ABSTRACT
Abstract The Anais Brasileiros de Dermatologia, published since 1925, is the most influential dermatological journal in Latin America, indexed in the main international bibliographic databases, and occupies the 50th position among the 70 dermatological journals indexed in the Journal of Citations Reports, in 2022. In this article, the authors present a critical analysis of its trajectory in the last decade and compare its main bibliometric indices with Brazilian medical and international dermatological journals. The journal showed consistent growth in different bibliometric indices, which indicates a successful editorial policy and greater visibility in the international scientific community, attracting foreign authors. The increases in citations received (4.1 ×) and in the Article Influence Score (2.9×) were more prominent than those of the main Brazilian medical and international dermatological journals. The success of Anais Brasileiros de Dermatologia in the international scientific scenario depends on an assertive editorial policy, on promptly publication of high-quality articles, and on institutional stimulus to encourage clinical research in dermatology.

ABSTRACT
OBJECTIVE To analyze the current status and trend in the application of artificial intelligence in pharmaceutical service in China and globally. METHODS The research literature on the application of artificial intelligence technology in the field of hospital pharmaceutical service from database establishment to June 16, 2023, was searched in Web of Science and CNKI. The authors, countries/regions, institutions and the co-occurrence, clustering, and emergence of keywords were visually processed and analyzed using tools including Endnote, CiteSpace, and Python. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS Overall, 1 190 global literature and 178 Chinese literature were included. The number of publications issued in China and globally is increasing year by year, yet a gap remains in the quantity and quality of Chinese research compared with global research. Europe and the United States have built a close cooperation network in this field, while China’s regional development in this field remains imbalanced. Global research hotspots mainly focus on the development and application of high-end technologies such as machine learning, natural language processing, and deep learning; Chinese research concentrates more on actual medical services and medical policies, especially in promoting rational drug use, prescription review, and the development of traditional Chinese medicine.

Methods Web of Science Core Collection was selected to obtain literature related to EVALI from 2013 to 2022 across the world, statistics were calculated by country/region, institution, author, journal, cited literature, keyword, etc. CiteSpace 6.2.R1 was used for visual analysis to draw diagrams of publication trend, author cooperation network, co-citation clustering time distribution, and keyword cluster. Results A total of 888 EVALI-related papers published between 2013 and 2022 were retrieved. The number of publications was gradually increased, with a significant increase in 2020 and a decrease from 2021, but the number of citations was increased year by year. The most active country was the United States (631 articles). European and American countries cooperated closely and the centrality was prominent. Among the publishing institutions, the University of California system topped the list with 103 articles. Rahman I (27 articles) published the most articles and had a high degree of centrality; Goniewicz M L was the most cited author; and the network analysis diagram showed relatively weak collaboration between authors. The American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine was the journal with the highest number of publications (94 articles). The top 5 cited articles were all cited more than 300 times. The leading high-frequency keywords of EVALI-related studies were nicotine (149 times), exposure (118 times), and oxidative stress (80 times). The cluster of key nodes in the co-citation network and the clustering time distribution diagram indicated youth e-cigarette addiction received widespread attention from society. From the top 25 keywords with the strongest bursts, the focus of research on the pathogenesis of EVALI gradually shifted from the oxidative stress damage associated with e-cigarette vapor to the oxidative effect of flavoring chemicals in the process of lung injury. The current research interests in this field were mainly the mechanisms of various chemicals in e-cigarettes and the heating elements that led to damage to the lungs. Conclusion EVALI is receiving continuous attention from researchers in government, medical institutions, and other organizations. A variety of e-cigarette ingredients such as flavoring chemicals may lead to varying degrees of cytotoxicity, inflammation, and lung damage. However, the pathophysiology of EVALI remains unclear. In the future, more Chinese scholars should be encouraged to participate in this field.

ABSTRACT
BACKGROUND:To investigate the research focus and follow-up research trend of exosomes in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic kidney disease,in order to provide a corresponding reference basis for the future research of exosomes in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic kidney disease, and promote the development of this field. OBJECTIVE:To conduct a bibliometric analysis of relevant studies in each database painstakingly until now for public publication on exosome diagnosis and treatment of chronic kidney disease,to explore the current state and trend of the field in this discipline, and to predict future research directions. METHODS:A computerized search was performed on WanFang,CNKI,CBM,VIP,Web of Science,Cochrane Library,PubMed,and Embase databases from inception to December 2022 for published literature related to the diagnosis and treatment of chronic kidney disease by exosomes. The literature transcripts were screened by NoteExpress for co-occurrence,clustering and mutational analysis among authors, institutions, and keywords through CiteSpace 6.1R4 and VOSviewer software, and the visual knowledge map was plotted. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)A total of 804 articles, including 133 in Chinese and 671 in English, were included, and the volume of publications climbed year by year with a rapid trend. We included 3 649 literature authors, including 326 Chinese authors and 3 323 English authors, and the field has formed a core team centered on scholars such as Liu Bicheng,Wang Bin,Lyu LinLi,Wang Xiaonan and Wang Haidong, and has formed a stable multicenter collaboration platform among institutions.Research focuses on the three functions of exosomes:carrier, diagnosis and therapy.(2)As a form of extracellular vesicles, exosomes have important mechanisms for carrying, transferring molecular mediators and signal transduction, and have an important role in the physiopathological development of chronic kidney disease, which can provide important health surveillance data for epidemiological studies and clinical decision-making.In recent years, the development of relevant studies on exosome-based diagnosis of chronic kidney disease has expanded dramatically, forming a development layout of collaborative cooperation among multiple institutions worldwide, led by our scientific research institutions. However,at present, the study of the specific function and mechanism of action of exosomes and contents in the disease process has not been fully validated.Their significance for the early diagnosis and prognosis evaluation of chronic kidney disease is not very clear. The intrinsic mechanism of action-related research is still relatively poor.Isolation and purification techniques still need to be improved, and high-quality evidence-based clinical trials with multicenter and large samples have not yet appeared, which still need to be verified by further studies.
ABSTRACT
BACKGROUND:The use of blood flow restriction training in clinical rehabilitation is becoming more common,in part due to technological advances and increased interest in research and medicine. OBJECTIVE:To explore the global trend and development prospects of clinical rehabilitation-related blood flow restriction training application, identify research gaps, and propose future research directions. METHODS:Web of Science,PubMed,and Elsevier were searched for literature related to clinical rehabilitation using blood flow restriction training published from 2001 to 2022.A total of 515 articles were included for further review.Bibliometrics, exploratory factor analysis and cluster analysis were used to reveal the emerging research fields and topics. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:First of all,the overall research trend of the number of published articles shows a steady rise. The United States is the main research area in this field, and universities contribute the most to journals.Secondly,a core group of authors, led by Loenneke JP,Abe T and Dankel SJ,has been formed, with less collaboration among highly productive authors. Finally, research on blood flow restriction training focuses on skeletal muscle rehabilitation, cognitive functional activity, and chronic disease rehabilitation in clinical rehabilitation, with particular attention to the application of blood flow restriction in the recovery of symptoms such as muscle atrophy, knee pain, and joint effusion after anterior cruciate reconstruction surgery.Theoretical research on low-pressure blood flow restriction that is effective in relieving musculoskeletal symptoms has been hot in recent years, which can systematically guide the musculoskeletal rehabilitation in clinical practice. In the future, clinicians will extend follow-up periods, register larger and more diverse sample sizes, and use randomization techniques to determine appropriate prescribing indications for rehabilitating patients, ensure clinical safety, and quantitatively analyze and develop rehabilitation protocols with the maximum effect at the minimum effective dose for different clinical populations.
