ABSTRACT

AIM: To study the clinical significance of determining serum anti-endothelial cell antibodies (AECA) and thrombopoietin (TPO) in the differential diagnosis of idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). METHODS: Serum AECA and TPO in 76 patients with ITP, 41 patients with SLE and 50 normal individuals were detected by ELISA method.
