RESUMEN
Chiral superconductors, a unique class of unconventional superconductors in which the complex superconducting order parameter winds clockwise or anticlockwise in the momentum space1, represent a topologically non-trivial system with intrinsic time-reversal symmetry breaking (TRSB) and direct implications for topological quantum computing2,3. Intrinsic chiral superconductors are extremely rare, with only a few arguable examples, including UTe2, UPt3 and Sr2RuO4 (refs. 4-7). It has been suggested that chiral superconductivity may exist in non-centrosymmetric superconductors8,9, although such non-centrosymmetry is uncommon in typical solid-state superconductors. Alternatively, chiral molecules with neither mirror nor inversion symmetry have been widely investigated. We suggest that an incorporation of chiral molecules into conventional superconductor lattices could introduce non-centrosymmetry and help realize chiral superconductivity10. Here we explore unconventional superconductivity in chiral molecule intercalated TaS2 hybrid superlattices. Our studies reveal an exceptionally large in-plane upper critical field Bc2,|| well beyond the Pauli paramagnetic limit, a robust π-phase shift in Little-Parks measurements and a field-free superconducting diode effect (SDE). These experimental signatures of unconventional superconductivity suggest that the intriguing interplay between crystalline atomic layers and the self-assembled chiral molecular layers may lead to exotic topological materials. Our study highlights that the hybrid superlattices could lay a versatile path to artificial quantum materials by combining a vast library of layered crystals of rich physical properties with the nearly infinite variations of molecules of designable structural motifs and functional groups11.
RESUMEN
Wave-particle resonance, a ubiquitous process in the plasma universe, occurs when resonant particles observe a constant wave phase to enable sustained energy transfer. Here, we present spacecraft observations of simultaneous Landau and anomalous resonances between oblique whistler waves and the same group of protons, which are evidenced, respectively, by phase-space rings in parallel-velocity spectra and phase-bunched distributions in gyrophase spectra. Our results indicate the coupling between Landau and anomalous resonances via the overlapping of the resonance islands.

BACKGROUND: Human milk fortifier (HMF) composition has been optimized recently. But clinical evidence of its safety and efficacy is limited in Chinese population. The aim of this study was to evaluate effects of a new HMF in growth, nutritional status, feeding intolerance, and major morbidities among very preterm (VPT) or very low birth weight (VLBW) infants in China. METHODS: VPT/VLBW infants admitted from March 2020 to April 2021 were prospectively included in the experimental (new HMF, nHMF) group, who received a new powdered HMF as a breast milk feeding supplement during hospitalization. Infants in the control group (cHMF) admitted from January 2018 to December 2019, were retrospective included, and matched with nHMF group infants for gestational age and birth weight. They received other kinds of commercially available HMFs. Weight gain velocity, concentrations of nutritional biomarkers, incidence of major morbidities, and measures of feeding intolerance were compared between the two groups. RESULTS: Demographic and clinical characteristics of infants in nHMF and cHMF groups were comparable. Weight gain velocity had no significant difference between the nHMF (14.0 ± 3.5 g/kg/d) and the cHMF group (14.2 ± 3.8 g/kg/d; P = 0.46). Incidence of morbidities, including necrotizing enterocolitis, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, retinopathy of prematurity, culture-confirmed sepsis, and feeding intolerance during hospitalization between nHMF and cHMF, were similar (all P-values > 0.05). The time to achieve full enteral feeding [13.5 (10, 21) days] in the nHMF group was significantly shorter than that in the cHMF group [17 (12, 23) days, HR = 0.67, 95%CI: 0.49, 0.92; P = 0.01]. Compared with cHMF group, the decrease of blood urea nitrogen level over time in nHMF group was smaller (ß = 0.6, 95%CI:0.1, 1.0; P = 0.01). CONCLUSIONS: The new HMF can promote growth of preterm infants effectively without increasing the incidence of major morbidity and feeding intolerance. It can be used feasible in Chinese VPT/VLBW infants. TRIAL REGISTRATION: This study was registered on ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT04283799).

Tellurium (Te) is an elemental semiconductor with a simple chiral crystal structure. Te in a two-dimensional (2D) form synthesized by a solution-based method shows excellent electrical, optical, and thermal properties. In this work, the chirality of hydrothermally grown 2D Te is identified and analyzed by hot sulfuric acid etching and high-angle tilted high-resolution scanning transmission electron microscopy. The gate-tunable nonlinear electrical responses, including the nonreciprocal electrical transport in the longitudinal direction and the nonlinear planar Hall effect in the transverse direction, are observed in 2D Te under a magnetic field. Moreover, the nonlinear electrical responses have opposite signs in left- and right-handed 2D Te due to the opposite spin polarizations ensured by the chiral symmetry. The fundamental relationship between the spin-orbit coupling and the crystal symmetry in two enantiomers provides a viable platform for realizing chirality-based electronic devices by introducing the degree of freedom of chirality into electron transport.
RESUMEN
BACKGROUND: Radiotherapy is one of the effective methods for treatment of breast cancer; however, controversies still exist with respect to radiotherapy for patients with TNBC. Here, we intend to explore the mechanism by which local radiotherapy promotes the recruitment of M-MDSCs in the lung and increases the risk of lung metastasis in TNBC tumor-bearing mice. METHODS: A single dose of 20 Gy X-ray was used to locally irradiate the primary tumor of 4T1 tumor-bearing mice. Tumor growth, the number of pulmonary metastatic nodules, and the frequency of MDSCs were monitored in the mice. Antibody microarray and ELISA methods were used to analyze the cytokines in exosomes released by irradiated (IR) or non-IR 4T1 cells. The effects of the exosomes on recruitment of MDSCs and colonization of 4T1 cells in the lung of normal BALB/c mice were observed with the methods of FCM and pathological section staining. T lymphocytes or 4T1 cells co-cultured with MDSCs were performed to demonstrate the inhibitory effect on T lymphocytes or accelerative migration effect on 4T1 cells. Finally, a series of in vitro experiments demonstrated how the exosomes promote the recruitment of M-MDSCs in lung of mice. RESULTS: Even though radiotherapy reduced the burden of primary tumors and larger lung metastatic nodules (≥ 0.4 mm2), the number of smaller metastases (< 0.4 mm2) significantly increased. Consistently, radiotherapy markedly potentiated M-MDSCs and decreased PMN-MDSCs recruitment to lung of tumor-bearing mice. Moreover, the frequency of M-MDSCs of lung was positively correlated with the number of lung metastatic nodules. Further, M-MDSCs markedly inhibited T cell function, while there was no difference between M-MDSCs and PMN-MDSCs in promoting 4T1 cell migration. X-ray irradiation promoted the release of G-CSF, GM-CSF and CXCl1-rich exosomes, and facilitated the migration of M-MDSCs and PMN-MDSCs into the lung through CXCL1/CXCR2 signaling. While irradiated mouse lung extracts or ir/4T1-exo treated macrophage culture medium showed obvious selective chemotaxis to M-MDSCs. Mechanistically, ir/4T1-exo induce macrophage to produce GM-CSF, which further promoted CCL2 release in an autocrine manner to recruit M-MDSCs via CCL2/CCR2 axis. CONCLUSIONS: Our work has identified an undesired effect of radiotherapy that may promote immunosuppressive premetastatic niches formation by recruiting M-MDSCs to lung. Further studies on radiotherapy combined CXCR2 or CCR2 signals inhibitors were necessary.
RESUMEN
PURPOSE: Leptomeningeal carcinomatosis (LC) is a rare complication of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with highly mortality. Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) as a special kind of tumor microenvironment (TME) better represents alterations than plasma. However, the clinical value of protein profiles of exosome in CSF as liquid biopsy remains unclear. METHODS: In this study, CSF samples of NSCLC patients with (LC group) or without (NSCLC group) LC were collected and compared to patients without tumors (normal group). CSF exosomes were isolated by ultracentrifugation and protein profiles were performed by label-free proteomics. Differentially expressed proteins (DEPs) were detected by bioinformatics tools and verified by parallel reaction monitoring (PRM). RESULTS: A total of 814 proteins were detected. Bioinformatics analysis revealed their shared function in the complement activation, extracellular region, and complement and coagulation cascades. Between LC and NSCLC group, 72 DEPs were found among which FN1 demonstrated the highest betweenness centrality (BC) after protein-protein interaction network analysis. CONCLUSION: We investigated the application of label free and PRM based proteomics to detect key proteins related to LC. FN1 may serve as potential indicator to classify LC and NSCLC. Extracellular matrix (ECM) and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) are important in the process of LC. These data is promising for early prediction and diagnosis of LC.

To investigate the risk factors for death in critically ill neonates receiving continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT). This retrospective study analyzed the clinical data of critically ill neonates receiving CRRT at two tertiary hospitals from January 2015 to December 2021. A multi-factor logistic regression analysis was performed, and the predictive value of relevant risk factors on death was verified by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve. A total of 59 cases of critically ill neonates were included in this study, with a mortality of 37.3%. The most common primary disease in these cases was neonatal sepsis, followed by neonatal asphyxia, and inborn errors of metabolism (IEM). Univariate analysis showed that the risk factors related to death included primary diseases; the number of organs involved in multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS), neonatal critical illness scores (NCIS), and indications of CRRT; the blood lactate, blood glucose, hemoglobin, and platelet before CRRT initiation; and the incidence of bleeding or thrombosis during CRRT. Multi-factor logistic regression analysis showed that risk factors for death in critically ill neonates receiving CRRT included the occurrence of neonatal sepsis, the number of organs involved in MODS, and the NCIS. ROC curve analysis showed that the number of organs involved in MODS and NCIS had a good predictive value for death in critically ill neonates receiving CRRT, with the areas under the curve (AUC) being 0.700 and 0.810, respectively. CONCLUSION: Neonatal sepsis, the number of organs involved in MODS, and NCIS were independent risk factors for death in critically ill neonates receiving CRRT. Moreover, the number of organs involved in MODS and NCIS could effectively predict death in critically ill neonates receiving CRRT. WHAT IS KNOWN: ⢠The population to which CRRT is applicable is gradually expanding from critically ill children to critically ill neonates. ⢠The mortality of critically ill neonates receiving CRRT remains high. WHAT IS NEW: ⢠The most common primary disease in critically ill neonates receiving CRRT was neonatal sepsis, followed by neonatal asphyxia and inborn errors of metabolism (IEM). ⢠The number of organs involved in MODS and NCIS could effectively predict death in critically ill neonates receiving CRRT.

A distinct class of aurora, called transpolar auroral arc (TPA) (in some cases called "theta" aurora), appears in the extremely high-latitude ionosphere of the Earth when interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) is northward. The formation and evolution of TPA offers clues about processes transferring energy and momentum from the solar wind to the magnetosphere and ionosphere during a northward IMF. However, their formation mechanisms remain poorly understood and controversial. We report a mechanism identified from multiple-instrument observations of unusually bright, multiple TPAs and simulations from a high-resolution three-dimensional (3D) global MagnetoHydroDynamics (MHD) model. The observations and simulations show an excellent agreement and reveal that these multiple TPAs are generated by precipitating energetic magnetospheric electrons within field-aligned current (FAC) sheets. These FAC sheets are generated by multiple-flow shear sheets in both the magnetospheric boundary produced by Kelvin-Helmholtz instability between supersonic solar wind flow and magnetosphere plasma, and the plasma sheet generated by the interactions between the enhanced earthward plasma flows from the distant tail (less than -100 RE) and the enhanced tailward flows from the near tail (about -20 RE). The study offers insight into the complex solar wind-magnetosphere-ionosphere coupling processes under a northward IMF condition, and it challenges existing paradigms of the dynamics of the Earth's magnetosphere.
RESUMEN
The quantum anomalous Hall (QAH) effect has been demonstrated in two-dimensional topological insulator systems incorporated with ferromagnetism. However, a comprehensive understanding of mesoscopic transport in submicron QAH devices has not yet been established. Here we fabricated miniaturized QAH devices with channel widths down to 600 nm, where the QAH features are still preserved. A backscattering channel is formed in narrow QAH devices through percolative hopping between 2D compressible puddles. Large resistance fluctuations are observed in narrow devices near the coercive field, which is associated with collective interference between intersecting paths along domain walls when the device geometry is smaller than the phase coherence length L_{Ï}. Through measurement of size-dependent breakdown current, we confirmed that the chiral edge states are confined at the physical boundary with its width on the order of Fermi wavelength.

Tellurium (Te) is a narrow bandgap semiconductor with a unique chiral crystal structure. The topological nature of electrons in the Te conduction band can be studied by realizing n-type doping using atomic layer deposition (ALD) technique on two-dimensional (2D) Te film. In this work, we fabricated and measured the double-gated n-type Te Hall-bar devices, which can operate as two separate or coupled electron layers controlled by the top gate and back gate. Profound Shubnikov-de Haas (SdH) oscillations are observed in both top and bottom electron layers. Landau level hybridization between two layers, compound and charge-transferable bilayer quantum Hall states at filling factor ν = 4, 6, and 8, are analyzed. Our work opens the door for the study of Weyl physics in coupled bilayer systems of 2D materials.

OBJECTIVES: To determine the diagnostic and clinical utility of trio-rapid genome sequencing in critically ill infants. DESIGN: In this prospective study, samples from critically ill infants were analyzed using both proband-only clinical exome sequencing and trio-rapid genome sequencing (proband and biological parents). The study occurred between April 2019 and December 2019. SETTING: Thirteen member hospitals of the China Neonatal Genomes Project spanning 10 provinces were involved. PARTICIPANTS: Critically ill infants (n = 202), from birth up until 13 months of life were enrolled based on eligibility criteria (e.g., CNS anomaly, complex congenital heart disease, evidence of metabolic disease, recurrent severe infection, suspected immune deficiency, and multiple malformations). INTERVENTIONS: None. MEASUREMENTS AND MAIN RESULTS: Of the 202 participants, neuromuscular (45%), respiratory (22%), and immunologic/infectious (18%) were the most commonly observed phenotypes. The diagnostic yield of trio-rapid genome sequencing was higher than that of proband-only clinical exome sequencing (36.6% [95% CI, 30.1-43.7%] vs 20.3% [95% CI, 15.1-26.6%], respectively; p = 0.0004), and the average turnaround time for trio-rapid genome sequencing (median: 7 d) was faster than that of proband-only clinical exome sequencing (median: 20 d) (p < 2.2 × 10-16). The metagenomic analysis identified pathogenic or likely pathogenic microbes in six infants with symptoms of sepsis, and these results guided the antibiotic treatment strategy. Sixteen infants (21.6%) experienced a change in clinical management following trio-rapid genome sequencing diagnosis, and 24 infants (32.4%) were referred to a new subspecialist. CONCLUSIONS: Trio-rapid genome sequencing provided higher diagnostic yield in a shorter period of time in this cohort of critically ill infants compared with proband-only clinical exome sequencing. Precise and fast molecular diagnosis can alter medical management and positively impact patient outcomes.

PURPOSE: To investigate the dose-effect of Auto Flash Margin (AFM) on breast cancer's superficial tissues based on the Treatment Planning System (TPS) in the breast-conserving radiotherapy plan. METHODS: A total of 16 breast-conserving patients with early stage breast cancer were selected, using the X-ray Voxel Monte Carlo (XVMC) algorithm. Then, every included case plan was designed using a 2 cm-AFM (the value of AFM is 2 cm) and N-AFM (without AFM). Under the condition of ensuring the same configuration of #MU and collimator, the absorbed dose after a simulated inspiratory motion was calculated again using the new plan center, which moved backward to the linac source. The dose difference between the measurement points between AFM and N-AFM groups was compared. RESULTS: In the dose results, PTVV50Gy of the AFM group was superior to that of the N-AFM group, PTVD2% , PTVDmean , Lung_IpsiV20Gy , Lung_IpsiDmean , and BodyDmax . Also, the dose results of the N-AFM group were significantly higher than those of the AFM group. However, there was no significant difference between Lung_ContraV5Gy , HeartDmean , and Breast_ContraV10Gy in the two groups. In the collimator alignments at the same angle between groups, the AFM group formed an apparent air region outside the collimator compared with the N-AFM group. In the XVMC algorithm feature parameter, the AFM group had less #MU, higher QE, and slightly longer optimization time. The #segments of both groups were close to the 240 control points preset by the plan. The validation results of EBT3 film in both groups were more significant than 95%, meeting the clinical plan's application requirements. The difference in film results between groups was mainly reflected in the dose distribution at the near-source. 4DCT was used to summarize the maximum and minimum inspiratory motion distances of 7.31 ± 0.45 and 3.42 ± 0.91 mm respectively. CONCLUSIONS: These results suggest that the AFM function application could significantly reduce the possibility of insufficient tumor target caused by inspiratory motion and ensure sufficient tumor target exposure.

BACKGROUND: Sepsis is the leading cause of acute kidney injury (AKI) in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). The aim of the study is to explore the efficacy and security of continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) in the treatment of neonatal sepsis-related AKI. METHOD: Totally12 sepsis-related AKI neonates treated with CRRT were hospitalized in the NICU of Shanghai Children's Hospital between November 2012 and November 2019, and the clinical data of these 12 cases were retrospectively analyzed. Renal function, acid-base balance, electrolytes, blood pressure and hemodynamics indexes were recorded before CRRT initiation, 12/24/48 h after CRRT initiation and at the end of CRRT respectively. The efficacy of CRRT was evaluated and the clinical outcome was observed in these 12 sepsis-related AKI neonates. Repeated measurement analysis of variance was used for statistical analysis of the data. RESULT: (1) Continuous veno-venous hemodialysis filtration (CVVHDF) was used in 12 cases of sepsis-related AKI neonates. There were 6 cases with oliguria, 3 cases with fluid overload (FO), 3 cases with septic shock. The duration of CRRT was 49 ~ 110 h, average (76.2 ± 23.5) h. (2) The blood pressure (BP) of 12 sepsis -related AKI neonates could reach the normal level (40-60 mmHg) 12 h after CRRT initiation, and the normal BP level could be maintained during the CRRT treatment. After 12 h CRRT, the blood pH value increased to the normal range (7.35 ~ 7.45). After 12 h CRRT treatment, the oxygenation index of 12sepsis-related AKI neonates could reach 200 mmHg. After 24 h CRRT treatment, it could rise to more than 300 mmHg. Serum potassium, serum urea nitrogen and serum creatinine levels decreased significantly 12 h after CRRT initiation, and reached the normal range 24 h after CRRT initiation. The urine volume significantly increased 24 h after CRRT initiation. (3) Venous catheterization was performed successfully in all sepsis-related AKI neonates. We observed 2 cases of thrombocytopenia, 1 case of obstruction and 1 case of hypotension in the course of CRRT. There were no complications such as hypothermia, hemorrhage, thrombosis and infection.11 neonates were cured and discharged. One neonate was treated with CRRT and passed through the oliguria stage of AKI, but died after the parents gave up the treatment. CONCLUSIONS: It is safe and effective to treat neonatal sepsis-related AKI with CRRT, which should be an effective measure for the treatment of sepsis-related AKI neonates.

In order to identify the abnormal road surface condition efficiently and at low cost, a road surface condition recognition method is proposed based on the vibration acceleration generated by a smartphone when the vehicle passes through the abnormal road surface. The improved Gaussian background model is used to extract the features of the abnormal pavement, and the k-nearest neighbor (kNN) algorithm is used to distinguish the abnormal pavement types, including pothole and bump. Comparing with the existing works, the influence of vehicles with different suspension characteristics on the detection threshold is studied in this paper, and an adaptive adjustment mechanism based on vehicle speed is proposed. After comparing the field investigation results with the algorithm recognition results, the accuracy of the proposed algorithm is rigorously evaluated. The test results show that the vehicle vibration acceleration contains the road surface condition information, which can be used to identify the abnormal road conditions. The test result shows that the accuracy of the recognition of the road surface pothole is 96.03%, and the accuracy of the road surface bump is 94.12%. The proposed road surface recognition method can be utilized to replace the special patrol vehicle for timely and low-cost road maintenance.
RESUMEN
Tellurium (Te) is an intrinsically p-type-doped narrow-band gap semiconductor with an excellent electrical conductivity and low thermal conductivity. Bulk trigonal Te has been theoretically predicted and experimentally demonstrated to be an outstanding thermoelectric material with a high value of thermoelectric figure-of-merit ZT. In view of the recent progress in developing the synthesis route of 2D tellurium thin films as well as the growing trend of exploiting nanostructures as thermoelectric devices, here for the first time, we report the excellent thermoelectric performance of tellurium nanofilms, with a room-temperature power factor of 31.7 µW/cm K2 and ZT value of 0.63. To further enhance the efficiency of harvesting thermoelectric power in nanofilm devices, thermoelectrical current mapping was performed with a laser as a heating source, and we found that high work function metals such as palladium can form rare accumulation-type metal-to-semiconductor contacts to Te, which allows thermoelectrically generated carriers to be collected more efficiently. High-performance thermoelectric Te devices have broad applications as energy harvesting devices or nanoscale Peltier coolers in microsystems.
RESUMEN
The development of van der Waals (vdW) homojunction devices requires materials with narrow bandgaps and simultaneously high hole and electron mobilities for bipolar transport, as well as methods to image and study spatial variations in carrier type and associated conductivity with nanometer spatial resolution. Here, we demonstrate the general capability of near-field scanning microwave microscopy (SMM) to image and study the local carrier type and associated conductivity in operando by studying ambiploar field-effect transistors (FETs) of the 1D vdW material tellurium in 2D form. To quantitatively understand electronic variations across the device, we produce nanometer-resolved maps of the local carrier equivalence backgate voltage. We show that the global device conductivity minimum determined from transport measurements does not arise from uniform carrier neutrality but rather from the continued coexistence of p-type regions at the device edge and n-type regions in the interior of our micrometer-scale devices. This work both underscores and addresses the need to image and understand spatial variations in the electronic properties of nanoscale devices.
RESUMEN
Tellurium (Te) has a trigonal crystal lattice with inherent structural anisotropy. Te is multifunctional, e.g., semiconducting, photoconductive, thermoelectric, piezoelectric, etc., for applications in electronics, sensors, optoelectronics, and energy devices. Due to the inherent structural anisotropy, previously reported synthetic methods predominantly yield one-dimensional (1D) Te nanostructures. Much less is known about 2D Te nanostructures, their processing schemes, and their material properties. This review focuses on the synthesis and morphology control of emerging 2D tellurene and summarizes the latest developments in understanding the fundamental properties of monolayer and few-layer tellurene, as well as the recent advances in demonstrating prototypical tellurene devices. Finally, the prospects for future research and application opportunities as well as the accompanying challenges of 2D tellurene are summarized and highlighted.
RESUMEN
Quantum Hall effect (QHE) is a macroscopic manifestation of quantized states that only occurs in confined two-dimensional electron gas (2DEG) systems. Experimentally, QHE is hosted in high-mobility 2DEG with large external magnetic field at low temperature. Two-dimensional van der Waals materials, such as graphene and black phosphorus, are considered interesting material systems to study quantum transport because they could unveil unique host material properties due to the easy accessibility of monolayer or few-layer thin films at the 2D quantum limit. For the first time, we report direct observation of QHE in a novel low-dimensional material system, tellurene. High-quality 2D tellurene thin films were acquired from recently reported hydrothermal method with high hole mobility of nearly 3000 cm2/(V s) at low temperatures, which allows the observation of well-developed Shubnikov-de Haas (SdH) oscillations and QHE. A four-fold degeneracy of Landau levels in SdH oscillations and QHE was revealed. Quantum oscillations were investigated under different gate biases, tilted magnetic fields, and various temperatures, and the results manifest the inherent information on the electronic structure of Te. Anomalies in both temperature-dependent oscillation amplitudes and transport characteristics were observed that are ascribed to the interplay between the Zeeman effect and spin-orbit coupling, as depicted by the density functional theory calculations.
RESUMEN
Experimental demonstrations of one-dimensional (1D) van der Waals material tellurium (Te) have been presented by Raman spectroscopy under strain and magneto-transport. Raman spectroscopy measurements have been performed under strains along different principle axes. Pronounced strain response along the c-axis is observed due to the strong intrachain covalent bonds, while no strain response is obtained along the a-axis due to the weak interchain van der Waals interaction. Magneto-transport results further verify its anisotropic property, which results in dramatically distinct magneto-resistance behaviors in terms of three different magnetic field directions. Specifically, phase coherence length extracted from weak antilocalization effect, LÏ ≈ T-0.5, claims its two-dimensional (2D) transport characteristics when an applied magnetic field is perpendicular to the thin film. In contrast, LÏ ≈ T-0.33 is obtained from universal conductance fluctuations once the magnetic field is along the c-axis of Te, which indicates its nature of 1D transport along the helical atomic chains. Our studies, which are obtained on high quality single crystal Te thin film, appear to serve as strong evidence of its 1D van der Waals structure from experimental perspectives. It is the aim of this paper to address this special concept that differs from the previous well-studied 1D nanowires or 2D van der Waals materials.
RESUMEN
Diarrhea, the most common disease of perinatal yaks greatly affects the growth of animals. Changes in the number and structure of intestinal flora can cause the disorder of the intestinal environment leading to diarrhea. A study was conducted to investigate the impact of diarrhea on the number and structure of intestinal flora in perinatal yaks. Fecal samples were collected from healthy and diarrhea-affected perinatal yaks; and changes in number and structure of intestinal flora were compared by 16S rDNA V3-V4 region high-throughput sequencing. A total of 272071 optimized sequences were acquired from bacteria, which were identified from 9 phyla, 13 classes, 17 orders, 36 families and 72 genera. The number of bacterial species among diarrheac intestinal flora was lower than the healthy group, with no significant difference between two groups (P > 0.05); however, significant differences were observed at phylum, class, order, family and genus level between two groups (P < 0.05). This study has provided for the first time an insight of the changes occurring in intestinal flora in perinatal yaks at high altitudes of the world.
