The title compound, C25H19N, adopts an E conformation about the C=N bond. The naphthalene ring system and the phenyl rings form dihedral angles 38.1â
(1), 46.9â
(8) and 48.5â
(1)°, respectively, with the mean plane of the central enimino fragment. The crystal packing exhibits no directional close contacts.
