RESUMO

Objective To investigate effects of preoperative application of parecoxib on postoperative analgesia and coagulation function in neurosurgical patients. Methods A total of 90 patients (38 males and 52 females,ASA physical status Ⅰ or Ⅱ) undergoing crainotomy were randomly divided into two groups(n=45): parecoxib group (group P) and control group (group C).At 30 min before operation, group P received intravenous injection of parecoxib 40 mg (5 ml),group C intravenous injection of saline 5 ml.Postoperative patient-controlled intravenous analgesia (PCIA) was performed in all patients.PCIA formula of sufentanil 2 μg/kg+tropisetron 0.2 mg/kg,were diluted with normal saline to 120 ml.The visual analogue scale (VAS),the total and effective PCIA pump compressions,Ramsay sedation scale of 2,4,16,24,48 h after operation were recorded.Coagulation function was measured before and 2 h,48 h after parecoxib administration.Meanwhile, adverse reactions were recorded. Results Comparion of VAS between the two groups was made within 48 h after surgery, the total and effective PCIA pump compressions, were much more in group C than in group P (P<0.05).Ramsay sedation scale of group C was higher than that in group P at 2 h after operation. There were no significant differences in coagulation function. And the percentage of patients′ adverse effects in group P was lower than that in group C (P<0.05).Conclusion Parecoxib,as an analgesic, can enhance analgesic effect of sufentanil PCIA.Not only does it reduce the amount of sufentanil and incidence of adverse reactions, but also it has no significant effect on blood coagulation function.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: There are plenty of studies of estrogen effects on mammalian osteoblast, but the studies of estrogen effects on bird osteoblast cannot be found. There are many reports about the side effects of letrozole on bone metabolism, but there are no reports about the effect of letrozole on osteoblast.OBJECTIVE: The effects of estrogen and letrozole on the proliferation, cell cycle, estrogen receptor mRNA expression and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity of chicken osteoblast in vitro were studied in order to illustrate the mechanism of medullary bone osteogenesis.METHODS: The osteoblasts were harvested from the frontal bone of 15-day SPF chicken embryos by the enzyme digestion, and treated with various mass concentrations of estrogen (0, 5, 10, 20, 100. 200, 400,800, 2 000, 20 000 ng/L) and letrozole (0, 5.10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1 000, 5 000 μg/L). The proliferation rates of the osteoblast treated with estrogen or letrozole were measured through the MTT method, The ALP activities of osteoblast were measured by the pNPP method. The cell cycle was measured by flow cytometry. The expression of estrogen receptor mRNA was detected using real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction (PCR).RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The estrogen could promote proliferation of osteoblast in concentration- and time-dependent fashion. Estrogen could increase the expression of estrogen receptor mRNA, impulse cell cycle, and elevate ALP activities.Letrozole could increase the cell population, impulse cell cycle, inhibit estrogen receptor mRNA expression, but letrozole has no effects on ALP synthesis and secretion.

RESUMO

Objective To study the influence of Chiamydia trachmatis (CT) and Ureaplasma ure-alyticum (UU) infection on pregnant outcome and neonates. Methods 562 pregnant women were ran-domly selected, their cervical secretion was collected and detected for CT and UU by culture method. Groups were divided according to the results. All of them were followed-up till delivery. Results The in-cidence of infection of group CT、group UU、group CT and UU were 22.1%、28.8% and 3.7%;Compared with negative group, the group with positive result of CT、UU、 CT and UU had significant higher incidence of preterm labor, premature rupture of membranes, low weight infant and neonates pneumonia. Conclusions The infection of CT、UU can result in adverse pregnant outcome, preterm labor, premature rupture of mem-branes, low weight infant and neonate pneumonia.

RESUMO

To compare the efficacy and side effects of bupivaeaine(Bup)at two concentrations and fentanyl for caudal analgesia in children. Method:One hundred-fifty children undergoing hernia repair procedures under caudal anesthesia, were randomly assigned to five groups. Group A: 1% lidocaine (Lid), group B: 10% Lid+0.1% Bup, group C: 1% Lid+0.25% Baeup, group D: 1%Lid+0.15%Bup with 2?g?kg~(-1) fentanyl, group E: 1%Lid+0. 25%Bup with 2?g?kg~(-1) fentanyl for caudal analgesia, The degree of pain(LPS), nausea and vomiting (NV) were as sessed at 4, 8, 12 and 24 h after operation. Result: The numbers of LPS
