RESUMEN

As a key regulator of the innate immune system, the NLRP3 inflammasome responds to a variety of environmental insults through activation of caspase-1 and release of the proinflammatory cytokines IL-1ß and IL-18. Aberrant NLRP3 inflammasome function is implicated in numerous inflammatory diseases, spurring drug discovery efforts at NLRP3 as a therapeutic target. A diverse array of small molecules is undergoing preclinical/clinical evaluation with a reported mode of action involving direct modulation of the NLRP3 pathway. However, for a subset of these ligands the functional link between live-cell target engagement and pathway inhibition has yet to be fully established. Herein we present a cohort of mechanistic assays to both query direct NLRP3 engagement in cells, and functionally interrogate different nodes of NLRP3 pathway activity. This system enabled the stratification of potency for five confirmed NLRP3 inhibitors, and identification of two reported NLRP3 inhibitors that failed to demonstrate direct pathway antagonism.

RESUMEN

Objetivo: analizar la educación emocional como estrategia para el fortalecimiento de la personalidad en el estudiante universitario. Método: Revisión en la literatura científica a partir de PRISMA, se tomaron 16 articulos de PubMed. Resultados: La educación emocional a partir de los estudios citados, se evidencia como necesaria de ser incorporada en los programas de formación universitaria de las carreras de las ciencias de la salud, por cuanto permite al estudiante afrontar con mayor pertinencia los factores estresantes que al constituirse en estrés, influyen negativamente en el rendimiento académico, siendo considerable tener en cuenta la medición de la inteligencia emocional en sus los procesos de admisión a la carrera, de ese modo, se podrá diagnosticar para diseñar planes de atención colectiva y auto dirigidos para promover una asertiva salud emocional, en favor de gestionar la personalidad con mayor énfasis a la atención empática del paciente.


Objective: To analyze emotional education as a strategy for strengthening the personality of university students. Method: Review of the scientific literature from PRISMA, 16 articles from PubMed were taken. Results: Emotional education from the cited studies, is evidenced as necessary to be incorporated into the university training programs of the health sciences careers, since it allows the student to face with greater relevance the stressful factors that when constituting in stress, negatively influence academic performance, being important to take into account the measurement of emotional intelligence in the processes of admission to the career, in this way, it can be diagnosed to design collective and self-directed care plans to promote a assertive emotional health, in favor of managing personality with greater emphasis on empathic patient care.
