الملخص

Objective To study the potential distribution area of a new species of Coptis huanjiangensis in China;To provide a basis for the rational development of new species resources protection policy,promoting the stable development of Coptidis Rhizoma species diversity and regional division of exploitation and utilization.Methods The distribution points of Coptis chinensis and Coptis chinensis var.brevisepala were identified and screened through resource census and online database.Based on the hypothesis of"the relatives in the same domain may have similar habitability characteristics",the maximum entropy model was used to obtain the distribution probability≥0.5 of Coptis chinensis and Coptis chinensis var.brevisepala respectively.ArcGIS software was used to obtain the areas with similar ecological environment characteristics to the sampling points of Coptis huanjiangensis.The spatial superposition was carried out with the distribution probability≥0.5 of Coptis chinensis and Coptis chinensis var.brevisepala.Results The potential distribution regions of Coptis chinensis and Coptis chinensis var.brevisepala with distribution probability≥0.5 were respectively normalized and then spatially superimposed,including the central of Sichuan Province,Hunan Province,Jiangxi Province,Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,Fujian Province,Zhejiang Province,and the south of Anhui Province.Influenced by precipitation,temperature,sunshine duration,soil composition,topography,vegetation types and cold index,the potential distribution area of Coptis huanjiangensis was primarily located in the northern part of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and a small portion of southeastern Guizhou Province.After normalization and binarization treatment,the 25 continuous variables of Coptis huanjiangensis were overlaid with the distribution probability≥0.5 of the related species Coptis chinensis and Coptis chinensis var.brevisepala after respectively normalization treatment,primarily lied along the border between Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Guizhou Province.Conclusion The potential distribution area of Coptis huanjiangensis is located at the border of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Guizhou Province,which can provide references for the study of Coptids Rhizoma species diversity.

@#AIM: To evaluate the clinical application of resorbable implants in orbital fracture repair surgery.<p>METHODS: A retrospective analysis of 48 eyes in 48 cases of orbital fracture, all patients were treated with resorbable implants for orbital fracture repair. During operations we exposed fully fracture defect range and returned the tissues that entered the paranasal sinus. A resorbable implant was trimmed to proper sizes according to the fracture defect range and fixed with 2 absorbable screws. The accuracy of plate positioning of the reconstructed orbit and the practicability of clinical use of resorbable implant were judged by the ophthalmic examination and computed tomography(CT)scan before and after operation. <p>RESULTS: All the patients completed the operation successfully and had no serious complications during or after surgery. All the patients had a good anatomical restoration by the postoperative CT scan. One year re-examination after operation, among 18 eyes with limitation of extraocular muscle movement(EOM)before operation 1 eye(6%)with limitation of EOM improved after surgery,17 eyes(94%)with limitation of EOM got cured. Among 30 cases with diplopia before operation 12 cases(40%)with diplopia improved after surgery, 18 cases(60%)with diplopia got cured. Among 32 eyes with enophthalmos before operation 10 eyes(31%)with enophthalmos improved after surgery, 22 eyes(69%)with enophthalmos get cured. Among 40 eyes with suborbital skin numbness before operation 33 eyes(82%)with suborbital skin numbness improved after surgery, 7 eyes(18%)with suborbital skin numbness got cured. Only one eye got lower eyelid entropion after surgery and was resolved by the second correction of entropion.<p>CONCLUSION: The resorbable implant can repair the fractures of orbital wall well. It is a better material of orbital fracture repairment.

A taxonomic study of species of the genus Gomphonema Ehrenberg (Bacillariophyceae) was performed in alotic environment (Ipoitã Channel) of the Upper Paraná River Floodplain. Samplings were performed in June, September and December 2013 and February 2014. Two petioles of Eichhornia azurea (Sw) Kunth were sampled at three different sites in the channel. Twelve species and two taxonomic varieties were identified. All species identified were recorded at the sampling site 3, loca ated close to the Ivinhema River. The lowest number of taxa occurred at the sampling site 1 (9 specific and infra specific taxa), in the confluence with the Paraná River. All taxa of Gomphonema were the first record for the Upper Paraná River Floodplain. Our results emphasize the lack of taxonomic studies for the region and the importance thereof to the knowledge of biodiversity.


Realizou- se o estudo taxonômico das espécies do gênero Gomphonema Ehrenberg (Bacillariophyceae) em um ambiente lótico (canal Ipoitã) da planície de inundação do alto rio Paraná. As coletas foram realizadas em junho, setembro e dezembro de 2013 e fevereiro de 2014. Dois pecíolos de Eichhornia azurea (Sw) Kunth foram amostrados em três pontos distintos do canal. Foram identificadas 12 espécies e duas variedades taxonômicas, sendo que todas foram registradas no ponto 3, situado próximo ao rio Ivinhema. O menor número de táxons ocorreu no ponto 1 (9 táxons específicos e infra específicos), na área de junção com o rio Paraná. Todos os táxons do gênero Gomphonema são primeiro registro para a planície de Inundação do Alto Rio Paraná. Os resultados ressaltam a carência de trabalhos taxonômicos para a região e a importância destes para o conhecimento da biodiversidade.

الملخص

Swertia mussotii is a kind of rare medicinal materials, the relevant researches are mainly concentrated on its medicinal efficacy and medicinal value till now, researches of adaptive distribution by applying remote sensing and GIS are relatively less. This study is to analyze the adaptive distribution of S.mussotii in Sichuan province by applying remote sensing and GIS technology, and provide scientific basis for the protection and development of wild resources, artificial cultivation and adjustment of Chinese medicine industrial distribution in Sichuan province. Based on literature review and ecological factors such as altitude, annual precipitation and annual average temperature, this study extracted ecological factors, overlay analysis in GIS, as well as combining GPS field validation data by means of remote sensing and GIS, discusses the adaptive distribution of SMF sin Sichuan province. ①The area of adaptive distribution of S. mussotii in Sichuan province is 1 543.749 km², mainly in Dege county, Ganzi county, Daofu county, Kangding county, Barkam, Jinchuan county, Xiaojin county, Danba county, Daocheng county, Xiangcheng county, Xinlong county, Aba county, Muli county and other counties and cities, accounts for about 7.25% in total area. ② Combining statistical information and field validation, this study found that S. mussotii adaptive distribution gained by remote sensing and GIS is in conformity with its actual distribution. The study shows that remote sensing and GIS technology are feasible to obtain the S. mussotii adaptive distribution, they can further be applied to studies on adaptive distributions of other rare Chinese medicinal herb.
