RÉSUMÉ

The present study investigated the chemical constituents of Caesalpinia decapetala in the Fabaceae family. The chemical constituents were isolated and purified by chromatographies with silica gel, RP-C_(18), Sephadex LH-20, and preparative HPLC, and their structures were determined based on the spectroscopic data and physicochemical properties, as well as relevant references. Three pairs of new dibenzoxocin derivatives were isolated from 70% ethanol extract of C. decapetala and identified as protosappanoside A(1 a), isoprotosappanoside A(1 b), protosappanoside B(2 a), isoprotosappanoside B(2 b), protosappanoside C(3 a), and isoprotosappanoside C(3 b), respectively.

RÉSUMÉ

Gap junction (GJ), which mainly consists of connexins, is a linking method between neighboring cells. Neighboring cells exchange substances, energy and information by gap junction intercellular communication mediated by GJ. Particularly, Cx43 protein is one of the most important members of Cx family. The study in recent years demonstrated the features of Cx43 protein and its important roles in the pathogenesis of neurological disorders, tumors, cardiovascular risks. This article summarizes the structure, functions, coding gene, structure analysis, synthesis, membrane localization, regulation of Cx43. Furthermore, this article explains the physiological functions of Cx43 in human bodies and its important roles in the pathogenesis of related neurological disorders.

RÉSUMÉ

Chemical constituents from the ethanol extract of Radix Angelicae Pubescentis was isolated and purified through Diaion HP-20 macroporous, silica gel column chromatography, gel filtration over Sephadex LH-20 and preparative HPLC. Two new sesquiterpenoid derivatives were identified as angesesquid A (1) and angesesquid B (2), and their structures were determined. In vitro degeneration model of primary rat disc chondrocytes was used to evaluate the anti-inflammatory activity of these two compounds. The results showed that compounds 1 and 2 had no anti-proliferation effect. Both compounds inhibited the release of NO, but had no inhibitory activity for the release of PGE2. This finding implies that both of these two new sesquiterpenoids could moderately inhibit the inflammatory reaction to some extent.

RÉSUMÉ

Objective To study the antibacterial components of chloroform and ethyl acetate extracts of the traditional Chinese medicine Artemísia anómala S. Moore. Methods The chloroform and ethyl acetate extracts of Artemísia anómala S. Moore was isolated by silica gel column chromatography. The antibiotic tests of the different isolated fractions in vilro were performed by using Kriby-Bauer method and broth dilution method. The compound structures of the significantly active components were identified by the method of chemical colored-reaction and spectrum analysis. Results Multiple components of chloroform and ethyl acetate extracts of Artemísia anómala had different degrees of antibacterial activities for common pathogenic strains in clinic. The structures of significantly active components were identified as: apigenin, eupatilin, and caffeic acid; eupatilin had the strongest antimicrobial activity for Standard Slaphylococcus aureus (ATCC25923) and Standard Staphylococcus aureua (ATCC29213), with the minimal bactericidal concentrations being both 0. 062 5 mg/mL. Conelusion The proposcd method in the present study is simple and quick; it can aceurately and cffectively obtain the antibacterial components of the chloroform and ethyl acetate extracts of Artemísia anómala. This study is the first to report the antibacterial activity of eupatilin.

RÉSUMÉ

OBJECTIVE: To establish the reference standard of melatonin. METHODS: The structure of the reference standard was identified by UV, IR, NMR, and ESI-MS spectrophotometry. The purity was calculated by normalization method and self-contrasted dilution method. Furthermore, loss on drying, residue on ignition, and hygroscopicity were tested. RESULTS: The purity was 99.8% by normalization method and self-contrasted dilution method. COCLUSION: The establishment of reference standards of melatonin can efficiently control the addtion of melatonin into lunctional foods.

Objective:To analyze and determine the main component in volatilization oil which is extracted from the Chinese herbal medicine Kaempferia galanga L.Methods:Volatilization oil is obtained by steam-distillation from commercial available Kaempferia galanga L..After re-crystallization,GC-MS,UV-Vis,NMR,IR were processed for analysis and structure determination. Results:The m/z=205 peak in MS represents the quasi-molecular ion peak. The strongest absorption peak at 304nm in UV-Vis shows that there is big conjugated system in the molecule.Along with the data of chemical shifts and coupling constants of 1H-NMR,13C-NMR and wave numbers of IR absorption peaks, the main ingredient of Kaempferia galanga L.volatilization oil is verified as ethyl 3-(4-methoxyphenyl)-(E)-acrylate.Conclusion:We have employed advanced methods in separation and analysis in the determination of structure of the main ingredient in volatilization oil extracted from Kaempferia galanga L.and get detailed data to support the results, the methods are reliable and the results are dependable.
