RESUMO

OBJECTIVE:To systematically assess the effect of blood flow restriction combined with endurance training on aerobic capacity, lower limb muscle strength, and sports performance of athletes using Meta-analysis. METHODS:3210 studies were searched in CNKI,VIP,WanFang,PubMed,Embase,Web of Science,ScienceDirect, and Cochrane databases before March 2023.After screening,12 studies and 14 research reports were included. The traditional Meta-analysis and network Meta-analysis were performed by Review Manager 5.4 and Stata 14. RESULTS:Endurance training with blood flow restriction had a medium effect size on maximal oxygen uptake(standardized mean difference(SMD)=0.59,95%confidence interval(CI):0.28-0.90,P<0.05)and no heterogeneity. The effect of continuous pressure was better than the other pressure types(P<0.05).Compared with sports events by anaerobic energy supply, sports events by aerobic energy supply showed better effects(P<0.05),which was set as follows:4-8 weeks of aerobic training,20-30 minutes once,3 or more sessions per week, for a total of 12 or more sessions.Secondly, endurance training with blood flow restriction showed a large effect on the lower limb muscle strength(SMD=0.99,95%CI:0.61-1.37,P<0.05)and no heterogeneity.A subgroup analysis showed muscle endurance was the best improved(SMD=1.11;95%CI:0.37-1.85),followed by knee extension strength(SMD=1.02,95%CI:0.37-1.67)and knee flexion strength(SMD=0.87,95%CI:0.24-1.51).Finally,endurance training with blood flow restriction showed a medium effect on sports performance(SMD=0.59,95%CI:0.13-1.06,P<0.05),and the subgroup analysis showed a medium effect on running performance(SMD=0.55,95%CI:0.05-1.06,P<0.05)and no heterogeneity. There was only one item of soccer specific performance that was not analyzed. CONCLUSION:Endurance training combined with blood flow restriction can improve the aerobic capacity, lower limb muscle strength, and sports performance of the athletes. And there is a large effect on lower limb muscle strength and a medium effect on aerobic capacity and sports performance.A training schedule of progressive mixed-intensity aerobic endurance training under continuous pressure for no less than 4 weeks,3 sessions per week,20-30 minutes per session, for 12 or more sessions in total is easy to obtain better training results.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the relationship between overweight, obesity and acute mountain sickness(AMS).Methods We searched the WanFang,CNKI,VIP,PubMed,Embase,Springer,Google Scholar,Cochrane databases.AMS,acute high altitude disease, acute high altitude disease (AHAD),hypoxic ventilatory response (HVR),obese, obesity,BMI,Body Mass Index, cohort study,case-control study,cross-sectional study and observational study were used to search literatures which studied association between overweight, obesity and AMS during 2007-2016.Literatures were then evaluated by two evaluators.RevMan 5.3 software was utilized for statistical analysis. Results Six articles with 6323 cases were included in the study. The heterogeneity test result revealed that included studies were statistically heterogeneous (I2 =93%,P < 0.01),therefore,the random effect model was used to analyze.Obesity and overweight significantly increased the occurrence of AMS with an OR of 2.39 (95% CI:1.21-4.70).Egger's test indicated that there was no publication bias (P > 0.05).Conclusion Overweight and obesity can be used as predictors of occurrence for AMS.

RESUMO

ObjectiveTo analyze the serum creatinine level among apparently healthy primary and secondary school students in Inner Mongolia and explore the distribution of serum creatinine by ethnic, regional, gender and age,and establish the reference interval of serum creatinine in different gender and different age groups of primary and secondary school students.MethodsLargesample clinical epidemiological investigation was applied by two-stage clustering sampling method.Random sample of 2630 primary and secondary school students from 9 to 18-year-old was selected from four district in Inner Mongolia including Hohhot,Wulanchabu,Xilin Gol and Bayan Drow from July 2009 to June 2010.After screening outlier individual, the total of 2614 subjects were enrolled, involving 1288 male and 1326 female subjects,1584 Han and1030 Mongolian. The venous blood was collected and serum was separated. The serum creatinine concentration was measured as soon as possible.Furthermore, creatinine levels of different regions, ethnic, gender and age group were compared by analysis of variance or t-test and that of different group were compared by SNK method.Percentile was used to describe the distribution of serum Cr level of different age groups. The reference interval of serum Cr for primary and secondary school students were established by gender and age (P2.5 -P97.5 ).The curve was smoothed using age-specific percentile ( LMS )curve smoothing method.ResultsThe differences of Cr levels were statistically significant between different regions, ethnic, gender and age groups. The reference intervals of creatinine for 9 - 11,12,13 - 14,15,and 16 - 18 year-old males were 35 - 66,37 - 73,39 - 78,47 - 87 and 49 - 91 μmol/L,respectively.The intervals for 9 - 10,11 - 12,13 - 15,and 16 - 18 year-old females were 32 - 60,34 - 63,38 -73 and 40 -74 μmol/L,respectively.Conclusion The reference intervals of serum creatinine for health primary and secondary school students in the Inner Mongolia is established, which is useful for clinicians, especially pediatricians to judge and assess renal function for 9 to 18 year-old patients.( Chin J Lab Med,2012,35:805-809 )

RESUMO

BACKGROUND:High pulse pressure is the signal of arteriosclerosis or cardiovascular diseases for both hypertension and normal blood pressure population.OBJECTIVE:The pulse pressure and related factors of healthy adults in Sichuan province were analyzed to explore the method for preventing excessive pulse pressure and improving the quailty of life.METHODS:Hierarchical, cluster sampling were performed in 1989 healthy adults. The physical examination, blood glucose, renal function and blood fat were detected, and the relation of pulse pressure and its related factors were analyzed.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Pulse pressure increased following the age.especially showed a linear increasing in those who more than 50-year-old The increased pulse pressure leaded to larger fasting plasma glucose, uric acid, blood urea nitrogen, total cholesterol, triacylglycerol, systolic pressure and diastolic pressure,in addition, the age, body mass index,waist-to-hip ratio, triacylglycerol and pulse pressure showed a linear relationship. But physical exercise was negative correlated to pulse pressure. With pulse pressure increasing, the renal function and regulating capacity of blood glucose was decreased The results suggested that mid-aged population should take reasonable diet and more physical exercise to prevent central obesity and excessive pulse pressure, reduce the risk of renal dysfunction and the incidence of cardiovascular disease.

RESUMO

Objective To study the pattern of ultrasonic bone mineral density of calcaneus with age, height and body weight, and to establish a normal reference value of stiffness index (SI) of females in Southern China for providing scientific foundation for osteoporotic diagnosis and prevention. Methods SI for calcaneus in 2498 healthy people 10~87 years old was measured with Achilles Express ultrasound apparatus made in USA. They were divided into groups according to sex and age. One group for 10 years each and the records beyond 69 years were classified into one group, total 7 groups. Results The SI showed a characteristic mild rise-then-fall pattern with increasing age. And the peak value of SI presented in 20~29 age group. Pearson correlation analysis showed negative correlation between SI and age and a positive correlation between SI/ height and weight. The prevalence of osteoporosis gradually increase with age. Conclusion There are significant correlations in SI with age, height and weight; the values of SI will provide an important data reference to establish the normal values and diagnostic]standard of osteoporosis.
