Research progress of evaluation tool of difficult intravenous access / 中国实用护理杂志

ABSTRACT

Difficult intravenous access (DIVA) is common in intravenous insertion, appropriate DIVA management is based on precise evaluation.The development and application of DIVA assessment tool provides a reference for medical staffs to assess the patient's peripheral venous conditions and manage effectively. The DIVA assessment tools for children, adult and patients received chemotherapy were reviewed in this paper to provide the reference for evaluation,management and nursing practice of DIVA.
