RESUMO
OBJECTIVE@#To explore the association between depressive symptoms and the risks of rapid decline in renal function and chronic kidney disease (CKD) in middle-aged and elderly with normal kidney function.@*METHODS@#The residents aged 40- 75 years with eGFR≥60 mL·min-1·1.73 m-2 without proteinuria in Lanzhou region, who participated in the "REACTION" study carried out in 2011, were selected and followed up in 2014. A total of 4961 individuals with complete and qualified data from the two surveys were included in the subsequent analysis. Based on PHQ-9 questionnaire scores, the baseline population was divided into two groups with and without depressive symptoms. Cox proportional hazard analysis was used to compare the incidences of rapid renal function decline and CKD between the two groups and study the association of depressive symptoms with the risk of these renal conditions.@*RESULTS@#PHQ-9 questionnaire scores were not found to correlate with baseline SCr, ALB, UACR or eGFR levels among the participarts (P>0.05). After a mean follow-up time of 3.4±0.6 years, 33.9% of the participants with depressive symptoms at baseline experienced a rapid decline in renal function and 3.6% progressed to CKD. During the follow-up, the incidence of rapid decline in renal function and the risk of developing CKD were not found to correlate with depressive symptoms in these participants (P>0.05) regardless of the type of the depressive syndromes.@*CONCLUSION@#Depressive symptoms are not associated with the risks of rapid renal function decline or progression to CKD in middle-aged and elderly with normal kidney function.

@#AIM: To evaluate the incidence of supraciliochoroidal fluid(SCF)within 1wk after phacoemulsification combined with goniosynechialysis by anterior segment optical coherence tomography(AS-OCT). <p>METHODS: AS-OCT was used to analyze the incidence of SCF in 40 eyes of 40 patients who received phacoemulsification combined with goniosynechialysis from January 2016 to June 2017. All the patients were diagnosed with primary acute angle-closure glaucoma(PACG)along with cataract. Patients with SCF occurring in 1wk after surgery were included in the SCF group(10 cases with 10 eyes), and patients without SCF were included in the non-occurrence SCF group(30 cases with 30 eyes). Data of intraocular pressure(IOP), central depth of anterior chamber, central macular thickness(CMT), and best corrected visual acuity(BCVA)were collected to further analysis. <p>RESULTS: All the 40 eyes displayed no SCF before surgery. SCF was detected in 10 eyes(25%), which first occurred on 1d(2 eyes), 3d(7 eyes), and 1wk(1 eye)within 1wk postoperatively. SCF was detected in four(7 eyes), two(2 eyes), and one quadrant(1 eye). The whole 10 eyes showed grade Ⅰ(8 eyes)or grade Ⅱ detachment(2 eyes), with no eyes showing grade Ⅲ detachment. Nine eyes had showed no SCF by 4wk, and all SCF disappeared on 8wk. The lowest IOP was significantly lower in eyes with SCF(8.9±0.9mmHg)than in those without(12.5±2.6mmHg)(<i>P</i><0.001). The IOP rose from 10.0±1.2mmHg at the detection of SCF to 14.3±1.5mmHg at the disappearance of SCF(<i>P</i><0.001). BCVA(LogMAR)showed significant positive correlation with central macula thickness(CMT)on postoperatively 8wk(<i>r</i>s=0.838, <i>P</i><0.001). <p>CONCLUSION: SCF can be detected frequently with AS-OCT at the very early stages after phacoemulsification combined with goniosynechialysis(within 1wk postoperatively), which has fine clinical value.
RESUMO
Objective To evaluate the effects of health promoting in farmers ' market,in order to provide evidence for effective intervention. Methods Comprehensive intervention trials with 2 - year follow-up were conducted in farmers ' markets of Hangzhou city, and all the individual enterprises were investigated by questionnaires. The environment of market and files were also inspected. Results After intervention, the environment of markets were improved. compared to the baseline, qualification rates of products all improved significantly(p<0. 01). The knowledge about food safety regulations, labels, prevention of intestinal infectious disease, harm of expired vegetables and treatment with expired food and prohibited food were widely informed( p <0. 01 ). The poultry salesmen had a growing awareness of avian influenza A,and they became more professional in protective equipments, disinfecting and hand-washing. Conclusion The health promoting program in farmers' markets has the effect on environment, management of food-safety and the health literacy of individual enterprises.
