摘要

Objective To evaluate the characteristics of dose distribution of neuronal networks in vitro on microelectrode arrays(MEAs)under 2.6 GHz radiofrequency(RF)exposure.Methods The MEAs were coupled with a real-time RF exposure setup,and electromagnetic simulation software was used to calculate the RF dose absorbed in cultured neuronal networks.A fiber-optic temperature probe was used for experimental validation and monitoring of the cell temperature during RF exposure.The MEAs were used to record the electrical activity of neurons.Results For an input power of 1 W,a specific absorption rate(SAR)level of(15.51±2.48)W/kg was calculated,and the variability of the SAR distribution was 16%.In our experimental system,the temperature elevation of neurons was up to 0.15℃for an SAR of 4 W/kg RF exposure.Conclusion The exposure device can provide high SAR efficiency and uniformity in the 2.6 GHz band,which is suitable for studying the real-time effects of RF fields on the electrical activity of neuronal networks in the 5G network band.

摘要

To explore screening tools for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), which are convenient for primary hospitals, it can provide basic data for formulating ASD prevention policies. This was a cross-sectional study by cluster sampling. Huyi District and Xincheng District were extracted for investigation in Xi'an City. From July 2021 to September 2022, all children aged from 3 months to 36 months who live in the two districts were subjected to primary screening. The child care physician used the routine screening tool "warning signs checklist for screening psychological, behavioral and developmental problems of children" and cartoon pictures of "early high-risk warning signs of autism", the children who were positive in the initial screening were referred to the district level maternal and child health hospital for re-screening, and those who were positive in the re-screening were referred to Xi 'an Children's Hospital for diagnosis. The results showed that a total of 17 905 children aged from 3 months to 36 months were initially screened in the two districts, including 10 588 children aged from 18 months to 36 months, 50 children who were positive in the initial screening and 50 children who were re-screened. 23 children (18 boys and 5 girls) were diagnosed with ASD. The prevalence rate of ASD in children was 2.17‰ (95% confidence interval:1.29‰-3.06‰). 42 children were positive for "warning signs checklist" at the preliminary screening, and 19 were confirmed as ASD. 27 children were positive for "cartoon pictures" in the preliminary screening, and 23 were confirmed with ASD. The "cartoon pictures" in the preliminary screening and diagnosis of consistent rate was higher than the "warning signs checklist", two kinds of screening methods comparison were statistically significant difference in the odds of consistent (χ2=11.01, P=0.001). In conclusion, relying on the three-level network of maternal and child health care, it is conducive to the whole process management of screening and diagnosis of children with ASD, and to guide the formulation of prevention policies. The cartoon pictures of "early high-risk warning signs of autism" can assist the identification of children with ASD based on the "warning signs checklist", which is simple, effective and suitable for promotion in the community health care.

摘要

Objective:To investigate the expression of calcium binding-protein A9 (S100A9) in cervical cancer and its relationship with the efficacy of TC (paclitaxel+carboplatin) regimen chemotherapy in patients.Methods:A total of 119 patients with cervical cancer who were scheduled to undergo TC regimen chemotherapy in the Central Hospital of Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture from July 2017 to May 2021 were selected to conduct a prospective study. The tissue samples of all patients were obtained by biopsy before treatment, and the expressions of S100A9, matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in cervical cancer tissues and paracancerous normal tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry. The correlation of S100A9 expression with MMP-9 and VEGF expressions in cervical cancer tissues were analyzed by using Spearman method. The patients were divided into the effective group (complete remission+partial remission) and the ineffective group (stable disease+progressive disease) according to the effectiveness of chemotherapy, and the expressions of S100A9, MMP-9 and VEGF in cervical cancer tissues of the two groups were compared. The influencing factors for TC regimen chemotherapy efficacy were analyzed by using multivariate logistic regression method.Results:Compared with paracancerous tissues, the positive expression rates of S100A9 [90.76% (108/119) vs. 45.38% (54/119)], MMP-9 [55.46% (66/119) vs. 17.65% (21/119)] and VEGF [78.99% (94/119) vs. 24.37% (29/119)] were all elevated in cervical cancer tissues ( χ2 values were 47.03, 36.69 and 71.09, all P < 0.001). The S100A9 expression in cervical cancer tissues was positively correlated with MMP-9 and VEGF expressions ( r values were 0.619 and 0.784, both P < 0.001). The effective rate of TC regimen chemotherapy was 47.06% (56/119). The positive expression rate of S100A9 in cervical cancer tissues of the effective group was higher than that of the ineffective group [98.21% (55/56) vs. 84.13% (53/63), P < 0.05], while the positive expression rates of MMP-9 [35.71% (20/56) vs. 73.02% (46/63)] and VEGF [67.86% (38/56) vs. 88.89% (56/63)] were lower than those of the ineffective group (both P < 0.001). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that clinical stage Ⅳ ( OR = 2.707, 95% CI 1.865-4.119, P < 0.05), lymph node metastasis ( OR = 4.468, 95% CI 3.221-5.823, P < 0.001), deep myometrial invasion ( OR = 5.686, 95% CI 4.308-7.247, P < 0.001), vascular tumor thrombus or parauterine invasion ( OR = 3.758, 95% CI 2.584-5.163, P < 0.001), MMP-9 positive expression in cancer tissues ( OR = 3.904, 95% CI 2.876-5.228, P < 0.001) and VEGF positive expression in cancer tissues ( OR = 2.609, 95% CI 1.793-4.052, P < 0.05) were the risk factors affecting the TC regimen chemotherapy efficacy, while the S100A9 positive expression in cancer tissues was the protective factor for TC regimen chemotherapy efficacy ( OR = 0.660, 95% CI 0.417-0.854, P < 0.05). Conclusions:The expression of S100A9 in cervical cancer tissues increases and correlates with MMP-9 and VEGF expressions. The high expression of S100A9 could increase the effectiveness of TC regimen chemotherapy in cervical cancer patients, while clinical stage Ⅳ, lymph node metastasis, deep muscle invasion, vascular tumor thrombus or parauterine invasion, MMP-9 positive expression and VEGF positive expression may increase the risk of ineffective chemotherapy with TC regimen in patients.

摘要

Objective:To construct a core index system of job responsibilities for specialist trauma nurses tailored to the current trauma care system in China and provide a reference for trauma centers to set up specialist trauma nurses.Methods:Literature review and group discussion were used to develop the first draft of the core index system of job responsibilities for specialist trauma nurses. The Delphi method was used to conduct two rounds of consultation among 15 experts from 7 provinces or cities in China to determine the final draft. The two rounds of expert active coefficient, expert authority coefficient ( Cr), Kendal coefficient (Kendall′s W), and average value of the importance and variation coefficient ( CV) of each indicator were calculated. Results:In both rounds of consultations, the expert active coefficient was 100%, and the Cr was 0.953. In the second round of consultation, the Kendall′s W was 0.188 ( χ2 =155.29, P<0.001), and the average value of the importance of each indicator ranged from 4.27-5.00 points with the CV of less than 0.25 points. The final index system consisted of 7 first-level indicators and 49 second-level indicators. Conclusion:The core index system of job responsibilities for specialist trauma nurses is reasonable and comprehensive, which can provide guidance for setting up positions of specialist trauma nurses in China.

摘要

Objective:To calculate the relative biological effectiveness (RBE) value of the released low-energy electrons in gadolinium neutron capture therapy ( 157GdNCT) based on microdosimetry. Methods:The Monte Carlo (MC) code Geant4-DNA package was used to simulate the energy deposition distribution and microdosimetry parameters of low-energy electrons released during gadolinium neutron capture treatment in different sensitive target volumes and physical models on track structures. On this basis, RBE value was obtained based on the microdosimetry kinetic model (MKM).Results:The low-energy electron RBE value was highly variable in different sensitive target volumes and decreases with increasing sensitive target volumes. With 6-nm-diameter sensitive target as reference, RBE value was 1.77 for 6-nm diameter, 1.53 for 10 nm diameter with percentage difference 13%, and 1.40 for 15-nm diameter with percentage difference of 21%, respectively. The effect of different Geant4-DNA physical models on the RBE of low-energy electrons was small. Using the RBE value of 1.53 for physical model option2 as reference, the RBE values of option6 and option7 were 1.49 and 1.52, respectively, with the percentage differences of 2.6% and 0.6%, respectively.Conclusions:The RBE values of low energy electrons released by 157GdNCT in different sensitive target volumes and physical models were calculated by MKM to be 1.40-1.77.

摘要

OBJECTIVE@#To identify and characterize read-through RNAs and read-through circular RNAs (rt-circ-HS) derived from transcriptional read-through hypoxia inducible factor 1α (HIF1α) and small nuclear RNA activating complex polypeptide 1 (SNAPC1) the two adjacent genes located on chromosome 14q23, in renal carcinoma cells and renal carcinoma tissues, and to study the effects of rt-circ-HS on biological behavior of renal carcinoma cells and on regulation of HIF1α.@*METHODS@#Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and Sanger sequencing were used to examine expression of read-through RNAs HIF1α-SNAPC1 and rt-circ-HS in different tumor cells. Tissue microarrays of 437 different types of renal cell carcinoma (RCC) were constructed, and chromogenic in situ hybridization (ISH) was used to investigate expression of rt-circ-HS in different RCC types. Small interference RNA (siRNA) and artificial overexpression plasmids were designed to examine the effects of rt-circ-HS on 786-O and A498 renal carcinoma cell proliferation, migration and invasiveness by cell counting kit 8 (CCK8), EdU incorporation and Transwell cell migration and invasion assays. RT-PCR and Western blot were used to exa-mine expression of HIF1α and SNAPC1 RNA and proteins after interference of rt-circ-HS with siRNA, respectively. The binding of rt-circ-HS with microRNA 539 (miR-539), and miR-539 with HIF1α 3' untranslated region (3' UTR), and the effects of these interactions were investigated by dual luciferase reporter gene assays.@*RESULTS@#We discovered a novel 1 144 nt rt-circ-HS, which was derived from read-through RNA HIF1α-SNAPC1 and consisted of HIF1α exon 2-6 and SNAPC1 exon 2-4. Expression of rt-circ-HS was significantly upregulated in 786-O renal carcinoma cells. ISH showed that the overall positive expression rate of rt-circ-HS in RCC tissue samples was 67.5% (295/437), and the expression was different in different types of RCCs. Mechanistically, rt-circ-HS promoted renal carcinoma cell proliferation, migration and invasiveness by functioning as a competitive endogenous inhibitor of miR-539, which we found to be a potent post-transcriptional suppressor of HIF1α, thus promoting expression of HIF1α.@*CONCLUSION@#The novel rt-circ-HS is highly expressed in different types of RCCs and acts as a competitive endogenous inhibitor of miR-539 to promote expression of its parental gene HIF1α and thus the proliferation, migration and invasion of renal cancer cells.

Objective: To explore the vaccination coverage of the 13-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV13) in China from 2017 to 2021. Methods: Using the reported number of PCV13 administrated doses from 2017 to 2021 and the population data from 31 provinces in China, which were collected by the Immunization Program Information System and summarized data at different levels (prefecture, provincial, and national). Collecting batch release data of PCV13 during the same period through the official website of the National Institutes for Food and Drug Control. The average coverage level of PCV13 was calculated by comparing the number of PCV13 vaccinations reported annually to the number of births in that year, and the spatial auto-correlation analysis was conducted in 2021 at the prefecture level. The coverage of PCV13 vaccination was estimated by the total vaccine doses administered each year divided by the number of newborn in the year, as of the administrated dose number per 100 people. Results: From March 2017 to December 2020, the total batch release of PCV13 was 20.06 million, with a total of 71.54, 384.75, 475.45, and 10.8886 million doses each year. During the same period, PCV13 reported doses were 20.2369 million and the vaccination doses from 2017 to 2021 were 4.08, 170.46, 407.52, 599.77, and 8.4185 million doses, respectively. From 2017 to 2021, the ratio of PCV13 doses administrated per 100 infants in each year was 0.25, 10.26, 23.81, 38.16, and 69.90 doses per 100 people, respectively. The range of the ratio in each province increased from 3.85 doses in 2017 to 264.41 doses per 100 people in 2021. The spatial auto-correlation analysis results showed that based on prefecture-level cities, there was spatial clustering in a certain area of PCV13 coverage from 2017 to 2021, and the spatial correlation in 2021 was the highest. The hotspot analysis showed that the hotspot areas with high coverage levels of PCV13 were concentrated in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Fujian and their surrounding areas. The cold spots with low vaccine coverage were concentrated in Yunnan, Qinghai, Tibet, and their surrounding areas. Conclusion: The average coverage level of PCV13 is low in China with significant regional differences.

摘要

Corticosteroid switching can reverse abiraterone resistance in some patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). Here, we investigated the potential biomarkers for predicting the efficacy of corticosteroid switching during treatment with abiraterone acetate (AA). We retrospectively analyzed 101 mCRPC patients receiving corticosteroid switching from West China Hospital and Sun Yat-Sen University Cancer Center between January 2016 and December 2018. All cases received AA plus prednisone as first-line therapy during mCRPC. Primary end points were biochemical progression-free survival (bPFS) and overall survival (OS). The risk groups were defined based on multivariate analysis. A total of 42 (41.6%) and 25 (24.8%) patients achieved 30% and 50% decline in prostate-specific antigen (PSA), respectively, after corticosteroid switching. The median bPFS and median OS on AA plus dexamethasone were 4.9 (95% confidence interval [CI]: 3.7-6.0) months and 18.8 (95% CI: 16.2-30.2) months, respectively. Aldo-keto reductase family 1 member C3 (AKR1C3) expression (hazard ratio [HR]: 2.15, 95% Cl: 1.22-3.80, P = 0.008) and baseline serum alkaline phosphatase (ALP; HR: 4.95, 95% Cl: 2.40-10.19, P < 0.001) were independent predictors of efficacy before corticosteroid switching in the multivariate analysis of bPFS. Only baseline serum ALP >160 IU l-1 (HR: 3.41, 95% Cl: 1.57-7.38, P = 0.002) together with PSA level at switch ≥50 ng ml-1 (HR: 2.59, 95% Cl: 1.22-5.47, P = 0.013) independently predicted poorer OS. Based on the predictive factors in multivariate analysis, we developed two risk stratification tools to select candidates for corticosteroid switching. Detection of serum ALP level, PSA level, and tissue AKR1C3 expression in mCRPC patients could help make clinical decisions for corticosteroid switching.

Objective To analyze the polymorphism of Plasmodium lactate dehydrogenase (pLDH) gene and predict B-cell epitopes in pLDH peptides in four species of human malaria parasites. Methods The blood samples and epidemiological characteristics were collected from malaria cases in Yunnan Province registered in the National Notifiable Disease Report System. The pLDH genes of four human Plasmodium species were amplified using nested PCR assay and sequenced. The polymorphisms of pLDH genes was analyzed using the software MEGA version 7.0.26 and DnaSP version 5.10, and the B-cell epitopes were predicted in pLDH peptides using the Immune Epitope Database (IEDB). Results The sequences of P. vivax LDH (PvLDH), P. falciparum LDH (PfLDH), P. ovale LDH (PoLDH) and P. malariae LDH (PmLDH) genes were obtained from 153, 29, 17 and 11 blood samples from patients with P. vivax, P. falciparum, P. ovale and P. malariae malaria, respectively, which included 15, 2, 4 and 2 haplotypes and had a nucleotide diversity (π) of 0.104. A high level of intra-species differentiation was seen in the PoLDH gene (π = 0.012), and the π values were all < 0.001 for PvLDH, PfLDH and PmLDH genes. Active regions of B-cell antigen were predicted in the pLDH peptide chain of four human malaria parasites, of 4 to 5 in each chain, and the activity score was approximately 0.430. Among these peptide chains, the “86-PGKSDKEWNRD-96” short-peptide was a B-cell epitope shared by all four species of human malaria parasites, and the “266-GQYGHS (T)-271” short-peptide was present in PvLDH and PoLDH peptide chains, while “212-EEVEGIFDR-220” was only found in the PvLDH peptide chain, and “208-LISDAE-213” was only seen in the PfLDH peptide chain. Conclusions The PoLDH gene polymorphism may be derived from the weak negative purification selection, while PvLDH, PfLDH and PmLDH genes may maintain a relatively conservative state. There may be two B-cell epitopes “212-EEVEGIFDR-220” and “208-LISDAE-213” in the proximal region of the C terminal in the pLDH peptide chain, which is feasible to differentiate between P. vivax and P. falciparum infections.

摘要

Objective: To describe the prevalence of e-cigarette use among adolescent in Zhejiang province, and to analyze its distribution of different genders and school types to provide evidence for controlling the use of e-cigarette among adolescent. Methods: A total of 7 663 students from 60 middle schools through stratified multi-stage cluster sampling methods from Zhejiang province were surveyed by using questionnaire. Indicators as tried to use e-cigarette rate, current e-cigarette using rate, and other indicators were collected. All data were weighted by age proportions of adolescent in Zhejiang. Results: The prevalence of tried to use and current using e-cigarettes among middle school students were 6.99% and 1.45%, respectively; and there were 4.19% juniors who were susceptibility to future e-cigarette use. The rate of tied to use e-cigarette, current using e-cigarette and susceptibility to future e-cigarette use were higher in boys than in girls. The rate of current using e-cigarette was 2.07% for rural and 0.48% for urban. Technical secondary school students had the highest rate of tried to use e-cigarette and susceptibility to future e-cigarette use (13.53%, 6.91%). Junior school students (2.96%) had the lowest level of susceptibility to future tobacco use. The rate of tried e-cigarette use and current e-cigarette use and susceptibility to future e-cigarette use were higher in the group of "One of students' parents was smoker" (8.63%, 2.19%, 5.23%). The highest rate of current smoking was found in the group of "Weekly allowance more than 50 Yuan" (10.02%, 2.54%, 6.29%). Compared to technical secondary school students, senior school student (OR=0.57) and junior school students (OR=0.45) were less likely to try to use e-cigarette. Students whose weekly allowance were less than 20 Yuan were less likely to try to use e-cigarette (OR=0.49). Students who were boys (OR=5.44) and one of their parents was smoker (OR=1.59) were more likely to try to use e-cigarette. Conclusions: There were middle school students with tried e-cigarette use and current e-cigarette use, especially in technical secondary schools. The prevalence of e-cigarette using among middle school students increased with age. It is important to further spread of e-cigarette knowledge widely and deeply, and reduce the susceptible population of adolescents using e-cigarettes.

摘要

Objective @#To explore the mechanism of nuclear factor E2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) in bleomycin (BLM) -induced DNA damage of lung cancer cells.@*Methods @#The fluorescence intensity of tissue reactive oxygen species (ROS) in human lung cancer cells A549 and H1299 was detected by a reactive oxygen species fluorescent probe ( DCFH-DA) .DNA damage of A549 and H1299 cells treated with 5 μg / ml BLM was detected by Western blot and micronucleus.Then,the Nrf2-low expression transient siRNA and the stably shRNA-transformed lung cancer cells were respectively constructed to detect the DNA damage after BLM.The interaction between Nrf2 and Rad51 in cells was detected by co-immunoprecipitation method. @*Results @#Under the action of BLM,ROS levels in A549 and H1299 cells increased significantly,and Nrf2 entered the cell nucleus for activation(P<0. 01) .Under the effect of BLM,resveratrol ( Res) stimulated A549 and H1299 cells to up-regulate the protein expression of Nrf2 ( P < 0. 01) ,while the expression of DNA damage marker protein γ-H2AX decreased(P<0. 01) .On the contrary,after interfering the protein expression of Nrf2 in A549 and H1299 cells with siRNA,the protein expression of γ-H2AX in A549 and H1299 cells was significantly up-regulated under the action of BLM(P<0. 01) .Western blot results showed that the expression of homologous recombination repair protein Rad51 and the expression of Nrf2 protein in A549 cells with low Nrf2 expression were significantly down-regulated (P <0. 01) .@*Conclusion @#The antioxidant transcription factor Nrf2 in tumor cells can interact with Rad51 to regulate the expression of Rad51 and reduce BLM-induced cellular DNA damage.

摘要

Objective To describe the inpatient care expenditure of the terminally ill patients in the geriatric ward of Peking Union Medical College Hospital and facilitate future research on the economic outcomes of hospice and palliative care.Methods The histories of patients admitted to the Department of Geriatrics of Peking Union Medical College Hospital during 2018 were reviewed by trained doctors.According to the diagnosis and overall health state,terminally ill patients were selected and enrolled in the study.Demographics,health and disease information,prescriptions,and expenditure details were retrieved from the HIS system.Results In 2018,35 patients were terminally ill and eligible for hospice care,including 20 males and 15 females,with the average age of(78±8)years(59-91 years),the average age-adjusted Charlson Comorbidity Index of 10±3,and the median Barthel index of 40(10,70).These patients had malignant tumor(23 cases),heart failure(4 cases),end-stage renal disease(1 case),end-stage liver disease(2 cases),dementia(4 cases)and other severe diseases(3 cases).The patients received standard care within the scope of internal medicine and geriatrics.Finally,8 patients died during hospitalization,and 27 were discharged alive.The 35 patients had the median length of stay of 15(12,23)days,the median inpatient expenditure of CNY 21 500(13 800,37 600),and the median daily expenditure of CNY 1425(970,2503).The percentage of expenditure was(28.5±12.3)% for medication,(33.2±18.0)% for tests and examinations,and 11.5%(6.4%,15.8%)for accommodation and medical services.The medications for symptom control costed CNY(77±58)per day on average,accounting for(5.2±3.5)% of the total expenditure.Conclusions The inpatient expenditure for terminally ill patients in the tertiary grade A hospital was higher than that reported in community hospitals providing hospice care.In terms of expenditure constitution,the money spent on medications and tests/examinations were similar,and the percentage of expenditure on medications for symptom control was low.There is a need for further research on the economic impact of hospice and palliative care among terminally ill patients in China.

摘要

Aim To study the effect of H2S synthase CBS-derived H2S from mouse nerve cells on the proliferation and migration of the brain vascular endothelial cells and its relationship with VEGFR2. Methods CCK-8 method was used to detect cell proliferation, cell scratch method and Transwell method were used to detect cell migration, methyl blue method was used to detect H2S content, and calcium fluorescence imaging method was used to detect intracellular free Ca2 + concentration. HT22 cells were co-cultured with bEnd. 3 cells by using Transwell system. Results The H2S donor NaHS( 1 xlO"8-1 X 10"3'5 mol • L'1) significantly increased the proliferation and migration of HU- VEC cells and bEnd. 3 cells, while the VEGFR2 blocker SU5416 (10 (xmol • L"1) markedly inhibited the NaHS- increased proliferation and migration; in the co-culture system,the substrate of H2S synthase CBS, L-Cys (100 |xmol • L"1) , significantly promoted the proliferation and migration of bEnd. 3 cells, and increased intracellular Ca2 + fluorescence intensity in bEnd. 3 cells and the H2S content in the co-culture. However, CBS inhibitor AO A A (1 mmol • L"1 ) and SU5416 significantly attenuated the effects of L-Cys on the proliferation and migration and intracellular Ca2 + fluorescence intensity. Conclusions The CBS-derived H2S from neurons can promote the proliferation and migration of mouse cerebral vascular endothelial cells, which may be related to activation of VEGFR2 and subsequently increase of intracellular free Ca2+ concentration.

摘要

Abstract  In recent years, development of the targeted drugs according to the biological characteristics of tumors have provided more treatment options for tumor patients. It was found that the overactivation or abnormality of B cell receptor (BCR) signal pathway closely related to the occurrence and development of various B cell tumors, such as chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and mantle cell lymphoma (MCL). As a key kinase in the BCR pathway, BTK inhibitors have obvious anti-tumor effect when its activity is being inhibitered. Currently, BTK inhibitors developed include the first-generation Ibrutinib and the second-generation Acalabrutinib, which can be targeted at the inhibition of BTK and its downstream signaling pathway, and have important therapeutic value for a variety of B-cell tumors, such as CLL and partial non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL). However, its side effects and drug-resistance also gradually emerged, effective drug combination therapy has shown a certain clinical activity. This reviews summarizes briefly the mechanism and status of BTK inhibitors in the treatment of various B-cell tumors.

Objective:To explore the status of disability, characteristics of unmet needs and services of rehabilitation and their related factors for adults with disabilities (AWDs). Methods:A total of 2 315 498 AWDs were sampled from the provincial level administration data (2019). Multiple response analysis was used to analysis the disability status of AWDs, characteristics of unmet needs and received services of rehabilitation, and related factors were explored with Logistic regression. Results:The distribution of disabilities for AWDs from high to low were physical disabilities (62.2%), visual disabilities (9.9%), intellectual disabilities (8.4%), mental disorders (7.3%), hearing disabilities (6.9%), multiple disabilities (2.8%) and speech disabilities (2.5%). The reporting rate of unmet needs of rehabilitation for AWDs from high to low were assistive devices (49.0%), medicine (33.3%), nursing care (27.7%), functional training (20.2%) and surgery (1.9%). The reporting rate of received service for AWDs from high to low were assistive devices (44.1%), nursing care (26.6%), medicine (25.9%), functional training (22.2%) and surgery (1.3%). The logistic regression model shown that types and severities of disabilities had significant effects on unmet needs and received services of rehabilitation for AWDs (P < 0.001). Conclusion:The reporting of unmet needs for AWDs had been influenced by their functioning and disability. There were gaps between unmet needs and received services. It proposed to develop precise and individualized reporting of unmet needs and service programs for AWDs.

Objective:To explore the status of disability, and characteristics of unmet needs and services of rehabilitation for children with disabilities (CWDs). Methods:A total of 130 290 CWDs administration data of unmet needs and services of rehabilitation at provincial level had been sampled and analyzed. Results:CWDs accounted for 5.33% of the total population with disabilities, in which, 60.4% were boys and 39.6% were girls; 16.3% aged 0 to nine years and 83.7% were seven to 18 years old; 88.4% with agricultural household and 11.6% with non-agricultural household. The distribution of disability severity from severe to mild were 28.3%, 39.5%, 17.7% and 14.6%. The reported unmet needs included assistive devices (40.3%), functional training (37.4%), nursing care (32.2%), medicine (24.9%) and surgery (5.7%). The received services involved in assistive devices (37.9%), functional training (33.7%), nursing care (31.0%), medicine (19.7%) and surgery (2.9%). Logistic Regression model showed that severities of disabilities had significant effects on reported unmet needs and received services (P < 0.001). Conclusion:Implement rehabilitation programs would be tailored to the unmet needs of rehabilitation as CWDs had functioning oriented unmet needs. It proposed to develop individualized and structured rehabilitation services to improve the accessibility and quality of rehabilitation for CWDs.

Objective:To analyze the characteristics of needs and development of rehabilitation services for people with visual disability (PVD). Methods:A total of 241 865 PVDs administration data of unmet needs and services of rehabilitation at provincial level were sampled and analyzed the characteristics of needs and services of rehabilitation, and the related factors of needs and services. Results:There were 50 882 (21.0%) PVDs reported their needs of rehabilitation, from high to low were assistive devices (56.5%), medicine (29.0%), nursing care (24.6%), functional training (15.5%), and surgery (4.2%). There were 43 492 (18.0%) PVDs reported their received services of rehabilitation, from high to low were assistive devices (55.0%), medicine (21.6 %), nursing care (20.8%), functional training (20.7%) and surgery (2.3%). The logistic regression model showed that severities of disabilities related with the reported unmet needs and received services (P < 0.001). Conclusion:PVDs reported unmet needs mainly in the fields of assistive devices, medicine, and nursing care. There is match structure of unmet needs and received services. It is important to provide accessible information environment. Information and communication technology (ICT) are proposed to assistive technology services for PVDs to enhance their capacity of information acquisition and to promote their participations.
