The relationship between serum thyroid hormone level and prognosis after cerebral infarction / 实用医学杂志

Objective To investigate the relationship between serum thyroid hormone level and prognosis after cerebral infarction.Methods Serum thyroid hormone level was determined in 88 patients with partial anteri-or circulation infarction(PACI)and large artery atherosclerotic(LAA)cerebral infarction.After 6-months rehabili-tation,the difference of serum thyroid hormone level was compared among all groups. Results Significant differ-ences of serum free triiodothyronine(FT3)were observed in patients with different prognosis(P < 0.01). Signifi-cant correlation was found between the low level FT3and the good prognosis(P < 0.01). Conclusions The de-crease of serum thyroid hormone level after cerebral infarction is protective,and the FT3level is negatively correlat-ed with the prognosis of patients with cerebral infarction.

Study on the Content of Alkaloids and Polysaccharide in Different Varieties of Aconitum carmichaeli / 中国药房

OBJECTIVE: To research the content of alkaloids and polysaccharides in different varieties of Aconitum carmichaeli. METHODS: The contents of total alkaloids, diester diterpenoid alkaloids and polysaccharides were measured by acid dye colorimetry, HPLC and sulphuric acid-anthrone colorimetric method respectively. RESULTS: In different varieties, the differences of total alkaloids and diester diterpenoid alkaloids were significant. However, the difference of polysaccharides wasn’t significant. The content of total alkaloids and diester diterpenoid alkaloids in processed A. carmichaeli reduced significantly while the content of polysaccharides increased slightly. CONCLUSION: The results of study could provide a scientific basis for rational breeding of A. carmichaeli.
