ABSTRACT
BACKGROUND:Due to the unstable drug release rate of uniaxial bone scaffolds,multi-structure composite printing methods have been sought in and outside China in recent years.Currently,coaxial drug-loaded bone scaffolds,which combine drug-loaded sustained release system with bone transplantation and repair technology,not only replace the defective bone after implantation,but also release drugs slowly,providing a microenvironment conducive to bone formation at the implant site. OBJECTIVE:To explore and assess the in vitro antibacterial properties of uniaxial and coaxial minocycline hydrochloride bone scaffolds. METHODS:Rapid prototyping technology was used to prepare uniaxial hydroxyapatite/silk fibroin-polyvinyl alcohol scaffold,uniaxial hydroxyapatite/silk fibroin-polyvinyl alcohol scaffold,coaxial hydroxyapatite/silk fibroin-polyvinyl alcohol scaffold,and coaxial hydroxyapatite/silk fibroin-polyvinyl alcohol scaffold,respectively,which were named S1,S2,T1 and T2.The morphology,porosity,degradation performance,in vitro sustained-release performance and cytotoxicity of scaffolds were characterized.Four kinds of bone scaffolds were immersed in PBS to prepare the extracts at different time points(1,3,5,7,14,21,and 28 days).The qualitative filter paper was placed into the extract for 24 hours.The filter paper was co-cultured with Porphyromonas gingivalis and Fusobacterium nucleatum for 72 hours.The bacteriostatic effect of four groups of scaffolds was detected by the agar diffusion method. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)Scaffold characterization:Four groups of scaffolds were well formed.The surface of micro-wires in the S1 and S2 groups was dense and smooth,and the surface of micro-wires in the T1 and T2 groups was rough.Porosity was between 40%-47%and met the requirements of bone scaffolds.Compared with the S2 group,sustained release time was longer in the T2 group.The sustained release concentration of the drug was between 1-10 μg/mL for a long time,which was more conducive to bacteriostasis and osteogenesis.After 10 weeks of immersion in PBS in vitro,the degradation rate of the coaxial printed bone scaffold was faster than that of the corresponding uniaxial printed bone scaffold,and the degradation rate of the coaxial loaded bone scaffold was lower than that of the coaxial non-loaded bone scaffold.The four groups of scaffold extracts were co-cultured with osteoblasts respectively.CCK-8 assay displayed that the cell proliferation rate was greater than 75%,which met the requirements of biocompatibility.(2)In vitro antibacterial effect:S1 and T1 did not have antibacterial activity.S2 and T2 had an obvious antibacterial effect.Under the extraction solution on day 28,the diameter of Porphyromonas gingivalis and Fusobacterium nucleatum inhibition zone in the S2 group was smaller than that in the T2 group(P<0.05).(3)These findings exhibit that hydroxyapatite/silk fibroin-polyvinyl alcohol scaffolds with coaxial minocycline have good physical properties and bacteriostatic properties.

Hospital culture plays an important role in the orderly operation of large shelter hospitals as well as epidemic prevention and control.From April to May 2022, the shelter hospital of the National Convention and Exhibition Center(Shanghai) had created the large shelter hospital culture co-built by doctors and patients with a greater sense of belonging by taking measures such as joint party building between doctors and patients, giving play to the vanguard force of party members, carrying out various forms of cultural, sports and science popularization activities, encouraging enthusiastic patients to participate in activity planning, focusing on key groups, formulating shelter " residents convention", and so on. These measures ultimately formed cultural adaptation, cultural synchronization and cultural shaping, which were conducive to enhancing the empathy of doctors and patients, improving the effectiveness of medical implementation, and promoting the standardization of shelter management system. This harmonious, warm and autonomous culture co-built by doctors and patients effectively ensures the safe and orderly operation of the shelter hospital, and provides reference for the construction of the cultural system of large shelter hospitals in China.

OBJECTIVE@#To research advanced glycation end-product receptors (RAGE), NF-kappaB, p21 expressions in C57BL/6j mice cochlea spiral ganglion cells(SGC) ,and then to investigate the presbycusis pathogenesis.@*METHOD@#To take C57BL/6J mice:2 month 25,and 10 month 25. Histological sections were observed the SGC. RAGE, NF-kappaB, p21 were immunohistochemical in the SGC,with IPP6 to IOD.@*RESULT@#(1) The count SGCs of 10 month-old was obviously decreased comparing to 2 month-old, the count of 2 month SGC is 39 +/- 5, 10 month group is 20 +/- 6, P < 0.01; (2) RAGE, NF-kappaB, p21 expressed in spiral ganglion cell,different place with different age,and the means optical density in the 10 month are higher than the 2 month, respectively. The IOD of RAGE expression in 2 month SGC: 0.179 +/- 0.025, 10 month IOD: 0.308 +/- 0.050; The IOD of NF-kappaB expression in 2 month SGC: 0.181 +/- 0.045, 10 month IOD: 0.335 +/- 0.120; The IOD of p21 expression in 2 month SGC: 0.160 +/- 0.023, 10 month IOD: 0.365 +/- 0.031, compare with 2 group, respectively, P < 0.05, and the difference has statistics sense.@*CONCLUSION@#RAGE,NF-kappaB, p21 expressions are in SGCs and increases with the aging of SGCs, suppose RAGE, NF-kappaB, p21 may participate in the process of presbycusis pathogenesis.

OBJECTIVE@#To investigate the variation on different regions of the forearm when taking the allergen skin prick tests(SPTs).@*METHOD@#Forty-one patients with hyper-reactive nasal symptoms were included. SPTs were done on the proximal, telecentric, middle region of right forearm and telecentric region of left forearm with house dust mite and histamine. The average diameter of wheal and the reactive grade were calculated and analyzed.@*RESULT@#The diameters of the wheal on equal position of two forearms were similar (P > 0.05). The intension of SPTs reaction decreased from proximal to telecentric region of the same forearm (P < 0.05).@*CONCLUSION@#The intension of SPTs reaction on different region of forearm are quite different, which should be noticed in clinical practice.

OBJECTIVE@#To evaluate the efficacy of specific immunotherapy (SIT) with standardized dermatophagoides pteronyssinus extract for allergic rhinitis (AR)accompanied with asthma.@*METHOD@#One hundred and fifty-five patients (40 AR with asthma, AR & asthma) in accordance with the inclusion criteria of SIT, were allocated to receive standardized Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus extract (SIT group, n = 89) or medical treatment (control group, n = 66). AR with or without asthma was observed separately. Symptom and medicine scores, quality of life were recorded and analyzed before and after 1 year treatment. Side effects were registered. Subjective evaluation of symptoms was made by the patients.@*RESULT@#Rhinitis and asthma symptom scores, medicine scores and quality of life were greatly improved in SIT group of AR & asthma after 1 year, which were not significant changed in control group except for medicine scores. The subjective evaluation of symptoms was also significantly improved in SIT group. In patients of AR without asthma, the symptom scores, medicine scores and quality of life were both improved. The SIT group improved greater than that of control group.@*CONCLUSION@#The clinical efficacy of patients with AR & asthma was not good with simple medical treatment, while great clinical efficacy could be acquired with SIT.

Objective To observe the changes of cerebrovascular hemodynamic index(CVHI) in atherosclerotic rabbits. Methods Twenty male New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into two group: Twelve were atherosclerosis model (AS) group and eight were control group. Atherosclerosis model group were fed with high fat diet and control group were fed with ordinary diet. At 12th week, CVHI were measured in the common carotid artery with spectral analysis and the compliance of carotid was observed. Purpose: To discuss the methods and the effects of DIT on pulmonary carcinoma Type PT4 Materials and methods: This Procedure was performed in 45 cases with Pulmonary Carcinoma Type PT4 using infusion of chemotherapeutical agent through catheterized bronchial and pulmonary arteries, bronchial artery and thoracic aorta or bronchial artery and intrapleural cavity respectevely on central pulmonary carcinomas complicating with metastasis in lung 15 cases, complete atelectasis 15 cases or ipsilateral hydrothorax 15 cases. Results: 7 cases were complete relaxed (CR15.6%); 13 partial relax ed (PR28.9%); 20 nochange (44. 4% ); 5 enlarged (11.1% ). Conclusion: The results showed this method is some what egnal to or ever in some aspects, prevalent over that of systematic chemotherapy theretore provides new scientific method for thel treatment of pulmonary carcinoma Type PT4.

This study is to set up a method for separating,culturing and identifying neural stem cells from cortex in rat embryo,observing their characteristics of multipotentiality and differentiation in vitro. By using serum-free cell culturing and clone technology,the stem cells were isolated,cultured and passaged from cortex in 14-day old rat embryo. The expression of Nestin antigen of brain cells were investigated by immunocytochemistry and H-E staining. It proved that cells separated from cortex in rat embryo possessed the potential to form clones and express nestin special antigen,the differentiated cells could express special antigen of neurons,astrocytes,and oligodendrocytes,they were stem cells of central nervous system.
