RESUMO

This work reports the electrical and thermal transport processes in p-type Pb-doped Mg3(1+x)Sb2-yPby (0.02 ≤ x ≤ 0.08; 0 ≤ y ≤ 0.02) compounds. Low-energy electron acceptor defects Mg vacancies are easy to form, which can provide holes and make p-type transport in the Mg3Sb2 matrix. However, with an increase in excess Mg, the transport behavior changes from p type to n type as manifested synergistically by both the Hall coefficient and Seebeck coefficient. This indicates the effective role of Mg in tuning carrier type and concentration for a pristine Mg3Sb2 compound. Upon substitution of Sb by Pb, the hole concentration slightly increases, and mobility is greatly improved by 133% at room temperature. The significant increase in mobility is attributed to the weakening ionized impurity scattering, stemming from the decreasing concentration induced by Pb doping. Thus, the power factor is enhanced with a 146% improvement at room temperature. Consequently, the figure of merit ZT of the Pb-doped sample is 1.8 times larger than the pristine one at around 300 K. Moreover, the non-degenerate transport behavior revealed by electrical properties is simply analyzed regarding the effects of minority carriers on the overall Seebeck coefficient. This study proposes a new strategy of charge compensation for improving mobility and a simple way to guide the prediction about the onset of bipolar conduction for Mg3Sb2-based compounds and other potential thermoelectric materials.

AIMS: This study analyzed the application value of drug combined painting therapy for patients with anxiety disorder by observing the changes in patients' mental and social functions. METHODS: 400 cases with anxiety disorder were recruited, and randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group with 200 cases in each group. Patients in the control group received drug therapy alone, while experimental group was combined with painting treatment on the basis of control group. The Nurses Observation Scale for Inpatient Evaluation (NOSIE) was used for the evaluation of mental and social functioning. Clinical efficacy was evaluated according to the degree of reduction in the Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) score. RESULTS: After 8 weeks of treatment, the experimental group had a lower HAMD score than those in the control group. After 8 weeks of treatment, mental and social functions in both groups improved significantly. And the social competence, social interest and personal cleanliness of the experimental group were better than those of the control group, and the degree of irritability, retardation and depression were lower than those of the control group. In comparison with the control group, the experimental group had a higher cure rate and remarkable response rate. CONCLUSIONS: Painting therapy combined with drug therapy can relieve anxiety symptoms of patients with anxiety disorder, improve their mental and social functions, and improve clinical efficacy.

Objective: To explore the clinical effects of tandospirone citrate assisted by drawing therapy (DT) on medication compliance and sleep quality in patients with anxiety disorders. Methods: A total of 128 patients with anxiety disorders treated in the hospital were enrolled between January 2020 and January 2022. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the observation group (n = 64) and the control group (n = 64). The control group was treated with tandospirone citrate, while the observation group was additionally treated with DT. The clinical curative effect and medication compliance after treatment, scores of Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), and the World Health Organization's Quality of Life Questionnaire-Brief Version (WHOQOL-BREF) before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. The occurrence of adverse reactions during treatment was recorded. Results: After treatment, the total response rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (96.88% vs 86.94%) (P < 0.05). After treatment, scores of HAMA and PSQI in both groups were decreased, which were lower in the observation group than in the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, medication compliance in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, scores of environmental factors, social relations, physiological function, and psychological status in both groups were increased, which were higher in the observation group than in the control group (P < 0.05). During treatment, there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion: DT-assisted tandospirone citrate can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients with anxiety disorders, improve medication compliance, sleep quality, and quality of life, and have a certain degree of safety.
