RESUMO
Spectrally stable pure-red perovskite quantum dots (QDs) with low lead content are essential for high-definition displays but are difficult to synthesize due to QD self-purification. Here, we make use of entropy-driven quantum-confined pure-red perovskite QDs to fabricate light-emitting diodes (LEDs) that have low toxicity and are efficient and spectrum-stable. Based on experimental data and first-principles calculations, multiple element alloying results in a 60% reduction in lead content while improving QD entropy to promote crystal stability. Entropy-driven QDs exhibit photoluminescence with 100% quantum yields and single-exponential decay lifetimes without alteration of their morphology or crystal structure. The pure-red LEDs utilizing entropy-driven QDs have spectrally stable electroluminescence, achieving a brightness of 4932 cd/m2, a maximum external quantum efficiency of over 20%, and a 15-fold longer operational lifetime than the CsPbI3 QD-based LEDs. These achievements demonstrate that entropy-driven QDs can mitigate local compositional heterogeneity and ion migration.

Comparison of the structural features and catalytic performance of bimetallic nanocatalysts will help to develop a unified understanding of structure-reaction relationships. The single-molecule fluorescence technique was utilized to reveal the differences in catalytic kinetics among PtRu bimetallic nanocatalysts and Pt and Ru monometallic nanocatalysts at the single particle level. The results show that bimetallic nanocatalysts have higher apparent rate constants and desorption rate constants relative to monometallic nanocatalysts, which leads to their higher catalytic activity. At the single particle level, bimetallic nanocatalysts have a wider distribution of apparent rate constants, suggesting that bimetallic nanocatalysts have higher activity heterogeneity relative to monometallic nanocatalysts. By investigating the relationship between the reaction rate and the rate of dynamic activity fluctuations, it was found that spontaneous surface restructuring and reaction-induced surface restructuring of nanoparticles occurred. The surface of bimetallic nanoparticles restructured faster, which made the bimetallic nanocatalysts more active. These findings provide new insights into the design of highly active bimetallic nanocatalysts.
RESUMO
OBJECTIVES: The value of adding radiotherapy (RT) is still unclear for patients with gastric cancer (GC) after D2 lymphadenectomy. The purpose of this study is to predict and compare the overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS) of GC patients treated by chemotherapy and chemoradiation based on contrast-enhanced CT (CECT) radiomics. METHODS: A total of 154 patients treated by chemotherapy and chemoradiation in authors' hospital were retrospectively reviewed and randomly divided into the training and testing cohorts (7:3). Radiomics features were extracted from contoured tumor volumes in CECT using the pyradiomics software. Radiomics score and nomogram with integrated clinical factors were developed to predict the OS and DFS and evaluated with Harrell's Consistency Index (C-index). RESULTS: Radiomics score achieved a C index of 0.721(95%CI: 0.681-0.761) and 0.774 (95%CI: 0.738-0.810) in the prediction of DFS and OS for GC patients treated by chemotherapy and chemoradiation, respectively. The benefits of additional RT only demonstrated in subgroup of GC patients with Lauren intestinal type and perineural invasion (PNI). Integrating clinical factors further improved the prediction ability of radiomics models with a C-index of 0.773 (95%CI: 0.736-0.810) and 0.802 (95%CI: 0.765-0.839) for DFS and OS, respectively. CONCLUSIONS: CECT based radiomics is feasible to predict the OS and DFS for GC patients underwent chemotherapy and chemoradiation after D2 resection. The benefits of additional RT only observed in GC patients with intestinal cancer and PNI.

Full understanding to the origin of the catalytic performance of a supported nanocatalyst from the points of view of both the active component and support is significant for the achievement of high performance. Herein, based on a model electrocatalyst of single-iridium-atom-doped iron (Fe)-based layered double hydroxides (LDH) for oxygen evolution reaction (OER), we reveal the first completed origin of the catalytic performance of such supported nanocatalysts. Specially, besides the activity enhancement of Ir sites by LDH support, the stability of surface Fe sites is enhanced by doped Ir sites: DFT calculation shows that the Ir sites can reduce the activity and enhance the stability of the nearby Fe sites; while further finite element simulations indicate, the stability enhancement of distant Fe sites could be attributed to the much low concentration of OER reactant (hydroxyl ions, OH- ) around them induced by the much fast consumption of OH- on highly active Ir sites. These new findings about the interaction between the main active components and supports are applicable in principle to other heterogeneous nanocatalysts and provide a completed understanding to the catalytic performance of heterogeneous nanocatalysts.
RESUMO
Achieving a highly efficient and durable methanol electro-oxidation catalyst in acid media is critical for the practical utilization of direct methanol fuel cells (DMFCs) at the commercial scale. Herein, we report a facile and effective one-pot strategy for the synthesis of carbon-supported PtCu alloy nanoparticles (PtCu NPs) with a Pt-rich surface, small particle size and uniform dispersion. The as-prepared PtCu NPs with the optimal alloy composition (Pt2Cu) exhibit a significantly improved electrochemical methanol oxidation reaction performance in terms of a high activity, superior CO tolerance and remarkable durability, in contrast to those of commercial Pt/C catalysts in acid media. Particularly, the Pt2Cu/C catalyst exerts a 4.5 times enhancement in the mass activity and a larger If/Ib value compared to those of commercial Pt/C (Pt/Ccomm). The enhanced catalytic activities can be ascribed to the high utilization of Pt and the high index facets of the surface. Also, the addition of Cu downshifts the d-band center of Pt and improves the CO tolerance during the methanol oxidation reaction process. This work provides an efficient strategy for designing desired Pt-based alloys for various catalytic reactions.
RESUMO
The potential of converting traditional biomass into low-cost HER catalysts has broad application prospects. In this paper, fungus is used as a carbon-based carrier. The bimetallic catalyst RuM-C (M = V, Mo, W, Zn, Cu) was synthesized under inert gas protection at high temperature. The order of electrocatalytic activity is RuV-C > RuZn-C > RuW-C > RuMo-C > Ru-C > RuCu-C > BF-C, which indicates that RuV-C exhibits excellent HER activity. Due to its irregular sheet structure, the specific surface area of the catalyst is increased. Impressively, it exhibits extremely high catalytic activity for HER in 1 M KOH due to favorable kinetics and excellent specific activity. Consequently, the prepared RuV-C exhibited excellent and stable HER activity compared Ru-C with a low overpotential of 65.78 mV at the current densities of 10 mA cm-2and Tafel slope of 45.26 mV dec-1. The potential only decreased by 88 mV after 24 h of continuous testing, which indicates that the catalyst has outstanding stability. This work will provide positive inspiration for the promotion of a new Ru-based biomass HER electrocatalyst.

PURPOSE: An accurate and reliable target volume delineation is critical for the safe and successful radiotherapy. The purpose of this study is to develop new 2D and 3D automatic segmentation models based on RefineNet for clinical target volume (CTV) and organs at risk (OARs) for postoperative cervical cancer based on computed tomography (CT) images. METHODS: A 2D RefineNet and 3D RefineNetPlus3D were adapted and built to automatically segment CTVs and OARs on a total of 44 222 CT slices of 313 patients with stage I-III cervical cancer. Fully convolutional networks (FCNs), U-Net, context encoder network (CE-Net), UNet3D, and ResUNet3D were also trained and tested with randomly divided training and validation sets, respectively. The performances of these automatic segmentation models were evaluated by Dice similarity coefficient (DSC), Jaccard similarity coefficient, and average symmetric surface distance when comparing them with manual segmentations with the test data. RESULTS: The DSC for RefineNet, FCN, U-Net, CE-Net, UNet3D, ResUNet3D, and RefineNet3D were 0.82, 0.80, 0.82, 0.81, 0.80, 0.81, and 0.82 with a mean contouring time of 3.2, 3.4, 8.2, 3.9, 9.8, 11.4, and 6.4 s, respectively. The generated RefineNetPlus3D demonstrated a good performance in the automatic segmentation of bladder, small intestine, rectum, right and left femoral heads with a DSC of 0.97, 0.95, 091, 0.98, and 0.98, respectively, with a mean computation time of 6.6 s. CONCLUSIONS: The newly adapted RefineNet and developed RefineNetPlus3D were promising automatic segmentation models with accurate and clinically acceptable CTV and OARs for cervical cancer patients in postoperative radiotherapy.

Transition metal (e.g. Ni) ions dissolved from layered-structured Ni-rich cathodes can migrate to the anode side and accelerate the failure of lithium-ion batteries. The investigations of the impact and distribution of Ni species on the solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) on the anode are crucial to understand the failure mechanism. Herein, we used time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectroscopy (TOF-SIMS) coupled with multivariate curve resolution (MCR) analysis to intuitively characterize the distribution of Ni species in the SEI. We find that the SEI on the graphite electrode using an EC-based electrolyte exhibits a multi-stratum structure. During accelerated aging of the LiNi0.88 Co0.08 Mn0.04 O2 /graphite full cell, the dissolution of Ni aggravates significantly upon cycling. A strong correlation between the dissolved-Ni and organic species in the SEI on graphite is illustrated. The ion-exchange reaction between Ni2+ and Li+ ions in the SEI is demonstrated to be the main reason for the increase of SEI resistivity.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Compound Chamomile and Lidocaine Hydrochloride Gel for postoperative hypospadias in children. METHODS: From January to December 2020, we treated 116 children with distal hypospadias in the Department of Urology, Department of Pediatrics and the Seventh Medical Center of the PLA General Hospital, 58 by primary Snodgrass urethroplasty only (the control group) and the other 58 with Compound Chamomile and Lidocaine Hydrochloride Gel smeared on the penis postoperatively in addition (the trial group). We compared the operation time and postoperative pain score, edema regression and incidence of infection between the two groups, followed by statistical analysis using T test and Chi-square test. RESULTS: All the operations were successfully completed by the same surgeon under general anesthesia. There were no statistically significant differences between the trial and control groups in age (ï¼»2.5 ± 0.8ï¼½ vs ï¼»2.4 ± 0.6ï¼½ yr, P > 0.05) or operation time (ï¼»95.6 ± 14.5ï¼½ vs ï¼»97.1 ± 15.2ï¼½ min, P > 0.05). No incision infection occurred in any of the cases. The pain scores at dressing removal were remarkably lower in the trial than in the control group at 2 hours (1.4 ± 1.0 vs 2.6 ± 1.3, P < 0.05), 24 hours (2.2 ± 1.3 vs 3.9 ± 1.6, P < 0.05), 48 hours (1.2 ± 0.7 vs 1.6 ± 0.9, P < 0.05) and 72 hours after surgery (2.5 ± 0.8 vs 3.7 ± 1.8, P < 0.05). Significantly more cases of edema regression were achieved in the trial than in the control group at 2 weeks postoperatively (35 vs 19, P < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS: Compound Chamomile and Lidocaine Hydrochloride Gel can effectively relieve pain, reduce edema and accelerate edema regression after surgery in children with hypospadias, and therefore deserves wide clinical application.ã.

Multi-isocenter volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) is recommended for craniospinal irradiation (CSI) to smooth the dose distribution in the junction regions relying solely on inverse optimization. However, few studies have measured the dosimetric impact of setup errors on this multi-isocenter VMAT in the junction areas. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of positional errors during VMAT CSI with two-dimension (2D) and three-dimension (3D) dosimetric measurements. A total of 20 patients treated by three-isocenter VMAT CSI were retrospectively reviewed and analyzed. A 3D diode array ArcCHECK and radiochromic film EBT3 were applied to measure the percentage gamma passing rates (%GPs) and dose distributions in the junction areas between the cranial/upper-spinal and the upper/lower-spinal fields with intentionally introduced setup errors of ± 1 mm, ±2 mm, ±3 mm, ±5 mm, and ± 8 mm, respectively. The length and volume of planning target volume (PTV) for these CSI patients ranged from 50.14 to 80.8 cm, and 1572.3 to 2114.5 cm3 , respectively. The %GPs for ±3 mm, ±5 mm, and ±8 mm positional errors were around 95%, 90%, and 85%, respectively, in the junction areas. The dosimetric verification results with EBT3 films indicated that cold and hot areas were observed with the increase of introduced setup errors. In conclusion, the dosimetric verification with intentionally introduced setup errors demonstrated that positional errors within 3 mm have a little impact for VMAT CSI, although setup errors should be minimized. Relying on the inverse optimization of VMAT to smooth the dose distribution in the junction areas is feasible for CSI.

Independent treatment planning system (TPS) check with Mobius3D software, log files based quality assurance (QA) with MobiusFX, and phantom measurement-based QA with ArcCHECK were performed and cross verified for head-and-neck (17 patients), chest (16 patients), and abdominal (19 patients) cancer patients who underwent volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT). Dosimetric differences and percentage gamma passing rates (%GPs) were evaluated and compared for this cross verification. For the dosimetric differences in planning target volume (PTV) coverage, there was no significant difference among TPS vs. Mobius3D, TPS vs. MobiusFX, and TPS vs. ArcCHECK. For the dosimetric differences in organs at risks (OARs), the number of metrics with an average dosimetric differences higher than ±3% for TPS vs Mobius3D, TPS vs MobiusFX, and TPS vs ArcCHECK were 1, 1, 7; 2, 1, 4; 1, 1, 5 for the patients with head-and-neck, abdomen, and chest cancer, respectively. The %GPs of global gamma indices for Mobius3D and MobiousFX were above 97%, while it ranged from 92% to 96% for ArcCHECK. The %GPs of individual volume-based gamma indices were around 98% for Mobius3D and MobiousFX, except for γPTV for chest and abdominal cancer (88.9% to 92%); while it ranged from 86% to 99% for ArcCHECK. In conclusion, some differences in dosimetric metrics and gamma passing rates were observed with ArcCHECK measurement-based QA in comparison with independent dosecheck and log files based QA. Care must be taken when considering replacing phantom measurement-based IMRT/VMAT QA.

PURPOSE: To investigate the treatment response prediction feasibility and accuracy of an integrated model combining computed tomography (CT) radiomic features and dosimetric parameters for patients with esophageal cancer (EC) who underwent concurrent chemoradiation (CRT) using machine learning. METHODS: The radiomic features and dosimetric parameters of 94 EC patients were extracted and modeled using Support Vector Classification (SVM) and Extreme Gradient Boosting algorithm (XGBoost). The 94-sample dataset was randomly divided into a 70-sample training subset and a 24-sample independent test set while keeping the class proportions intact via stratification. A receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to assess the performance of models using radiomic features alone and using combined radiomic features and dosimetric parameters. RESULTS: A total of 42 radiomic features and 18 dosimetric parameters plus the patients' characteristic parameters were extracted for these 94 cases (58 responders and 36 non-responders). XGBoost plus principal component analysis (PCA) achieved an accuracy and area under the curve of 0.708 and 0.541, respectively, for models with radiomic features combined with dosimetric parameters, and 0.689 and 0.479, respectively, for radiomic features alone. Image features of GlobalMean X.333.1, Coarseness, Skewness, and GlobalStd contributed most to the model. The dosimetric parameters of gross tumor volume (GTV) homogeneity index (HI), Cord Dmax, Prescription dose, Heart-Dmean, and Heart-V50 also had a strong contribution to the model. CONCLUSIONS: The model with radiomic features combined with dosimetric parameters is promising and outperforms that with radiomic features alone in predicting the treatment response of patients with EC who underwent CRT. KEY POINTS: ⢠The model with radiomic features combined with dosimetric parameters is promising in predicting the treatment response of patients with EC who underwent CRT. ⢠The model with radiomic features combined with dosimetric parameters (prediction accuracy of 0.708 and AUC of 0.689) outperforms that with radiomic features alone (best prediction accuracy of 0.625 and AUC of 0.412). ⢠The image features of GlobalMean X.333.1, Coarseness, Skewness, and GlobalStd contributed most to the treatment response prediction model. The dosimetric parameters of GTV HI, Cord Dmax, Prescription dose, Heart-Dmean, and Heart-V50 also had a strong contribution to the model.

Exploration of economical electrocatalysts for highly efficient and stable oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) is believed to be essential for diverse future renewable energy applications. Herein, cobalt sulfide nanowire core encapsulated in a N, S codoped graphitic carbon shell (CoS NWs@NSC) is successfully fabricated via the calcination of polydopamine-coated Co(CO3 )0.5 (OH)0.11 H2 O NWs with sulfur powder under argon atmosphere. The uniform encapsulation of CoS core by N, S codoped graphitic carbon shell favors the interaction of the core-shell structure for generating stable and numerous ORR active sites homogeneously dispersed throughout the materials. Meanwhile, the wire-like CoS NWs@NSC stacks to form 3D mesoporous conductive networks, which improves the mass and charge transport capability of catalyst. Accordingly, the resultant CoS NWs@NSC electrocatalysts possess excellent ORR activity through the four-electron pathway with superior stability and methanol tolerance over the Pt/C in 0.1 m KOH. This strategy can offer inspiration for designing and fabricating novel core-shell-structured nanomaterials with active sites derived from uniform morphology as potential electrocatalysts for various vital renewable energy devices.
RESUMO
Long non-coding RNA MEG3 has been identified as a tumor suppressor which plays important roles in tumorigenesis; however, its potential role in breast cancer has not been fully examined. Here, we showed that MEG3 was downregulated in breast cancer tissues and cell lines. Overexpression of MEG3 inhibited breast cancer cell proliferation and invasion, suggesting that MEG3 played an important role in breast cancer progression and metastasis. Moreover, MEG3 upregulation caused marked inhibition of angiogenesis-related factor expression. Conditioned medium derived from MEG3 overexpressed breast cancer cells significantly decreased the capillary tube formation of endothelial cells. Furthermore, elevated expression of MEG3 in breast cancer inhibits in vivo tumorigenesis and angiogenesis in a nude mouse xenograft model. Mechanistically, overexpression of MEG3 results in downregulation of AKT signaling, which is pivotal for breast cancer cell growth, invasion, and tumor angiogenesis. Collectively, these results suggest that MEG3 might suppress the tumor growth and angiogenesis via AKT signaling pathway and MEG3 may serve as a potential novel diagnostic and therapeutic target of breast cancer.

Although gamma analysis is still a widely accepted quantitative tool to analyze and report patient-specific QA for intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) and volumetric-modulated arc therapy (VMAT), the correlation between the 2D percentage gamma passing rate (%GP), and the clinical dosimetric difference for IMRT and VMAT has been questioned. The purpose of this study was to investigate the feasibility of individual volume-based 3D gamma indices for pretreatment VMAT QA. Percentage dosimetric errors (%DE) of dose-volume histogram metrics (includes target volumes and organ at risks) between the treatment planning system and QA-reconstructed dose distribution, %GPs for individual volume and global gamma indices, as well their correlations and sensitivities were investigated for one- and two-arc VMAT plans. The %GPs of individual volumes had a higher percent of correlation with individual 15 %DE metrics compared with global %GPs. For two-arc VMAT at 2%/2 mm, 3%/3 mm, and 4%/4 mm criteria, individual volume %GPs were correlated with 9, 12, and 9 out of 15 %DE metrics, while global %GPs were correlated with only 2 out of 15 %DE metrics, respectively. For one-arc VMAT at 2%/2 mm, 3%/3 mm, and 4%/4 mm criteria, individual volume %GPs were correlated with 18, 16, and 13 out of 23 %DE metrics, and global %GPs were correlated with 19, 12, and 1 out 23 %DE metrics, respectively. The area under curves (AUC) of individual volume %GPs were higher than those of global %GPs for two-arc VMAT plans, but with mixed results for one-arc VMAT plans. In a conclusion, the idea of individual volume %GP was created and investigated to better serve for VMAT QA and individual volume-based %GP had a higher percent of correlation with DVH 15 %DE metrics compared with global %GP for both one- and two-arc VMAT plans.

As the advantage of using complex volumetric-modulated arc therapy (VMAT) in the treatment of gynecologic cancer has not yet been fully determined, the purpose of this study was to investigate the dosimetric advantages of VMAT by comparing directly with whole pelvic conformal radiotherapy (CRT) and intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) in the treatment of 15 postoperative cervical cancer patients. Four-field CRT, seven-field IMRT, and two-arc VMAT plans were generated for each patient with identical objective functions to achieve clinically acceptable dose distribution. Target coverage and OAR sparing differences were investigated through dose-volume histogram (DVH) analysis. Nondosimtric differences between IMRT and VMAT were also compared. Target coverage presented by V95% were 88.9% ± 3.8%, 99.9% ± 0.07%, and 99.9% ± 0.1% for CRT, IMRT, and VMAT, respectively. Significant differences on conformal index (CI) and conformal number (CN) were observed with CIs of 0.37 ± 0.07, 0.55 ± 0.04, 0.61 ± 0.04, and CNs of 0.33 ± 0.06, 0.55 ± 0.04, 0.60 ± 0.04 for CRT, IMRT, and VMAT, respectively. IMRT and VMAT decreased the dose to bladder and rectum significantly compared with CRT. No significant differences on the Dmean, V45, and V30 of small bowel were observed among CRT, IMRT, and VMAT. However, VMAT (10.4 ± 4.8 vs. 19.8 ± 11.0, P = 0.004) and IMRT (12.3 ± 5.0 vs. 19.8 ± 11.0, P = 0.02) decreased V40, increased the Dmax of small bowel and the irradiation dose to femoral heads compared with CRT. VMAT irradiated less dose to bladder, rectum, small bowel and larger volume of health tissue with a lower dose (V5 and V10) compared with IMRT, although the differences were not statistical significant. In conclusion, VMAT and IMRT showed significant dosimetric advantages both on target coverage and OAR sparing compared with CRT in the treatment of postoperative cervical cancer. However, no significant difference between IMRT and VMAT was observed except for slightly better dose conformity, slightly less MU, and significant shorter delivery time achieved for VMAT.

The present paper reports on the preparation of novel bamboo leaf shaped CuO nanorod dispersed hollow carbon fibers (denoted as CuO NR@PCFs). Specially, the new-type hollow carbon fibers (containing abundant micro/meso/macropores and a large specific surface area) were prepared only by simple and fast pyrolysis of the natural product catkins without using any template or surfactant. Meanwhile, a facile method was used to prepare the bamboo leaf shaped CuO nanorod covered PCFs. Thanks to the abundant micro/meso/macropores, large specific surface area, and excellent electrical conduction efficiency of the PCF matrix, the as-prepared CuO NR@PCFs could also afford more catalytic sites, show more excellent reactant transport efficiency, and display more excellent electron transport rates compared with those for the pure CuO balls. Above all, these advantages will result in the excellent oxidation and detection efficiency of the CuO NR@PCF sample to glucose. Electrochemical measurements reveal that the CuO NR@PCF modified electrode can directly catalyze glucose oxidation and display an enhanced current response compared with the pure CuO balls (such as a response time within 4 s, wide linear ranges of 5 × 10(-3)-0.8 mM and 0.8-8.5 mM, good reproducibility, considerable stability, and excellent anti-interference to electroactive molecules and Cl(-)). The superior catalytic activity and selectivity make the CuO NR@PCF catalyst very promising for application in direct detection of glucose.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the dosimetric differences among conformal radiotherapy (CRT), intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), and volumetric-modulated radiotherapy (VMAT) in the treatment of middle thoracic esophageal cancer, and determine the most appropriate treatment modality. IMRT and one-arc VMAT plans were generated for eight middle thoracic esophageal cancer patients treated previous with CRT. The planning target volume (PTV) coverage and protections on organs at risk of three planning schemes were compared. All plans have sufficient PTV coverage and no significant differences were observed, except for the conformity and homogeneity. The lung V5, V10, and V13 in CRT were 47.9% ± 6.1%, 36.5% ± 4.6%, and 33.2% ± 4.2%, respectively, which were greatly increased to 78.2% ± 13.7% (p < 0.01), 80.8% ± 14.9% (p < 0.01), 48.4% ± 8.2% (p = 0.05) in IMRT and 58.6% ± 10.5% (p = 0.03), 67.7% ± 14.0% (p < 0.01), and 53.0% ± 10.1% (p < 0.01) in VMAT, respectively. The lung V20 (p = 0.03) in VMAT and the V30 (p = 0.04) in IMRT were lower than those in CRT. Both IMRT and VMAT achieved a better protection on heart. However, the volumes of the healthy tissue outside of PTV irradiated by a low dose were higher for IMRT and VMAT. IMRT and VMAT also had a higher MU, optimization time, and delivery time compared to CRT. In conclusion, all CRT, IMRT, and VMAT plans are able to meet the prescription and there is no clear distinction on PTV coverage. IMRT and VMAT can only decrease the volume of lung and heart receiving a high dose, but at a cost of delivering low dose to more volume of lung and normal tissues. CRT is still a feasible option for middle thoracic esophageal cancer radiotherapy, especially for the cost-effective consideration.

Purpose: To evaluate functional outcomes of robot-assisted ureteroplasty with labial mucosa grafting for long proximal ureteral stenosis (LPUS) in children and adolescents. Methods: Included in this study were 15 patients who underwent robot-assisted ureteroplasty with labial mucosal grafting in our center between July 2017 and September 2021. The left affected stenotic ureter was repaired using labial mucosal grafting. If the ureter was simply strictured but not obliterated, the ureter was spatulated longitudinally along the ventral side and the labial mucosa graft was interposed and anastomosed in a continuous manner. Faced with the obliterated segment, it was excised and the spatulated portion re-anastomosed with a pelvic flap as the dorsal wall. The labial mucosa graft was placed as the ventral wall. The preoperative clinical data and follow-up outcomes were collected and evaluated. Results: Labial mucosa graft onlay ureteroplasty was well performed in all the 15 patients with no occurrence of intraoperative complications or surgical conversion. Five patients underwent an onlay ureteroplasty, and 10 patients underwent a dorsally augmented pelvic flap anastomotic ureteroplasty. The mean (range) stricture length was 7.1 (3-10) cm. The mean operative time was 371.2 (216-480) minutes, and the median blood loss was 40 mL. At the median follow-up of 35 months (range 12-58 months), the overall success rate was 93.3%. Conclusions: Labial mucosa grafting appears to be safe and feasible for repairing long ureteral strictures in pediatric and adolescent patients. Our experience may provide beneficial references and conveniences to solve complex problems in LPUS. The low ionic conductivities of aprotic electrolytes hinder the development of extreme fast charging technologies and applications at low temperatures for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). Herein, we present an electrolyte with LiFSI in acetone (DMK). In DMK electrolytes, the solvation number is three, and solvent-separated ion pairs (SSIPs) are the dominant structure, which is largely different from other linear aprotic electrolytes where salts primarily exist as contact ion pairs (CIPs). With incompact solvation structures due to the weak solvation ability of DMK with Li+, the ionic conductivity reaches 45 mS/cm at room temperature. The percentage of SSIPs increases as temperatures decrease in DMK electrolytes, which is totally different from the carbonate-based electrolytes but greatly beneficial to low-temperature ionic conductivity. With the appropriate addition of VC and FEC, DMK-based electrolytes still exhibit a superhigh ionic conductivity. Even at -40 °C, the ionic conductivity is greater than 10 mS/cm. With DMK-based electrolytes, LIBs with thick LiFePO4 electrodes can be cycled at high rates and at low temperatures.
