reported no symptoms or complications associated with the stent-graft. Computed tomography angiography further confirmed adequate stent-graft coverage of the aortic injury.

BACKGROUND Osteosarcoma, the most common solid malignancy, has high incidence and mortality rates. We constructed a miRNA-based signature that can be used to assess the prognosis of osteosarcoma patients. MATERIAL AND METHODS The miRNA profile was derived from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) website, with matched clinical records. The miRNA-based overall survival (OS)-predicting signature was established by LASSO Cox regression analysis. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve and Kaplan-Meier (K-M) analyses were performed to examine the stability and discriminatory ability of the OS-predicting signatures. Pathway enrichment analyses were performed to uncover potential mechanisms. RESULTS Three miRNAs (miR-153, miR-212, and miR-591) independently related to the OS were extracted to build a risk score formula. The ROC curve and K-M analyses revealed good discrimination ability of the OS signature for osteosarcoma patients in both the training cohort (P=0.00015, AUC=0.962) and the validation cohort (P=0.0065, AUC=0.793). As shown in multivariate analysis, the classifier showed favorable predictive accuracy similar to the recurrence status to be an independent risk factor for osteosarcoma. Furthermore, the nomogram showed a synergistic effect by combining the clinicopathological features with our classifier. Also, the enrichment analyses of the target genes may contribute to improved treatment of osteosarcoma. CONCLUSIONS The 3-miRNA-based classifier serves as an effective prognosis-predicting signature for osteosarcoma patients.
