ABSTRACT
For patients with abnormal thyroid function,the detection of peripheral blood coagulation indicators may be irregular,and there is a potential risk of thrombosis or bleeding.Patients with hyperthyroidism have significant endothelial dysfunction and risk of thrombosis.However,the reports on the effect of hypothyroidism on coagulation function are still controversial.The potential risk of abnormal thyroid function to the coagulation system may interfere with the safety of anticoagulant therapy,and the interaction between thyroid disease treatment drugs and anticoagulant drugs also affects the safety of the patient's medication.Therefore,this article is based on previous research literature,analyzes the correlation between abnormal thyroid function and coagulation function,and evaluates and discusses the impact of abnormal thyroid function on the coagulation system and related therapeutic drug interactions.It is expected to provide a reference for diagnosing and treating patients with thyroid dysfunction and abnormal coagulation function.

Early life stress in humans can affect the normal development of individual neural networks, ultimately leading to diseases such as anxiety, depression, and autism in such children. The maternal separation model is commonly used to study the effects of early adverse experiences in human infants. Studies have shown that maternal separation in mice can lead to anxiety, depression, and impairments in spatial learning and memory in young mice during adulthood. However, enriched environmental interventions have been found to ameliorate the negative outcomes of early life stress by exerting a range of beneficial effects. This article provides an overview of the positive effects of enriched environmental interventions on mice in the maternal separation model.

ObjectiveTo explore the possible mechanisms of Shoutai Wan (寿胎丸) in treating recurrent miscarriage (RSA) from the perspective of immune tolerance under the acidic microenvironment at the maternal-fetal interface. MethodsFemale CBA/J mice were randomly divided into normal group, model group, progesterone group, and Shoutai Wan group, with 15 mice in each group. The mice in the normal group and model group were given 0.2 ml distilled water by gavage each day, the Shoutai Wan group given Shoutai Wan decoction 0.15 g/(10 g·d) by gavage, the progesterone group given progesterone tablets 0.44 mg/(10 g·d) by gavage. After gavage for 14 days, the mice were cohabited. Female CBA/J mice in the normal group were mated with male BALB/c mice at a ratio of 2∶1, and female CBA/J mice in the other groups were mated with male DBA/2 mice at a ratio of 2∶1 to establish the RSA mouse model. Vaginal smears were taken from the female mice the next morning, and the appearance of a large number of spermatozoa and the presence of a vaginal plug were considered as the first day of pregnancy. After the appearance of the plug, the mice were continued to be administered according to the previous method until the 10th day of pregnancy. On the 10th day of pregnancy, maternal-fetal interface tissues were collected from each group of mice, and lactate dehydrogenase colorimetric method was used to detect lactate (LA) content; qPCR method and Western blot method were used to detect the expression of immune-related factors interleukin-4 (IL-4), interferon-gamma (IFN-γ), transforming growth factor beta 1 (TGF-β1), and forkhead box protein 3 (Foxp3) mRNA and protein; flow cytometry was used to detect the numbers of helper T lymphocyte 1 (Th1), helper T lymphocyte 2 (Th2), regulatory T cell (Treg), classical macrophage (M1), and alternative macrophage (M2). The bivariate Pearson test was used to analyze the correlation between LA content and the numbers of Th1, Th2, Treg, M1, and M2 cells, as well as the correlation between LA content and the expression of IL-4, IFN-γ, TGF-β1, Foxp3 protein, and mRNA. ResultsOn the 10th day of pregnancy, compared with the normal group, the LA content decreased in the model group, and the expression of IL-4, TGF-β1, Foxp3 protein and mRNA in the maternal-fetal interface tissues decreased, while the expression of IFN-γ protein and mRNA increased. The numbers of Th1 and M1 cells increased, while the numbers of Th2, Treg, and M2 cells decreased (P<0.05 or P<0.01). Compared with the model group, the LA content increased in the Shoutai Wan group and progesterone group. The expression of IL-4, TGF-β1, Foxp3 protein and mRNA in the maternal-fetal interface tissues increased, while the expression of IFN-γ protein and mRNA decreased. The numbers of Th1 and M1 cells decreased, while the numbers of Th2, Treg, and M2 cells increased (P<0.05 or P<0.01). The LA content was positively correlated with the numbers of Th2, Treg, and M2 cells, and the expression of IL-4, TGF-β1, Foxp3 protein, and mRNA (P<0.05 or P<0.01); the LA content was negatively correlated with the numbers of Th1, M1 cells, and the expression of IFN-γ protein and mRNA (P<0.05 or P<0.01). ConclusionShoutai Wan may improve immune tolerance by regulating the expression of immune-related factors in the acidic microenvironment at the maternal-fetal interface of RSA model mice, thereby exerting its role in preventing miscarriage.

“Burnt needle” and “red-hot needling” are both mentioned in the Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor (《黄帝内经》), although they possess distinct characteristics and are not identical. Subsequent generations have erroneously employed them as interchangeable with “fire needles”, which is an incorrect designation. This article mostly relies on the original text of the Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor and provides an interpretation of their significances as follows: “burnt needle” is a broad phrase referring to needles that have been intentionally burned in order to heat them; the term “burnt needle and rapid needling” can be more accurately described as “the act of rapidly puncturing with a needle, without burning the needle if the disease exhibits hot characteristics, but requiring burning if the disease exhibits cold characteristics, and it is appropriate to puncture rapidly before burning the needle”. “Red-hot needling” refers to the process of first burning the needle and then puncturing with it, which is specific. This paper clarified the origins and differences among burnt needles, red-hot needling, red-hot needle, burning needle, warm needles and fire needle, pointing out the doctrinal diagnostic and therapeutic system based on “burnt Needle” and “red-hot needling”, can be a track for the integration of acupuncture and moxibustion.

Influenza virus causes serious threat to human life and health. Due to the inherent high variability of influenza virus, clinically resistant mutant strains of currently approved anti-influenza virus drugs have emerged. Therefore, it is urgent to develop antiviral drugs with new targets or mechanisms of action. RNA-dependent RNA polymerase is directly responsible for viral RNA transcription and replication, and plays key roles in the viral life cycle, which is considered an important target of anti-influenza drug design. From the point of view of medicinal chemistry, this review summarizes current advances in diverse small-molecule inhibitors targeting influenza virus RNA-dependent RNA polymerase, hoping to provide valuable reference for development of novel antiviral drugs.

OBJECTIVE@#To observe the effects of auricular thumbtack needle on breast feeding and lactation function in primiparous women with cesarean section, and to explore its mechanism of action from the perspective of lactation-related gene expression.@*METHODS@#One hundred cases of primiparous women with cesarean section were randomly divided into an observation group (50 cases, 3 cases dropped off) and a control group (50 cases, 2 cases were eliminated). The patients in the control group were treated with routine obstetric care. Based on the treatment of the control group, the patients in the observation group were treated with auricular thumbtack needle at Neifenmi (CO18), Xiong (AH10), Xiongzhui (AH11), Shenmen (TF4), and Jiaogan (AH6a), etc., with one side of auricular point selected, only once for a total of 3 d. The lactation initiation time, lactation adequacy rate at postpartum 72 h, exclusive breastfeeding rate at postpartum 42 d, and breastfeeding score after treatment were compared between the two groups. Real-time quantitative PCR and Western blot method were used to detect the mRNA and protein expression levels of TDP-43, Btn1A1 and XDH.@*RESULTS@#After treatment, the lactation initiation time in the observation group was earlier than that in the control group (P<0.01), and breastfeeding score in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.01). The lactation adequacy rate at postpartum 72 h was 63.8% (30/47) in the observation group, which was higher than 41.7% (20/48) in the control group (P<0.05). The exclusive breastfeeding rate at postpartum 42 d was 72.3% (34/47) in the observation group, which was higher than 47.9% (23/48) in the control group (P<0.05). The mRNA and protein expression levels of TDP-43 and Btn1A1 in breast milk in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.01), while there was no statistically significant difference in mRNA and protein expression of XDH in breast milk between the two groups (P>0.05).@*CONCLUSION@#The auricular thumbtack needle in addition to routine care could promote lactation initiation, improve lactation adequacy rate and exclusive breastfeeding rate in primiparous women with cesarean section, and the action mechanism may be related to up-regulation of TDP-43 and Btn1A1 expression.

Synthetic plastics have been widely used in various fields of the national economy and are the pillar industry. However, irregular production, plastic product use, and plastic waste piling have caused long-term accumulation in the environment, contributing considerably to the global solid waste stream and environmental plastic pollution, which has become a global problem to be solved. Biodegradation has recently emerged as a viable disposal method for a circular plastic economy and has become a thriving research area. In recent years, important breakthroughs have been made in the screening, isolation, and identification of plastic-degrading microorganisms/enzyme resources and their further engineering, which provide new ideas and solutions for treating microplastics in the environment and the closed-loop bio-recycling of waste plastics. On the other hand, the use of microorganisms (pure cultures or consortia) to further transform different plastic degradants into biodegradable plastics and other compounds with high added value is of great significance, promoting the development of a plastic recycling economy and reducing the carbon emission of plastics in their life cycle. We edited a Special Issue on the topic of "Biotechnology of Plastic Waste Degradation and Valorization", focusing on the researches progress in three aspects: Mining microbial and enzyme resources for plastic biodegradation, Design and engineering of plastic depolymerase, and biological high-value transformation of plastic degradants. In total, 16 papers have been collected in this issue including reviews, comments, and research articles, which provide reference and guidance for further development of plastic waste degradation and valorization biotechnology.

The pollution caused by improper handling of plastics has become a global challenge. In addition to recycling plastics and using biodegradable plastics, an alternative solution is to seek efficient methods for degrading plastics. Among them, the methods of using biodegradable enzymes or microorganisms to treat plastics have attracted increasing attention because of its advantages of mild conditions and no secondary environmental pollution. Developing highly efficient depolymerizing microorganisms/enzymes is the core for plastics biodegradation. However, the current analysis and detection methods cannot meet the requirements for screening efficient plastics biodegraders. It is thus of great significance to develop rapid and accurate analysis methods for screening biodegraders and evaluating biodegradation efficiency. This review summarizes the recent application of various commonly used analytical techniques in plastics biodegradation, including high performance liquid chromatography, infrared spectroscopy, gel permeation chromatography, and determination of zone of clearance, with fluorescence analysis techniques highlighted. This review may facilitate standardizing the characterization and analysis of plastics biodegradation process and developing more efficient methods for screening plastics biodegraders.

With the escalation of plastic bans and restrictions, bio-based plastics, represented by polylactic acid (PLA), have become a major alternative to traditional plastics in the current market and are unanimously regarded as having potential for development. However, there are still several misconceptions about bio-based plastics, whose complete degradation requires specific composting conditions. Bio-based plastics might be slow to degrade when it is released into the natural environment. They might also be harmful to humans, biodiversity and ecosystem function as traditional petroleum-based plastics do. In recent years, with the increasing production capacity and market size of PLA plastics in China, there is an urgent need to investigate and further strengthen the management of the life cycle of PLA and other bio-based plastics. In particular, the in-situ biodegradability and recycling of hard-to-recycle bio-based plastics in the ecological environment should be focused. This review introduces the characteristics, synthesis and commercialization of PLA plastics, summarizes the current research progress of microbial and enzymatic degradation of PLA plastics, and discusses their biodegradation mechanisms. Moreover, two bio-disposal methods against PLA plastic waste, including microbial in-situ treatment and enzymatic closed-loop recycling, are proposed. At last, the prospects and trends for the development of PLA plastics are presented.

Methanol has become an attractive substrate for the biomanufacturing industry due to its abundant supply and low cost. The biotransformation of methanol to value-added chemicals using microbial cell factories has the advantages of green process, mild conditions and diversified products. These advantages may expand the product chain based on methanol and alleviate the current problem of biomanufacturing, which is competing with people for food. Elucidating the pathways involving methanol oxidation, formaldehyde assimilation and dissimilation in different natural methylotrophs is essential for subsequent genetic engineering modification, and is more conducive to the construction of novel non-natural methylotrophs. This review discusses the current status of research on methanol metabolic pathways in methylotrophs, and presents recent advances and challenges in natural and synthetic methylotrophs and their applications in methanol bioconversion.

Multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) has become one of the major challenges in the global tuberculosis (TB) control.Despite years of efforts on MDR-TB control,the treatment success rates in China have increased slowly,which indicates possible deficiencies in the management of prevention and control work.Therefore,it is necessary to analyze the current status of MDR-TB prevention and treatment based on the patient pathway.This review summarizes the current drop-out situation of MDR-TB patients in the diagnosis and treatment pathway and the factors affecting patients' outcomes in the whole pathway,so as to provide a scientific reference for the prevention and control of MDR-TB.

Objective: Compare and analyze the results of the domestic Lanyi AH600 glycated hemoglobin analyzer and other different detection systems to understand the comparability of the detection results of different detectors, and establish the best cut point of Lanyi AH600 determination of haemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) in the diagnosis of diabetes. Methods: Multi center cohort study was adopted. The clinical laboratory departments of 18 medical institutions independently collected test samples from their respective hospitals from March to April 2022, and independently completed comparative analysis of the evaluated instrument (Lanyi AH600) and the reference instrument HbA1c. The reference instruments include four different brands of glycosylated hemoglobin meters, including Arkray, Bio-Rad, DOSOH, and Huizhong. Scatter plot was used to calculate the correlation between the results of different detection systems, and the regression equation was calculated. The consistency analysis between the results of different detection systems was evaluated by Bland Altman method. Consistency judgment principles: (1) When the 95% limits of agreement (95% LoA) of the measurement difference was within 0.4% HbA1c and the measurement score was≥80 points, the comparison consistency was good; (2) When the measurement difference of 95% LoA exceeded 0.4% HbA1c, and the measurement score was≥80 points, the comparison consistency was relatively good; (3) The measurement score was less than 80 points, the comparison consistency was poor. The difference between the results of different detection systems was tested by paired sample T test or Wilcoxon paired sign rank sum test; The best cut-off point of diabetes was analyzed by receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC). Results: The correlation coefficient R2 of results between Lanyi AH600 and the reference instrument in 16 hospitals is≥0.99; The Bland Altman consistency analysis showed that the difference of 95% LoA in Nanjing Maternity and Child Health Care Hospital in Jiangsu Province (reference instrument: Arkray HA8180) was -0.486%-0.325%, and the measurement score was 94.6 points (473/500); The difference of 95% LoA in the Tibetan Traditional Medical Hospital of TAR (reference instrument: Bio-Rad Variant II) was -0.727%-0.612%, and the measurement score was 89.8 points; The difference of 95% LoA in the People's Hospital of Chongqing Liang Jiang New Area (reference instrument: Huizhong MQ-2000PT) was -0.231%-0.461%, and the measurement score was 96.6 points; The difference of 95% LoA in the Taihe Hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine in Anhui Province (reference instrument: Huizhong MQ-2000PT) was -0.469%-0.479%, and the measurement score was 91.9 points. The other 14 hospitals, Lanyi AH600, were compared with 4 reference instrument brands, the difference of 95% LoA was less than 0.4% HbA1c, and the scores were all greater than 95 points. The results of paired sample T test or Wilcoxon paired sign rank sum test showed that there was no statistically significant difference between Lanyi AH600 and the reference instrument Arkray HA8180 (Z=1.665,P=0.096), with no statistical difference. The mean difference between the measured values of the two instruments was 0.004%. The comparison data of Lanyi AH600 and the reference instrument of all other institutions had significant differences (all P<0.001), however, it was necessary to consider whether it was within the clinical acceptable range in combination with the results of the Bland-Altman consistency analysis. The ROC curve of HbA1c detected by Lanyi AH600 in 985 patients with diabetes and 3 423 patients with non-diabetes was analyzed, the area under curve (AUC) was 0.877, the standard error was 0.007, and the 95% confidence interval 95%CI was (0.864, 0.891), which was statistically significant (P<0.001). The maximum value of Youden index was 0.634, and the corresponding HbA1c cut point was 6.235%. The sensitivity and specificity of diabetes diagnosis were 76.2% and 87.2%, respectively. Conclusion: Among the hospitals and instruments currently included in this study, among these four hospitals included Nanjing Maternity and Child Health Care Hospital in Jiangsu Province (reference instrument: Arkray HA8180), Tibetan Traditional Medical Hospital of TAR (reference instrument: Bio-Rad Variant Ⅱ), the People's Hospital of Chongqing Liang Jiang New Area (reference instrument: Huizhong MQ-2000PT), and the Taihe Hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine in Anhui Province (reference instrument: Huizhong MQ-2000PT), the comparison between Lanyi AH600 and the reference instruments showed relatively good consistency, while the other 14 hospitals involved four different brands of reference instruments: Arkray, Bio-Rad, DOSOH, and Huizhong, Lanyi AH600 had good consistency with its comparison. The best cut point of the domestic Lanyi AH600 for detecting HbA1c in the diagnosis of diabetes is 6.235%.

Objective: Cancer immunotherapy can lead to various side effects, termed immune-related adverse events (irAE). This study summarized and analyzed the clinical and pathological characteristics of immune-mediated liver injury caused by immune checkpoint inhibitors (ILICI). Methods: This is a retrospective case series study involving 11 patients diagnosed with ILICI at the Peking Union Medical College Hospital from November 2019 to November 2021. Patient demographic information and clinical data, including gender, age, ILICI onset, clinical and radiological manifestations, pathological features, treatment, and resumption of ICI were retrospectively collected and analyzed. Results: The patients were primarily males (9/11) with a median age of 65 (range: 32-73) years. ICI mainly resulted in either partial remission (4/11) or stable disease (3/11). ILICI occurred after a median of two cycles of anti-programmed cell death-1 (PD-1) therapy, with a median time from the initial and last anti-PD-1 therapy to ILICI onset of 57 days and 17 days, respectively. ILICI was mostly severe (3/11) or very severe (6/11). While the clinical and radiological manifestations were non-specific, the pathological features were active lobular hepatitis and portal inflammation, with prominent CD8+T lymphocyte infiltration. The basic treatment was hepatoprotective drugs (10/11). Glucocorticoids were used as the primary therapy (9/11) but were ineffective in 4 of 9 cases. Of these, 3 of 9 cases received combined treatment with mycophenolate mofetil (MMF), only one of whom achieved remission. By the end of the study, 2 of 11 cases had resumed ICI and neither had experienced an ILICI relapse. Conclusion: The ILICI patients in this study had a corresponding history of ICI treatment and pathological features. The main treatment included hepatoprotective drugs and glucocorticoids. Immunosuppressive drugs were added for some cases but had poor efficacy.

Female stress urinary incontinence (SUI) caused by support structure damage or relaxation of the urethra and bladder belongs to the category of “channel sinew disease” in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). The pathogenesis of this disease is “loss of nourishment in the channel sinews, and failure to contract because of relaxation”, which can be divided into two situations: deficiency syndrome mainly refers to qi deficiency, closely related to the three zang (脏) organs including lung, spleen, and kidney; and the excess syndrome mainly refers to heat pathogen and blood stasis. Therefore, the treatment principle of “nourishing the channel sinews, regulating sinews and controlling fluid” is proposed. The acupoints in the lower abdomen, lumbosacral region, and lower limbs are mainly selected in the treatment of SUI with channel sinew needling, such as Qihai (RN 6), Guanyuan (RN 4), and Baliao. The selection of acupoints also emphasizes the pain area. Channel sinew needling includes floating needling, round-sharp needling, penetrating needling, and prickly needling, which reflects the integrity of channel sinew system, and emphasizes the local therapeutic effects highlighting arrival of needling effects at the location of disease. The theory of channel sinew opens up new ideas for treating SUI with acupuncture and moxibustion.

Objective:To investigate the application effect of paper review combined with situational exercise in the standardized training and teaching of ophthalmology nurses.Methods:A total of 39 ophthalmology nurses who received standardized training from September 2019 to July 2020 were selected as control group, and 42 ophthalmology nurses who received standardized training from September 2020 to July 2021 were selected as study group. The nurses in the control group received traditional teaching, and those in the study group received teaching with paper review and situational exercise. The two groups were compared in terms of the scores of theoretical knowledge and operation skills, comprehensive qualities (autonomous learning ability, independent analysis and problem-solving ability, nurse-patient communication ability, organization and coordination ability, and comprehensive first aid ability) before and after teaching, and the degree of satisfaction with teaching. SPSS 26.0 was used to perform the independent samples t-test, the paired t-test, the chi-square test, and the rank sum test. Results:After standardized training, compared with the control group, the study group had significantly higher scores of theoretical knowledge (93.29±1.82 vs. 90.36±1.51, P<0.05) and operation skills (95.14±1.34 vs. 92.62±1.26, P<0.05). After standardized training, both groups had significant increases in the scores of autonomous learning ability, independent analysis and problem-solving ability, nurse-patient communication ability, organization and coordination ability, and comprehensive first aid ability, and the study group had significantly higher scores of these comprehensive qualities than the control group ( P<0.05). There was a significant difference in the distribution of the degree of satisfaction with teaching between the two groups ( P<0.05), and the study group had a significantly higher degree of satisfaction than the control group. Conclusion:Paper review combined with situational exercise can improve the specialized theoretical knowledge, technical operational level, and comprehensive qualities of ophthalmology nurses receiving standardized training and enhance the degree of satisfaction with teaching.

Objective To investigate the expression of serum soluble leukocyte differentiation antigen 14 subtype(sCD14-ST)in children with bacterial pneumonia and its relationship with the types of pathogen in-fection and disease outcome.Methods A total of 98 children with bacterial pneumonia admitted to the hospi-tal from January 2022 to March 2023 were selected as the bacterial pneumonia group.According to the types of pathogen infection infection,the children were divided into gram-negative bacteria group(70 cases)and gram-positive bacteria group(28 cases).Another according to the patient's short-term curative effect,the chil-dren will be divided into good curative effect group(68 cases)and poor curative effect group(30 cases).A to-tal of 30 healthy children who underwent physical examinations in the same hospital during the same period were selected as the control group.Serum levels of sCD14-ST,C-reactive protein(CRP)and procalcitonin(PCT)were measured and compared in each group.Pearson correlation was used to analyze the correlation be-tween serum sCD14-ST level and CRP and PCT in children with bacterial pneumonia.Receiver operating char-acteristic(ROC)curve was used to analyze the value of serum sCD14-ST,CRP and PCT levels on the disease outcome of children with bacterial pneumonia.Results The levels of CRP,PCT and sCD14-ST in bacterial pneumonia group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).The serum levels of CRP,PCT and sCD14-ST in the Gram-negative bacteria group were higher than those in the Gram-positive bacteria group(P<0.05).The levels of serum CRP,PCT and sCD14-ST in the good curative effect group were lower than those in the poor curative effect group(P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that the serum sCD14-ST level was positively correlated with CRP and PCT in children with bacterial pneumonia(r=0.498,0.526,P<0.05).ROC analysis showed that the area under the curve of serum sCD14-ST,CRP,and PCT in predic-ting the outcome of bacterial pneumonia in children was 0.867(95%CI 0.785-0.950),0.759(95%CI 0.653-0.865),and 0.847(95%CI 0.759-0.935),respectively.Conclusion The serum sCD14-ST level is abnormally increased in children with bacterial pneumonia,and it is related to the type of pathogen infection and clinical outcome.The serum sCD14-ST level has a certain evaluation value for the outcome of pathogen in-fection pneumonia in children.
ABSTRACT
Objective:To evaluate the clinical curative effect of self-made Lishi Qufeng Juanbi Decoction combined with Febuxostat tablet on uric acid nephropathy (UAN).Methods:Randomized controlled trial. A total of 150 patients with UAN in Yixing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were enrolled as the observation objects between October 2019 to October 2021. According to random number table method, they were divided into two groups, 75 in each group. The control group was treated with Febuxostat tablets on basis of routine diet intervention, while the observation group was treated with self-made Lishi Qufeng Juanbi Decoction on basis of control group. All were continuously treated for 6 months. TCM syndromes were scored before and after treatment. The levels of serum uric acid (SUA) and creatinine (SCr) were detected by full-automatic biochemical analyzer, and levels of serum CRP, IL-6 and IL-8 were detected by ELISA. The 24h urine was collected to detect 24 h urine protein quantitation. The adverse events were recorded, and clinical curative effect was evaluated.Results:There were significant differences in total response rate between observation group and control group [93.33% (70/75) vs. 80.00% (60/75); χ2=5.77, P=0.016]. After treatment, scores of waist soreness-fatigue and frequent nocturia in observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group ( t=9.17, 2.67, P<0.01), and frequency of joint swelling pain was significantly lower than that of the control group ( t=9.49, P<0.01). The levels of serum SUA and SCr, and 24 h urine protein quantitation in observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group ( t=3.38, 2.49, 12.55, P<0.01 or P<0.05), and levels of CRP, IL-6 and IL-8 were significantly lower than those in the control group ( t=5.44, 4.15, 9.61, P<0.01). There was no significant difference in incidence of adverse reactions between observation group and control group [4.00% (3/75) vs. 10.67% (8/75); χ2=2.45, P=0.117]. Conclusion:The self-made Lishi Qufeng Juanbi Decoction combined with Febuxostat tablets can promote uric acid metabolism, improve high uric acid environment, protect renal function, inhibit the release of inflammatory factors, improve curative effect and reduce adverse reactions in UAN patients.

Scientific research is an important driving force for the development of medicine. Good cooperation between hospital clinical medical staff and basic researchers is conducive to complementary advantages, promoting the development of hospital research and the improvement of diagnosis and treatment level, and helping hospitals to achieve high-quality development as well. Since March 2017, a tertiary children′s hospital carried out a practice of collaboration between clinical medical staff and basic researchers. The measures taken refer to setting up clinical and scientific research integration teams, implementing a co-PI system, establishing the joint Party branches, strengthening the cooperation with universities and research institutes, promoting the cooperative research and transformation of the achievements, and improving the performance appraisal management system of scientific research. From 2017 to 2022, five clinical and scientific research joint laboratories were built, and two major projects of National Natural Science Foundation were approved. The clinical and scientific research departments jointly published 122 SCI papers and jointly carried out 71 research projects. This practice had achieved good results, which could provide references for the hospitals of the same scale to carry out cooperation between clinical staff and basic scientific researchers.

AIM: To investigate the changes and correlation of retinal nerve fiber layer(RNFL)and macular retinal thickness in children with anisometropic amblyopia.METHODS: A total of 159 cases(159 eyes)children with anisometropic amblyopia treated in our ophthalmology department from October 2020 to June 2021 were selected as the study group, and 159 cases(159 eyes)children with normal vision who examined in the ophthalmology department of our hospital in the same period and age group were selected as the control group. The study group received traditional comprehensive training combined with 4D visual training for amblyopia based on refractive correction and covering of healthy eyes. The RNFL and macular retinal thickness before and after treatment between the study group and the control group was compared, and the correlation between RNFL and macular retinal thickness before treatment in the study group was analyzed.RESULTS: The RNFL thickness of average, upper, lower, nasal and temporal in the study group before and after 3mo of treatment was higher than those of the control group, and the RNFL thickness of average, upper, lower, nasal and temporal before treatment in the study group was higher than those after 3mo of treatment(P&#x003C;0.05). The average, inferior, nasal, temporal, nasal, and central retinal thickness of the outer ring of the macular area in the study group before treatment were higher than those in the same group after 3mo of treatment and the control group(P&#x003C;0.05). Before treatment, there was a negative correlation between the thickness of the upper RNFL in the study group and the retinal thickness in the central macular area(r=-0.330, P&#x003C;0.05), the thickness of the lower and nasal RNFL was positively correlated with the thickness of the temporal retina in the outer and inner rings of the macular area(all P&#x003C;0.05), while the thickness of temporal RNFL was negatively correlated with the thickness of the nasal and temporal retina outside the macular area(r=-0.414, -0.462, all P&#x003C;0.05).CONCLUSION: The changes in RNFL and macular retinal thickness in children with anisometropic amblyopia can hinder normal retinal development, and there is a certain correlation between RNFL and macular retinal thickness.

Hemagglutinin and neuraminidase, two important glycoproteins on the surface of influenza virus, play a considerable role in the entry and release stage of the viral life cycle, respectively. With in-depth investigation of influenza virus glycoproteins and the continuous innovation of drug discovery strategies, a new generation of glycoproteins inhibitors have been continuously discovered. From the point of view of medicinal chemistry, this review summarizes the current advances in seeking small-molecule inhibitors targeting influenza virus glycoproteins, hoping to provide valuable guidance for future development of novel antiviral drugs.
