RESUMEN

En el presente documento se establecen las estrategias y actividades para garantizar la salud bucal en la población salvadoreña, constituye el producto de un amplio proceso de consultas interinstitucionales bajo la conducción del MINSAL, definiendo estrategias y actividades que se desarrollarán en el presente quinquenio, así como las metas que se pretenden alcanzar, con base a la documentación regulatoria institucional vigente para elaborar planes de acción, encaminados a generar cambios de actitudes y prácticas, estilos de vida saludables, en conjunto con estrategias y abordajes preventivos de tipo individual y comunitario, de tal forma que la población pueda mantener y preservar su salud bucal, recibir prestaciones en salud dentro de un marco de eficiencia y calidad de los servicios

ABSTRACT

This document establishes the strategies and activities to guarantee the health in the salvadoran population, constitutes the product of a broad consultation process interinstitutional under the leadership of MINSAL, defining strategies and activities to be developed in the present five-year period, as well as the goals that are intended to be achieved, with based on the current institutional regulatory documentation to prepare plans for action, aimed at generating changes in attitudes and practices, lifestyles healthy, in conjunction with strategies and preventive approaches of individual type and community, in such a way that the population can maintain and preserve its health oral health, receive health benefits within a framework of efficiency and quality of services
