RESUMO

Computer tomography (CT) and ultrasonography (US) of 54 men at the age of 25-65 years was perfomed for definition of liver corners characters value in norm and in cases of fatty hepatosis. The data of US was compared with results of liver corners measurements and densitometric indices, which were obtained by MPR CT. It was determined, that values of liver corners and qualitative characteristic of liver left lobe edge were of no importance for fatty hepatosis diagnostic. On the contrary, semi-circumference curving of liver right lobe is helpful for definition of high degree liver steatosis and can be recommended for practical use in combination with other clinical data.

RESUMO

The article presents the estimations of capabilities of visualization of coronary arteria using 64-cut multispin computer tomography (MSCTCA) for the purpose of it's using for early detection of coronary atersclerosis. There were examined 50 patients (42 men and 8 women) in the age of 29-78 years old. There was realized an analyze of frequency of occurrence of coronary artersclerosis in dependence of age. By 8 patients data of MSCTCA and KAG were compared. A high frequency of coincidence of results of the researches (88%) was determined. Also were determined evidences for realizing both of these methods. Causes of potential faults of data interpretation were discovered. MSCTCA--a high-effective method of diagnostics of coronary artersclerosis and detection of character and value of stenotic damage of coronary arteria. Received data permit determine practicability of further realization of interventional radiology.

RESUMO

The content of prostaglandins of groups Fa and E has been determined radioimmunologically in the hemolymph, muscle tissue, nerves, ganglia and total preparation of the nervous system of the snail Helix pomatia. The highest prostaglandin content was found in the nervous ganglia, the lowest one - in the hemolymph and muscles. Concentration of prostaglandins E is by an order higher than that of prostaglandins Fa.

RESUMO

The paper considers the role of different procedures of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of a local recurrence of the disease in patients undergoing radical prostatectomy (RPE) for prostate cancer (PC). A study group comprised 12 patients who had developed a biochemical recurrence with no evidence of systemic progression of the disease in different periods after RPE. All the patients underwent multiphase MRI using T1-T2-weighted, diffusion-weighted, and postcontrast images. The MRI pattern of a cystourethral anastomotic area was analyzed from T2-weighted (T2-WI), diffusion-weighted (DWI), and postcontrast images (PCI) in all the patients. The local recurrence of PC was verified in them, using puncture biopsy under transrectal ultrasound guidance, by keeping in mind the MRI pattern. The use of DWI and postcontrast sequences was shown to substantially enhance the sensitivity of MRI in the diagnosis of local recurrences of PC as compared to an isolated analysis of T2WI (0.83, 0.67, and 0.42, respectively). Thus, in patients with a suspected local recurrence of PC after RPE, the visual estimate of DWI and PCI during small pelvic MRI makes it possible to considerably improve the recognition of a tumor nodule and to increase the efficiency of morphological verification of a recurrence of the disease.
