RESUMO

Prunella vulgaris is one of the bestselling and widely used medicinal herbs. It is recorded as an ace medicine for cleansing and protecting the liver in Chinese Pharmacopoeia and has been used as the main constitutions of many herbal tea formulas in China for centuries. It is also a traditional folk medicine in Europe and other countries of Asia. Pentacyclic triterpenoids are a major class of bioactive compounds produced in P. vulgaris. However, their biosynthetic mechanism remains to be elucidated. Here, we report a chromosome-level reference genome of P. vulgaris using an approach combining Illumina, ONT, and Hi-C technologies. It is 671.95 Mb in size with a scaffold N50 of 49.10 Mb and a complete BUSCO of 98.45%. About 98.31% of the sequence was anchored into 14 pseudochromosomes. Comparative genome analysis revealed a recent WGD in P. vulgaris. Genome-wide analysis identified 35 932 protein-coding genes (PCGs), of which 59 encode enzymes involved in 2,3-oxidosqualene biosynthesis. In addition, 10 PvOSC, 358 PvCYP, and 177 PvUGT genes were identified, of which five PvOSCs, 25 PvCYPs, and 9 PvUGTs were predicted to be involved in the biosynthesis of pentacyclic triterpenoids. Biochemical activity assay of PvOSC2, PvOSC4, and PvOSC6 recombinant proteins showed that they were mixed amyrin synthase (MAS), lupeol synthase (LUS), and ß-amyrin synthase (BAS), respectively. The results provide a solid foundation for further elucidating the biosynthetic mechanism of pentacyclic triterpenoids in P. vulgaris.

Aporphine alkaloids are a large group of natural compounds with extensive pharmaceutical application prospects. The biosynthesis of aporphine alkaloids has been paid attentions in the past decades. Here, we determined the contents of four 1-benzylisoquinoline alkaloids and five aporphine alkaloids in root, stem, leaf, and flower of Aristolochia contorta Bunge, which belongs to magnoliids. Two CYP80 enzymes were identified and characterized from A. contorta. Both of them catalyze the unusual C-C phenol coupling reactions and directly form the aporphine alkaloid skeleton. AcCYP80G7 catalyzed the formation of hexacyclic aporphine corytuberine. AcCYP80Q8 catalyzed the formation of pentacyclic proaporphine glaziovine. Kingdom-wide phylogenetic analysis of the CYP80 family suggested that CYP80 first appeared in Nymphaeales. The functional divergence of hydroxylation and C-C (or C-O) phenol coupling preceded the divergence of magnoliids and eudicots. Probable crucial residues of AcCYP80Q8 were selected through sequence alignment and molecular docking. Site-directed mutagenesis revealed two crucial residues E284 and Y106 for the catalytic reaction. Identification and characterization of two aporphine skeleton-forming enzymes provide insights into the biosynthesis of aporphine alkaloids.

Robust ferroelectricity in nanoscale fluorite oxide-based thin films enables promising applications in silicon-compatible non-volatile memories and logic devices. However, the polar orthorhombic (O) phase of fluorite oxides is a metastable phase that is prone to transforming into the ground-state non-polar monoclinic (M) phase, leading to macroscopic ferroelectric degradation. Here we investigate the reversibility of the O-M phase transition in ZrO2 nanocrystals via in situ visualization of the martensitic transformation at the atomic scale. We reveal that the reversible shear deformation pathway from the O phase to the monoclinic-like (M') state, a compressive-strained M phase, is protected by 90° ferroelectric-ferroelastic switching. Nevertheless, as the M' state gradually accumulates localized strain, a critical tensile strain can pin the ferroelastic domain, resulting in an irreversible M'-M strain relaxation and the loss of ferroelectricity. These findings demonstrate the key role of ferroelastic switching in the reversibility of phase transition and also provide a tensile-strain threshold for stabilizing the metastable ferroelectric phase in fluorite oxide thin films.

Transgenerational plasticity (TGP) allows a plant to acclimate to external variable environments and is a potential mechanism that explains the range expansion and invasion success of some exotic plants. Most studies explored the traits of TGP associated with the success of exotic plant invasions by comparison studies among exotic, native, invasive, and noninvasive species. However, studies on the TGP of invasive plants in different resource environments are scarce, and the biological mechanisms involved are not well understood. This study aimed to determine the role of TGP in the invasiveness of Xanthium strumarium in northeast China. We measured the plant morphology of aboveground parts and the growth of three generations of the invader under different environmental conditions. The results showed that the intergenerational plasticity of X. strumarium was stronger under stress conditions. We found that the X. strumarium parent generation (F0) grown under water and/or nutrient deficiency conditions transferred the environmental information to their offspring (F1 and F2). The F1 generation grown under high-resource conditions has greater height with larger crown sizes, thicker basal diameters, and higher biomass. Both water and nutrients can affect the intergenerational transmission of plant plasticity, nutrients play a more important role compared with water. The high morphological intergenerational plasticity of X. strumarium under a pressure environment can help it quickly adapt to the new environment and accelerate the rapid expansion of the population in the short term. The root:shoot ratio and reproductive and nutrient distribution of the X. strumarium F0 and F1 generations showed high stability when the growth environment of the F0 generation differed from that of the F1 generation. The stable resource allocation strategy can ensure that the obtained resources are evenly distributed to each organ to maintain the long-term existence of the community. Therefore, the study of intergenerational transmission plasticity is of great significance for understanding the invasion process, mechanism, and prevention of invasive plants.

BACKGROUND: Calcium-free (Ca-free) solutions are theoretically the most ideal for regional citrate anticoagulation (RCA) in continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT). However, the majority of medical centers in China had to make a compromise of using commercially available calcium-containing (Ca-containing) solutions instead of Ca-free ones due to their scarcity. This study was designed to probe into the potential of Ca-containing solution as a secure and efficient substitution for Ca-free solutions. METHODS: In this prospective, randomized single-center trial, 99 patients scheduled for CRRT were randomly assigned in a 1:1:1 ratio to one of three treatment groups: continuous veno-venous hemodialysis Ca-free dialysate (CVVHD Ca-free) group, continuous veno-venous hemodiafiltration calcium-free dialysate (CVVHDF Ca-free) group, and continuous veno-venous hemodiafiltration Ca-containing dialysate (CVVHDF Ca-containing) group at cardiac intensive care unit (CICU). The primary endpoint was the incidence of metabolic complications. The secondary endpoints included premature termination of treatment, thrombus of filter, and bubble trap after the process. RESULTS: The incidence of citrate accumulation (18.2% vs. 12.1% vs. 21.2%) and metabolic alkalosis (12.1% vs. 0% vs. 9.1%) did not significantly differ among three groups (p > 0.05 for both). The incidence of premature termination was comparable among the groups (18.2% vs. 9.1% vs. 9.1%, p = 0.582). The thrombus level of the filter and bubble trap was similar in the three groups (p > 0.05 for all). CONCLUSIONS: In RCA-CRRT for CICU population, RCA-CVVHDF with Ca-containing solutions and traditional RCA with Ca-free solutions had a comparable safety and feasibility. BACKGROUND: The relationship between smoking and the risk of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) has been recognized, but the conclusions have been inconsistent. This systematic review and meta-analysis investigated the association between smoking and ARDS risk in adults. METHODS: The PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science databases were searched for eligible studies published from January 1, 2000, to December 31, 2023. We enrolled adult patients exhibiting clinical risk factors for ARDS and smoking condition. Outcomes were quantified using odds ratios (ORs) for binary variables and mean differences (MDs) for continuous variables, with a standard 95% confidence interval (CI). RESULTS: A total of 26 observational studies involving 36,995 patients were included. The meta-analysis revealed a significant association between smoking and an increased risk of ARDS (OR 1.67; 95% CI 1.33-2.08; P < 0.001). Further analysis revealed that the associations between patient-reported smoking history and ARDS occurrence were generally similar to the results of all the studies (OR 1.78; 95% CI 1.38-2.28; P < 0.001). In contrast, patients identified through the detection of tobacco metabolites (cotinine, a metabolite of nicotine, and 4-(methylnitrosamino)-1-(3-pyridyl)-1-butanol (NNAL), a metabolite of tobacco products) showed no significant difference in ARDS risk (OR 1.19; 95% CI 0.69-2.05; P = 0.53). The smoking group was younger than the control group (MD - 7.15; 95% CI - 11.58 to - 2.72; P = 0.002). Subgroup analysis revealed that smoking notably elevated the incidence of ARDS with extrapulmonary etiologies (OR 1.85; 95% CI 1.43-2.38; P < 0.001). Publication bias did not affect the integrity of our conclusions. Sensitivity analysis further reinforced the reliability of our aggregated outcomes. CONCLUSIONS: There is a strong association between smoking and elevated ARDS risk. This emphasizes the need for thorough assessment of patients' smoking status, urging healthcare providers to vigilantly monitor individuals with a history of smoking, especially those with additional extrapulmonary risk factors for ARDS.

Carcinogenesis and colorectal cancer (CRC) development are associated with dysregulation of various pathways, including Wnt and p53. 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) is a common chemotherapeutic agent for CRC treatment, but its efficacy is restricted by drug resistance. Doxycycline is an orally active tetracycline antibiotic known for its antimicrobial and anticancer cell proliferation activities. This study intends to delineate the potential role of bioinformatically predicted ZNF24 in the 5-FU resistance of CRC cells. The expression of ZNF24 was measured in clinically collected CRC tissues and cells. Afterward, ectopic ZNF24 expression was induced by DOX to evaluate the viability, colony-forming ability and sphere-forming ability of CRC cells. It was found that ZNF24 was validated to be poorly expressed in CRC tissues, and ectopic expression of ZNF24 was revealed to restrict the malignant phenotypes of CRC cells. In addition, restored ZNF24 attenuated 5-FU resistance of CRC cells by inhibiting the Wnt pathway and activating p53 signaling. Furthermore, an inhibitor of Wnt production 2 (IWP-2) treatment was an alternative to ZNF24 up-regulation in sensitizing CRC cells to 5-FU treatment. In conclusion, our results indicate that ZNF24 inhibits 5-FU resistance of CRC cells by suppressing the Wnt pathway and activating p53 signaling, which offers a potential strategy for managing chemoresistance in CRC.

BACKGROUND: The objective of this study is to identify and evaluate the risk factors associated with the development of postoperative pulmonary complications (PPCs) in elderly patients undergoing video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery lobectomy under general anesthesia. METHODS: The retrospective study consecutively included elderly patients (≥ 70 years old) who underwent thoracoscopic lobectomy at Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University from January 1, 2018 to August 31, 2023. The demographic characteristics, the preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative parameters were collected and analyzed using multivariate logistic regression to identify the prediction of risk factors for PPCs. RESULTS: 322 patients were included for analysis, and 115 patients (35.7%) developed PPCs. Multifactorial regression analysis showed that ASA ≥ III (P = 0.006, 95% CI: 1.230 ∼ 3.532), duration of one-lung ventilation (P = 0.033, 95% CI: 1.069 ∼ 4.867), smoking (P = 0.027, 95% CI: 1.072 ∼ 3.194) and COPD (P = 0.015, 95% CI: 1.332 ∼ 13.716) are independent risk factors for PPCs after thoracoscopic lobectomy in elderly patients. CONCLUSION: Risk factors for PPCs are ASA ≥ III, duration of one-lung ventilation, smoking and COPD in elderly patients over 70 years old undergoing thoracoscopic lobectomy. It is necessary to pay special attention to these patients to help optimize the allocation of resources and enhance preventive efforts.

In kagome lattice, with the emergence of Dirac cones and flat band in electronic structure, it provides a versatile ground for exploring intriguing interplay among frustrated geometry, topology and correlation. However, such engaging interest is strongly limited by available kagome materials in nature. Here we report on a synthetic strategy of constructing kagome systems via self-intercalation of Fe atoms into the van der Waals gap of FeSe2 via molecular beam epitaxy. Using low-temperature scanning tunneling microscopy, we unveil a kagome-like morphology upon intercalating a 2 × 2 ordered Fe atoms, resulting in a stoichiometry of Fe5Se8. Both the bias-dependent STM imaging and theoretical modeling calculations suggest that the kagome pattern mainly originates from slight but important reconstruction of topmost Se atoms, incurred by the nonequivalent subsurface Fe sites due to the intercalation. Our study demonstrates an alternative approach of constructing artificial kagome structures, which envisions to be tuned for exploring correlated quantum states.

Nickel-rich layered oxides (NLOs) are considered as one of the most promising cathode materials for next-generation high-energy lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), yet their practical applications are currently challenged by the unsatisfactory cyclability and reliability owing to their inherent interfacial and structural instability. Herein, we demonstrate an approach to reverse the unstable nature of NLOs through surface solid reaction, by which the reconstructed surface lattice turns stable and robust against both side reactions and chemophysical breakdown, resulting in improved cycling performance. Specifically, conformal La(OH)3 nanoshells are built with their thicknesses controlled at nanometer accuracy, which act as a Li+ capturer and induce controlled reaction with the NLO surface lattices, thereby transforming the particle crust into an epitaxial layer with localized Ni/Li disordering, where lithium deficiency and nickel stabilization are both achieved by transforming oxidative Ni3+ into stable Ni2+. An optimized balance between surface stabilization and charge transfer is demonstrated by a representative NLO material, namely, LiNi0.83Co0.07Mn0.1O2, whose surface engineering leads to a highly improved capacity retention and excellent rate capability with a strong capability to inhibit the crack of NLO particles. Our study highlights the importance of surface chemistry in determining chemical and structural behaviors and paves a research avenue in controlling the surface lattice for the stabilization of NLOs toward reliable high-energy LIBs.

To solve surface carrier recombination and sluggish water oxidation kinetics of hematite (α-Fe2 O3 ) photoanodes, herein, an attractive surface modification strategy is developed to successively deposit ultrathin CoOx overlayer and Ni single atoms on titanium (Ti)-doped α-Fe2 O3 (Ti:Fe2 O3 ) nanorods through a two-step atomic layer deposition (ALD) and photodeposition process. The collaborative decoration of ultrathin CoOx overlayer and Ni single atoms can trigger a big boost in photo-electrochemical (PEC) performance for water splitting over the obtained Ti:Fe2 O3 /CoOx /Ni photoanode, with the photocurrent density reaching 1.05 mA cm-2 at 1.23 V vs. reversible hydrogen electrode (RHE), more than three times that of Ti:Fe2 O3 (0.326 mA cm-2 ). Electrochemical and electronic investigations reveal that the surface passivation effect of ultrathin CoOx overlayer can reduce surface carrier recombination, while the catalysis effect of Ni single atoms can accelerate water oxidation kinetics. Moreover, theoretical calculations evidence that the synergy of ultrathin CoOx overlayer and Ni single atoms can lower the adsorption free energy of OH* intermediates and relieve the potential-determining step (PDS) for oxygen evolution reaction (OER). This work provides an exemplary modification through rational engineering of surface electrochemical and electronic properties for the improved PEC performances, which can be applied in other metal oxide semiconductors as well.

Electrostatic dielectric capacitors are essential components in advanced electronic and electrical power systems due to their ultrafast charging/discharging speed and high power density. A major challenge, however, is how to improve their energy densities to effectuate the next-generation applications that demand miniaturization and integration. Here, we report a high-entropy stabilized Bi2Ti2O7-based dielectric film that exhibits an energy density as high as 182 J cm-3 with an efficiency of 78% at an electric field of 6.35 MV cm-1. Our results reveal that regulating the atomic configurational entropy introduces favourable and stable microstructural features, including lattice distorted nano-crystalline grains and a disordered amorphous-like phase, which enhances the breakdown strength and reduces the polarization switching hysteresis, thus synergistically contributing to the energy storage performance. This high-entropy approach is expected to be widely applicable for the development of high-performance dielectrics.

We demonstrate the use of spectrograms of the field-induced second-harmonic (FISH) signal generated in ambient air, to reconstruct the absolute temporal electric field of ultra-broadband terahertz-infrared (THz-IR) pulses with bandwidths exceeding 100 THz. The approach is applicable even with relatively long (150-femtosecond) optical detection pulses, where the relative intensity and phase can be extracted from the moments of the spectrogram, as demonstrated by transmission spectroscopy of very thin samples. Auxiliary EFISH/ABCD measurements are used to provide the absolute field and phase calibration, respectively. We take into account the beam-shape/propagation effects about the detection focus on the measured FISH signals, which affect the field calibration, and show how an analysis of a set of measurements vs. truncation of the unfocused THz-IR beam can be used to correct for these. This approach could also be applied to the field calibration of ABCD measurements of conventional THz pulses.

Dark modes represent a class of forbidden transitions or transitions with weak dipole moments between energy states. Due to their low transition probability, it is difficult to realize their interaction with light, let alone achieve the strong interaction of the modes with the photons in a cavity. However, by mutual coupling with a bright mode, the strong interaction of dark modes with photons is possible. This type of mediated interaction is widely investigated in the metamaterials community and is known under the term electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT). Here, we report strong coupling between a plasmonic dark mode of an EIT-like metamaterial with the photons of a 1D photonic crystal cavity in the terahertz frequency range. The coupling between the dark mode and the cavity photons is mediated by a plasmonic bright mode, which is proven by the observation of a frequency splitting which depends on the strength of the inductive interaction between the plasmon bright and dark modes of the EIT-like metamaterial. In addition, since the plasmonic dark mode strongly couples with the cavity dark mode, we observes four polariton modes. The frequency splitting by interaction of the four modes (plasmonic bright and dark mode and the two eigenmodes of the photonic cavity) can be reproduced in the framework of a model of four coupled harmonic oscillators.

Vanadium dioxide (VO2) exhibits the most abrupt metal-to-insulator transition (MIT) property near room temperature among the representative 3d-orbital correlated oxides, and its structural variation during the MIT usually results in poor mechanical properties as bulk pellets. Moreover, compositing with highly resistive oxides has been reported to improve the mechanical strength of bulk VO2 since the generation and propagation of microcracks is suppressed upon thermocycling across the MIT; further, their respective impacts on electrical transportation are yet unclear. Herein, we demonstrate the role of these highly resistive oxide composites (e.g., HfO2, CoO and Al2O3) in reducing charge leakage along the microcracks within the insulating phase of VO2, leading to more abrupt MIT properties from the perspective of electrical transportation. This enables the possibility of simultaneously regulating the critical temperature and abrupt MIT transition, as well as the mechanical properties of the VO2 bulk pellets via compositing with oxides with different melting points using spark plasma-assisted reactive sintering (SPARS).

PURPOSE: To analyze the perioperative risk factors related to lumbar spine fusion surgery in elderly patients. METHODS: 202 elderly patients (age range 77-92 years old) who have underwent lumbar spinal fusion surgeries between January 2019 and June 2021 were retrospectively investigated. Information of age, sex, comorbidity, fixation segments, operation time, surgical blood loss and perioperative complications during hospitalization were collected. Risk factors for complications were analyzed. Student's t-test, chi-square test, Mann-Whitney U­test and multivariate generalized linear models were used. RESULTS: In this study, 31 patients presented complications (15.3%) in these elderly patients with an average age of 79.1 years, including 1 patient with intraoperative complication and 30 patients with postoperative complications; and 2 out of 31 patients (1%) died. The elderly patients were divided into group A (24 patients) with major postoperative complications and group B (178 patients) without major postoperative complications. Major postoperative complications were significantly associated with age (univariate analysis, t = 3.92, P < 0.001; multivariate analysis, OR = 1.323, 95%CI 1.126-1.554, P = 0.001), but not significantly associated with other factors tested (sex, comorbidity, fixation segments, operation time, surgical blood loss). Then 173 patients (range 77-81 years) were selected and the rate of major postoperative complications of each age from 78 to 81 years was compared with that of 77 years patients, respectively. We found that the ratios of complications at 80 years (OR = 10.000, P = 0.019) and 81 years (OR = 10.000, P = 0.009) were higher than the ratio at 77 years. CONCLUSIONS: Although with great progress of medical technology, increasing age was still the independent risk factor for major postoperative complications in elderly patients undergoing lumbar spinal fusion surgery. As for the incidence of major postoperative complications, 80 and 81 years old patients was 10 folds higher than that of 77 years old patients, reminding us to pay more attention to 80 years old and even older patients.

Physical properties of materials are mainly determined by valence electron configurations, where different valence shells would induce divergent phenomena. In compounds containing Sc2+ , 3d electron occupancy is expected, the same as other transition metal atoms like Ti3+ . But this situation still awaits experimental verification in inorganic materials. Here, we selected ScS to measure the valence electron density and orbital population of Sc2+ through delicate quantitative convergent-beam electron diffraction. With the absence of 3d orbital features around Sc-atom sites and the nearly bare population of t2g orbital, the unintuitive occupation of 4s orbital in Sc2+ is concluded. It should be the first time to report such a special electron configuration in a transition metal compound, in which 4s rather than 3d orbital is preferred. Our findings reveal the distinct behavior of Sc and probable ways to modulate material properties by controlling electron orbitals.

The application of solid-state batteries (SSBs) is challenged by the inherently poor interfacial contact between the solid-state electrolyte (SSE) and the electrodes, typically a metallic lithium anode. Building artificial intermediate nanofilms is effective in tackling this roadblock, but their implementation largely relies on vapor-based techniques such as atomic layer deposition, which are expensive, energy-intensive, and time-consuming due to the monolayer deposited per cycle. Herein, an easy and low-cost wet-chemistry fabrication process is used to engineer the anode/solid electrolyte interface in SSBs with nanoscale precision. This coordination-assisted deposition is initiated with polyacrylate acid as a functional polymer to control the surface reaction, which modulates the distribution and decomposition of metal precursors to reliably form a uniform crack-free and flexible nanofilm of a large variety of metal oxides. For demonstration, artificial Al2O3 interfacial nanofilms were deposited on a ceramic SSE, typically garnet-structured Li6.5La3Zr1.5Ta0.5O12 (LLZT), that led to a significant decrease in the Li/LLZT interfacial resistance (from 2079.5 to 8.4 Ω cm2) as well as extraordinarily long cycle life of the assembled SSBs. This strategy enables the use of a nickel-rich LiNi0.83Co0.07Mn0.1O2 cathode to deliver a reversible capacity of 201.5 mAh g-1 at a considerable loading of 4.8 mg cm-2, featuring performance metrics for an SSB that is competitive with those of traditional Li-ion systems. Our study demonstrates the potential of solution-based routes as an affordable and scalable manufacturing alternative to vapor-based deposition techniques that can accelerate the development of SSBs for practical applications.

Intercalation of organic molecules into the van der Waals gaps of layered materials allows for the preparation of organic/inorganic superlattices for varying promising applications. Herein, the preparation of a series of dye molecule/MoO3 organic/inorganic superlattice nanoparticles by aqueous intercalation of several dye molecules into layered MoO3 for fluorescence imaging-guided catalytic therapy is reported. The long MoO3 nanobelts are treated by ball milling and subsequent aqueous intercalation followed by a cation ion exchange to obtain the dye molecule-intercalated MoO3 organic/inorganic superlattices. Importantly, because of the activation induced by organic intercalation, the Nile blue (NB)-intercalated MoO3-x (NB-MoO3-x ) nanoparticles show excellent catalytic activity for the generation of reactive oxygen species, that is, hydroxyl radical (·OH) and superoxide anion (·O2- ), through catalyzing H2 O2 and O2 , respectively. Moreover, the intense fluorescence of the intercalated NB molecules endows NB-MoO3-x with the in vivo fluorescence imaging capability. Thus, the polyvinylpyrrolidone-modified NB-MoO3-x nanoparticles can be used for tumor-specific catalytic therapy to realize efficient cancer cell elimination in vitro and fluorescence imaging-guided tumor ablation in vivo.

The electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction reaction (CO2 RR) provides a sustainable strategy to relieve global warming and achieve carbon neutrality. However, the practical application of CO2 RR is still limited by the poor selectivity and low current density. Here, the surface molecular functionalization of unusual phase metal nanomaterials for high-performance CO2 RR under industry-relevant current density is reported. It is observed that 5-mercapto-1-methyltetrazole (MMT)-modified 4H/face-centered cubic (fcc) gold (Au) nanorods demonstrate greatly enhanced CO2 RR performance than original oleylamine (OAm)-capped 4H/fcc Au nanorods in both an H-type cell and flow cell. Significantly, MMT-modified 4H/fcc Au nanorods deliver an excellent carbon monoxide selectivity of 95.6% under the industry-relevant current density of 200 mA cm-2 . Density functional theory calculations reveal distinct electronic modulations by surface ligands, in which MMT improves while OAm suppresses the surface electroactivity of 4H/fcc Au nanorods. Furthermore, this method can be extended to various MMT derivatives and conventional fcc Au nanostructures in boosting CO2 RR performance.
