RESUMO
Objective@#To evaluate the effect of different insertion angles on the osseointegration of loaded microscrews in beagle jaws.@*Methods@#Forty-eight microscrews were inserted at four different angles (30°, 50°, 70° and 90°) into the interradicular zones between the mandibular first molar and third premolar in twelve beagles and the microscrews had been loaded with a force of 2 N immediately for 8 weeks. After microscrew-bone specimens fixed, the maximum output value (Fmax) of pull-out test was recorded and the histomorphological changes of hard tissue were observed. The bone-implant contact (BIC%) was quantitatively analyzed and the osseointegration of microscrew-bone interface was comprehensively evaluated.@*Results@#Both Fmax and BIC% values of microscrews were influenced by the insertion angles. The maximum value of Fmax was (385±23) N in the group with 50° angle, and the minimum value was (198±16) N in the group with 30° angle(P <0.05). The maximum value of BIC% was (59.1±6.0)% in the group with 70° angle, and the minimum value was (30.2±3.2)% in the group with 30° angle (P <0.05). Histomorphology observation revealed that in peri-screws region, the various degree of bone remodeling was found in different angle samples.@*Conclusions@#The insertion angles (50°and 70°) were favorable to the stability of the microscrew.
RESUMO
Aim To establish a co-incubation system in cardiac fibroblasts of SD neonatal rats and spleen CD4+ CD25 + regulatory T lymphocytes (Tregs) of normal adult SD rats, and to investigate the effects of eplerenone(EPL) on the interaction of two cells and the relationship with the Kvl.3 channel on Tregs cell membrane. Methods The spleen Tregs of normal adult SD rats were sorted by immunomagnetic bead sorting, and the myocardial fibroblasts of SD rats were isolated by differential adherence method. The experiment was conducted in the following groups:CFs,CFs + Tregs,CFs + Tregs + EPL,Tregs. The proliferation of CFs was detected by CCK-8 method. The expression levels of type Ⅰ collagen, type m collagen and matrix metalloproteinase 2 (MMP-2) secreted by CFs were detected by ELISA.The mRNA expression levels of Kv1.3,KCa3.1 on Tregs cell membrane and intracellular CRAC channel were detected by RT-qPCR technique.Tregs cell membrane Kvl.3 channel protein expression levels were determined by In-Cell Western blot. Results After 48 h incubation of the co-culture system, the cell proliferation was stable.CFs proliferation was marked(P <0.01),which could be inhibited by EPL(P <0.01).The type Ⅰ,type Ⅲ collagen and MMP-2 secreted by CFs increased (P < 0.01).The expression levels of Kv1.3,KCa3.1 and CRAC channel mRNA in Tregs increased by 6.95,1.99 and 1.53 fold (CFs + Tregs vs Tregs,P <0.01),EPL decreased the mRNA level of each channel (CFs +Tregs + EPLvs CFs + Tregs,P<0.01),and the decrease of Kv1.3 channel was the most significant (P < 0.01).The Kv1.3 channel protein of Tregs increased by 67.9% (CFs + Tregs vs Tregs,P <0.01),which could be inhibited by EPL(P < 0.01).Conclusions Tregs cultured with CFs after 48 h can significantly promote the proliferation of CFs,and EPL can down-regulate the Kv1.3 channel expression on the Tregs membrane and inhibit the activation/proliferation of Tregs, indirectly inhibiting myocardial fibrosis.
RESUMO

OBJECTIVETo study the relationship between syndrome type and the parameters of hemorrheology and platelet activation in patients with acute gout arthritis of dampness-heat blockage (DHB) type and stasis-heat accumulation (SHA) type.

METHODSForty patients with acute gouty arthritis were divided into 2 groups according to TCM syndrome differentiation, the DHB group (n=24) and the SHA group (n=16), and 20 healthy people were taken as the control group. Hemorrheological parameters, platelet activating factor (PAC-1) and P-selection (CD62p) in them were detected.

RESULTSPlasma viscosity, outcome of erythrocyte sedimentation and K value of its equation, levels of PAC-1 and CD62p were higher, erythrocyte electrophoresis index was significantly lower in gout patients of both types than those in the control group (all P < 0.01), and the levels of PAC-1 and CD62p in the SHA group were higher than those in the DHB group (P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONDHB type and SHA syndrome type of acute gout arthritis are correlated with parameters of hemorrheology and platelet activation, and the different levels of these pameters showed in the two types, may be the internal factors for their genesis.

OBJECTIVETo study the prevalence and distribution of Tourette syndrome (TS).

METHODSNine thousand, seven hundred and forty-two children and juveniles aged 7 - 16 years in Wenzhou were studied, using cluster random sampling method.

RESULTSThe prevalence of TS among school-age children was estimated to be 0.43% (0.74% for males and 0.07% for females). The prevalence of male children and juveniles was higher than that of female children and juveniles (chi(2) = 25.09, P < 0.001, prevalence ratio = 10.95, prevalence ratio 95% CI: 3.38 - 35.46). The highest prevalence of TS was between 9 - 10 years old. The mean age at onset of TS was 7.7 +/- 2.7 years, with 45.2% of them among 6 - 7 year olds. The rate of delayed diagnosis and rates of misdiagnosis and misclassification of the syndromes were 78.6%, 42.9% and 23.8%, respectively.

CONCLUSIONTourette syndrome had been a common disease of children and juveniles in Wenzhou area. The disease was correlated with age and sex, often misdiagnosed and misclassified. Physicians and as well as general publics should be trained to identify the cases.
