RESUMEN

Using a syngeneic transplantable leukemia model of 615 inbred mice, named L615, we (1) compared the adoptive immunoprophylactic(AIP) effects of spleen cells from various normal dornor mice with different genetic background and from different immune-deficient mice;(2) studied the adoptive immunotherapeutic (AIT) and adoptive chemo-immunotherapeutic(ACIT) effects of immune spleen cells from those survival mice in the AIP groups;(3) analysed the antitumor activities of various murine spleen cells either nonspecifically activated in vitro or specifically induced in vivo and resensitized in vitro by MMC-treated L615 tumor cell vaccine (TCV).Our results might provide some new experimental evidences for clinical application of cancer ACI.

RESUMEN

Cell adhesion activity of CEA on tumor cell lines was studied in the experiment.Single cell suspension of CEA positive ceils LoVo and HeLa aggregated respectively in RPMI1640 completemedium at 37℃ to form cell aggregates in different size.The cell aggregation could be specificly inhibited by anti-CEA polyclonal antibodies and purified CEA antigen.Similar results were obtained using cell adhesion assay.The experiment indicated that CEA is one of cell adhesion molecules.

RESUMEN

Our previous experiment demonstrated that CEA is a cell adhesion molecule.The mechanism of cell adhesion activity of CEA was studied in this experiment using CEA positive cells line LoVo.Electron—micrographys study showed that LoVo cells adhered by cross contact of microvilli on the cell surface,and formation of gap junction and desomosomal junction were also observed.Cell adhesion activity of CEA was apperently influenced by emperature,NaN3,EDTA and cytochalasin B,showing that cell adhesion is an energy-consuming process depending on bivalent cation and movement of microfilament.A model of CEA on cell membrane was put forward.
