RESUMO

Understanding the decomposition process of ammonium nitrate (AN) on catalyst surfaces is crucial for the development of practical and efficient catalysts in AN-based propellants. In this study, two types of nano-Fe2O3 catalysts were synthesized: spherical particles with high-exposure (104) facets and flaky particles with high-exposure (110) facets. Through thermal analysis and particle size analysis, it was found that the nanosheet-Fe2O3 catalyst achieved more complete AN decomposition despite having a larger average particle size compared to nanosphere-Fe2O3. Subsequently, the effects of AN pyrolysis on the (110) and (104) facets were investigated by theoretical simulations. Through studying the interaction between AN and crystal facets, it was determined that the electron transfer efficiency on the (110) facet is stronger compared to that on the (104) facet. Additionally, the free-energy step diagrams for the reaction of the AN molecule on the two facets were calculated with the DFT + U method. Comparative analysis led us to conclude that the (110) facet of α-Fe2O3 is more favorable for AN pyrolysis compared to the (104) facet. Our study seeks to deepen the understanding of the mechanism underlying AN pyrolysis and present new ideas for the development of effective catalysts in AN pyrolysis.

Tetrazoles and their derivatives are essential for compound synthesis due to their versatility, effectiveness, stability in air, and cost-efficiency. This has stimulated interest in developing techniques for their production. In this work, four compounds, tetrazolo[1,5-c]pyrimidin-5-amine (1), N-(4-azidopyrimidin-2-yl)nitramide (2), tetrazolo[1,5-c]pyrimidin-5(6H)-one (3), and tetrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidin-5-amine (4), were obtained from commercially available reagents and straightforward synthetic methodologies. These new compounds were characterized by infrared (IR), 13C, and 1H NMR spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The solvent, temperature, and electron-donating group (EDG) factors that were responsible for the steering of azido-tetrazole equilibrium in all compounds were also studied. In addition, the detonation performance of the target compounds was calculated by using heats of formation (HOFs) and crystal densities. Hirshfeld surface analysis was used to examine the intermolecular interactions of the four synthesized compounds. The results show that the excellent properties of 1-4 are triggered by ionic bonds, hydrogen bonds, and π-π stacking interactions, indicating that these compounds have the potential to be used in the development of high-performance energetic materials. Additionally, DFT analysis is in support of experimental results, which proved the effect of different factors that can influence the azido-tetrazole equilibrium in the synthesized pyrimidine derivatives in the solution.

Vacancy defects are commonly present in crystals of energetic materials, and significantly influence the structural stability and decomposition mechanisms. However, there is a lack of profound understanding regarding the introduction of vacancy defects in energetic ionic salt, dihydroxylammonium 5,5'-bitetrazole-1,1'-dioxide (TKX-50). Due to the 1 : 2 ratio of anions to cations, TKX-50 possesses a more complex distribution of vacancy defects compared to traditional energetic materials. Based on the density functional theory method, the relatively favorable thermodynamic formation of vacancy defect distributions was revealed. The noncovalent interactions within the system, as well as the planarity of the anions, were investigated to understand the structural stability of TKX-50. Through ab initio molecular dynamics simulations, we discovered that vacancy defects can expedite the proton transfer during the initial decomposition stage of TKX-50 and affect the pathways of proton transfer. In the subsequent decomposition process, introduction of vacancy defects in the TKX-50 crystal leads to an earlier onset of ring-opening reactions and accelerates the appearance of decomposition products. The findings have the potential to provide insights into modeling vacancy defects in energetic ionic salts and reveal the impact of such defects on the structural stability and decomposition mechanisms of these materials.

Temporal interference (TI) as a new neuromodulation technique can be applied to non-invasive deep brain stimulation. In order to verify its effectiveness in the regulation of motor behavior in animals, this paper uses the TI method to focus the envelope electric field to the ventral posterior lateral nucleus (VPL) of the thalamus in the deep brain of mouse to regulate left- and right-turning motor behavior. The focusability of TI in the mouse VPL was analyzed by finite element method, and the focus area and volume were obtained by numerical calculation. A stimulator was used to generate TI current to stimulate the mouse VPL to verify the effectiveness of the TI stimulation method, and the accuracy of the focus location was further determined by c-Fos immunofluorescence experiments. The results showed that the electric field generated by TI stimulation was able to focus on the VPL nuclei when the stimulation current reached 800 µA; the mouse were able to make corresponding left and right turns according to the stimulation position; and the c-Fos positive cell markers in the VPL nuclei increased significantly after stimulation. This study confirms the feasibility of TI in regulating animal motor behavior and provides a non-invasive stimulation method for brain tissue for animal robots.

Obviously, the dispersion of nanocatalytic materials has significant influence on their catalytic performance. In this study, an evaluation method for the dispersion of nanomaterials was established according to the different solid UV absorptions of different substances by taking the dispersion of nanocopper oxide (nano-CuO) in superfine ammonium perchlorate (AP) as an example. The nano-CuO/superfine AP composites with different nano-CuO dispersions can be obtained by changing the process parameters, such as varying the grinding method, the grinding strength, and the grinding time. Three replicate experiments were carried out for different composites to derive the average values of absorbance at 212 nm, and the dispersion of nano-CuO in superfine AP was calculated using the difference equation, as the solid UV curves at 210-214 nm were almost identical for each sample, especially at 212 nm. The properties of different samples were tested by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and thermogravimetry-mass spectrometry (TG-MS). The results show that the particle size and structure of superfine AP in the composites prepared by different methods were not changed. The XRD and IR techniques in this study were unable to characterize the dispersion of nano-CuO in the composites due to its low content. The dispersion of nano-CuO in the nano-CuO/superfine AP composites was significantly enhanced with the increase of grinding strength and grinding time, and the dispersion of nano-CuO was positively correlated with its catalytic performance, which means that the thermal decomposition performance of different composites improved with the increasing dispersion of nano-CuO. Highly dispersed nano-CuO exhibited a significant catalytic effect on superfine AP in TG-MS. The above conclusions demonstrate the accuracy of the difference equation for evaluating the dispersion of nanomaterials based on solid UV curves, which is expected to be used extensively in evaluating the dispersion of nanocatalytic materials in energetic materials.

Stroke was always a disease that threatened human life and health worldwide. We reported the synthesis of a new type of hyaluronic acid-modified multi-walled carbon nanotube. Then, we produced hydroxysafflor yellow A-hydroxypropyl-ß-cyclodextrin phospholipid complex water-in-oil nanoemulsion with hyaluronic acid-modified multi-walled carbon nanotubes and chitosan (HC@HMC) for oral treatment of an ischemic stroke. We measured the intestinal absorption and pharmacokinetics of HC@HMC in rats. We found that the intestinal absorption and the pharmacokinetic behavior of HC@HMC was superior to that of HYA. We measured intracerebral concentrations after oral administration of HC@HMC and found that more HYA crossed the blood-brain barrier (BBB) in mice. Finally, we evaluated the efficacy of HC@HMC in middle cerebral artery occlusion/reperfusion (MCAO/R)-injured mice. In MCAO/R mice, oral administration of HC@HMC demonstrated significant protection against cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury (CIRI). Furthermore, we found HC@HMC may exert a protective effect on cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury through the COX2/PGD2/DPs pathway. These results suggest that oral administration of HC@HMC may be a potential therapeutic strategy for the treatment of stroke.

To explore the feasibility of applying magnetic stimulation technology to the movement control of animal robots, the influence of coil radius, number of turns and other factors on the intensity, depth and focus of magnetic stimulation was simulated and analyzed for robot pigeons. The coil design scheme was proposed. The coil was placed on the head and one of the legs of the pigeon, and the leg electromyography (EMG) was recorded when magnetic stimulation was performed. Results showed that the EMG was significantly strengthened during magnetic stimulation. With the reduction of the output frequency of the magnetic stimulation system, the output current was increased and the EMG was enhanced accordingly. Compared with the brain magnetic stimulation, sciatic nerve stimulation produced a more significant EMG enhancement response. This indicated that the magnetic stimulation system could effectively modulate the functions of brain and peripheral nerves by driving the coil. This study provides theoretical and experimental guidance for the subsequent optimization and improvement of practical coils, and lays a preliminary theoretical and experimental foundation for the implementation of magnetic stimulation motion control of animal robots.

BACKGROUND: Compared with visual angiographic assessment, pressure wire-based physiological measurement more accurately identifies flow-limiting lesions in patients with coronary artery disease. Nonetheless, angiography remains the most widely used method to guide percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). In FAVOR III China, we aimed to establish whether clinical outcomes might be improved by lesion selection for PCI using the quantitative flow ratio (QFR), a novel angiography-based approach to estimate the fractional flow reserve. METHODS: FAVOR III China is a multicentre, blinded, randomised, sham-controlled trial done at 26 hospitals in China. Patients aged 18 years or older, with stable or unstable angina pectoris or patients who had a myocardial infarction at least 72 h before screening, who had at least one lesion with a diameter stenosis of 50-90% in a coronary artery with a reference vessel of at least 2·5 mm diameter by visual assessment were eligible. Patients were randomly assigned to a QFR-guided strategy (PCI performed only if QFR ≤0·80) or an angiography-guided strategy (PCI based on standard visual angiographic assessment). Participants and clinical assessors were masked to treatment allocation. The primary endpoint was the 1-year rate of major adverse cardiac events, a composite of death from any cause, myocardial infarction, or ischaemia-driven revascularisation. The primary analysis was done in the intention-to-treat population. The trial was registered with ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT03656848). FINDINGS: Between Dec 25, 2018, and Jan 19, 2020, 3847 patients were enrolled. After exclusion of 22 patients who elected not to undergo PCI or who were withdrawn by their physicians, 3825 participants were included in the intention-to-treat population (1913 in the QFR-guided group and 1912 in the angiography-guided group). The mean age was 62·7 years (SD 10·1), 2699 (70·6%) were men and 1126 (29·4%) were women, 1295 (33·9%) had diabetes, and 2428 (63·5%) presented with an acute coronary syndrome. The 1-year primary endpoint occurred in 110 (Kaplan-Meier estimated rate 5·8%) participants in the QFR-guided group and in 167 (8·8%) participants in the angiography-guided group (difference, -3·0% [95% CI -4·7 to -1·4]; hazard ratio 0·65 [95% CI 0·51 to 0·83]; p=0·0004), driven by fewer myocardial infarctions and ischaemia-driven revascularisations in the QFR-guided group than in the angiography-guided group. INTERPRETATION: In FAVOR III China, among patients undergoing PCI, a QFR-guided strategy of lesion selection improved 1-year clinical outcomes compared with standard angiography guidance. BACKGROUND: Cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury (CIRI) has complex pathogenesis, and inhibiting apoptosis and supporting neural progenitor proliferation are extremely beneficial strategies for treating CIRI. Unc-51-like kinase 4 (ULK4), a susceptibility gene for schizophrenia, promotes neural progenitors proliferation. The phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K) pathway plays a critical role in CIRI via inhibition of apoptosis. Therefore, the relationship among ULK4, the PI3K pathway, and apoptosis in the context of CIRI has attracted our great interest. METHODS AND RESULTS: Primary cortical neurons were subjected to oxygen-glucose deprivation/reperfusion (OGD/R), and rats were subjected to middle cerebral artery occlusion/reperfusion (MCAO/R). Transfection of the ULK4-overexpression lentivirus was performed alone or in combination with PI3K inhibitor treatment. Here, we revealed that ULK4 was poorly expressed in the cortex in MCAO/R rats and OGD/R-treated primary cortical neurons, ULK4 overexpression inhibited apoptosis, and reduced neurological deficit scores, cerebral infarct volume, and histopathological damage. Moreover, ULK4 overexpression increased PI3K expression and the p-protein kinase B/AKT and p-glycogen synthase kinase 3 beta (GSK3ß)/GSK3ß ratios, and inhibited apoptosis, while a PI3K inhibitor reversed the effects of ULK4 overexpression on CIRI. CONCLUSIONS: ULK4 protects against CIRI, and the underlying mechanism involves PI3K pathway activation which in turn inhibits apoptosis.

BACKGROUND: Iodinated contrast medium exposure is associated with acute kidney injury (AKI). Patients with severe contrast-induced AKI (CI-AKI) may need renal replacement therapy (RRT). Prediction models exist for CI-AKI, but few need RRT. We aimed to establish a preprocedural score model to stratify patients at risk of unplanned postprocedural RRT following invasive coronary angiography (ICA) or percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). METHODS AND RESULTS: Between January 2010 and December 2015, a series of 3,469 patients were randomly divided into two cohorts at a 2 : 1 ratio for model development and validation, respectively. A total of 36 patients (1.0%) needed unplanned postprocedural RRT following ICA and/or PCI. Multivariable logistic regression was used to build the risk model. C-statistic and Hosmer-Lemeshow tests were used to evaluate the performance of the model. Five preprocedural variables - independently associated with unplanned postprocedural RRT - were identified as factors of the risk score model with different scores: age > 75 years (1), serum creatinine level ≥ 1.5 mg/dL (1), diabetes mellitus (1), hypotension (2), and acute myocardial infarction (2). The risk score model was demonstrated with high discrimination (C-statistic = 0.872) and goodness of fit (χ2 = 3.769, p = 0.438). Furthermore, the model allowed a hierarchical classification of low, intermediate, and high risk, within which the observed unplanned RRT rates were ~ 0.4, 3.0, and 20.0%, respectively. CONCLUSION: Using preprocedural variables, we developed and validated a risk model for unplanned postprocedural RRT following ICA and/or PCI.

The study of brain diseases has long been of interest to researchers worldwide, and stroke is the third leading cause of death that threatens human health. At the same time, cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury is closely associated with high rates of disability and mortality. The conditions of the 6-aminoquinolyl N-hydroxysccinimidyl carbamate method for the derivatization of amino acids in the bone marrow fluid and hippocampus of C57BL/6 mice with cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury were explored and optimized, such as the column temperature, concentration of derivatization reagents and mobile phase concentration. The mobile phase consisted of 20 mm sodium acetate solution (phosphoric acid to adjust pH 5.0) and 60% acetonitrile solution at a flow rate of 1 ml min-1 . The 23 analytes were separated and determined in a gradient elution procedure; the correlation coefficient r was >0.9990 in the range 0.1-8.0 µg ml-1 . The results showed that the content of relevant analytes was significantly changed in the cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury model, and the method was suitable for the simultaneous determination of 23 amino acids in the bone marrow fluid and hippocampus of C57BL/6 mice.

This study aimed to discuss the role of 12/15-lipoxygenase (12/15-LOX) regulation involved in diabetes cognitive dysfunction. First, Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) test was used to evaluate cognitive ability in diabetic patients and normal controls. The plasma test showed that the plasma level of 12/15-LOX in patients with MMSE scores below 27 was significantly increased compared with that of the normal group. Second, 12/15-LOX inhibitor was administered to diabetic rats. Behavioral tests, biochemistry, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays, and Western blotting were used in this study. We found that the levels of fasting and random blood glucose increased rapidly in diabetic rats, the levels of triglycerides and total cholesterol in the diabetic group increased, and insulin levels decreased significantly. In the Morris water maze test, the escape latency was prolonged, and the crossing times decreased in the diabetic group. Under the microscope, the apoptosis of hippocampal neurons in diabetic rats increased significantly. The levels of TNF-α, IL-6 and 12-hydroxyindoleic acid (12(S)-HETE) significantly increased, and the protein expression of 12/15-LOX, p38 MAPK, Aß1-42, caspase-3, caspase-9 and cPLA2 increased, while that of Bcl-2 decreased. However, the use of 12/15-LOX inhibitor reversed these results. Third, 12/15-LOX shRNA and p38MAPK inhibitor were administered to HT22 cells in high-glucose medium. The results of the cell experiment were consistent with those of the animal experiment. Our results indicated that the 12/15-LOX pathway participates in diabetic brain damage by activating p38MAPK to promote inflammation and neuronal apoptosis, and intervention 12/15-LOX can improve diabetic cognitive dysfunction.

A growing body of research suggests that inflammatory insult contributes to the etiology of central nervous system diseases, such as depression, Alzheimer's disease, and so forth. However, the effect of prenatal systemic inflammation exposure on offspring brain development and cerebral susceptibility to inflammatory insult remains unknown. In this study, we utilized the prenatal inflammatory insult model in vivo and the neuronal damage model in vitro. The results obtained show that prenatal maternal inflammation exacerbates LPS-induced memory impairment, neuronal necrosis, brain inflammatory response, and significantly increases protein expressions of COX-2, DP2, APP, and Aß, while obviously decreasing that of DP1 and the exploratory behaviors of offspring rats. Meloxicam significantly inhibited memory impairment, neuronal necrosis, oxidative stress, and inflammatory response, and down-regulated the expressions of APP, Aß, COX-2, and DP2, whereas significantly increased exploring behaviors and the expression of DP1 in vivo. Collectively, these findings suggested that maternal inflammation could cause offspring suffering from inflammatory and behavioral disorders and increase the susceptibility of offspring to cerebral pathological factors, accompanied by COX-2/PGD-2/DPs pathway activation, which could be ameliorated significantly by COX-2 inhibitor meloxicam treatment.

Mono-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (MEHP) is one of the main active metabolites of di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP). In our previous works, by using rat and Drosophila models, we showed a disruption of neural function due to DEHP. However, the exact neural effects of MEHP are still unclear. To explore the effects of MEHP on the central nervous system, the electrophysiological properties of spontaneous action potential (sAP), mini-excitatory postsynaptic currents (mEPSCs), ion channels, including Na+, Ca2+, and K+ channels from rat CA3 hippocampal neurons area were assessed. Our data showed that MEHP (at the concentrations of 100 or 300 µM) decreased the amplitude of sAP and the frequency of mEPSCs. Additionally, MEHP (100 or 300 µM) significantly reduced the peak current density of Ca2+ channels, whereas only the concentration of 300 µM decreased the peak current density of Na+ and K+ channels. Therefore, our results indicate that exposure to MEHP could affect the neuronal excitability and synaptic plasticity of rat CA3 hippocampal neurons by inhibiting ion channels' activity, implying the distinct role of MEHP in neural transmission.

Power supply plays a key role in ensuring animal robots to obtain effective stimulation. To extending the stimulating time, there is a need to apply photovoltaic cells and monitor their parameter variations, which can help operators to obtain the optimal stimulation strategy. In this paper, an online monitoring system of photovoltaic cells for animal robot stimulators was presented. It was composed of battery information sampling circuit, multi-channel neural signal generator, power module and human-computer interaction interface. When the signal generator was working, remote navigation control of animal robot could be achieved, and the battery voltage, current, temperature and electricity information was collected through the battery information sampling circuit and displayed on the human-computer interaction system in real time. If there was any abnormal status, alarm would be activated. The battery parameters were obtained by charging and discharging test. The battery life under different light intensity and the stimulation effect of neural signal generator were tested. Results showed that the sampling errors of battery voltage, current and electric quantity were less than 15 mV, 5 mA and 6 mAh, respectively. Compared with the system without photovoltaic cells, the battery life was extended by 148% at the light intensity of 78 320 lx, solving the battery life problem to some extent. When animal robot was stimulated with this system, left and right turns could be controlled to complete with the success rate more than 80%. It will help researchers to optimize animal robot control strategies through the parameters obtained in this system.

BACKGROUND: Inherited dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) contributes to approximately 25% of idiopathic DCM cases, and the proportion is even higher in familial DCM patients. Most studies have focused on familial DCM, whereas the genetic profile of sporadic DCM in Chinese patients remains unknown. METHODS: Between June 2018 and September 2019, 24 patients diagnosed with idiopathic DCM without a family history were included in the present study. All patients underwent genetic screening for 80 DCM-related genes using targeted next-generation sequencing. RESULTS: By in silico analysis, 10 of 99 detected variants were considered pathogenic or likely-pathogenic, including seven TTN truncating variants (TTNtv), one in-frame deletion in TNNT2, one missense mutation in RBM20, and one frameshift deletion variant in FLNC. Of these variants, eight are reported for the first time. CONCLUSIONS: Using targeted next-generation sequencing, potential genetic causes of idiopathic DCM were identified. Sarcomere mutations remained the most common genetic cause of inherited DCM in this cohort of sporadic Chinese DCM.

OBJECTIVES: This multicenter, prospective clinical study investigates whether the microelectromechanical-systems-(MEMS)-sensor pressure microcatheter (MEMS-PMC) is comparable to a conventional pressure wire in fractional flow reserve (FFR) measurement. BACKGROUND: As a conventional tool for FFR measurement, pressure wires (PWs) still have some limitations such as suboptimal handling characteristics and unable to maintain the wire position during pullback assessment. Recently, a MEMS-PMC compatible with any 0.014″ guidewire is developed. Compared with the existing optical-sensor PMC, this MEMS-PMC has smaller profiles at both the lesion crossing and sensor packaging areas. METHODS: Two hundred and forty-two patients with visually 30-70% coronary stenosis were enrolled at four centers. FFR was measured first with the MEMS-PMC, and then with the PW. The primary endpoint was the Bland-Altman mean bias between the MEMS-PMC and PW FFR. RESULTS: From the 224-patient per-protocol data, quantitative coronary angiography showed 17.9% and 55.9% vessels had diameter < 2.5 mm and stenosis >50%, respectively. The two systems' mean bias was -0.01 with [-0.08, 0.06] 95% limits-of-agreement. Using PW FFR≤0.80 as cutoff, the MEMS-PMC per-vessel diagnostic accuracy was 93.4% [95% confidence interval: 89.4-96.3%]. The MEMS-PMC's success rate was similar to that of PW (97.5 vs. 96.3%, p = .43) with no serious adverse event, and its clinically-significant (>0.03) drift rate was 43% less (9.5 vs. 16.7%, p = .014). CONCLUSIONS: Our study showed the MEMS-PMC is safe to use and has a minimal bias equal to the resolution of current FFR systems. Given the MEMS-PMC's high measurement accuracy and rapid-exchange nature, it may become an attractive new tool facilitating routine coronary physiology assessment.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the diagnostic performance of quantitative flow ratio (QFR) related to fractional flow reserve (FFR) and resting distal-to-aortic pressure ratio (resting Pd/Pa) concordance. BACKGROUND: QFR is a method for computation of FFR based on standard coronary angiography. It is unclear how QFR is performed in patients with discordance between FFR and resting pressure ratios (distal-to-aortic pressure ratio [Pd/Pa]). MATERIALS AND METHODS: The main comparison was the diagnostic performance of QFR with FFR as reference stratified by correspondence between FFR and resting Pd/Pa. Secondary outcome measures included distribution of clinical or procedural characteristics stratified by FFR and resting Pd/Pa correspondence. RESULTS: Four prospective studies matched the inclusion criteria. Analysis was performed on patient level data reaching a total of 759 patients and 887 vessels with paired FFR, QFR, and resting Pd/Pa. Median FFR was 0.85 (IQR: 0.77-0.90). Diagnostic accuracy of QFR with FFR as reference was higher if FFR corresponded to resting Pd/Pa: accuracy 90% (95% CI: 88-92) versus 72% (95% CI: 64-80), p < .001, and sAUC 0.95 (95% CI: 0.92-0.96) versus 0.73 (95% CI: 0.69-0.77), p < .001. Resting Pd/Pa and FFR discordance were related to age, sex, hypertension, and lesion severity. CONCLUSION: Diagnostic performance of QFR with FFR as reference is reduced for lesions with discordant FFR (≤0.80) and resting Pd/Pa (≤0.92) measurements.

In order to understand the relationship between laser initiation and charge transfer of metal tetrazine complexes (MTCs), several sets of MTCs with different metals and ligands were designed and their charge transfer (CT) characters were examined using a time-dependent density functional theory method (TD-DFT) in combination with UV-vis spectra, hole-electron distribution, interfragment charge transition, and transition density matrix analyses. Results show that Fe(II), Mn(II), and Cu(II) are suitable divalent transition metal cores in constructing the optical initiation tetrazine complexes. By replacing the divalent metal cores with a monovalent center, new sets of complexes are proved to possess metal-to-ligand charge transfer (MLCT) character and stronger absorption intensity in the near-infrared (NIR) region, which implies that monovalent MTCs are more in favor of low-energy laser initiation than divalent MTCs. Reasonable tuning of the structure of pyrazole substituent can expect to enhance the explosive performance while preserving the optical characteristics, which is an important design principle. This work thoroughly depicts the photoactive states for MTCs and gives a train of thought to explore new desirable laser initiation explosives.

Celastrol, a pentacyclic triterpene isolated from the traditional Chinese medicine Tripterygium wilfordii Hook. F., exhibits effectiveness in protection against multiple central nervous system (CNS) diseases such as cerebral ischemia, but its influence on lipidomics still remains unclear. Therefore, in the present study, the efficacy and potential mechanism of celastrol against cerebral ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury were investigated based on lipidomics. Middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) followed by reperfusion was operated in mice to set up a cerebral I/R model. TTC staining and TUNEL staining were used to evaluate the therapeutic effect of celastrol. Ultra-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC/MS) was employed for lipidomics analysis in ipsilateral hemisphere and plasma. Celastrol remarkably reduced cerebral infarct volume and apoptosis positive cells in tMCAO mice. Furthermore, lipidomics analysis showed that 14 common differentially expressed lipids (DELs) were identified in brain and five common DELs were identified in plasma between the Sham, tMCAO and Celastrol-treated tMCAO groups. Through enrichment analysis, sphingolipid metabolism and glycerophospholipid metabolism were demonstrated to be significantly enriched in all the comparison groups. Among the DELs, celastrol could reverse cerebral I/R injury-induced alteration of phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylethanolamine and sulfatide, which may be responsible for the neuroprotective effect of celastrol. Our findings suggested the neuroprotection of celastrol on cerebral I/R injury may be partially associated with its regulation of lipid metabolism.
