RESUMO
Objective@#To investigate the genotypes of enteroviruses causing hand, foot and mouth disease ( HFMD ) in Shaoxing City, so as to provide insights into HFMD control.@*Methods@#The anal and pharyngeal swab specimens were collected from HFMD cases under 14 years of age reported by sentinel hospitals of HFMD in Shaoxing City from 2018 to 2020. The enterovirus genotypes were determined by quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) assay and sequenced by BLAST, and the constitution and temporal distribution of enterovirus genotypes were descriptively analyzed.@*Results@#A total of 1 267 anal and pharyngeal swab specimens were collected from children with HFMD, and 661 specimens were positive for enteroviruses, with a positive rate of 52.17%. Among the 661 enterovirus-positive specimens, 70 specimens were tested positive for EV71 ( 5.52% ), 208 specimens tested positive for CoxA16 ( 16.42% ), 239 specimens tested positive for CoxA6 ( 18.86% ); 23 specimens tested positive for CoxA10 (1.82%), and 121 specimens tested positive for other 10 genotypes, including CoxA2, CoxA4, and CoxA5. The prevalence rates of EV71 were 14.08%, 0.72% and 1.84% from 2018 to 2020, and the detection of EV71 peaked during the period between April and July, 2018. The prevalence rates of CoxA16 were 10.98%, 26.57% and 11.98 from 2018 to 2020, and the detection of CoxA16 peaked during the period between April and August, and between November and December, 2019. The prevalence rates of CoxA6 were 10.50%, 14.73% and 30.88% from 2018 to 2020, and the detection of CoxA6 peaked during the period between May and December, 2020.@*Conclusions@#EV71, CoxA16 and CoxA6 were predominant enterovirus genotypes causing HFMD in Shaoxing City from 2018 to 2020, and the detection of CoxA6 appeared a tendency towards a rise.
RESUMO
[Abstract ] Objective To compare the accuracy between regular computed tomography colonography (CTC)and dual-energy CTC in lesion detection. Methods Twenty-eight patients with clinical suspicious space occupying lesions of the colon were selected. All patients were underwent dual-energy mode contrast-enhanced CT scan and the data were reconstructed with colonography and dual-energy iodine maps methods. The diameter, enhanced computed tomography (CT)value and iodine value were measured. The results of colonoscopy and pathology were taken as gold standard. The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of regular CTC and dual-energy CTC were compared.Variance analysis was performed for measurement data comparison among groups and chi-square test was used for count data analysis. Results Among 28 patients, colorectal lesions were detected in 24 cases by regular CTC,of which four cases were false-positive and one case was false-negative confirmed by colonoscopy and pathology.Colorectal lesions were detected in 20 cases by dual-energy CTC,of which no false-positive and one case was false negative confirmed by colonoscopy and pathology. The contrast enhanced CT value of polyps, adenoma, adenocarcinoma and stool was (38.54± 6.82),(49.16±7.31 ),(52.61 ±5 .93 )and (34.00±1 .41 )Hu,respectively. The enhanced value of adenoma and adenocarcinoma was significantly higher than that of polyps and stool, the differences were statistically significant among groups (F = 10.760,P = 0.001 ).There was no significant difference between polyps and stool (t=1 .44,P =0.188).The sensitivity of regular CTC and dual-energy CTC in lesion detection was 95 .6% (95 %cofidence interval(CI ):77.9%-99.2%)and 95 .6% (95 %CI :77.9%-99.2%),respectively.The specificity was 42.8% (95 %CI :15 .4%-93.5 %)and 100.0% (95 %CI :47.9%-100.0%).Conclusion Compared with traditional CTC,dual-energy CTC would distinguish lesions from stool, help differentiate between benign and malignant tumors and further increase the accuracy of CTC diagnosis.
RESUMO
BACKGROUND: The initial stability of implantable distractor depends on the stress distribution of bone-distractor interface. The understanding of the biomechanical change in initial stage can improve the clinical success ratio of implantable distractor used in alveolar crest.OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the influence of bone quality on stress distribution and deformation in initial distraction stage.METHODS: Four three-dimensional models with 10 079-11 456 cells and 17 299-20 101 nodes were prepared by finite element methods (11 mm in length and 3.7-4.1 mm diameter). Implantable distractor was embedded in a segment of mandible. The elastic modulus of cancellous bone and the thickness of cortical bone, stress and deformation of bones and distractor were calculated.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The highest stress in the bone was concentrated in transportable section and the maximum deformation of transportable section was observed at the edge of the cortical bone, both of which were increased with bone quality decreased. The subsidence of distractor was observed with bone quality decreased. Bone quality influenced the initial stability and the result of the implantal distraction. The decrease of bone elastic modulus would increase the failure risk of distraction osteogenisis.
RESUMO
BACKGROUND: The finite element method has been wildly used in stomatology, but, the modeling methods and models were different and lack of standard. There is not biomechanical analysis software which specialized indental implantology.OBJECTIVE: To compile software that can generate alveoli-implant complex finite element models.METHODS: Based on PC,CAD,finite element analysis, database and electronic table software, software that includes the functions of modeling, database and assembles was programmed using Visual Basic for Application programming language.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Various kinds of alveoli-implant models could obtain though the software.A software package that can generate alveoli-implant finite element models rapidly and automatically could be compiled with the complex of AutoDesk Mechanical Desktop 2009DX,ANSYS Workbench 10.1 and Visual Basic for Application.
RESUMO
BACKGROUND:Using Twin-block appliance to treat mandibular retrusion, the mandible position changes greatly. The influence of this change on temporomadibular joint and the effect of Twin-block appliance on condylar growth remain unclear.OBJECTIVE:To observe the effect of Twin-block appliance on condylar process location during mandible forward positioning.PARTICIPANTS:A total of 20 patients with mandible retraction (Angel Ⅱ) malocclusion were selected from Department of Stomatology,First Sanatorium of Qingdao,Jinan Military Area Command of Chinese PLA,comprising 13 males and 7 females, aged 10.8 years (range 9-13 years). All patients were treated with Twin-block appliance.Four median joint pantomograms were taken before treatment,1 week after treatment,1 week and 1 year after treatment finish to measure the condylar process location.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:In all cases, neutroclusion were obtained. No clicking, pain or other temporomadibular joint symptoms were observed. The condylar process position altered significantly. The anterior space distance was decreased, the superior space distance was increased, and posterior space was enlarged (P<0.05-0.01),i.e.condylar process moved downward and forward. The condylar process position was consistent with preoperative, and joint superior, anterior and posterior space distributed balancedly.Twin-block appliance could restore normal and harmonious process-fossa relationship through growth remodeling, but maintenance is necessary till the remodeling accomplish.
