ABSTRACT

Objective:

To study the relationship between health-related quality of life and its relevance from the individual and group perspective.

Methods:

Based on the 5th national health service survey data,Pearson correlation coefficient was used to study the EQ-5D VAS from the perspective of China's residents, and study the correlation of health utility value from the perspective of population.

Results:

Health related quality of life in China was good, the VAS score was 80.9110 (80.8490,80.9730),the utility was 0.9588 (0.9583,0.9594),the correlation coefficients were 0.5294 and 0.6972.

Conclusion:

The establishment of utility value system in China was conducive to further promote the application of EQ-5D scale in the health field in China, and as well as the China's health cost effectiveness study. The correlation of the EQ-5D VAS score from the perspective of China's residents and the correlation of health utility value from the perspective of population was not high, but it had a high consistency in high frequency state. However, the healthy life quality of residents in China presented a serious population and regional inequality,as well as differences in health evaluation behavior.
