ABSTRACT
Sacroiliac complex is a bone-ligament complex located at the back of the pelvic ring, including the sacroiliac joint, periarticular ligaments and pelvic floor muscles and fascia. The sacroiliac joint is an important structure to transfer the load on the torso and lower limbs and complete the mechanical conduction.Lower back pain associated with sacroiliac joint lesions is attracting more and more attention.Experiments and finite element analysis are important research methods for the sacroiliac complex injury because they can well display the biological mechanics of the joint, simulate the mechanisms of the injury and thus provide corresponding treatments for surgeons. This paper focuses on the mechanical characteristics of the sacroiliac complex, establishment and clinical application of the finite element models of the sacroiliac joint complex.
