Este artigo tem como objetivo discutir a influência das relações familiares na construção da identidade do Nael, o narrador-personagem do romance "Dois Irmãos" por Milton Hautoum. Trata-se de um estudo teórico, empreendido por meio dos aportes teóricos da psicanálise de família, com ênfase nos aspectos relativos à transmissão psíquica geracional. Entende-se, assim, que a memória e as complexas relações familiares se configuram como um princípio organizador do psiquismo de cada indivíduo. Desse modo, Nael, através de sua narrativa, construída por meio da lembrança do passado, poderia conhecer e compreender a sua história, que é também a história de sua família, e, assim, construir a sua identidade.(AU)

This article aims to discuss the influence of family relationships in the construction of the Nael’s identity, the narrator-character in the novel "Dois Irmãos" by Milton Hatoum It is a theoretical study, undertaken by the theoretical framework of family psychoanalysis, with emphasis on aspects of the psychic generational transmission. It is understood that memory and the complex family relationships are configured as an organizing principle of the psyche of each individual. Thus, Nael, through its narrative, constructed through the recollection of the past, could know and understand his history, which is also the story of his family, and thus be more apt to develop his identity.(AU)

O uso do genograma na psicoterapia psicanalítica familiar / The use of the genogram in family psychoanalytic psychotherapy

Objetivou-se, por meio desta pesquisa, investigar o uso do genograma na psicoterapia psicanalítica familiar, para compreensão do papel que esta técnica pode desempenhar no setting familiar. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa que fez uso do material clínico advindo de sessões com famílias realizadas em uma clínica de psicologia de uma universidade pública. O material clínico coletado foi analisado por meio do referencial psicanalítico e pôde-se compreender que o genograma pode contribuir para a compreensão da dinâmica familiar, elucidando aspectos da transmissão psíquica geracionale, com isso, também o desenvolvimento do processo terapêutico. Conclui-se que esta é uma técnica que pode favorecer o desenvolvimento da psicoterapia psicanalítica familiar, especialmente quando empregada de forma mais livre e espontânea, dando margem para o aparecimento de aspectos inconscientes, mais difíceis de serem acessados de outra maneira.

The objective by means of this research was to investigate the use of the genogram in family psychoanalytic psychotherapy so as to understand the role that this technique can play in the family setting. It is a qualitative research that made use of clinical material arising from encounters with couples and families held in a psychological clinic at a public university. The clinical material collected was analyzed through the psychoanalytic theory and it could be understood that the genogram can contribute to the understanding of family dynamics, elucidating aspects of generational psychic transmission and thus the development of the therapeutic process as well. The conclusion is that this is a technique that may favor the development of family psychoanalytic psychotherapy especially when used in a freeer and spontaneous way, giving rise to the appearance of unconscious aspects which are more difficult to be accessed otherwise.
