RESUMEN

A new dimeric C-glycoside polyketide chrysomycin F (1), along with four new monomeric compounds, chrysomycins G (2), H (3), I (4), J (5), as well as three known analogues, chrysomycins A (6), B (7), and C (8), were isolated and characterised from a strain of Streptomyces sp. obtained from a sediment sample collected from the South China Sea. Their structures were determined by detailed spectroscopic analysis. Chrysomycin F contains two diastereomers, whose structures were further elucidated by a biomimetic [2 + 2] photodimerisation of chrysomycin A. Chrysomycins B and C showed potent anti-tuberculosis activity against both wild-type Mycobacterium tuberculosis and a number of clinically isolated MDR M. tuberculosis strains.

Ecological treatment system (ETS) has been recognized as a promising technology for mitigating agricultural non-point pollution, whereas it remains to be seen how nitrogen (N) forms and bacterial communities in ETS sediments respond to different aquatic N conditions. Therefore, a four-month microcosm experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of three aquatic N conditions (2 mg/L NH4+-N, 2 mg/L NO3--N and 1 mg/L NH4+-N + 1 mg/L NO3--N) on sediment N forms and bacterial communities in three ETSs vegetated by Potamogeton malaianus, Vallisneria natans and artificial aquatic plant, respectively. Through analysis of four transferable N fractions, the valence states of N in ion-exchange and weak acid extractable fractions were found to be mainly determined by aquatic N conditions, while significant N accumulation was observed only in strong oxidant extractable and strong alkali extractable fractions. Sediment N profiles were primarily influenced by time and plant types, with N condition having secondary effect, while sediment bacterial community structures experienced a significant shift over time and were slightly influenced by plant types. Sediment functional genes related to N fixation, nitrification, assimilable nitrate reduction, dissimilatory nitrite reduction (DNRA) and denitrification were substantially enriched in month 4, and the bacterial co-occurrence network exhibited less complexity but more stability under NO3- condition compared to others. Furthermore, certain sediment N fractions were found to have strong relationships with specific sediment bacteria, such as nitrifiers, denitrifiers and DNRA bacteria. Our findings highlight the significant influence of aquatic N condition in submerged macrophyte-type ETSs on sediment N forms and bacterial communities.

The nylon 12 (PA12) monomer ω-aminododecanoic acid (ω-AmDDA) could be synthesized from lauric acid (DDA) through multi-enzyme cascade transformation using engineered E. coli, with the P450 catalyzing terminal hydroxylation of DDA as a rate-limiting enzyme. Its activity is jointly determined by the heme domain and the reductase domain. To obtain a P450 mutant with higher activity, directed evolution was conducted using a colorimetric high-throughput screening (HTS) system with DDA as the real substrate. After two rounds of directed evolution, a positive double-site mutant (R14R/D629G) with 90.3% higher activity was obtained. Molecular docking analysis, kinetic parameter determination and protein electrophoresis suggested the improved soluble expression of P450 resulting from the synonymous mutation near the N-terminus and the shortened distance of the electron transfer between FMN and FAD caused by D629G mutation as the major reasons for activity improvement. The significantly increased kcat and unchanged Km provided further evidence for the increase in electron transfer efficiency. Considering the important role of heme in P450, its supply was strengthened by the metabolic engineering of the heme synthesis pathway. By combining P450-directed evolution and enhancing heme synthesis, 2.02 ± 0.03 g/L of ω-AmDDA was produced from 10 mM DDA, with a yield of 93.6%.

Plasmonic sensors are promising for ultrasensitive chemical and biological analysis. Gold nanoplates (Au NPLs) show unique geometrical structures with high ratios of surface to bulk atoms, which display fascinating plasmonic properties but require optimization. This study presented a systematic investigation of the influence of different parameters (shape, aspect ratio, and resonance mode) on localized surface plasmon resonance properties, refractive index (RI, n) sensitivities, and surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) enhancement ability of different types of Au NPLs through finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) simulations. As a proof of concept, triangular, circular, and hexagonal Au NPLs with varying aspect ratios were fabricated via a three-step seed-mediated growth method by the experiment. Both FDTD-simulated and measured experimental results confirm that the RI sensitivities increase with the aspect ratio. Furthermore, choosing a lower order resonance mode of Au NPLs benefits higher RI sensitivities. The SERS enhancement abilities of Au NPLs also predicted to be highly dependent on the shape and aspect ratio. The triangular Au NPLs showed the highest SERS enhancement ability, while it drastically decreased for circular Au NPLs after the rounding process. The SERS enhancement ability gradually became more intense as the hexagonal Au NPLs overgrown on circular Au NPLs with increasing volumes of HAuCl4 solution. The results are expected to help develop effective biosensors.

BACKGROUND: Mobile phone-based digital interventions have been shown to be a promising strategy for HIV prevention among men who have sex with men (MSM). OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of a mobile phone-based digital intervention for HIV prevention among MSM in China from the perspective of a public health provider. METHODS: The cost-effectiveness of the mobile phone-based digital intervention was estimated for a hypothetical cohort of 10,000 HIV-negative MSM who were followed for 1 year. A model was developed with China-specific data to project the clinical impact and cost-effectiveness of two mobile phone-based digital strategies for HIV prevention among MSM. The intervention group received an integrated behavioral intervention that included 1) individualized HIV infection risk assessment, 2) recommendation of centers testing for HIV and other STIs, 3) free online order of condoms and HIV and syphilis self-test kits and 4) educational materials about HIV/AIDS. The control group was only given educational materials about HIV/AIDS. Outcomes of interest were the number of HIV infections among MSM averted by the intervention, intervention costs, cost per HIV infection averted by the mobile phone-based digital intervention, and quality-adjusted life-years (QALYs). Univariate and multivariate sensitivity analyses were also conducted to examine the robustness of the results. RESULTS: It is estimated that the intervention can prevent 48 MSM from becoming infected with HIV and can save 480 QALYs. The cost of preventing 1 case of HIV infection was US $2599.87, and the cost-utility ratio was less than 0. Sensitivity analysis showed that the cost-effectiveness of the mobile phone-based digital intervention was mainly impacted by the average number of sexual behaviors with each sexual partner. Additionally, the higher the HIV prevalence among MSM, the greater the benefit of the intervention. CONCLUSIONS: Mobile phone-based digital interventions are a cost-effective HIV-prevention strategy for MSM and could be considered for promotion and application among high-risk MSM subgroups.

The Chinese pangolin (Manis pentadactyla) is a critically endangered mammal with a highly specialized diet. To enhance nutritional knowledge of its diet, we analyzed the colony composition of a nest of Polyrhachis dives ants, which is the key natural prey in the Chinese pangolin's diet. In addition, we determined the nutrient composition of the total colony compared with adult ants. Nutrients quantified in this study included: crude protein, crude fat, carbohydrate, and amino acids, minerals, and vitamins, as well as formic acid and chitin, which have not been reported in previous diet studies. Our results showed that the colony consisted of adults (82%), pupae (10%), larvae (7%), and eggs (1%) (fresh mass). Both the total colony and adult ants, respectively, contained high concentrations of crude protein (62.97% and 64.68%), chitin (49.25% and 60.40%), crude fat (10.12% and 9.91%) (dry matter basis), and formic acid (2.06% and 3.07%) (fresh mass). This implies that Chinese pangolin might prefer prey with high protein, high chitin, low fat, and low formic acid content. Colony and adult ants differed in chemical composition in many aspects, thus it might be unsuitable to feed Chinese pangolin with only adult ants. Chitin and formic acid may play important roles in the diet and selectivity of Chinese pangolin. This study provides reference information that may be useful for developing better artificial diets with more comprehensive nutrient compositional data to meet the nutritional requirements of the Chinese pangolin under managed feeding programs.

BACKGROUND: The incidence and mortality rates of hepatocellular carcinoma are among the highest of all cancers all over the world. However the survival rates are relatively low due to lack of effective treatments. Efforts to elucidate the mechanisms of HCC and to find novel prognostic markers and therapeutic targets are ongoing. Here we tried to identify prognostic genes of HCC through co-expression network analysis. METHODS: We conducted weighted gene co-expression network analysis with a microarray dataset GSE14520 of HCC from Gene Expression Omnibus database and identified a hub module associated with HCC prognosis. Function enrichment analysis of the hub module was performed. Clinical information was analyzed to select candidate hub genes. The expression profiles and survival analysis of the selected genes were performed using additional datasets (GSE45267 and TCGA-LIHC) and the hub gene was identified. GSEA and in vitro experiments were conducted to further verify the function of the hub gene. RESULTS: Genes in the hub module were mostly involved in the metabolism pathway. Four genes (SLC27A5, SLC10A1, PCK2 and FMO4) from the module were identified as candidate hub genes according to correlation analysis with prognostic indicators. All these genes were significantly down-regulated in tumor tissues compared with non-tumor tissues in additional datasets. After survival analysis and network construction, SLC27A5 was selected as a prognostic marker. GSEA analysis and in vitro assays suggested that SLC27A5 downregulation promoted tumor cell migration via enhancing epithelial-mesenchymal transition. CONCLUSION: SLC27A5 is a potential biomarker of HCC and SLC27A5 downregulation promoted HCC progression by enhancing EMT.

BACKGROUND: Esophagogastric junction adenocarcinoma (EJA) is one of the most common malignant tumors of digestive tract with high mortality worldwide. Given a lack of early diagnosis biomarkers, the prognosis of EJA is poor. Non-invasive biomarkers for early-stage EJA are urgently required. OBJECTIVE: We aimed at evaluating the early diagnostic value of serum interleukin-8 (IL-8) level in EJA patients. METHODS: The IL-8 mRNA expression data were analyzed based on the stomach cardia adenocarcinoma samples of The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to measure the concentration of serum IL-8 in 95 EJA patients and 95 normal controls enrolled from 2 different cancer hospitals. The diagnostic accuracy of serum IL-8 was evaluated by applying Mann-Whitney U test and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve. RESULTS: The mRNA expression levels and serum levels of IL-8 in EJA group were significantly higher than those in the normal group (all P < 0.001). The areas under the ROC curve (AUC) were 0.661 (95% CI, 0.583-0.740) and 0.745 (95% CI, 0.606-0.885), with the sensitivities of 43.2% (95% CI, 33.2%-53.7%) and 66.7% (95% CI, 46.0%-82.8%) and the specificities of 87.4% (95% CI, 78.6%-93.1%) in EJA group and early-EJA group, respectively, when the optimal cutoff value was 109.086 pg/mL. The clinical data analysis showed there were significant correlations between patient genders, depth of invasion, lymph node metastasis, TNM stage and the serum level of IL-8 (all P < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS: Serum IL-8 represents a potential diagnostic biomarker to identify early-stage EJA.

Three-dimensional DNA networks, composed of tri- or higher valent nanostars with sticky, single-stranded DNA overhangs, have been previously studied in the context of designing thermally responsive, viscoelastic hydrogels. In this work, we use linker-mediated gels, where the sticky ends of two trivalent nanostars are connected through the complementary sticky ends of a linear DNA duplex. We can design this connection to be either rigid or flexible by introducing flexible, non-binding bases. The additional flexibility provided by these non-binding bases influences the effective elasticity of the percolating gel formed at low temperatures. Here we show that by choosing the right length of the linear duplex and non-binding flexible joints, we obtain a completely different phase behaviour to that observed for rigid linkers. In particular, we use dynamic light scattering as a microrheological tool to monitor the self-assembly of DNA nanostars with linear linkers as a function of temperature. While we observe classical gelation when using rigid linkers, the presence of flexible joints leads to a cluster fluid with a much-reduced viscosity. Using both the oxDNA model and a coarse-grained simulation to investigate the nanostar-linker topology, we hypothesise on the possible structure formed by the DNA clusters. Moreover, we present a systematic study of the strong viscosity increase of aqueous solutions in the presence of these DNA building blocks.

Understanding reproductive behavior is important for the conservation of endangered species, but research on the reproductive behavior of Sunda pangolins (Manis javanica Desmarest, 1822) is still very scarce. In this study, we used focal animal sampling and all-occurrence recording by an infrared monitor to observe the behaviors of two Sunda pangolins during a 5-day breeding period at the Pangolin Research Base for Artificial Rescue and Conservation Breeding of South China Normal University (PRB-SCNU). The behavioral characteristics and breeding strategies were analyzed, and the results were discussed together with information on other captive Sunda pangolin pairs at PRB-SCNU. The results found that there was no obvious estrus behavior in the captive female, while the male could exhibit sexual excitement and courtship behavior after a brief introduction period. Repeated copulation continued over many days after the female accepted the courtship. The average duration of copulatory behavior was 248.9 ± 148.7 s (n = 25), and all copulation occurred between 20:00 and 08:00 hr in the natural day-night photoperiod. The mating position of Sunda pangolins was lateral-ventral and was classified as the ninth or eleventh pattern under both Dewsbury's and Dixson's classification systems. This study can provide scientific guidance for the captive breeding and management of Sunda pangolins and other pangolin species, which is of great significance for ex situ conservation tactics.

PURPOSE: To assess the effects of posterior sclera reinforcement (PSR) in refractive outcomes, choroidal thickness (CT), and retinal thickness (RT) during a 3-year follow-up in eyes with pathological myopia. METHODS: Thirty-eight eyes of 26 adults with pathological myopia who underwent PSR (the PSR group) and 30 eyes of 18 adults with matched age and myopia who did not receive PSR treatment (the control group) were followed up with measurements of axial length (AL), spherical equivalent (SE), best corrected visual acuity (BCVA), CT, and RT at baseline, 1 and 3 months, and 1, 2, and 3 years postoperatively. Data were analyzed by repeated measures analysis of variance and independent-samples t test. RESULTS: In the PSR group, AL, SE, BCVA, and CT were tending to be relatively stable and no statistically significant changes were found during the follow-up (all P > 0.05). In contrast, in the control group, compared with the measurements taken at baseline, AL, SE, BCVA, and CT altered gradually from 1 month onward to 3 years postoperatively. At 2-year and 3-year follow-ups, significant differences in AL, SE, BCVA, and CT were noted between the PSR group and the control group (all P < 0.05). RTs of the center subfield and the inner ring were equal to the baseline in the control group; however, RTs of the center subfield at 1 year, 2 years, and 3 years postoperatively significantly slightly reduced compared with those at the baseline in the PSR group (all P < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS: The effects of PSR in restraining eyeball elongation, stabilizing vision, and strengthening the structure of posterior pole are more prominent 2 years or more postoperatively compared with the natural progression of pathological myopia.

Autophagy is an intracellular recycling process that maintains cellular homeostasis by orchestrating immunity upon viral infection. Following viral infection, autophagy is often initiated to curtail infection by delivering viral particles for lysosomal degradation and further integrating with innate pattern recognition receptor signaling to induce interferon (IFN)-mediated viral clearance. However, some viruses have evolved anti-autophagy strategies to escape host immunity and to promote viral replication. In this chapter, we illustrate how autophagy prevents viral infection to generate an optimal anti-viral milieu, and then concentrate on how viruses subvert and hijack the autophagic process to evade immunosurveillance, thereby facilitating viral replication and pathogenesis. Understanding the interplays between autophagy and viral infection is anticipated to guide the development of effective anti-viral therapeutics to fight against infectious diseases.

The Sunda pangolin (Manis javanica Desmarest, 1822) is a Critically Endangered species. Given that this species lacks effective policies for in situ conservation and prevention of poaching in the wild, ex situ conservation and a captive breeding program are urgently needed to save this species from extinction. However, techniques for the maintenance and captive breeding of pangolins have not been well developed. In June 2010, we established the Pangolin Research Base for Artificial Rescue and Conservation Breeding of South China Normal University (PRB-SCNU). To date, a total of 34 Sunda pangolin cubs have been born at PRB-SCNU, 26 of which were captive bred, indicating great progress in keeping and breeding the Sunda pangolin. The techniques for maintenance-including housing, transitioning to an artificial diet, husbandry, and captive breeding-are described in this paper. The purpose of this manuscript is to share our successful experiences and techniques in the maintenance, management, and captive breeding of Sunda pangolins, and to provide guidance and a reference for the captive care and management of Sunda pangolins and other pangolin species.

BACKGROUND: Cataracts are one of the major public health problems worldwide. Ultraviolet radiation (UVR) is one of the risk factors for cataract development. We analyzed the relationship between disability-adjusted life year (DALY) rates of cataracts and UVR exposure in China. METHODS: DALY rates of cataracts and UVR exposure in 31 regions of China were calculated based on data from the Second China National Sample Survey on Disability and the United States' National Aeronautics and Space Administration database. The relationship between the DALY rates of cataracts and UVR was estimated by Spearman rank correlation analysis and linear regression analysis. RESULTS: The elderly (≥ 65 years) had higher DALY rates of cataracts than the whole population. The DALY rate of cataracts in the agricultural population was higher than that observed in the non-agricultural population. The DALY rates of cataracts were positively associated with UVR The DALY rates of cataracts in regions with higher UVR were higher than those in regions with lower UVR. An increase in the daily ambient erythemal UVR of 1000 J/m(2) was associated with an increase in the DALY rates of cataracts by 92 DALYs/100 000 (R(2) = 0.676) among the whole population, 34 DALYs/100 000 among the population < 65 years old (R(2) = 0.423), 607 DALYs/100 000 among the population aged 65-74 years (R(2) = 0.617), and by 1342 DALYs/100 000 among the population ≥ 75 years old (R(2) = 0.758). CONCLUSIONS: DALY rates of cataracts increased with increases in UVR exposure in 31 regions of China. Greater exposure to UVR increases the disease burden of cataracts in the whole population, especially in the elderly and among the agricultural population.

BACKGROUND: To evaluate vision-related quality of life in preoperative age-related cataract patients in China, using the Chinese version of the National Eye Institute Visual Function Questionnaire-25 (CHI-NEI-VFQ-25), together with analyses of its influencing factors. METHODS: Cataract patients were interviewed using the CHI-NEI-VFQ-25, and their demographic information was recorded. The Cronbach α coefficient was used to determine the internal consistency of the CHI-NEI-VFQ-25. Multi-trait analyses were used to assess construct validity, including item convergent validity and item discriminant validity. The data were evaluated by descriptive statistical analyses, by the Kruskal-Wallis rank sum test, and by multinomial logistic regression. RESULTS: The Cronbach α coefficients were all above 0.8, except for the driving subscale. All items passed the convergent and discriminant validity tests. The composite score was 63.0. The lowest five subscale scores were in general vision (40.0), mental health (37.5), role difficulty (37.5), near vision activities (50.0), and dependence (58.3). Except for the subscale scores of general health and ocular pain, the composite scores and subscale scores were positively associated with the best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) in the better eye. Multinomial logistic regression showed that sex, age, and educational attainment were significantly associated with the composite score and subscale scores. CONCLUSIONS: BCVA in the better eye was the most important determinant associated with the decrease in vision-related quality of life. Visual impairment had more impact on the psychosocial parameter than on the other parameters of the patients' quality of life. Among all the demographic characteristics, including sex, age, and educational attainment, influenced the quality of life in age-related cataract patients.

Bacterial infection of wounds remains one of the major clinical challenges, calling for the urgent development of novel multifunctional biological dressings. In this study, we developed a chitosan-based supramolecular aerogel NADES/PVA/CS, constructed by hydrogen bonding between chitosan, a natural deep eutectic solvents and polyvinyl alcohol, as a novel wound dressing against bacterial infections. The effect of polyvinyl alcohol content and its incorporation within chitosan-based supramolecular aerogels were investigated. The results of antibacterial test and MTT assay showed that it has obvious inhibitory effect on Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli, showing excellent biocompatibility and effectively promotes wound healing. The microstructure of chitosan-based supramolecular aerogel showed that by adjusting the addition amount of polyvinyl alcohol, it could exhibit a perfect skeleton-type 3D network structure, which also made it possess smaller density and larger porosity and exhibit excellent water absorption property, contributing to the wetting of wound surface. More importantly, chitosan-based supramolecular aerogel is an environment-friendly biomaterial, which has been verified by degradability experiment. In a word, these unique advantages provide a broad prospect for the medical application of chitosan-based supramolecular aerogel NADES/PVA/CS, and provide a new strategy for the construction of green polysaccharide medical materials.

A large number of hydrogen bonds is the main reason for hindering the dissolution and reaction of chitin, and a mild and green deacetylation method to prepare chitosan for a wider range of applications is urgent. As a non-toxic and degradable green solvent, the deep eutectic solvent can effectively interfere with the hydrogen bond network of chitin, making chitin more susceptible to other solvents. Therefore, a NADES system consisting of betaine and glycerol was proposed for application in the deacetylation reaction of chitin to facilitate further attack of N-acetyl groups by low concentrations of NaOH. After optimizing the reaction conditions, chitosan with 83.77 % deacetylation was prepared, requiring only a concentration of 25 wt% NaOH. The analysis of the product chitosan showed that NADES could not only effectively improve the degree of deacetylation, but also reduce the degree of damage to the molecular weight by alkali. In addition, the potential mechanisms involved in the deacetylation process by NADES were explored. The nature of the reaction was verified by FT-IR, XRD and theoretical calculations as the process of opening intra/intermolecular hydrogen bonds of chitin by NADES. More importantly, experimental and in-depth theoretical studies provide a reference for the green preparation of chitosan.

Cadmium (Cd) is a hazardous element that may jeopardize environmental safety and human health through biotransfer and trophic accumulation. Here, we tested Cd toxicity on cotton plants, cotton bollworms, and their responses. Results demonstrated that Cd accumulated in plant roots, aerial parts, insect larvae, pupae, and frass in a dose-dependent pattern. The ∼9.35 mg kg-1 of Cd in plant aerial parts, ∼3.68 in larvae, ∼6.43 in pupae, and high transfer coefficient (∼5.59) indicate significant mobility. The ∼19.61 mg kg-1 of Cd in larvae frass suggests an effective detoxification strategy, while BAFcotton (∼1.14) and BAFworm (∼0.54) indicated low bioaccumulation. Cadmium exposure resulted in compromised plant growth and yield as well as alterations in photosynthetic pigment contents, antioxidant enzyme activities, and certain life history traits of cotton bollworms. Furthermore, carboxylesterase activity and encapsulation rates of insect larvae decreased with increasing Cd concentrations, whereas acetylcholinesterase, phenol oxidase, glutathione S-transferase, and multifunctional oxidase exhibited hormesis responses.

Cadmium (Cd) and arsenic (As) are two highly toxic heavy metals and metalloids that coexist in many situations posing severe threats to plants. Our investigation was conducted to explore the different regulatory mechanisms of ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.) responding to individual and combined Cd and As stresses in hydroponics. Results showed that the ryegrass well-growth phenotype was not affected by Cd stress of 10 mg·L-1. However, As of 10 mg·L-1 caused rapid water loss, proline surge, and chlorosis in shoots, suggesting that ryegrass was highly sensitive to As. Transcriptomic analysis revealed that the transcription factor LpIRO2 mediated the upregulation of ZIP1 and YSL6 that played an important role in Cd tolerance. We found that the presence of As caused the overexpression of LpSWT12, a process potentially regulated by bHLH14, to mitigate hyperosmolarity. Indoleacetic acid (IAA) and abscisic acid (ABA) contents and expression of their signaling-related genes were significantly affected by As stress rather than Cd. We predict a regulatory network to illustrate the interaction between transporters, transcription factors, and signaling transduction, and explain the antagonism of Cd and As toxicity. This present work provides a research basis for plant protection from Cd and As pollution.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that requires objective and accurate identification methods for effective early intervention. Previous population-based methods via functional connectivity (FC) analysis ignore the differences between positive and negative FCs, which provide the potential information complementarity. And they also require additional information to construct a pre-defined graph. Meanwhile, two challenging demand attentions are the imbalance of performance caused by the class distribution and the inherent heterogeneity of multi-site data. In this paper, we propose a novel dynamic graph Transformer network based on dual-view connectivity for ASD Identification. It is based on the Autoencoders, which regard the input feature as individual feature and without any inductive bias. First, a dual-view feature extractor is designed to extract individual and complementary information from positive and negative connectivity. Then Graph Transformer network is innovated with a hot plugging K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm module which constructs a dynamic population graph without any additional information. Additionally, we introduce the PolyLoss function and the Vrex method to address the class imbalance and improve the model's generalizability. The evaluation experiment on 1102 subjects from the ABIDE I dataset demonstrates our method can achieve superior performance over several state-of-the-art methods and satisfying generalizability for ASD identification.
