Due to its regenerative action, extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) is applied in treating integumentary and musculoskeletal diseases. However, other potential therapeutic interventions are being investigated. It is essential to fully understand its mitochondrial signaling pathway to achieve this, which plays a fundamental role in elucidating the mechanism of action and possible therapeutic interventions. Thus, this study aimed to analyze the effect of ESWT on mitochondrial pathways through the relationship between lipolysis and adipocyte apoptosis, as well as cellular functionality. This is a non-randomized case-control clinical trial where obese women received ESWT sessions in the abdominal region, after which tissue samples were collected for histological and immunohistochemical analyses of adipose tissue. The data demonstrated positivity in the expression of mitochondrial markers related to cell apoptosis, such as FIS1 (p < 0.0203) and OPA1 (p < 0.0283), in addition to the positivity of anti-MFN1, responsible for regulating mitochondrial cell proliferation (p < 0.0003). In summary, this study demonstrates that ESWT was able to activate specific mitochondrial signaling pathways, which may be associated with its ability to stimulate lipolysis and apoptosis in superficial adipose tissue. However, no significant improvements in cellular functionality were observed.

OBJECTIVES: Small fibre pathology is frequently described in fibromyalgia (FM), but its evolution and its role in clinical outcome of the disease are unclear. This longitudinal observational real-life study aimed to monitor the evolution of skin nerve fibre density in FM, in view of the clinical data. METHODS: Sixty-two FM patients were controlled by means of skin biopsy and clinical assessment after 18 months of follow-up. RESULTS: At T0 intraepidermal nerve fibre density (IENFD) was normal in 10 patients, reduced at thigh-proximal-site in 46 cases and decreased at proximal and foot-distal-site in 6 patients. At follow up-T1-the IENFD was unchanged, while Brief Pain Inventory-BPI-pain sub score, DN4 and fatigue were improved. Reduced IENFD at proximal and distal sites, together with fatigue and BPI-motor and work sub scores were predictors of more severe disability measured with Fibromyalgia Impact Questionnaire (FIQ) at T1. Reduced IENFD influenced a minor effect of drugs-antiepileptics and/or antidepressants, and physical exercise on fatigue. CONCLUSIONS: Small fibre impairment seems stable in medium term in FM. A possible influence of small fibre dysfunction on motor performance could have a role in FM evolution. The beneficial effect of physical exercise could be limited in patients with reduced IENFD.

Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) is known for its ability to induce a photochemical process, primarily targeting mitochondria, a process referred to as photobiomodulation (PBM). Recently, its use has been attributed as an adjunct in obesity treatment, to stimulate lipolysis and apoptosis. However, the pathway of stimulation remains uncertain. Thus, the objective of this study was to understand whether mitochondrial stimulation occurs in adipose tissue cells after PBM therapy, which could lead to the processes of lipolysis and apoptosis. A non-randomized clinical trial was conducted using a split abdomen design in obese women who received red and infrared LED photobiomodulation therapy (PBMT). The patients underwent bariatric surgery, and adipose tissue samples were collected for immunohistochemical analysis with primary mitochondrial antibodies. Adipose tissue samples subjected to LED intervention exhibited positivity in mitochondrial antibodies for cAMP, DRP1, FAS, FIS1, MFN2, and OPA1 (p<0.001) compared to the control group. In conclusion, we observed that PBMT was capable of generating mitochondrial stimulation in adipose tissue cells, as evidenced by the positive antibody signals. This finding suggests that mitochondrial stimulation could be the mechanism and action underlying adipose tissue lipolysis and apoptosis.

Photobiomodulation therapy (PBMT) has become an adjuvant therapeutic possibility in body remodeling procedures. Given this scenario, this study was proposed with the aim of evaluating the effects of PBMT to Light Emitting Diode (LED) associating the red (630 nm) and infrared (850 nm) wavelengths in the subcutaneous fatty tissue. This controlled study of comparative intervention that evaluated a sample of subcutaneous fatty tissue from women with grade II obesity. The participants received the LED PBMT treatment with associated red and infrared wavelengths sequentially on the left side of the abdomen and the right side was considered as control, with the collection of biological material performed at the time of bariatric surgery. For histological and immunohistochemical evaluation, Caspase 3, Cleaved Caspase 3, CD68+, HSL and adipophilin markers were used. The participants showed positivity in the expression of Caspase 3 and Cleaved Caspase (p < .0001), CD68+ macrophages (p < .0001), HSL (p < .0001) and adipophilin (p < .0013) in the intervention sample when compared to the control. PBMT and LED associating red and infrared wavelengths were able to promote autophagic lipolysis induced by adipocyte cell apoptosis in the subcutaneous tissue of obese individuals.

The technology of extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) has been studied around the world for its possible benefits in the treatment and rehabilitation of aesthetic disorders. To better elucidate its real physiological effect on the integumentary tissue, this study was proposed aimed at evaluating whether ESWT can act to stimulate the inflammatory process and angiogenesis in the dermis and epidermis of obese individuals. This is an immunohistological study that evaluated a set of samples of the integumentary tissue of women with grade II obesity with weight loss of 10% of the initial weight undergoing ESWT treatment; the collection of biological material was performed at the time of surgery of bariatric surgery. For immunohistochemical evaluation, the markers to assess the presence and distribution of inflammatory cells, anti-COX-2, CD3, CD20, CD163, and NK were used. For physiological stimulus pathways for blood vessel angiogenesis, markers CD 34, CD 105 and VEGF were used. Fourteen obese women were included in the study. Positivity was evidenced in the epidermal expression of markers of the inflammatory process COX-2, CD3, CD20, NK cells, CD68, and CD163 (p < 0.0001) in the intervention sample when compared to controls. There was a positive expression for the angiogenesis markers CD105 and VEGF (p < 0.0001) when comparing the intervention group with the control group. It was concluded that ESWT can stimulate a local inflammatory process, mediating and modulating important growth factors to act in the repair process and skin tissue regeneration, being considered a promising treatment for skin diseases related to weight gain or loss.

Q-switched 1064 nm/532 nm Nd: YAG Lasers present important characteristics which can contribute toward the removal of tattoos, for having the ability to reach only specific targets with minimal damage to the tissue. Despite reports of their clinical benefits, only a few scientific studies demonstrate the efficacy and safety of these types of lasers in the short and long term. To substantiate the effects, benefits, and safety of the application of Q-switched 1064 nm/532 nm Nd: YAG lasers, a systematic review was carried out from September to December of 2019, about the studies which report their use in the removal of tattoos, published in the last 20 years. Randomized clinical trials in humans were considered, as long as they evaluated the efficacy, safety, and benefits of the application of Q-switched 1064 nm/532 nm Nd: YAG lasers in the removal of black and color tattoos in different skin phototypes. One hundred and twenty-two articles were identified after the titles, abstracts were read, and duplicates were removed; six articles were left, which were included in the research (188 individuals). The Q-switched 1064 nm/532 nm Nd: YAG lasers seem promising in the short term, with minimal adverse effects; however, the efficacy and safety in the long term still present limitations. Consequently, future research is necessary, with better methodological standardization applied and with a follow-up for a longer period of evaluation of possible permanent adverse effects, to determine the standardization and safety of the therapy with the lasers Nd: YAG de 1064 nm/532 nm Q-switched.

α-synuclein is a small protein that is mainly expressed in the synaptic terminals of nervous tissue. Although its implication in neurodegeneration is well established, the physiological role of α-synuclein remains elusive. Given its involvement in the modulation of synaptic transmission and the emerging role of microtubules at the synapse, the current study aimed at investigating whether α-synuclein becomes involved with this cytoskeletal component at the presynapse. We first analyzed the expression of α-synuclein and its colocalization with α-tubulin in murine brain. Differences were found between cortical and striatal/midbrain areas, with substantia nigra pars compacta and corpus striatum showing the lowest levels of colocalization. Using a proximity ligation assay, we revealed the direct interaction of α-synuclein with α-tubulin in murine and in human brain. Finally, the previously unexplored interaction of the two proteins in vivo at the synapse was disclosed in murine striatal presynaptic boutons through multiple approaches, from confocal spinning disk to electron microscopy. Collectively, our data strongly suggest that the association with tubulin/microtubules might actually be an important physiological function for α-synuclein in the synapse, thus suggesting its potential role in a neuropathological context.

Using light sources in phototherapy has presented promising results regarding several types of facial and body skin affections for centuries. The neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet (ND:YAG) 1064 nm laser has become a standard treatment in dermatology for dermatological disturbances related to the pilous follicle and the structures surrounding it. Despite the reports of its clinical benefits, few scientific studies show its actual safety and efficacy. To substantiate the effects, benefits, and safety of applying an ND:YAG 1064 laser in the epilation process during esthetic treatment, a systematic review was carried out between October 2018 and January 2019, on studies published in the last 20 years. Randomized clinical trials in humans were considered that evaluated the efficacy, safety, and benefits of ND:YAG laser application at 1064 nm wavelengths for hair removal. A total of 198 articles were identified; 58 articles remained after their titles and abstracts were read; and 21 articles were selected after the removal of duplicates. After the integral reading, 13 of these articles were included in the systematic review (734 patients). The ND:YAG 1064 nm laser presents safety and promising, beneficial effects in epilation. However, further scientific studies with better methodologic quality are necessary to better standardize ND:YAG laser therapy and clarify its parameters for photoepilation.

Non-ablative and ablative fractional erbium lasers are among the most frequently used resources in dermatology for facial rejuvenation and for treating dermatological disorders. This type of erbium laser can be found at wavelengths of 1540 or 1550 nm, which are classified as non-ablative erbium glass, and at 2940 nm, classified as ablative erbium YAG. Despite the reports of their clinical benefits, few scientific studies have demonstrated the efficacy and safety of these lasers in the short or long term. In order to substantiate the effects, benefits, and safety of applying the erbium glass and erbium YAG lasers, a systematic review was carried out from August to December 2019 about studies published in the last 20 years. Randomized clinical trials in humans were considered that evaluated the efficacy, safety, and benefits of applying the fractional lasers erbium glass and erbium YAG to facial rejuvenation, skin spots, and atrophic acne scars. A total of 338 articles were identified; 76 articles remained after their titles and abstracts were read, and 42 articles were selected after removing the duplicates. After the articles were read in full, 17 of these articles were included in the systematic review (453 patients). The erbium glass and erbium YAG lasers seem promising in the short term, with minimal adverse effects; however, the long-term efficacy and safety still present limitations. Consequently, future research is needed, with better methodological standardization and a follow-up with a longer evaluation period for possible permanent adverse effects to determine the standardization and safety of therapy with erbium glass and erbium YAG lasers.

Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) has had a wide use in rehabilitation, and has presented positive effects in the treatment of unaesthetic affections. The objective of the present study was to search, in the literature, the mechanisms of action and the physiological aspects of shockwaves acting on the biological tissue to improve the condition of cellulite and localized fat. The systematic review of the literature was carried out in the period of September 2016 to February 2017 based on the bibliographic databases such as Lilacs, Medline, PubMed, and SciELO. Fifteen articles were identified in that systematic review, three of which were excluded as they did not make the complete access to the article available or the theme investigated did not encompass the objective of the study. The revision demonstrated that extracorporeal shockwaves present relevant effects on the biological tissue, which leads to the restructuring of skin properties and subcutaneous tissue, thus clinically improving the aspects of cellulite and localized fat.

Background: Known in the past for its toxic aspect as the main urban pollutant, in the last few decades, ozone has been gaining greater visibility for its possible antimicrobial, antiviral, and antioxidant effects when used in human dermatological pathologies. Despite the reports of clinical benefits, the standard dosage for clinical efficacy and safety are yet not clear, nor are its means of application and its true acting mechanism. Objective: We conducted a review to determine the efficacy and safety of ozone therapy for a variety of dermatological conditions. Methods: We considered clinical trials (both randomized and non-randomized) published between December 2020 and March 2021 as long as they provided some PICO information, i.e., population (P), intervention (I), and study design. The skin dermatological conditions researched were: acne, dermatitis, psoriasis, systemic sclerosis, herpes, aging, ulcers, and skin scarring. Results: A total of 326 articles were identified and 150 remained after duplicates were removed. After titles, abstracts and full articles were read, 17 articles were included in the systematic review (with 643 patients). Conclusion: Ozone therapy seems promising for some dermatological conditions; however, the articles included in this review had methodological limitations and did not sufficiently demonstrate sound evidence for safe therapy. Therefore, more studies with better methodological standards and longer-term assessments of side effects should be conducted to achieve better standards and safety in ozone therapy for dermatological conditions.

Mutant subunits of the neuronal nicotinic ACh receptor (nAChR) can cause Autosomal Dominant Sleep-related Hypermotor Epilepsy (ADSHE), characterized by frontal seizures during non-rapid eye movement (NREM) sleep. We studied the cellular bases of the pathogenesis in brain slices from mice conditionally expressing the ADSHE-linked ß2V287L nAChR subunit. ß2V287L mice displayed minor structural alterations, except for a ~10% decrease of prefrontal cortex thickness. However, they showed a substantial decrease of the excitatory input to layer V fast-spiking (FS) interneurons, despite a concomitant increase in the number of glutamatergic terminals around the cell soma. Hence, prefrontal hyperexcitability may depend on a permanent impairment of surround inhibition. The effect disappeared when ß2V287L was silenced until postnatal day 15th, suggesting that the transgene selectively affects the maturation of glutamatergic synapses on FS neurons. The other main population of interneurons in layer V was constituted by somatostatin-expressing regular spiking cells. When tested with 10 µM nicotine, these displayed larger somatic nicotinic currents in transgenic mice. Thus, during wakefulness, activation of ß2V287L-containing nAChRs by the high cholinergic tone may counteract hyperexcitability by promoting local inhibition by somatostatin-expressing cells and decreasing the effect of glutamatergic deficit in FS neurons. This interpretation was tested in networks disinhibited by 2 µM bicuculline. Slices expressing ß2V287L were more susceptible to develop synchronized activity in the absence of nicotine. Addition of the drug boosted excitability in the controls, but had little effect in ß2V287L. Our findings suggest why NREM sleep favors ADSHE seizures and nicotine can be palliative in patients.

Background: Obesity became a worldwide public health problem and its treatment presents a strict relationship with skin flaccidity, for which the development of non-invasive therapies is an emerging field. Objective: This study aims to evaluate the physiological response of the skin tissue of individuals with obesity with flaccidity to the physiological stimulus of shockwave therapy (ESWT). Methods: This is a comparative intervention study based on histological and immunohistochemical analyses of a set of samples of skin tissue of women with Grade II obesity who achieved a 10 percent preoperative weight loss before bariatric surgery and complaints of skin flaccidity, subjected to the ESWT treatment. A total of seven sessions were carried out in the abdominal region on the left side, and the collateral side was used as control; the biological material was collected at the moment of the bariatric surgery. Hematoxylin and Eosin, Masson's trichrome, Picrosirius Red and the markers for immunohistochemical were used for the morphological evaluation. Results: Fourteen women were included in the research. The results demonstrated that the tissue which underwent the ESWT intervention presented significant increases of fibroblast cells (p<0.0001) and collagen fibers Type I and II (p<0.0002). In the significant expressions of the markers FGF1, FGF2, FGFR1 were identified in the exposed side (p<0.0002, 0.0017, <0.0001, respectively) as well as a significantly higher expression of Ki67 marker of cell proliferation (p<0.0002). Conclusion: ESWT was associated with a significant increase of cell proliferation and collagen expression in flaccid skin of individuals who achieved weight loss before bariatric surgery.

Exposure to environmental toxins, including hydrocarbon solvents, increases the risk of developing Parkinson's disease. An emergent hypothesis considers microtubule dysfunction as one of the crucial events in triggering neuronal degeneration in Parkinson's disease. Here, we used 2,5-hexanedione (2,5-HD), the toxic metabolite of n-hexane, to analyse the early effects of toxin-induced neurodegeneration on the cytoskeleton in multiple model systems. In PC12 cells differentiated with nerve growth factor for 5 days, we found that 2,5-HD treatment affected all the cytoskeletal components. Moreover, we observed alterations in microtubule distribution and stability, in addition to the imbalance of post-translational modifications of α-tubulin. Similar defects were also found in vivo in 2,5-HD-intoxicated mice. Interestingly, we also found that 2,5-HD exposure induced significant changes in microtubule stability in human skin fibroblasts obtained from Parkinson's disease patients harbouring mutations in PRKN gene, whereas it was ineffective in healthy donor fibroblasts, suggesting that the genetic background may really make the difference in microtubule susceptibility to this environmental Parkinson's disease-related toxin. In conclusion, by showing the imbalance between dynamic and stable microtubules in hydrocarbon-induced parkinsonism, our data support the crucial role of microtubule defects in triggering neurodegeneration.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the food intolerance after banded Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB), correlating the data of food ingestion. METHODS: This is an observational prospective study, which evaluated the individuals before and 3, 6, and 12 months after banded RYGB. We performed an anthropometric evaluation and an assessment of the habitual food ingestion and applied a food tolerance questionnaire. RESULTS: The study group was comprised of 75 individuals, 89% of them female, with a percentual weight loss of 29.73 ± 6.79%. The observed results were that food intolerance increased over time and 1 year after surgery, only 2.7% reported to ingest any type of food, while the greatest difficulty was related to red meat (80%). Regarding vomits, after surgery, this proportion significantly increased after 3, 6, and 12 months. Preoperatively, the mean protein ingestion was 98 g, which decreased to 50 g after 3 and 6 months and to 51 g after 12 months. As a conclusion, food intolerance significantly increased following banded RYGB, leading to a crescent dissatisfaction regarding food and an increase in the vomits frequency.

BACKGROUND: Excess trunk body fat in obese individuals influences respiratory physiological function. The aims of this study were to compare volumetric capnography findings (VCap) between severely obese patients and normal-weight subjects and to assess whether there is any association between neck circumference (NC), waist-hip ratio (WHR) and VCap among grade III obese individuals. DESIGN AND SETTING: Analytical observational case-matched cross-sectional study, University of Campinas. METHODS: This cross-sectional study compared VCap variables between 60 stage III obese patients and 60 normal-weight individuals. RESULTS: In comparison with the normal-weight group, obese patients presented higher alveolar minute volume (8.92 ± 4.94 versus 6.09 ± 2.2; P = < 0.0001), CO2 production (278 ± 91.0 versus 209 ± 60.23; P < 0.0001), expiratory tidal volume (807 ± 365 versus 624 ± 202; P = 0.005), CO2 production per breath (21.1 ± 9.7 versus 16.7 ± 6.16; P = 0.010) and peak expiratory flow (30.9 ± 11.9 versus 25.5 ± 9.13; P = 0.004). The end-expiratory CO2 (PetCO2) concentration (33.5 ± 4.88 versus 35.9 ± 3.79; P = 0.013) and the phase 3 slope were normalized according to expired tidal volume (0.02 ± 0.05 versus 0.03 ± 0.01; P = 0.049) were lower in the obese group. CONCLUSIONS: The greater the NC was, the larger were the alveolar minute volume, anatomical dead space, CO2 production per minute and per breath and expiratory volume; whereas the smaller were the phase 2 slope (P2Slp), phase 3 slope (P3Slp) and pressure drop in the mouth during inspiration.

In the past centuries, the human body was undervalued; nowadays, however, it is overvalued, and thus the manifestation of the dissatisfactions regarding the body has been increasing. Most of the time, these dissatisfactions are related to cellulite, which is most common in women. Its treatment is one of the challenges which encourage the development of new therapeutic modalities, among them the shockwave therapy. Objective. To evaluate the efficacy of ESWT in the treatment of cellulite in gluteus and posterior of thigh. Method. This is a prospective and comparative study, in which volunteer women who attended the criteria of inclusion were selected and who were subjected to 10 sessions of ESWT. The following were performed as an evaluation method: anthropometry, perimetry, skin viscoelasticity with the Cutometer®, thickness of hypodermis with diagnostic ultrasound, analysis of the scale of severity of cellulite (CSS), and quality of life by the Celluqol® questionnaire. The evaluations occurred before the first session (baseline), after 6 and 10 sessions, and during a follow-up of 3 months after the last session. The statistical test applied was the ANOVA one-way with post hoc of Tukey (P-value < 0.05). Results. There was significant improvement (P<0.05) for CSS, for the variable referring to gross elasticity and skin deformation ability evaluated in the Cutometer® and improvement of quality of life represented by Celluqol®. The result was maintained particularly in the follow-up of 3 months after the end of the treatment. Conclusion. The results presented demonstrated the effectiveness and safety of ESWT in the treatment of cellulite and in the decrease of the degrees, improvement of the aspect of the skin, and reestablishment of quality of life. The Na+/K+/Cl- cotransporter-1 (NKCC1) and the K+/Cl- cotransporter-2 (KCC2) set the transmembrane Cl- gradient in the brain, and are implicated in epileptogenesis. We studied the postnatal distribution of NKCC1 and KCC2 in wild-type (WT) mice, and in a mouse model of sleep-related epilepsy, carrying the mutant ß2-V287L subunit of the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR). In WT neocortex, immunohistochemistry showed a wide distribution of NKCC1 in neurons and astrocytes. At birth, KCC2 was localized in neuronal somata, whereas at subsequent stages it was mainly found in the somatodendritic compartment. The cotransporters' expression was quantified by densitometry in the transgenic strain. KCC2 expression increased during the first postnatal weeks, while the NKCC1 amount remained stable, after birth. In mice expressing ß2-V287L, the KCC2 amount in layer V of prefrontal cortex (PFC) was lower than in the control littermates at postnatal day 8 (P8), with no concomitant change in NKCC1. Consistently, the GABAergic excitatory to inhibitory switch was delayed in PFC layer V of mice carrying ß2-V287L. At P60, the amount of KCC2 was instead higher in mice bearing the transgene. Irrespective of genotype, NKCC1 and KCC2 were abundantly expressed in the neuropil of most thalamic nuclei since birth. However, KCC2 expression decreased by P60 in the reticular nucleus, and more so in mice expressing ß2-V287L. Therefore, a complex regulatory interplay occurs between heteromeric nAChRs and KCC2 in postnatal forebrain. The pathogenetic effect of ß2-V287L may depend on altered KCC2 amounts in PFC during synaptogenesis, as well as in mature thalamocortical circuits.

CONTEXT AND OBJECTIVE:: The combined effect of obesity and asthma may lead to significant impairment of quality of life (QOL). The aim here was to evaluate the prevalence of asthma among obese individuals, characterize the severity of impairment of quality of life and measure its relationship with pulmonary function. DESIGN AND SETTING:: Observational cross-sectional study in public university hospital. METHODS:: Morbidly obese individuals (body mass index > 40 kg/m2) seen in a bariatric surgery outpatient clinic and diagnosed with asthma, were included. Anthropometric data were collected, the Standardized Asthma Quality of Life Questionnaire (AQLQ(S)) was applied and spirometry was performed. The subjects were divided into two groups based on the median of the score in the questionnaire (worse < 4 and better > 4) and were compared regarding anthropometric data and pulmonary function. RESULTS:: Among the 4791 individuals evaluated, 219 were asthmatic; the prevalence of asthma was 4.57%. Of these, 91 individuals were called to start multidisciplinary follow-up during the study period, of whom 82 answered the questionnaire. The median score in the AQLQ(S) was 3.96 points and, thus, the individuals were classified as having moderate impairment of their overall QOL. When divided according to better or worse QOL, there was a statistically difference in forced expiratory flow (FEF) 25-75%, with higher values in the better QOL group. CONCLUSION:: The prevalence of asthma was 4.57% and QOL was impaired among the asthmatic obese individuals. The worst QOL domain related to environmental stimuli and the best QOL domain to limitations of the activities. Worse QOL was correlated with poorer values for FEF 25-75%.

INTRODUCTION: The obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) is a respiratory illness, characterized by recurrent episodes of apnea and hypopnea, leading to reduction or cessation of the airflow. Obesity is one of the major risk factors for the development of OSAS. To help in the diagnosis of this disease, easily applicable and low-cost questionnaries were developed, such as the Berlin Questionnaire (BQ). OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the efficacy of the BQ for the screening of OSAS among candidates to bariatric surgery in a multidisciplinary preoperative program. METHOD: This is an observational, descriptive and cross-sectional study which evaluated obese individuals that were being prepared for bariatric surgery by means of the BQ. RESULTS: BQ was able to detect that minimal variations in the body mass index, neck circumference and hip-to-waist ratio lead to changes in the risk to develop OSAS; the higher the values of these variables, the higher the risk for OSAS development. CONCLUSION: BQ was an efficient and reliable tool to demonstrate the high risk for OSAS development in individual with obesity.
