[Effect of isoptin and its combination with strophanthin on collateral coronary circulation and systemic hemodynamics in acute myocardial ischemia]. / Vliianie izoptina i ego kombinatsii so strofantinom na kollateral'noe koronarnoe krovoobrashchenie i sistemnuiu gemodinamiku pri ostroi ishemii miokarda.

It was established in acute experiments on dogs with the anterior interventricular branch of the left coronary artery ligated in the middle third that isoptin increases essentially the blood flow and oxygen tension in the focus of acute myocardial ischemia, increases the cardiac stroke and minute volumes, and reduces the total peripheral vascular resistance. Strophanthin removes the favourable effect of isoptin on collateral coronary circulation and contractile myocardial activity and increases the total peripheral vascular resistance.

[Study of the effect of tetracycline carboxamide derivatives on the cardiovascular and urinary systems]. / Izuchenie vliianiia karboksanidnykh proizvodnykh tetratsiklina na serdechno-sosudistuiu i mochevydelitel'nuiu sistemu

The effect of tetracycline carboxamide derivatives, such as morphocycline, glycocycline and reverin on the cardio-vascular and urinary systems was studied on 24 rabbits using clinico-physiological and pathomorphological methods. The experiment was accounted for 7 days. When the drugs were administered in doses of 5 mg/kg, the changes in the indices of hemodynamics, respiration and bioelectric activity of the myocardium were rather of the same type. They were evident from decreased arterial pressure, slower rate of the pulse and respiration, lower voltage of peaks R and T, prolongation of intervals T--P and R--P, shifts in segment S--T from the isoelectric line. The changes took place by the 2nd and 5th minutes after the drug administration. Beginning from the 10th minute the hemodynamic indices returned to the initial values. By the level of the drugs effect on the above indices the antibiotics may be arranged in the following order: morphocycline, glycocycline and reverin. No effect of the antibiotics on the urinary system was noted.

[Effect of nonachlazine on systemic hemodynamics and the collateral coronary circulation in acute myocardial ischemia]. / Vliianie nonakhlazina na sistemnuiu gemodinamiku i kollateral'noe koronarnoe krovoobrashchenie pri ostroi ishemii miokarda.

Systemic hemodynamics (thermodilution), retrograde coronary blood flow, oxygen tension and bioelectric activity of the myocardium were examined in dog experiments to show that nonachlazin produces an intensive and long-lasting increase in the collateral blood flow to the zone of acute myocardial ischemia and in the pressure in the ligated venous artery. Concurrently it elevates oxygen tension in the affected part of the heart. The cardiostimulant effect of the drug was associated with augmentation of the heart volume on account of an elevated stroke output in the presence of diminished general peripheral vascular resistance.

[Effect of synthetic prostaglandin E1 on the cardiac blood supply and systemic hemodynamics in acute myocardial ischemia]. / Vliianie sinteticheskogo prostaglandina E1 na krovosnabzhenie serdtsa i sistemnuiu gemodinamiku pri ostroi ishemii miokarda.

The effect of a native synthetic prostaglandin E1 on the blood supply and basic parameters of hemodynamics in acute myocardial ischemia induced by coronary artery occlusion was studied. It was found that the preparation in doses of 5 and 10 mg/kg increases the general and collateral coronary circulation by redistributing it into the endocardium of myocardial ischemic lesion. PGE1 increased the systolic discharge and the minute volume of the heart, enhanced the contractile myocardium activity. With an increase of the preparation dose its positive effect was not enhanced.
