RESUMO

Actinidia ('Mihoutao' in Chinese) includes species with complex ploidy, among which diploid Actinidia chinensis and hexaploid Actinidia deliciosa are economically and nutritionally important fruit crops. Actinidia deliciosa has been proposed to be an autohexaploid (2n = 174) with diploid A. chinensis (2n = 58) as the putative parent. A CCS-based assembly anchored to a high-resolution linkage map provided a chromosome-resolved genome for hexaploid A. deliciosa yielded a 3.91-Gb assembly of 174 pseudochromosomes comprising 29 homologous groups with 6 members each, which contain 39 854 genes with an average of 4.57 alleles per gene. Here we provide evidence that much of the hexaploid genome matches diploid A. chinensis; 95.5% of homologous gene pairs exhibited >90% similarity. However, intragenome and intergenome comparisons of synteny indicate chromosomal changes. Our data, therefore, indicate that if A. deliciosa is an autoploid, chromosomal rearrangement occurred following autohexaploidy. A highly diversified pattern of gene expression and a history of rapid population expansion after polyploidisation likely facilitated the adaptation and niche differentiation of A. deliciosa in nature. The allele-defined hexaploid genome of A. deliciosa provides new genomic resources to accelerate crop improvement and to understand polyploid genome evolution.

RESUMO

Implantation is a milestone event during mammalian embryogenesis. Implantation failure is a considerable cause of early pregnancy loss in humans1. Owing to the difficulty of obtaining human embryos early after implantation in vivo, it remains unclear how the gene regulatory network and epigenetic mechanisms control the implantation process. Here, by combining an in vitro culture system for the development human embryos after implantation and single-cell multi-omics sequencing technologies, more than 8,000 individual cells from 65 human peri-implantation embryos were systematically analysed. Unsupervised dimensionality reduction and clustering algorithms of the transcriptome data show stepwise implantation routes for the epiblast, primitive endoderm and trophectoderm lineages, suggesting robust preparation for the proper establishment of a mother-to-offspring connection during implantation. Female embryos showed initiation of random X chromosome inactivation based on analysis of parental allele-specific expression of X-chromosome-linked genes during implantation. Notably, using single-cell triple omics sequencing analysis, the re-methylation of the genome in cells from the primitive endoderm lineage was shown to be much slower than in cells of both epiblast and trophectoderm lineages during the implantation process, which indicates that there are distinct re-establishment features in the DNA methylome of the epiblast and primitive endoderm-even though both lineages are derived from the inner cell mass. Collectively, our work provides insights into the complex molecular mechanisms that regulate the implantation of human embryos, and helps to advance future efforts to understanding early embryonic development and reproductive medicine.

RESUMO

As a vital constituent of water's optical properties, the absorption coefficients influence the distribution of underwater light field, consequently impacting the structures and functional patterns of riverine ecosystems. In this study, the light absorption of non-algal particulates (ad(λ), m-1), phytoplankton (aph(λ), m-1) and CDOM (ag(λ), m-1) of 380 water samples collected from 133 rivers in eight external river basins across China from 2013 to 2023 were examined to determine the optical absorption characteristics. Results showed significant differences in ad(λ), aph(λ) and ag(λ) across different basins. ① The water bodies of eight basins can be categorized into 5 dominant types of absorption coefficients. ② In eastern China, ag(440) exhibited a northeast-high and southwest-low spatial distribution pattern. The Songliao River Basin had the highest ag(440) than other basins. The higher slope S of ag(λ) in rivers compared to lakes and reservoirs confirm river water primarily derive CDOM from external sources, distinguishing them from lakes and reservoirs. ③ The Huaihe and Haihe River Basins had higher ad(440) and aph(440) values, primarily due to lower terrain and human activities, leading to the accumulation of suspended particles and nutrients. And soil erosion from the Loess Plateau caused significant differences in ad(440) between the upper and middle reaches of the Yellow River Basin. These findings hold significant implications for understanding the optical characteristics of rivers in China.

RESUMO

Understanding the global patterns of human and wildlife spatial associations is essential for pragmatic conservation implementation, yet analytical foundations and indicator-based assessments that would further this understanding are lacking. We integrated the global distributions of 30,664 terrestrial vertebrates and human pressures to map human-nature index (HNI) categories that indicate the extent and intensity of human-wildlife interactions. Along the 2 dimensions of biodiversity and human activity, the HNI allowed placement of terrestrial areas worldwide in one of 4 HNI categories: anthropic (human-dominated areas), wildlife-dominated (little human influence and rich in wildlife), co-occurring (substantial presence of humans and wildlife), and harsh-environment (limited presence of humans and wildlife) areas. The HNI varied considerably among taxonomic groups, and the leading driver of HNI was global climate patterns. Co-occurring regions were the most prevalent (35.9%), and wildlife-dominated and anthropic regions encompassed 26.45% and 6.50% of land area, respectively. Our results highlight the necessity for customizing conservation strategies to regions based on human-wildlife spatial associations and the distribution of existing protected area networks. Human activity and biodiversity should be integrated for complementary strategies to support conservation toward ambitious and pragmatic 30×30 goals.

OBJECTIVES: Seroma represents the most prevalent postoperative complication following laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair, particularly in the case of large inguinoscrotal hernias. This randomized controlled trial was undertaken with the objective of assessing the effects of internal orifice narrowing achieved by suturing the divided distal hernia sac in laparoscopic repair of indirect inguinoscrotal hernias. METHODS: A total of 58 patients aged 18 years or older, were randomized into two groups: Group I, which underwent internal orifice narrowing, and Group II, which served as the control without narrowing. The study's primary endpoint was the incidence and volume of seroma in the inguinal region on postoperative days 1 and 7, as well as at 1, 3, and 6 months following the procedure. Secondary outcomes encompassed metrics like total operative time, acute and chronic pain levels, duration of hospital stay, recurrence rates, and the occurrence of any additional complications. RESULTS: In comparison to the control group, the experimental group exhibited a significantly lower incidence of seroma formation at 7 days (P = 0.001). Furthermore, the ultrasonic assessment indicated a reduced seroma volume in the operative group on postoperative day 7 (8.84 ± 17.71 vs. 52.39 ± 70.78 mL; P < 0.001). Acute pain levels and hospital stay were similar between the two groups (1.22 ± 0.76 vs. 1.04 ± 0.53, P = 0.073; 1.22 ± 0.07 vs. 1.19 ± 0.08, P = 0.627, respectively). Notably, neither chronic pain nor early recurrence, nor any other postoperative complications were observed in either group throughout the follow-up period, which extended for at least 6 months (range: 6-18 months). CONCLUSION: In the context of laparoscopic inguinoscrotal hernia repair, the incidence and volume of seroma can be significantly reduced through the implementation of internal orifice narrowing achieved by suturing the divided distal hernia sac. And, this reduction in seroma formation was not associated elevation in postoperative pain levels or recurrence rates.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: The study aimed to investigate the association between nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and ischemic stroke events after revascularization in patients with Moyamoya disease (MMD). METHODS: This study prospectively enrolled 275 MMD patients from September 2020 to December 2021. Patients with alcoholism and other liver diseases were excluded. NAFLD was confirmed by CT imaging or abdominal ultrasonography. Stroke events and modified Rankin Scale (mRS) scores at the latest follow-up were compared between the two groups. RESULTS: A total of 275 patients were enrolled in the study, among which 65 were diagnosed with NAFLD. Univariate logistic regression analysis showed that NAFLD (P = 0.029) was related to stroke events. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that NAFLD is a predictor of postoperative stroke in MMD patients (OR = 27.145, 95% CI = 2.031-362.81, P = 0.013). Kaplan-Meier analysis showed that compared with MMD patients with NAFLD, patients in the control group had a longer stroke-free time (P = 0.004). Univariate Cox analysis showed that NAFLD (P = 0.016) was associated with ischemic stroke during follow-up in patients with MMD. Multivariate Cox analysis showed that NAFLD was an independent risk factor for stroke in patients with MMD (HR = 10.815, 95% CI = 1.259-92.881, P = 0.030). Furthermore, fewer patients in the NAFLD group had good neurologic status (mRS score ≤ 2) than the control group (P = 0.005). CONCLUSION: NAFLD was an independent risk factor for stroke in patients with MMD after revascularization and worse neurological function outcomes.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Fertilization failure often occurs in conventional IVF cycles, and day 1 rescue ICSI is frequently recommended. In this study, the effect of rescue ICSI on obstetrical and neonatal outcomes after a single blastocyst transfer in vitrified-warmed cycles is evaluated. METHODS: This cohort study was a retrospective analysis of 703 vitrified-warmed single blastocyst transfers and 219 singletons in the r-ICSI group compared with 11,611 vitrified-warmed single blastocyst transfers in the IVF/ICSI and 4472 singletons in the IVF/ICSI group, respectively, and patients just undergoing their first IVF treatments were included in this study. Pregnancy rate (PR), live birth rate (LBR), and singleton birthweight were the primary outcome measures. Multiple linear regression analysis and logistic regression analysis were performed to evaluate the possible relationship between obstetrical and neonatal outcomes and fertilization method (including IVF, ICSI, and r-ICSI) after adjusting for other potential confounding factors. RESULTS: PR and the LBR were lower in the r-ICSI group compared with the IVF/ ICSI group. Singletons from the r-ICSI group had a higher Z-score and the proportion of large for gestational age (LGA) newborns was greater compared with singletons from the IVF/ICSI group. CONCLUSION: The results of the study indicated that a 31% LBR after r-ICSI is acceptable for vitrified-warmed blastocyst transfer, but the safety of transfer is a concern because of the lower PR and LBR compared with IVF/ICSI. The safety of r-ICSI newborns is also a concern because of the significantly higher birthweight and the proportion of LGA in r-ICSI group newborns compared with the IVF/ICSI group.

RESUMO

Seagrass, a submerged flowering plant, is widely distributed in coastal shallow waters and plays a significant role in maintaining marine biodiversity and carbon cycles. However, the seagrass ecosystem is currently facing degradation, necessitating effective monitoring. Satellite remote sensing observations offer distinct advantages in spatial coverage and temporal frequency. In this study, we focused on a marine lagoon (Swan Lake), located in the Shandong Peninsula of China which is characterized by a large and typical seagrass population. We conducted an analysis of remote sensing reflectance of seagrass and other objectives using a comprehensive Landsat satellite dataset spanning from 2002 to 2022. Subsequently, we constructed Seagrass Index I (SSI-I) and Seagrass Index II (SSI-II), and used them to develop a stepwise model for seagrass detection from Landsat images. Validation was performed using in situ acoustic survey data and visual interpretation, revealing the good performance of our model with an overall accuracy exceeding 0.90 and a kappa coefficient around 0.80. The long-term analysis (2002-2022) of the seagrass distribution area in Swan Lake, generated from Landsat data using our model, indicated that the central area of Swan Lake sustains seagrass for the longest duration. Seagrass in Swan Lake exhibits a regular seasonal variation, including seeding in early spring, growth in spring-summer, maturation in the middle of summer, and shrinkage in autumn. Furthermore, we observed an overall decreasing trend in the seagrass area over the past 20 years, while occasional periods of seagrass restoration were also observed. These findings provide crucial information for seagrass protection, marine blue carbon studies, and related endeavors in Swan Lake. Moreover, our study offers a valuable alternative approach that can be implemented for seagrass monitoring using satellite observations in other coastal regions.

RESUMO

Development of inorganic proton conductors that are applicable in a wide temperature range is crucial for applications such as fuel cells. Most of the reported proton conductors suffer from limited proton conductivity, especially at low temperature. In addition, the mechanism of proton conduction in the conductors is not fully understood, which limits the rational design of advanced proton conductors. In this work, we report the use of metal oxide solid acid as a promising proton conductor. WO3/ZrO2 (WZ) with different surface acidities is synthesized by controlling the content of WO3 on the surface of ZrO2. It is demonstrated that proton conductivity of WZ samples is closely related with their acidity. WZ with the strongest acidity exhibits the highest proton conduction performance at low temperatures, with a proton conductivity of 3.27 × 10-5 S cm-1 at 14 °C. The excellent performance of the WZ-type proton conductor is clarified with theoretical calculations. The results show that the enhanced water adsorption and the lowered activation barrier for breakage of the O-H bond in surface-adsorbed water are the key to the excellent proton-conductive performance of WZ. The experimental results and mechanistic insights gained in this work suggest that WZ is a promising proton conductor, and tailoring the surface acidity of metal oxides is an effective approach to regulate their proton-conductive performance.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: This multi-center study aimed to identify factors affecting fever and delayed defervescence in bacterial meningitis (BM) patients under 3 years of age because of the variability of fever in this patient population. METHODS: Only BM patients under 3 years treated at 49 centers in China from November 2018 to end-April 2021 were included in the study. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were performed to determine factors associated with afebrile presentation and fever of delayed defervescence. RESULTS: A total of 863 BM patients under 3 years were included in the study. Coagulase negative staphylococcus was associated with afebrile presentation (OR = 1.176), while septicaemia and ear-nose-throat infections were associated with fever (P < 0.05). The patients with fever were assigned into early and delayed defervescence groups based on defervescence time (less than and more than or equal to one week). Furthermore, Streptococcus agalactiae meningitis (OR = 1.124), concomitant gastrointestinal infection (OR = 1.276), encephalomalacia (or = 1.339), and subdural effusion (OR = 1.454) were independently associated with delayed defervescence (all P < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS: The findings can aid in the efficient utilization of fever in auxiliary diagnosis and evaluating the condition of the disease.

RESUMO

The present study determined the characteristics of perineal hernia treatment in the literature, and the incidence of postoperative recurrence was stratified according to repair techniques. A systematic search of the available literature on the treatment of postoperative perineal hernias was performed using a major database. The types of repair techniques and outcome were entered into an electronic database and a pooled analysis was performed. A total of 213 cases of postoperative perineal hernia repair were collected from 20 relevant articles in the literature after excluding case reports (n < 3). Synthetic mesh was the material used most frequently for perineal hernia repair (55.9%). The most frequently used approach in perineal hernia repair was the perineal approach (56.5%). The recurrence rate was highest with the use of biological mesh (40.4%) and the perineal approach (35.6%). The recurrence rate was lowest in the combined abdominal & perineal approach (0%), followed by the abdominal approach (8.8%) and the laparoscopic approach (11.8%). A number of different repair techniques have been described in the literature. The use of synthetic mesh via a combined abdominal-perineal approach or intraabdominal/laparoscopic approach was shown to be associated with a reduced postoperative recurrence rate.

RESUMO

In the context of the growing human demand for green secondary energy sources, proton-exchange membrane water electrolysis (PEMWE) is necessary to meet the high-efficiency production of high-purity hydrogen required for proton-exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs). The development of stable, efficient, and low-cost oxygen evolution reaction (OER) catalysts is key to promoting the large-scale application of hydrogen production by PEMWE. At present, precious metals remain irreplaceable in acidic OER catalysis, and loading the support body with precious metal components is undoubtedly an effective strategy to reduce costs. In this review, we will discuss the unique role of common catalyst-support interactions such as Metal-Support Interactions (MSIs), Strong Metal-Support Interactions (SMSIs), Strong Oxide-Support Interactions (SOSIs), and Electron-Metal-Support Interactions (EMSIs) in modulating catalyst structure and performance, thereby promoting the development of high-performance, high-stability, low-cost noble metal-based acidic OER catalysts.

RESUMO

Potassium metal batteries (KMBs) are ideal choices for high energy density storage system owing to the low electrochemical potential and low cost of K. However, the practical KMB applications suffer from intrinsically active K anode, which would bring serious safety concerns due to easier generation of dendrites. Herein, to explore a facile approach to tackle this issue, we propose to regulate K plating/stripping via interfacial chemistry engineering of commercial polyolefin-based separator using multiple functional units integrated in tailored metal organic framework. As a case study, the functional units of MIL-101(Cr) offer high elastic modulus, facilitate the dissociation of potassium salt, improve the K+ transfer number and homogenize the K+ flux at the electrode/electrolyte interface. Benefiting from these favorable features, uniform and stable K plating/stripping is realized with the regulated separator. Full battery assembled with the regulated separator showed ∼19.9 % higher discharge capacity than that with glass fiber separator at 20 mA g-1 and much better cycling stability at high rates. The generality of our approach is validated with KMBs using different cathodes and electrolytes. We envision that the strategy to suppress dendrite formation by commercial separator surface engineering using tailor-designed functional units can be extended to other metal/metal ion batteries.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: The pathogenic mechanisms of periventricular anastomosis (PA) in moyamoya disease remain unknown. Here, we aimed to describe the angiographic profiles of PA and their relationships with really interesting new gene (RING) finger protein 213 (RNF213) genotypes. METHODS: We conducted a retrospective cohort study of moyamoya disease patients consecutively recruited between June 2019 and January 2021 in Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Capital Medical University, China. C-terminal region of RNF213 was sequenced. Angiographic characteristics of PA vessels (lenticulostriate artery, thalamotuberal artery, thalamoperforating artery, anterior choroidal artery, and posterior choroidal artery) were compared between different groups of RNF213 genotypes. The dilatation and extension of PA vessels were measured by using PA score (positive, score 1-5; negative, score 0). Multivariate regression analysis was conducted to assess variables associated with PA score. In addition, gene expression of RNF213 in human brain regions was evaluated from the Allen Human Brain Atlas. RESULTS: Among 260 patients (484 hemispheres), 71.2% carried no RNF213 rare and novel variants, 20.0% carried p.R4810K heterozygotes, and 8.8% carried other rare and novel variants. PA scores in patients with p.R4810K and other rare and novel variants were significantly higher than in wild-type patients (P<0.001). Age (odds ratio [OR], 0.958 [95% CI, 0.942-0.974]; P<0.001), platelet count (OR, 0.996 [95% CI, 0.992-0.999]; P=0.027), p.R4810K variant (OR, 2.653 [95% CI, 1.514-4.649]; P=0.001), other rare and novel variants (OR, 3.197 [95% CI, 1.012-10.094]; P=0.048), Suzuki stage ≥4 (OR, 1.941 [95% CI, 1.138-3.309]; P=0.015), and posterior cerebral artery involvement (OR, 1.827 [95% CI, 1.020-3.271]; P=0.043) were significantly correlated with PA score. High expression of RNF213 was detected in the periventricular area. CONCLUSIONS: RNF213 variants were confirmed to be associated with PA in moyamoya disease. Individuals with RNF213 p.R4810K heterozygotes and other C-terminal region rare variants exhibited different angiographic phenotypes, compared with wild-type patients.

RESUMO

Suspended particulate matter (SPM) affects the optical properties of water, which can be used as a marker of water quality. The water quality of Lake Taihu has changed immensely since the 1980's. However, despite the link between water quality and SPM, long-term systematic studies on SPM have not been conducted in this lake. Here, we used Landsat-5 TM and Landsat-8 OLI data to model changes in the SPM concentration of Lake Taihu from 1984 to 2020. Various models were generated, calibrated, and finally validated using in situ SPM, remote sensing reflectance (Rrs) data, and synchronous satellite data. After comparing various commonly used models, it was found that the exponential model based on band combination [Rrs(red) + Rrs(NIR)/Rrs(green)] had the highest accuracy, with an average unbiased relative error greater than 35%. Subsequently, the SPM products of Lake Taihu during 1984-2020 were generated. Overall, the SPM concentration showed a downward trend over the study period, which might be primarily attributable to a decline in wind speed. These findings may assist in the conservation of Lake Taihu and its associated water resources.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: Glioma was the most common type of intracranial malignant tumor. Even after standard treatment, the recurrence and malignant progression of lower-grade gliomas (LGGs) were almost inevitable. The overall survival (OS) of patients with LGG varied widely, making it critical for prognostic prediction. Small G Protein Signaling Modulator 1 (SGSM1) has hardly been studied in gliomas. Therefore, we aimed to investigate the prognostic role of SGSM1 and its relationship with immune infiltration in LGGs. METHODS: We obtained RNA sequencing data from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) to analyze SGSM1 expression. Functional enrichment analyses, immune infiltration analyses, immune checkpoint analyses, and clinicopathology analyses were performed. Univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses were used to identify independent prognostic factors. And nomogram model has been developed. Kaplan-Meier survival analysis and log-rank test were used to estimate the relationship between OS and SGSM1 expression. The survival analyses and Cox regression were validated in datasets from the Chinese Glioma Genome Atlas (CGGA). RESULTS: SGSM1 was significantly down-regulated in LGGs. Functional enrichment analyses revealed SGSM1 was correlated with immune response. Most immune cells and immune checkpoints were negatively correlated with SGSM1 expression. The Kaplan-Meier analyses showed that low SGSM1 expression was associated with a poor outcome in LGG and its subtypes. The Cox regression showed SGSM1 was an independent prognostic factor in patients with LGG (HR = 0.494, 95%CI = 0.311-0.784, P = 0.003). CONCLUSION: SGSM1 was considered to be a new prognostic biomarker for patients with LGG. And our study provided a potential therapeutic target for LGG treatment.

RESUMO

RESEARCH QUESTION: Can inner cell mass (ICM) and trophectoderm morphological grading, especially ICM and trophectoderm graded C, affect perinatal outcomes? DESIGN: A retrospective review of medical records of 8946 singletons delivered from vitrified-warmed single blastocyst transfer cycles between January 2009 and December 2020. RESULTS: Inner cell mass graded C had a higher adjusted birth weight than ICM graded A (0.61 ± 1.06 versus 0.48 ± 1.06; P = 0.025). Large for gestational age (LGA) increased with decreasing ICM morphological grading (18.96%, 21.88% and 23.38%; grade B versus grade A, P = 0.013; grade C versus grade A, P = 0.036) (P < 0.025 was considered statistically significant for multiple pairwise comparisons). Linear regression analysis suggested that ICM morphological grading was significantly associated with adjusted birth weight, with grade C increasing adjusted birth weight compared with grade A (ß 0.13, 95% CI 0.00 to 0.25, P = 0.043) (P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant for linear regression). Logistic regression analysis suggested that ICM morphological grading was significantly associated with LGA, with grade C increasing LGA compared with grade A (adjusted OR 1.37, 95% CI 1.03 to 1.81). Moreover, blastocysts with ICM graded C had a higher chance of being a male infant compared with ICM graded A (adjusted OR 1.32, 95% CI 1.04 to 1.68). CONCLUSIONS: Inner cell mass morphological grading was significantly associated with adjusted birth weight and LGA. Poor ICM graded C increased birth weight and LGA.

RESUMO

Previous assessments of the effectiveness of protected areas (PAs) focused primarily on changes in human pressure over time and did not consider the different human-pressure baselines of PAs, thereby potentially over- or underestimating PA effectiveness. We developed a framework that considers both human-pressure baseline and change in human pressure over time and assessed the effectiveness of 338 PAs in China from 2010 to 2020. The initial state of human pressure on PAs was taken as the baseline, and changes in human pressure index (HPI) were further analyzed under different baselines. We used the random forest models to identify the management measures that most improved effectiveness in resisting human pressure for the PAs with different baselines. Finally, the relationships between the changes in the HPI and the changes in natural ecosystems in PAs were analyzed with different baselines. Of PAs with low HPI baselines, medium HPI baselines, and high HPI baselines, 76.92% (n=150), 11.11% (n=12), and 22.86% (n=8) , respectively, showed positive effects in resisting human pressure. Overall, ignoring human-pressure baselines somewhat underestimated the positive effects of PAs, especially for those with low initial human pressure. For PAs with different initial human pressures, different management measures should be taken to improve effectiveness and reduce threats to natural ecosystems. We believe our framework is useful for assessing the effectiveness of PAs globally, and we recommend it be included in the Convention on Biological Diversity Post-2020 Strategy.

PURPOSE: To evaluate optimal warming time, the early warming or the routine warming time, for transferring vitrified-warmed and cultured overnight cleavage stage of the slow-growing embryos on day 3 in frozen embryo transfer (FET) cycle. METHODS: This was a retrospective cohort study from January 2017 to July 2018. A total of 705 FET patients aged < 40 years were included and 1486 embryos were formed, of which 1366 embryos were eventually transferred. RESULTS: For slow-growing embryos, the clinical pregnancy rate of early warming group [152/468 (32.5%)] was significantly higher than that of routine warming group (55/235 (23.4%)) [OR 1.39 (CI 1.06-1.81), p = 0.01], while there was no statistically significant difference in pregnancy loss in early warming group [39/170 (22.9%)] versus in routine warming group [16/62 (25.8%)] [OR 0.89 (CI 0.53-1.47), p = 0.65]. CONCLUSION: For slow-growing embryos, higher pregnancy outcomes were shown in early warming strategy as compared to the routine warming, which suggested that the improvement of endometrium-embryo synchronism may correct the time difference brought by the slow-growing embryos.
