Creating patient-centered value in radiology reporting requires radiologists to provide accurate diagnostic interpretations in an accessible format with useful advice on further imaging, as well as report-embedded reference materials desired by the referring provider. The value- and service-centered radiologist provides urgent communications when appropriate and is readily available for report consultations.
