Electrocardiogram (ECG) signals are easily disturbed by internal and external noise, and its morphological characteristics show significant variations for different patients. Even for the same patient, its characteristics are variable under different temporal and physical conditions. Therefore, ECG signal detection and recognition for the heart disease real-time monitoring and diagnosis are still difficult. Based on this, a wavelet self-adaptive threshold denoising combined with deep residual convolutional neural network algorithm was proposed for multiclass arrhythmias recognition. ECG signal filtering was implemented using wavelet adaptive threshold technology. A 20-layer convolutional neural network (CNN) containing multiple residual blocks, namely deep residual convolutional neural network (DR-CNN), was designed for recognition of five types of arrhythmia signals. The DR-CNN constructed by residual block local neural network units alleviated the difficulty of deep network convergence, the difficulty in tuning and so on. It also overcame the degradation problem of the traditional CNN when the network depth was increasing. Furthermore, the batch normalization of each convolution layer improved its convergence. Following the recommendations of the Association for the Advancements of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI), experimental results based on 94 091 2-lead heart beats from the MIT-BIH arrhythmia benchmark database demonstrated that our proposed method achieved the average detection accuracy of 99.034 9%, 99.498 0% and 99.334 7% for multiclass classification, ventricular ectopic beat (Veb) and supra-Veb (Sveb) recognition, respectively. Using the same platform and database, experimental results showed that under the comparable network complexity, our proposed method significantly improved the recognition accuracy, sensitivity and specificity compared to the traditional deep learning networks, such as deep Multilayer Perceptron (MLP), CNN, etc. The DR-CNN algorithm improves the accuracy of the arrhythmia intelligent diagnosis. If it is combined with wearable equipment, internet of things and wireless communication technology, the prevention, monitoring and diagnosis of heart disease can be extended to out-of-hospital scenarios, such as families and nursing homes. Therefore, it will improve the cure rate, and effectively save the medical resources.

Objective@#To explore the function and molecular mechanism of Timeless in promoting hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) growth.@*Methods@#The expression of Timeless in HCC and paracancer tissues were analyzed by using the public data of HCC. Timeless was overexpressed in MHCC97L cells and silenced in MHCC97H cells, respectively, and the expression of Timeless and its downstream molecules were detected by real-time PCR and western blot. The effects of Timeless on cell glycolysis, oxidative phosphorylation and proliferation were detected by the glucose uptake experiment, lactic acid detection experiment, the extracellular fluid pH detection experiment, cell oxygen consumption test and cell viability assay, respectively.@*Results@#The level of Timeless in HCC tissue was significantly higher than that of paracancer tissue (P<0.05). The relative cellular glucose uptake levels in the groups of Timeless knockdown, including siTimeless-1 and siTimeless-2 group were 0.510±0.119 and 0.508±0.099, respectively, significantly different from that of control group (P<0.05); The relative cellular uptake level of Timeless overexpressed group was 1.953±0.324, significantly different from that of vector transfected group (P<0.05). The relative levels of lactic acid production in the siTimeless-1 and siTimeless-2 group were 0.579±0.096 and 0.550±0.120, respectively, significantly different from that of control group (P<0.05); The relative production level of lactic acid in the Timeless overexpressed group was 1.463±0.179, significantly different that of vector transfected group (P<0.05). The extracellular pH values of siTimeless-1 and siTimeless-2 group were 7.390±0.035 and 7.370±0.060, respectively, significantly different from that of control group (P<0.05); the extracellular pH value of Timeless overexpressed group was 7.130±0.031, significantly different than vector transfected group (P<0.05). Oxygen consumption rate of siTimeless-1 and siTimeless-2 group were 3.686±0.389 and 3.955±0.431, respectively, significantly higher than 1.690±0.297 of control group (P<0.05); Oxygen consumption rate of Timeless overexpressed group was 1.302±0.336, significantly lower than 3.185±0.262 of vector transfected group (P<0.05) Timeless inhibited the expression of p53. The cell glucose uptake, lactic acid production, the pH of extracellular culture medium and cell oxygen consumption of control group were not significantly different from that of Timeless and p53 co-silenced group [(si-Timeless+sip53) group] (P>0.05); the glucose uptake, the production of lactic acid, the pH of the extracellular culture medium and the oxygen consumption of Timeless co-transfected with p53 (Timeless+p53) group were not significantly different from those of vector transfected group (P>0.05). Timeless promoted the proliferation of HCC cells through inhibiting the expression of p53.@*Conclusion@#Timeless promotes reprogramming of glucose metabolism and proliferation of HCC cells by inhibiting the p53-dependent signaling pathway.

Objective To evaluate the expression of mitochondrial fission factor (MFF) and its biological effects in the progression of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).Methods ①Quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR),Western blotting and immunohistochemistry analysis were used to detect the expression levels of MFF in HCC tumor tissues and cell lines.②The effect of MFF knockdown on proliferation of HCC cells was analyzed by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MrTT) and colony formation assays in siCtrl,si-MFF#1,si-MFF#2 groups.③The effect of MFF knockdown on apoptosis of HCC cells was analyzed by apoptosis assay with Annexin Ⅴ-FITC and PI.Results ①The MFF expression was higher in tumor tissues compared with tumor-adjacent normal tissues [mRNA level M(QR):0.292 (0.443) vs.0.235(0.333),Z=-4.166,P<0.001;protein level M(QR):5.414 (4.545) vs.3.120 (3.955),Z =-3.961,P < 0.001)].The MFF expression was higher in HCC cell lines compared with normal liver cell line.②RNA interference-mediated knockdown of MFF inhibited proliferation of HCC cells (siCtrl vs.si-MFF#1:5.29 ± 0.34 vs.3.34 ± 0.37,P =0.014;siCtrl vs.si-MFF#2:5.29 ± 0.34 vs.3.09 ± 0.40,P =0.010).RNA interference-mediated knockdown of MFF inhibited colony formation of HCC cells (siCtrl vs.si-MFF#1:95.35 ± 21.20 vs.37.56 ± 10.61,P =0.003;siCtrl vs.si-MFF#2:95.35 ± 21.20 vs.41.23 ± 10.82,P =0.004).③RNA interference-mediated knockdown of MFF induced apoptosis of HCC cells (siCtrl vs.si-MFF#1:9.56% ± 1.70% vs.20.08% ± 2.03%,P < 0.001;siCtrl vs.si-MFF#2:9.56% ± 1.70% vs.21.14% ± 1.38%,P < 0.001).Conclusion MFF is overexpressed in HCC,which accelerates cell proliferation and suppresses apoptosis,indicating that MFF can serve as a potential oncogene and drug target in HCC treatment.

Meridian theory plays an important role in the guidance of clinical practice of acupuncture and moxibustion. Since the publication of(), the meridian theory has been developed. In the paper, in view of complex science, the topological properties of acupoint-symptom network were analyzed quantitatively by taking acupoint as node and indication as the connection, such as high clustering coefficient and the small world effect. It was the first time to give the abstraction for the topological proof of the high efficiency information transmission property of acupoint-symptom network meridian system at different times. Its quantitative and digitalized significance was analyzed on the development of meridian theory under the complex scientific background so as to provide a new thought and method for the study of meridian theory and acupuncture modernization.

OBJECTIVE:To explore loading dose simvastatin on related indicators in PCI perioperative period of patients with acute myocardial infarction. METHODS:Data of 203 acute myocardial infarction patients undergoing emergency PCI were retro-spectively collected and divided into observation group (102 cases) and control group (101 cases) by different regimens. Control group received conventional treatment for 3 d before PCI,including orally taking Aspirin enteric-coated tablet 300 mg/d,qd + Sim-vastatin tablet 40 mg/d,qd,simvastatin 40 mg/d after surgery,qd,for 4 weeks. Observation group received Simvastatin tablet 80mg 2 h before PCI,the other treatment was the same with control group. Total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),low-density li-poprotein cholesterol (LDL-C),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),IL-6,IL-10,TFN-α,plasma super-sensitive tropo-nin(TNT-HSST)level,creatine kinase isoenzyme(CKMB)level,high sensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)level and transami-nase level before and 24 h after treatment were observed and the incidence of adverse reactions was recorded. Meanwhile,the inci-dence of postoperative 30 d of MACE and CIN was followed-up. RESULTS:There was no significant difference in TG,TC, LDL-C,HDL-C before and after treatment(P>0.05). Before treatment,there was no significant difference in TNF-α,IL-6,IL-10, hs-CRP,CKMB,TNT-HSST levels in 2 groups (P>0.05);after treatment,TNF-α,IL-6,hs-CRP,CKMB,TNT-HSST levels were significantly higher than before(P<0.05),and TNF-α,IL-6,hs-CRP levels in observation group was significantly lower than control group,CKMB,TNT-HSST levels were significantly higher than control group;IL-10 was significantly lower than before in 2 groups,and observation group was higher than control group,with statistical significance (P<0.05). The MACE rate and CIN rate in observation were lower than control group with statistical significance(P<0.05). And no obvious adverse reaction was found in 2 groups. CONCLUSIONS:Loading dose simvastatin in PCI perioperative period can significantly reduce patients' PCI, TNF-α,hs-CRP,CKMB,TNT-HSST levels and the incidence of cardiovascular and renal adverse reactions.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of simvastatin intensive treatment on the Postoperative Related Indexes of patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS) underwent percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI). METHODS:106 patients with were included in the study and randomly divided into observation group(53 cases)and control group(53 cases). Both groups were given aspirin 100 mg,qd+clopidogrel 75 mg,qd before PCI for 4 weeks;observation group was additionally given Simvastatin tablet orally 20 mg before supper 15 d before surgery. TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C,hs-CRP,IL-6 and IL-18 levels,LVEF,the occurrence of coronary artery restenosis were detected in 2 groups before surgery and 6 months after surgery. The occurrence of ADR was recorded during treatment. RESULTS:There was no statistical significance in the levels of TG,TC,LDL-C and HDL-C between 2 groups before surgery and 6 months after surgery (P>0.05). There was no statistical significance in hs-CRP,IL-18, IL-6 and LVEF levels between 2 groups before surgery(P>0.05). 6 months after surgery,hs-CRP,IL-6,IL-18 and LVEF levels of 2 groups were significantly higher than before treatment;hs-CRP,IL-6 and IL-18 levels of observation group were significantly lower than those of control group,and LVEF was significantly higher than control group,with statistical significance (P<0.05). The incidence of coronary artery restenosis in observation group was significantly lower than control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). No ADR was found in 2 groups during treatment. CONCLUSIONS:Preoperative simvastatin intensive treatment can effectively reduce cardiovascular inflammation degree in patients with ACS after PCI,prevent the formation of coronary artery thrombus,and reduce the incidence of coronary artery restenosis so as to effectively improve the prognosis and don' t increase the incidence of ADR.

Objective To investigate the long-term effects of modified Bristow-Latarjet operation for treatment of recurrent inferoanterior shoulder dislocation.Methods A retrospective case series study was done on 90 patients with recurrent inferoanterior shoulder dislocation treated by modified Bristow-Latarjct procedure from January 2001 to January 2016.There were 72 males and 18 females,with an average age of 36.8 years.There were 59 fight shouders and 31 left shoulders,with dislocation for 4-32 times (mean,13 times).Shoulder instability severity index score (ISIS) was 3-10 points (mean,6.4 points).The duration of disease was 6-26 months (mean,13 months).The operation methods were coracoid lateral incision with modification,rotator cuff interval approach,double hollow compression screw fixation,and bone congruent-arc technique in standing position.Clinical evaluation was done on postoperative recurrence of shoulder joint dislocation/subluxation,bone healing evaluated by X-ray and CT,Rowe score,simple shoulder function Test (SST) score,shoulder osteoarthritis score (Samilson-Prieto),bodv side shoulder external rotation angle and the subscapularis muscle strength.Results All patients were followed up for 1-15 years (mean,5.6 years).The rate of redislocation or subluxation during follow-up was zero.All transpositions of the coracoid got bone healing at postoperative 3-6 months.The Rowe score was increased significantly from (45.6 ± 9.4) points preoperatively to (92.6 ± 3.5) points postoperatively (P <0.01);SST score was increased significantly from (5.6 ± 1.2)points preoperatively to (9.6 ± 2.8) points postoperatively at final follow-up) (P < 0.01).Samilson-Prieto score was mild in 2 patients (2%).The body side shoulder external rotation angles were (56.7 ± 13.9) ° preoperatively and (54.6 ±14.1) ° postoperatively (P > 0.05).With regards to subscapularis strength,the lift-off and belly-press in injured side were (4.9 ± 0.9) kg and (4.4 ± 1.0) kg,respectively (P > 0.05).Lift-off and belly-off in normal side were (5.1 ± 0.5) kg and (4.7 ± 1.1) kg,respectively (P > 0.05).Conclusion The modified Bristow-Latarjet operation is a reproducible and effective technique that can restore shoulder stability,with advantages of sound bone healing,free shoulder external rotation,low incidence of shoulder joint osteoarthritis,remaining of myodynamia under scapula and hence has long-term effects and is worth of clinical applicaiton.

Objective To compare the early curative effects of arthroscopic modified suture bridge and single-row modified Mason-Allen suture in repair of supraspinatus tendon tears.Methods A retrospective case-control analysis was made on 28 patients with supraspinatus tendon tears admitted between June 2012 and June 2015.There were 16 males and 12 females,aged 43-63 years (mean,54.2 years).Thirteen patients (13 shoulders) were repaired using the arthroscopic modified suture bridge technique (Group A),and 15 patients (15 shoulders) were treated using the single-row modified Mason-Allen technique (Group B).Operation time and intraoperative blood loss were recorded.American shoulder and elbow surgeons (ASES) score,Constant score and visual analogue score (VAS) were used to evaluate the function and subjective outcomes preoperatively.Meanwhile,MRI was used for analysis of tendon integrity postoperatively.Results The operation time of Group A and B were (56.1 ± 23.2) minutes and (36.1 ± 15.6) minutes,respectively (P < 0.05).The intraoperative blood loss was (30.3 ± 20.5) ml and (28.5 ± 18.2) ml,respectively (P > 0.05).The average follow-up time for Groups A and B were 12 months and 12.6 months,respectively.The symptoms of 28 cases were alleviated after surgery,and the functions were obviously recovered.In Group A,thc VAS was decreased significantly from (7.0 ± 0.8) points preoperatively to (0.8 ± 0.8) points at final follow-up,ASES score was improved from (39.8 ± 3.1) points to (88.1 ± 4.8) points,and Constant score was improved from (54.8 ± 2.7) points to (88.2 ± 3.1) points (all P < 0.05).In Group B,the VAS was decreased significantly from (6.8 ± 0.8) points preoperatively to (0.9 ± 0.8) points at final follow-up,ASES score was improved from (40.7 ± 2.5) points to (89.5 ± 3.2) points,and Constant score was improved from (56.0 ± 4.5) points to (89.3 ± 3.4) points (all P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the clinical outcomes between the two groups (P > 0.05).The retear rate in Group B was 20% (3/15),while no retear was presented in Group A (P < 0.05).Conclusion Arthroscopic modified suture bridge technique and single-row modified Mason-Allen technique are both clinically effective for function recovery and pain relief in patients with supraspinatus tendon tears,but the former associated with lower incidence of tendon re-tear is preferred for moderate to large rotator cuff injury or rotator cuff injury with large insertion avulsion.

Objective To analyze the imaging characteristics and to evaluate the application value of color doppler ultrasonography (CDUS)combined with CT angiography (CTA)and contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance angiography (CE-MRA)in patients with cervical vertigo.Methods 62 patients diagnosed with cervical vertigo clinically were enrolled.Neck CDUS and neck CTA were per-formed on 39 patients.Neck CDUS and neck CE-MRA were performed on 23 patients.Neck CDUS and CTA/MRA were performed on 30 normal volunteers,which were chosen as control group.Neck CDUS and neck CTA were performed on 18 normal volunteers. Neck CDUS and neck CE-MRA were performed on 12 normal volunteers.Hemodynamics and morphology were evaluated and com-pared between the two groups.Results In aspect of morphology:The incidence of vertebral artery (VA)stenosis (46.77%)and VA variation (29.03%)in cervical vertigo group were higher than VA stenosis (23.33%)and VA variation (6.67%)in control group with significant difference (all P 0.05).In aspect of hemodynamics:The decline incidence of peak systolic velocity de-tected by CDUS in cervical vertigo group (66.13%)was higher than that in control group (10.00%)with statistically significant difference (P <0.05).The peak systolic velocity decline incidence of VA stenosis (86.21% )and VA variation (72.22%)were high-er than that of VA tortuous (28.57%)and VA normal (12.50%)patients in cervical vertigo group.Conclusion The application of CDUS combined with CTA or CE-MRA could provide valuable diagnostic and therapeutic information for cervical vertigo in the as-pects of change in vascular morphology and cerebral hemodynamics,which could further provide objective basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment.

OBJECTIVE:To compare the clinical efficacy and safety of Shexiang baoxin pills and Shensong yangsin capsules in the treatment of coronary heart disease complicated with chronic heart failure and premature ventricular contractions. METHODS:129 patients with chronic heart failure and premature ventricular contractions were randomly divided into blank group(n=43),ob-servation group(n=43)and control group(n=43). All groups received routine treatment as oxygen inhalation,diuretics. Control group additionally received Shensong yangsin capsules 4 pills for 3 times per day. Observation group additionally received Shexiang baoxin pills 2 pills for 3 times per day. Treatment course of 2 groups lasted for 3 months. Clinical efficacies of 2 groups were ob-served,and heart function,cardiovascular autonomic nervous function and vascular endothelial function were observed before and after treatment. RESULTS:Total effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group(P0.05). LVEF, NO of observation group were significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.05),IVST,LVDd,LVPWT,ET of observation group were significantly lower than that of control group(P<0.05). But control group and observation group were better than the blank group,and no obvious adverse reaction. CONCLUSIONS:Shexiang baoxin pills is more effective than Shensong yangsin cap-sules in the treatment of coronary heart disease complicated with chronic heart failure and premature ventricular contractions.

OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Mailuoning injection in the treatment of acute bronchial asthma. METHODS:92 patients with acute bronchial asthma were randomly divided into control group and observation group. Pa-tients in control groups were received routine treatment,including oxygen inhalation,glucocorticoid,β2 agonists,aminophylline and anti-infection,etc. Patients in observation group were added Mailuoning injection 20 ml adding into 5% glucose injection or 0.9% sodium chloride injection 500 ml by intravenous infusion,once a day,based on the treatment of control group. The course was 14 d. The clinical data was observed,including clinical efficacy,hemorheology indicators,pulmonary function,6-keto-PGF1αlevel and incidence of adverse reactions before and after treatment. RESULTS:The total effective rate in observation group was sig-nificantly higher than control group,with significant difference(P<0.05). After treatment,the hemorheology indicators,lung func-tion indicators and 6-keto-PGF1α level in 2 groups were significantly better than before,and observation group was better than con-trol group,with significant difference(P<0.05). There were no obvious adverse reactions. CONCLUSIONS:Routine treatment combined with Mailuoning injection can effectively improve the efficacy of acute bronchial asthma with good safety.

Objective To explore the influence of Helicobacter pylori (Hp) infection in serum lipoprotein associated phospholipase A2 (Lp-PLA2), carotid intima-media thickness and stability of atherosclerotic plaques in atherosclerosis patients.Methods A total of 393 cases of patients with carotid artery arteriosclerosis confirmed by carotid color uhrasonography, who are informed consent, was selected as objects.The14C urea breath test was used to determine the infection situation of selected objects of helicobacter pylori.Meanwhile, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to determine the level of serum lipoprotein associated phospholipase A2 (Lp-PLA2).Results Serum Lp-PLA2 levels and carotid intimamedia thickness (IMT) of patients with carotid artery atherosclerosis in Hp infection group were higher than that of Hp non-infection group, and with the degree of Hp infection aggravating in the patients of carotid artery atherosclerosis, their serum Lp-PLA2 levels and carotid IMT were also increased accordingly.F test showed that the differences of serum Lp-PLA2 levels and carotid IMT in different degree of carotid artery atherosclerosis group were statistically significant (P <0.01).The incidence of unstable plaque of Hp infection group was obviously higher than that of the Hp non-infection group in the carotid atherosclerosis with plaques with statistical significance (chi square value =4.744, P =0.029).Multivariate linear regression analysis showed that the possibility of complication of unstable plaques in Hp infection group of carotid artery atherosclerosis was 1.82 times than that of non-infection group.With serum Lp-PLA2 every increasing 1 μg/L, the possibility of instability plaque increased by 2%.Conclusions Hp infection may promote the occurrence and development of carotid artery atherosclerosis by increasing serum level of Lp-PLA2 and changing the stability of atherosclerotic plaques.

Objective To analyze the correlation between functional single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs)in TYMS gene and the prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC)patients treated with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE).Methods Five functional SNPs in TYMS gene were genotyped in a cohort of 41 9 unresectable Chinese HCC patients treated with TACE and prognosis analysis was performed.Results No SNP significantly associated with OS of HCC,but in patients with only TACE treat-ment,SNPs rs523230 exhibited significant associations with death risk in HCC patients under the additive model.Patients over 60 years old,SNP rs9967368 exhibited significant associations with death risk in HCC patients under the recessive model.Conclusion Genetic variations in TYMS gene may be a potential biomarker for predicting clinical outcome of HCC patients treated with TACE.

METHODS:112 children with acute suppurative tonsillitis were randomly divided into control group and observation group. Control group was treated with Amoxicillin clavulanate potassium for injection 30 mg/kg,twice a day;based on the treat-ment of control group,observation group was treated with Children resuqing oral lipid,1/4-1/2 bag for 0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Based on the treatment of Amoxicillin clavulanate potassium for injection,Children resuqing oral lipid has better efficacy and safety in the treatment of acute suppurative tonsillitis.

Objective To assess the association between polymorphisms in HIF1α gene and prognosis of advanced hepatocelluar carcinoma.Methods We collected prognosis data from a cohort of 448 advanced HCC patients treated by transarterial chemoembo-lisation,and used 5ml peripheral blood from patients for extraction DNA.Three SNPs (rs2301 1 13、rs2057482 and rs1 957757 )in HIF1αgene were selected and genotyped.Multivariate Cox proportional hazards model,Kaplan-Meier curve and log-rank test were used for prognosis analyses.Results The variant-containing genotypes (WV+VV)of SNP rs2301 1 13 exhibited a significant associ-ation with a better overall survival in HCC patients who had tumor size smaller than 5 cm (hazard ratio [HR],0.58,95% confidence interval [CI],0.35-0.96,P =0.036).In the patients taken single tumor subgroup,the variant-containing genotypes (WV+VV) of SNP rs2301 1 13 exhibited a significant association with a better overall survival (log-rank P =0.048),comparing to those carrying wild-type genotype.Conclusion Our results suggest that polymorphisms in HIF1αgene may serve as an independent prognosis bio-marker for advanced HCC patient.

Objective To study the effect of solution focused theory on improving the sleep quality of ACS patients with clinical pathway.Methods 100 ACS patients with clinical pathway in Tangshan Gongren hospital from September 2010 to January 2011 were selected as study objects,and they were randomly divided into the control group(51 cases)and the intervention group(49 cases).Then the sleep quality was assessed during the first 24 hours being admitted and on the second and forth week after the intervention with the Athens Insomnia Scale(ASI).Results At the second week after intervention,4 items of the ASI Score of the observation group were different from the control group significantly.The 4 items were nighttime sleep disruption,waking up early,evaluation of total sleep quality,effect on the day of emotion.On the forth week after intervention,only the item of effects on daytime function was not different from the control group significantly,the scores of other 7 items were significantly different from those of the observation group.Conclusions The effect of solution focused theory in improving the sleep quality of ACS patients with clinical pathway is significant,and it plays an active role in improving the state of disease.

Objective To discuss the feasibility and curative effect of intra-radiation stenting(125Iparticle stent)for the treatment of advanced esophageal cancers.Methods Fifteen patients with advanced esophageal cancer were enrolled in this study.Under X-ray guidance the esophageal stent,which was tied up with 125I radioactive particles,was orally inserted to the diseased region of the esophagus.The clinical manifestations and imaging findings were observed and the results were analyzed.Results After the operation all the clinical symptoms such as dysphasia showed an obvious improvement.No serious complications such as infection,hemorrhage,radiation pneumonia,etc.Occurred.The re-examination at 3-6 months after the treatment showed that the tumor size Was decreased in a certain degree in 14 patients,and in the remaining one patient the lesion became bigger and grew to the upper opening of the stent,resulting in esophageal restenosis.Conclusion The intra-esophageal implantation of radioactive stent is a feasible and safe treatment for the advanced esophageal cancers with excellent curative results.

Objective To evaluate the effects of interventional thermotherapy(60℃)via hepatic artery on the vascular permeability of hepatic tumor tissue and normal liver tissue in VX2 tumor-bearing rabbits.Methods Thirty white rabbits were used in this experiment,Thirty VX2 tumor-bearing rabbits models were established by direct injection of VX2 tissue particle into the liver parenchyma and were randomly and equally divided into three groups:(1)non-perfusion group(n=10),used as control group; (2)normal thermal perfusion group(n=10),a perfusion of 30ml saline at 37 4±0.5℃ via hepatic artery in 15 minutes was used;(3)hyper-thermai perfusion group(n=10),a perfusion of 30ml saline at 60±0.5℃via hepatic artery in 15 minutes was used.The vascular permeability of the tumor tissue and the normal liver tissue was estimated with Evan's blue method.Results In all three groups the vascular permeability was significantly incleased in tumor tissue than that in normal liver tissue(P<0.05).Normal thermal perfusion resulted in a significant increase in the permeability of vasculature(JP>0.05).Hyper-thermal peffusion resulted in a significant increase in vascular permeability of tumor tissue (P<0.05),and vascular permeability was increased in tumor tissue mole markedly than that in normal tissue(P<0.05).Conclusion Hyperthermia hepatic arterial perfusion can increase vascular permeability for both tumor tissue and normal tissue in VX2 tumor-bearing rabbits.

Objective To establish a suitable and stable metastatic rabbit VX2 liver tumor model for the use in experimental study,to discuss the successful rate of different tumor transplanting methods,and to analyze the digital subtract angiography(DSA)imagining features of the transplanted liver tumor.Methods Sixty male New Zealand white rabbits were randomly and equally divided into 3 groups with 20 rabbits in each group.For the rabbits of two groups,receiving injection methods and used as control groups,VX2 carcinoma particle(containing about 5×107 carcinoma cells) was inoculated into the left hepatic lobe through injection via hepatic artery or through direct injection with a syringe needle.For the rabbits in the retrofit group tumor tissue particle(containing about 106-108 carcinoma cells)was directly transplanted into liver through puncturing of the Glisson's capsule.The observation included the following two respects. (1)The tumor's survival rate of the three groups was evaluated.(2)The DSA imaging feature of the transplanted tumor was observed.Results The survival rate of the transplanted tumor in three groups was 7/20,10/20 and 19/20 respectively,with the survival rate of the retrofit group being the highest in 3 groups(P<0.05).On DSA the transplanted tumors were rich in blood supplying.Conclusion For the establishment of rabbit VX2 liver carcinoma model,the direct transplantation of the tumor tissue particle is obviously superior to the injection method(direct injection or through hepatic arterial injection)in obtaining higher successful rate.This technique provides clinical and fundamental liver cancer studies with a reliable,stable and mature tumor animal model.

Objective To establish a rabbit VX2 liver tumor model by transplanting tumor tissue mass into the rabbit's liver,to analyze and observe the growing features of the liver tumor.Methods The tumor tissue mass(about 106-108 VX2 liver tumor cells)was inoculated into the left hepatic labe in 20 rabbits to establish rabbit VX-2 hepatic carcinoma model.The observation included the following two respects.(1)The tumor's volume at 7,10,14,17 and 21 days after the procedure was measured by ultrasonography and the growth rate of tumor was calculated.(2)The morphological feature of the tumor was inspected both macroscopically and microscopically.Results The growing pattern of the tumor was compatible with the exponential curve.Seventeen days after transplantation the increase rate of the tumor volume was much higher than that of the tumor diameter. Histopathologjcally,the growing pattern of the tumor took the form of infiltrative way,with its appearance being quite similar to the VX2 squamous cell carcinoma.Conclusion Transplantation of tumor tissue mass is the technique of first choice to establish the VX2 liver carcinoma model in rabbits.This experimental model is a very ideal animal form for both clinical and fundamental studies of liver carcinoma.
